6701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Determination is power on: August 02, 2018, 10:26:52 PM
I have noticed in crypto currency space that people find it difficult to focus and be determined to succeed in crypto
People tend to forget that millions is not made in a day;

But to be sincere I think when we are determined to make it
Crypto is the home for everyone

How can you blame them. Bitcoin has been picture to make money fast, sort of get rich scheme, however, when they found out that its not, then suddenly lost motivation, sold off and went on the next coin. However, for people who have a lot of patience and looking at the future, they are not affected by the sudden price drops, but adjust and changes strategy as they go along the way. That's why bitcoin is for long term investment and not to get rich in an instant.
6702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin popularity will increase, when no Gold is found in Fort Knox. on: August 02, 2018, 08:59:27 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency and it has no relationship with gold. More this issue of the respective country and we know every government has its own policy and so I think that we should not comment on that.

I think what the OP is starting is that it's possible that Gold investors, those fanboys will shift their money to crypto in case that it was proven that the government of America has been deceiving the US citizen about their gold reserves in Fort Knox. Also, bitcoin has been touted as the new gold, Gold 2.0 as most evangelist would like to put it. Of course, we have every right to comment on it because Governments exist for the people and we have all the rights to found the real truth about it. Not unless you don't care about what your governments agenda and its plan on your country.
6703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: August 01, 2018, 10:30:28 PM
Why bitcoin price keeps going down these days? Is it just the ETF rejection of Vinklevoss twins?

Nah, probably shorting bitcoin as this point. From $6K-$8.5K, traders make it looks like that we are going into a healthy recovery until the rejection and then they short it taking the profits with them. Just look at how we trade sideways leading up to another fall. If this is a bull run we wouldn't be trading like that in like 3 days. And then the perfect excuse comes in, the ETF rejection. And soon followed by the panic run causing the price to fall at $7500.
6704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pump and dump tactic on: August 01, 2018, 10:08:36 PM
There are lot of tricks you can follow to understand pumps and dumps. But my best advice is, if you are a noob just wait a bit and study ow market volumes and trading strategies going on when a dump or a pump is gonna happen. One of very useful thing to track in pumps and dumps are trading volumes and quick trading volume. There are several ways of tracking these like telegram bots.
The pump and dump tactic is not that easy. Because we need to consider things or maybe sometimes we need to sacrifice because we all have needs that need to be adress, sometimes we dont want to sell during the price is dump butvwe cant help our self having a hard time on holding when there are things that is normaly needed as human. So then i believe that pump and dump tactic is not just depend on the price but also with our needs.

Weird. If you learn to invest what you can afford then why the "need" factor enter the picture then? Its a pump and dump scheme, meaning if the price goes up and you have made a good profit then sell it. Then go on the next coin. Yes, there might be emergencies that we all go and need to sell our coins. But at least just put the money in the market in which you think you can burn. With that said, if the pump is already there and if you calculated that you already made money then for me there's no need to hold on it. I will immediately sell it off regardless of any "need" in real life and then re-invest it on the next coin.
6705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETF Really Effect the Bitcoin/BTC on: August 01, 2018, 09:33:08 PM
Hello...Freinds

There are lots of news are coming up about ETF & Bitcoin. Is Really ETF effect the BTC price?

If it has a effect, its going to be on a short term basis only. Bitcoin has survived with ETF for many years, although others may argue specially the CBoe ETF proposal can at least put some "trust" on the market, I don't think it will have a lasting effect. We may see a good price spike if its approved, however, long term, I don't see it having a significant impact on the price and I believed that it won't push the price to a new all-time-high.
6706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: national cryptocurrency: how far are we from seeing a country mainly rely on one on: July 31, 2018, 03:49:15 PM
venezuella unleashed one, and also, iran is doing, so there are already existing

I was about to say that. However, are they really making government backup coins to circumvent trade sanctions against them by the West lead by the US? Or they are really doing it to save their country? There's a lot of questions as it is pegged on oil and gas if I'm not mistaken, so those states can clearly manipulate it in their favor that could really damage cryptocurrencies reputation.
6707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is anticipated to raise $10,000 sooner on: July 30, 2018, 05:02:11 PM
Bitcoin break past the $8,000 mark. Do you think the price of Bitcoin will break the $10,000 mark sooner? Will it be worth it to get more bitcoin at this price?

Pre-ETF = I don't think that we can breached the $10K mark.
Post-ETF = If is gets approved then obviously, just matter of days before the $10K can be broken and we can even see a exponential growth. However, if its gets rejected, the price could suddenly make a free fall to as low as $6K again. That's why we need to watch out for SEC decision next month and see how it will affect the market in the next coming months.
6708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you addicted to trading? This is for you on: July 30, 2018, 04:33:09 PM
When I first invested in this market, day trading was taking up most of my time. I was almost addicted to trading day by day as I ran into the waves on the price of the market.

Others see trading as their main job, sort of their source of income so its understandable that they are spending 8 - 12 hours a day because its brings money and food on the table. I guess if it really involves some form of monetary reward like gambling, its going to be addicted.

I think the crypto trading addiction is not good because all that is excessive like gambling will have a bad effect
Good trading should be consistent, efficient and structured
so I think rehab trade is an option for trading junkies because trading is not needed excessive but only in need consistent in trading

Again, it really boils down how people see trading. Others are really hooked up because of the money they can potentially get/lost. But for me, rehab should be the last resort because I personally believed that individuals won't get addicted as long as they are not going to be greedy and as you have said, just be consistent and structured on their trading activity.
6709  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin bull run begins now? on: July 29, 2018, 03:38:58 AM
As i see in market board bitcoin has start to recover and i think bull run has started. Now bitcoin price is around 8k when the lowest drop i checked is 6k and i think its coming to recover again. Good luck to all users and investor this is it what we waiting for.

I beg to disagree, this is not a bull run per se. This is just bitcoin trying to get back on its feet and there is a lot of positive news that is going around, and that is the reason why we see the price going above the $8 mark. And just by looking at the volumes, it has nothing compare to $10M we hit like everyday when we are in a massive bull run. So just don't get excited here, but continue to observe and read the graphs and wait till the news of ETF approval/rejection next month and then we will see if we can sustain this to a bull run then.
6710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price resilience on: July 29, 2018, 03:23:27 AM
Following the rejection of BTC/ETFs this week, bitcoin price fell by $400 which sent the price a little below $8000 .Many started the normal panic thing, today,I woke up only to discover that BTC has strongly hit 8.2k .This made my day as the price is telling us that BTC has greater potentials than what the SEC is thinking. I know one day the ETFs will be a reality.Sooner than we expect.Long live BTC and crypto.

We have been doing well even without the ETF and that ETF being rejected a few days ago is not the "big one" that we all have been waiting for.  What we are waiting for is the CBoe ETF proposal which is due for approval/rejection somewhere in August. That's why when the price declined, it has recovered nicely. But you need to wait up until the critical days leading to the CBoe application, I'm sure if ever we get a bad news bitcoin will live but we might felt panic if the proposal is rejection. But then, it will be short-lived and Bitcoin will bounce back again.
6711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do ? on: July 28, 2018, 05:08:22 AM
First of all sorry if I posted this in the wrong section honestly don't know where this would fit.

Now on to the main QUESTION say you have 2000$ to invest right now into crypto. Which of these 2 you will invest ? or rather you see more rapid gains in future. Bitcoin or Ethereum

Btw right now 2000$ will give you 0.24 BTC OR 4.16 ETH

I just want to know your onions guys that's all  Smiley

There's no doubt that bitcoin is the best option right now. But it really depends on your goal as well:

1. short term goal - just buy bitcoin and then wait till it gives you a good profit is short amount of time and then sell and take the profit

2. long term goal - buy bitcoin with your $2K and just hold on it for at least a year and see how it goes.

So its really up to you, no one can give you the right investment choice, its you who will make the final decision.
6712  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: July 28, 2018, 04:45:02 AM
It's not going to happen this year. If it does it will take at least five years I think.

I also don't think that its going to happen this year. But I won't take 5 years to reach it. Remember during crypto's peak we are at least 800 million to 900 million so its really possible. When the market started to bounce back again and bitcoin hits around $20K, I'm sure that 1 trillion will happen. Might take a year or two, when everything settles down and confidence is back on the market again.
6713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I do not understand the pessimism on: July 26, 2018, 09:29:24 PM
In reality the pessimism is not about the bitcoin price but the pessimism is about the dozens of shit coins and scam ico's daily...i thing that this is the time to do somthing about that because ther is a lots of stupide investors lose their money there
Stupid investors don't have anyone else to blame but themselves if they've invested in bogus icos. The warnings have been all around crypto world to be cautious and wary when investing and to make thorough studies on which coins you'll put money on. Sad part is, it makes bigger news when these lazy people lose money, making a lot of people think that this market is just full of scams.

Those are people who think that they can get away and became rich just by buying bitcoin. Lol. Ico's are a real magnet, they just pour their cash and believed that one day they will get huge dividends but it didn't happen. So they became pessimistic and then they make a sudden u-turn attacking crypto just because they lost their hard earn money.  Grin

6715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As Paper Notes Useful? thoughts? on: July 25, 2018, 11:08:13 PM
Bitcoin is digital, why would you create a banknote out of it? It will totally defeat its very purpose. If you are into paper note then you might as well just buy banknotes or something similar like a bond. It doesn't make sense for bitcoin to be like some kind of notes. 3/4 of the world has Internet already so I don't understand where you get the idea that there are still people who don't have access to world wide web.
6716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pump and dump tactic on: July 24, 2018, 04:22:12 PM
They are mostly scammers thats using some huge group to drag peoples in there groups then gave a signal on which coins they want to buy and when the time comes that more people are buying they will also start selling there bags and all people where live at the peak because there coins already dump.

Oh well, we can categorized them as scammers because they are really taking advantages of newbies just walking the door and them promising good returns but we all know that you can earn a lot without you paying the premium prices for the signals. So its good if you can stay away from them and do your homework do avoid lost of your money. I'm sure that all your hardwork will be paid at the end if you do study the coins that you are going to invest.
6717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ❗❗ Friendly Reminder: SECURE. YOUR. ASSETS. on: July 24, 2018, 03:44:52 PM
I think that we already stress this message across this forum for too long that it already sounded like a broken record. So I don't know if people have invested big enough money and doesn't know how to secure it. Exchanges has been hacked, online wallets and even scammers have been with us so by now if people still need reminders how to protect their assets and then bitch around later that they have lost tons of money then crypto is not for you.
6718  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about this week? on: July 23, 2018, 10:54:25 AM
Dear friend. The BTC always adjust this time, i think they will around 6k-7k for a short time. They will help the investors trust the market and will invest more and more, the market will recover. Good luck
Till the end of this year for me it will easily pump again to like 9-10k$ it is just a matter of time and we will be able to see its ath maybe in next year, just wait and stay possitive.
If we will notice a good signs of successive demand on bitcoin's price, I guess it's a number one factor that the value will start to recover. This will help the community gains enough trust with bitcoin, and some panics will be eliminated due to crucial speculations. We need to avoid any of those negativities so we'll be able to make it until such time, bitcoin value will stabilize at higher profitable value soon. So stay focus and don't ever be bothered with minimal fluctuations, because it was just part of the recovery period.

I would not call it trust by a long shot, perhaps interest is a appropriate term. If investors would just go back to the ecosystem and have their interest poked by bitcoin again then we will the price go up and maybe reach all-time-high at the end of the year. But in my view, those investors are still reluctant, why? because theirs no news that will make them imagine and experience what we got in December 2017. Only the ETF application is pushing the price right now and once its get rejected again, the price will decline. So Aug 10 will be very critical to all of us investors and traders.
6719  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bot trading on Exchanges on: July 22, 2018, 09:55:13 PM
Are there any exchanges that do not allow the use of bots in trading?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Mostly traders dont waste time on manual trading and set bot to do this job , so exchanges cant take risk of not allowing bot trading . it will result in loss of trading fees paid to the exchange . also i want to know why you need to know such exchange ? bcoz it do not affect other normal users at all . They dont force you to choose bots for trading , on all exchanges you can do trading yourself .

I agree that bot has a lot of uses, but I still believed that there are traditional investors who do it manually. Perhaps they saw that its better for them to make the trades and make the right decision as compare to a bot. And there's one downside of using bot though, remember the hack on Binance? The hackers used to exploit a bot that's why it was able to penetrate and made a sell. However, Binance was too quick and realize what's going on so they halted the withdrawal in time, resulting to the hackers losing money.
6720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token listing on: July 22, 2018, 09:35:32 PM
What's more better,Firstly token listing in exchanger and than distribution token or distribution token before listing in exchanger?

Good question.

A guess it boils down as to where the tokens will be listed. If its in a exchange that has a good reputation then I prefer it that way. But if the tokens will be just listed on a shit exchange and individual will just used it as a pump-and-dump scheme then its not good because I'm sure that the price will easily plummet. At least in a reputable exchanges, it will be hard to pump-and-dump it, in my view.
