6701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a MASSIVE bubble right now.. POP soon! on: January 18, 2018, 09:16:33 PM
The downside bubble is soon going to collapse soon. Right now we have Wall Street, Asia (taxes), and the double dose of FUD by the media creating a massive Bubble to the downside that even broke 10k at once, and may break it again.

But this bubble is going to POP really really soon - guarantee it.

Why is it that some people only talk about bubbles to the upside? We are definitely in a downside bubble right now for Bitcoin. For alts, I agree there was a large upside bubble. But Bitcoin hasn't even moved much recently. Definitely a downside bubble for a 0.5% adopted currency, and store of value.
We need not to lose our hope, we must into the positive side which could really people from trusting again into bitcoin. Though people says it a bubble, and yes it's true but it won't make bitcoin from losing it's capability in the market as it marked the name of cryptocurrency in the world history.
6702  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really anonymous? on: January 17, 2018, 06:34:12 PM
I can say YES at this time, but it could be happen that of being anonymous will started to change as some bounty investment needs to have KYC verifications which it requires for your real identity. Though the implementation isnt final but as crypto getting very popular worldwide it's gonna happen in later part.
6703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China will ban BTC exhangers for good on: January 16, 2018, 07:15:03 PM
We know China is a one of the developing and powerful country,  and of course they never wanted those things that they could never be controlled. The fact that China is throwing bitcoin away is that, they can't never have chances to take bitcoin's control and their interest with bitcoin couldn't be successful. And they think also that digital currencies are threat for their security.
6704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: January 14, 2018, 11:08:16 AM
Due to the large adoption of social medias by the community, it could be a huge help to promote any project and with that people can easily access it through internet. It could also help the spread of updates fast and easy way.
6705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or bitcoin cash on: January 14, 2018, 10:51:11 AM
Ethereum for sure. Bitcoin Cash (sometimes Bcash) is a coin with NO purpose. Just copying code from Bitcoin doesn't make it good. I would prefer Ethereum, but it will be beaten by Bitcoin if Segwit and smarter Contracts (through Segwit) will be available.
We can say that, the creation of BCH is only to destroy BTC performance and make people to diversify their investment into other coins. Certainly, BCH don't have any contribution towards crypto. Ethereum is still be the next in line after bitcoin in the market ranking as we base on performance level.
6706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 13, 2018, 11:15:22 PM
Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?
You have properly dine well and absolutely your money are safe. Usually people get hacked because they have using different PC in accessing their wallet and accidentally forgot to log-out. With that event, we can't make 100% assurance that you accnt will be safe. If ever that you have to access you account outside, it is better not to import your keys for it won't have a record on it.
6707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 13, 2018, 08:55:23 PM
Of course we should support the altcoins, I particularly support. For me the altcoin are like children of Bitcoin and for that reason I think it is natural to support. But I do not trust all the altcoins, in fact there is  few  altcoinsthat I trust.
Even we don't have trust with other altcoins, considering that they are parts of the entire crypto community we should have to support them all. People are verybchoosy in terms of investment, that's why some altcoins which is not cultivated well by its developer will totally not grow and mostly it considered as dying coin forever.
6708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very very long term Hodling advice on: January 13, 2018, 02:57:30 AM
I dont think that could be a good idea, 1-2 years of holding it could be enough. Because we can't tell which coin could make a good value for 15years or cryptocurrency are still doing great. Also because crypto market are getting hot, and then there is possibilities that some coins will disappear in future due to another coin created.
6709  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Money or Currency on: January 12, 2018, 02:10:17 AM
I considered this as money. Because bitcoin and other forms of cryptocurrencies are not accepted in our country, definitely I converted it our local currency so i can spend it in buying goods and some necessities.
6710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price drops below $15k..... on: January 12, 2018, 01:58:35 AM
The price of bitcoin is down more than 25 percent from an all-time high of nearly $20,000 reached this past weekend...
Prices fell to as low as $14,502 to start today's trading session, according to CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), about 27 percent from the all-time high of $19,783 reported on Dec. 17....
That certain scenario is common and normally to happen in the world of crypto. It wii happen also in the other forms of investment local or internatioal, because knowing that bitcoin is decentralized and the market are moving fast so therefore changes will occur every minute.

Hope you will update the spreadsheet.

6712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is going down? on: January 11, 2018, 02:03:29 AM
It is normal for bitcoin to fall from soaring high last year,we cant expect it to be stable all the time, it also depends in the demand on the market.Last year big investors and holder cashed out bitcoin for  holiday purposes due to sudden surge of price of bitcoin.Nowadays lots of new coin keep poping and it result of competition on the market.Other uses bitcoin for purchasing other coin.Lets just hope it wont drastically fall down completely.
That's right, there is nothing we can do for that to hold and keep bitcoin always having a price. Market price always varies in supply and demand, and we can't control it especially the numbers of investors coming in which can contribute a lot of changes in the market trend.

6714  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are the best bitcoin wallets? on: January 09, 2018, 10:30:38 PM
Looking for a secure place to store my bitcoins. What do you recommend? I found a few here, but looking for more feedback: http://cryptomarketmag.com/2018/01/07/best-bitcoin-wallets-2018/

Thanks!

I lately transfer some of my few funds in Electrum, and base on my observation of using it for a couple of months now, I don't seem to have any problem at all. So yes, it's true that it belongs to current reputable wallets ever existed. Then I recommend you to use electrum
Of course the security assurance of our coins is very important. No matter of what kind of wallet we used or how secured it is, but only matters is that how we handled our wallet. Keeping our private keys and seeds into a safe place is in big help or making a back-up copy of those so we can easily recover just incase it lost.
6715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC doing? on: January 09, 2018, 12:59:52 AM
XRP has a huge potential of surpassing Bitcoin in term of Market Cap.
As you cans see currently Bitcoin marketcap dominance is at all time low only 35% compared to what we had seen before 45%+
For the moment I'm just holding Bitcoin as I don't really know what will happen, but doesn't keep me away from investing in some Altcoins.
As what happen in the market trend, we can't really predict what will happen next compared before. It seems that, manipulation of some whales in the market are getting strong and it could really affect the price in all cryptocurrencies.
6716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to invest in BTC? on: January 07, 2018, 03:13:19 PM
Newbie here, I've been wondering when is the best time to buy coins? Is it a good idea to wait for prices to dip a bit or should I buy them as soon as possible to avoid anymore increases in price?
I think that you are late and miss the time in which btc price are in dip. Now btc price are started to climb up, if you buy this it's a little bit expensive but still you have a huge chances to earned. The only thing you have to do after buying is to hold for few days as to generate more profit as it price continuously rising.
6717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin, how can I get started? on: January 06, 2018, 11:42:23 PM
Hey, as you know already from the title, I'm new to Bitcoin, I would like you to help me by telling, where to buy, when to buy, where to sell, when to sell, things like that.
Important: I'm 17 years old, some methods may not work if I don't have 18, and that's what I have noticed.
I hope you can help me get started.  Wink

Edit: Thank you guys, your information is helping a lot, I already have a wallet, feel free to help me Smiley 1KnWzEdJgAmE3rB3Xax8sDfydnikguxrhh
Welcome to crypto world buddy. Since you are new in here and crypto is started many years ago, you probably have a lot of thing to read and learn. Don't think that you can earned money directly with your rank, think first of learning. Hope you won't get tired of back reading and enjoy the moment in cryptoworld.
6718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most reliable and low trx fee currency on: January 05, 2018, 07:55:44 PM
I think ETH Is most reliable and low transactions fee. Ethereum is more reliable then litecoin and BITCOIN CASH.

Are you sure Eth, with delayed transactions and high Gwei. Normally Gwei is $7 now.
Actually, transaction fees of ETH is low but due to a huge numbers of transactions everyday. With that, it will make other people to made some additional payment for them to priorities with their transaction rather than of waiting for a long time with using the normal transaction fees.
6719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: January 05, 2018, 07:34:43 PM
Good day,
Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?
If yes do I need to sell all alts and wait for rising BTC?
What to do now ? I am confused!!!!
As we can see in the market price chart today, mostly all alts are increasing gradually. Is somewhat to be an indications to sell some of it and hold the others.
We can't say bitcoin have a fast recovery from having a big dip but as it grows now, it could be possible that bitcoin price will be heading toward
for that price($20k).
6720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple going to overtake bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 01:16:41 PM
Those days ripple is doing really well, it has more than half of bitcoin market cap and has 19% market dominance.
I hate ripple as a cryptocurrency as it's centralized, now seems that ripple is the queen, not ethereum.

That really is making me upset but I want to hear your thoughts.
It sometimes goes like that, as ripple and any other cryptocurrencies are dependable of the market demand.
And as we knew about market trend of ripple, it could be consider that someday it will be a ripple day. But considering that ethereum is exemplary performer since from the start, still ethereum is on the top among altcoins.
