6721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many years will take that fiat coin will be replaced by cryptocurrency? on: October 28, 2017, 06:39:38 PM
How many years will take that fiat coin will be replaced by cryptocurrency?
DO you think it's possible or not at all? Plz share your opinion:)
If that happens then all the money that the people have in fiat will be worth much less than what they thought.

This will never happen according to me. Primary reason is that even if people embrace the crypto world and invest money into crypto, they will never give up their fiat currencies. We have gotten used to fiat currencies for so long that the thought of giving them up scares us including me. What I feel is that instead of replacing fiat, crypto coins will stand right next to fiat as an alternate payment method.
Come to think off that we do engage on bitcoin we do really need to make profits which means we do want to have fiat money again. This is reality and most bitcoiners or investors do have the same thing on my mind.
Bitcoin replacing fiat is impossible and I don't even put up on my mind on this kind of stuff because I do know that government wont really allow such thing to happen. They would rather create their own token which would be used by their own citizens which is more than realistic to consider and to be think off that they would possibly done such thing.
6722  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to withdraw a small amout of BTC from Yobit? on: October 28, 2017, 05:34:33 PM
Did you say Yobit? To withdraw from that exchange, you first need to pray it works. If prayer doesn't help, you need to plead and beg them to process the withdrawal. And hope someone reads your many open tickets and shows some mercy. This is how it works with Yobit.

If you were hoping the withdrawal will be a straightforward and quick procedure, I have to sadly burst that bubble of hope.

They are ranked high up (if not first) on the list of rogue exchanges.

People do not listen, as much as you give them many warnings they just do not listen

Yobit is a very dangerous exchange they do not care about their customers and unfortunately the customers can not complain when they have some problem because the support of yobit simply does not respond the tickets of support

I didn't know that theres still people who do make use of this exchange.Withdraw small amount? Then you cant because fees will kill you for sure and also converting into altcoin on withdrawing doesn't even guarantee you to go out on that horrible exchange. You would really need players indeed.  Grin If you do successfully go out then never use that exchange again to avoid stressing out yourself.
6723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to secure bitcoin wallet?? on: October 28, 2017, 05:00:27 PM
You can secure your wallet by following some easy steps.
First, use a known wallet and you can find many topics here comparing different wallets.
Secon, keep your private key in a secure place where no one can have access but you.
Next, never open a link from an email without verifying the source of that email. Also, keep your PC clean by using a good antivirus and never download softwares from  untrusted websites.
Always seek out for famous wallets either online web wallet, cold storages,pc wallets. which do have lots of feedbacks and recommendations of the community or commonly being used. Proper research on these things are already available on this forum. Securing your own bitcoin wallet is your full responsibility.Dont expose keys, Avoid random downloading of files which would possibly compromise and infect your pc and also don't trust anyone on online world clicking links would potentially steal up important informations if you are not really aware on the things that surrounds you.
6724  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is it possible to use bitcoin like offline currency? on: October 28, 2017, 04:19:20 PM
Few days ago a friend asked me this questions. But i cannot understanding that how to i give him answer. At last i said him that, bitcoin is an online currency. Only this currency used in online marketplaces. It is not possible to use it in offline marketplace like offline currency.

But what is your best answer of this question?
From the word itself you could already answer that stuff from the wordonline currency then its understandable it is really be used for online transaction knowing that bitcoin doesn't have physical form which can be used on offline just like on local fiats. For now adoption doesn't reach on that state where bitcoin can be used like fiats and I do believe it would just still remain as it is.Bitcoin is solely being created for that purpose. It might be adopted later on but it wont really come to a point to be used offline.Hope this explanation would help you out.
6725  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase upcoming Bitcoin Forks Alert! on: October 28, 2017, 03:22:57 PM
This is the official announcement from Coinbase, there nothing to worry about that. Simply, If you hold BTC in Coinbase at the time these forks happen, they will credit the same amount of each coin. You get the new coin for free, just sell it once you get it.

But i think we should worry about the fact that they also did the same on august first regarding BCH. They made it seem like they'll credit their users asap but they did not. Instead they delayed it for months. Users can't still claim their BCH until now, coinbase said it'll be credit next year. So If you're planning to sell it don't ever store them on coinbase as its highly possible they will just hold it for a long time until the price falls.

My recollection is that they weren't deceptive about the Bitcoin Cash situation. To be fair, the BCH launch was super rushed, and the developers barely implemented replay protection in time for the launch. And I don't really think Coinbase acted as if they would credit users immediately.

This situation is different, though. The BTC1 repository hasn't even changed since August, and is unlikely to change at this point. And Coinbase officially said that they expect to have withdrawals operating smoothly for both coins "within a few days." I don't think they said anything like that with BCH. Coinbase wants B2X to succeed, so they won't make it difficult for users to withdraw it.
It would really be different into this upcoming 2x fork which it wont happen the same thing on those time on BCH. For now Coinbase is somehow ready already for this upcoming fork.It would really depend on a certain user if he would decide to hold up coins on the exchange site wallet and wait for the fork and I do bet those people who do have still issues with BCH will surely withdrawn their funds to more reliable wallet which they do have the full control.
6726  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 Reasons Bitcoin Is Not A Bubble on: October 28, 2017, 02:16:54 PM
The main reason bitcoin is not mainstream yet is because his circulating supply doesn't show the real amount of bitcoins that are in circulation. there are about 4 Milliion lost bitcoins(Estimated), which means that the market cap is not 100M$ as it claims to be, it is much less then that.

Also, bitcoin hasn't gone mainstream yet, and once it goes the price will significantly increase, much more then the levels of 5000-6000$ at the moment.

Bitcoin future is very bright in my opinion.

Lost Bitcoins will not add value to Bitcoin because the missing Bitcoins are not on the market, so they do not create any transaction traffic.
I would say it does affect somehow on bitcoins price knowing that the lesser of the supply the more valuable it would be but would really depend on the demand of bitcoins. The more the higher of the price. Bitcoin isn't a bubble since its a thing that do really have real world usage and new payment innovations which most people do see that this would really be beneficial for their transactions and at the same time this thing do gives an opportunity for us to make money.
No matter how those economist do tell about bitcoin that its a fraud or bubble but yet those words wont really affect us.
6727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sick of ICOS! 99% of them are not worth the investment! Share your opinion ;) on: October 27, 2017, 09:13:45 PM
Hi everybody,
I would like to talk with you about ICOS and how i realised that investing in them it's not a good move anymore.
Here's why : the 99% of ICOS once are over and coins/tokens are listed on exchanges they tend to lose their value reaching the most of the times a lower price than the original ICO price, resulting this way a very bad investment for the ones who actually joined the ICO.
I came to the conclusion that the best thing to do is not to invest in Icos and wait for the coins/tokens to be listed on exchanges and buy them on the very first hours that they are released on the market.
What do you guys think about that? Do u still think that ICOs can be a good investment or you agree with me?
Let me know  Wink

For a lot of ICOs lately then this does seem to be the trend, I think eventually there will be a reversal as people start to pick up on this. There are still some successful ICOs however that are very profitable if you can get in early. The problem is is that a lot of people are only investing in the ICO to try profit short term instead of longer term and then they dump as soon as the coin hits the exchange.

In my opinion the most of dumpers are people who got those coins/tokens by supporting the ICO for bounties.
So people behind ICOs should understand that it is not a good move to reward helpers with tokens of the ICO.
If they reward them with regular coins like bitcoins , ethereum , dash etc... situation would be way different.
They wont do such thing that those coin owners would decide to pay up directly with bitcoin or etherium. Heres the various reason. They wont do such thing because this would signifies that they don't have trust into their own coin.Next one, they cant still be sure if they would able to make money and pay up those expenses that they do pay to the bounty allocation this is why they do always decide to pay up on their own tokens. If the community would decide to adopt it and invest on it then that's the time would give them advantage and talking about bounty hunters you cant blame those ico if they would really put allocation because no one would advertise to them if there would be no bounty to happen.

I agree with you..this is the most plausible way of thinking for ICOs makers but if things keep working this way i will stay in my position and never ever join an ICO again.
Its not actually bad to join into those ICO as long you do know on what you are doing specially on choosing up a particular project. If you did able to see that a certain project do really have the potential then its not bad to risk because we do know if we wont risk nothing we wont gain nothing. Its just like that this is why this ICO investment is really risky not only on ICO but all of investments either online or offline. The sick thing on here is that there are already hundreds of ICO as of now which this would make even more harder to choose which one and I'm not willing to read all those white paper which I do end up on nitpicking according into my interest.
6728  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulation in Kazakhastan on: October 27, 2017, 08:05:36 PM
The central bank of Kazakhstan has submitted proposals to its government to restrict some cryptocurrency-related activities. The central bank’s chairman, Daniyar Akishev, said at a press conference in Astana on Wednesday that this is “to protect the public from speculative risks". Akishev said on Wednesday that the bank and the government are “developing an approach to the issuance and circulation of cryptocurrencies.” This reiterates his statement last week that amendments to the legislation will be developed to regulate them and that currently their legal status has not been determined. But experts  said that bannin mining itself is virtually impossible and does not carry risk for a coutnry.

Mining itself doesn't really carry any risk of a certain country. Why wont they able to realize that stuff.? If the would like to impose on those mining business owners then its possible but I don't think if this law would be implemented most of them will surely hide and mine without noticing on its government. Banning is impossible but they can able to regulate some stuff related to it.
6729  Economy / Securities / Re: LAUNCH OF Anti Crypto Scam dedicated esclusively to report scam and inform on: October 27, 2017, 07:05:57 PM
basically you are a detective, but you only made 2 posts since you created this thread ... so I wonder. How many scammers have stolen since the date you created this thread until today? to answer is: many.

If you want to have a service like this that you intend to create, then you will need to have a great reputation, start by showing work.
This thing would really be tough on tracing out all of the things does he mention knowing that these kind of transactions specially on scam transfers are anonymous.Even a single case will really you took sometime to solve it how much more if he do talk generally all of them? Scam ICO, Magical Project targets or aims are already common nowadays and as an investor we should really obliged our selves to research as careful as we can.Regarding on this idea,i do love it since it do focus on frauds but the question is how it would be done?

6731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes to avoid when starting a crypto? on: October 27, 2017, 02:10:32 PM
I really love and value this forum, good and the bad. I've been a lurker for a while but now feel empowered to move forward with my new project which I will eventually openly discuss on here.

When releasing a new project based coin, what advice would you give a start up before their ICO or coin release? I know a lot is obvious and some can even be found in the search bar in this forum but I'm never to proud to ask, and would love to hear about your favorite coins biggest failures upon release.

My idea isn't original but it will be implemented better and reworked with hopes of becoming the leader in said industry.

The project will be related to the sharing economy, room and lodging, with our own coin. The coin will have a use other than being just a pump and dump, which is where I believe we will stand out.

We will be rolling out our website sometime before the end of the year with the ICO to follow.

Where do ICO's go wrong in your opinion?
If you do see this project to be beneficial and do really have the demand then its up to you if you would strive to develop this one but I would say this is not special at all and do really have a common  or even doesn't have use and we are already seeing some of projects do have the same concept.Im discouraging but better to make a unique one which would really caught communities attention and would really be beneficial.ICO would gone wrong if people don't have interest to put up money on the project. If they wouldn't see anything special then expect on what would be the outcome later on.
6732  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I want to invest $200K to set up an exchange and I need your help on: October 27, 2017, 01:10:06 PM
Oh great, another "Newbie" claiming to have $200k to start an exchange. I will give you a tip - people in the cryptoworld don't trust newbies. Either back your claims with proof or be prepared to be trolled.
Lol I was about saying the same thing, and someone already said so. You want to know why people are into Poloniex ? That’s simple– it’s just because Poloniex is an old exchange and has been there for a long time offering reliable services. So if you think the people will leave a trusted site for a new site, you are just wasting time.

200.000$ and he comes here to ask for help, that is a joke. He needs to be trolled and criticized, and not just OP, others that are "trying to help him" for 50$ if they are in first 10 comments.
One more newbie that claims to have a lot of money, I can't count how many similar topics I saw in all my time spent here, and non of all of them come back ever again here after creating topic. This is one more joke thread, and I don't know what this people who create this profiles just to post this think. Why are they doing this? Collecting free ideas, testing what community thinks about something? What is the point?
The point is "OP just like to add up some stats on his Thread posted." haha. This is why this thread shouldn't really be answered at all and as ive read most comments here are just criticizing and trolling which he do really deserve such thing.$200k investment for a new exchange isn't a bad start but without showing any proofs would really just remain a joke.People would always go into those reputable exchanges than on this new one if he would able to build.
6733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: October 27, 2017, 12:29:41 PM
I just logged into MEW and when check my balance everything except 45 tokens everything else has gone! My wallet was hacked, but where have all my tokens gone?

I am devastated. Has anyone else been hacked how is this possible?

I am not sure what to do! please advice folks.

You can actually check on where those coins of your did go or being transacted. You would able to find the hackers address but knowing on the identity of the owner then its not possible. This kind of situation is common among those people who don't really make safety precautions or tight security on their own private keys. You definitely disclose your private keys into the public which someone did able to know and see that and decide to hack your wallet.Sad to say that those coins are gone because transaction aren't reversible. This would really be a lesson learned for you.
6734  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: brute force electrum seeds on: October 26, 2017, 08:15:36 PM
yes a few people use they seeds
I don't get what you've done here, how did you "brute force" those seeds?
Are they yours and your just spreading FUD, or can you sign a message from each of those wallets to show you've hacked it?

Also, everyone who uses electrum uses seeds (unless they import addresses which isn't recommended at all).
Seeds are required for you to import on new electrum specially if the application or wallet have removed from a pc but yet I cant think off that this would really be possible to be bruteforce. You would still need that wallet.dat for sure not only on having those guessing seed. I do call this stuff as a joke. Bruteforcing those wallet seed 12 words is not really an easy stuff and yet you need those things before you can able to access it and yet op doesn't have any screenshots on what he was trying to claim on here.
6735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hydrominer is making a smart mining farm in Alps on: October 26, 2017, 07:17:44 PM
a. ICO's are altcoin-based and have NOTHING to do directly with Bitcoin.... This is the BTC area where you posted. Bet the Mods move it.
b. Belongs either in Altcoin Speculation or Announcements
c. Most ICO's turn out to be scams or pump-n-dump Ponzi's
Why wont give him a chance? Its just a proposal though but I do somehow agree on the thing that most ICO as of these days turns out to be a scam and already being used now to make easy money.Back into the topic mining with the use of hydro generated electricity would really turn out to be profitable and the only expense on here would really just on the initial part.Building up the entire set-up but yet would depend on the location and the potential capacity of the water source for it to generate the sufficient energy that you do seek on mining operation. It would really be costly.
6736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 06:27:39 PM
There are many factors, such as members of the team and their experience, ammount of supply, price of ICO, transparency and completeness of the information contained in the whitepaper, which make me tust.
today the information is very difficult to analyze, because if you compare those projects in which I participated, then initially there was a positive and very high-grade characteristic of the positive state of affairs. But when it came time to trade and investment, prices fell very low.
This is really indeed happening as of now even no matter how hard you to see those unique projects which you can point out that it has a potential but not anytime we can guarantee that they would able to succeed later on.
This the risk involved always which as an investor I do gradually lost interest on the credibility or on the the belief that we can make easy money on the coins we do suppose to put our money on.
6737  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is the best bitcoin web wallet? on: October 26, 2017, 05:41:17 PM
which bitcoin web wallet lets you transfer bitcoins to a bank account?
Theres no web wallet that can transfer funds other than coins.ph though i dont recommend it and dont want your hope to up high so pick Blockchain.info or mycelium for a bitcoin wallet and if you the right money you can exchange it on the marketplace exchange it on paypal or something that is available on your location though you can also goto the service section to lend some bank account but for those who is reputable only  abd has a higher rank than Sr. Member
There would be always a local wallet provider which would really be preferred on such bitcoin users depending on where they do live in.Regardless on coins.ph this local wallet is really a convenient one which you can actively make buy and sell of bitcoin but one thing I don't like is the spread that they do set out.The gap is too big which short trading or convertions wont really be worth it at all but talking on cash outing and other payment options like buying load and paying up your bills does really give convenience to its users.Best web wallet would vary on the the needs of a certain user.
6738  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: October 26, 2017, 03:41:40 PM
Bitcoin provide anonymous transaction so it can't be trace easily but police still able to track down although they require more resource to find the suspect.
Because of this reason, my government still not legalize bitcoin in order to protect people from corruptor / money laundry etc
They can able to track down the transaction on where those funds go and moved but knowing the identity on such wallet would really be difficult to trace up no matter how you have on those resources that you do mention.
Negative aspects of bitcoin is always there because this is really a good tool for those criminals or people who do have really dirty intentions on making it on illegal stuffs.Dark use would be always there and criminals will surely switch because they know bitcoin is far more better than on those bank or fiat transactions.

6740  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How many phone wallets been hacked? on: October 25, 2017, 11:34:32 PM
Most cases are caused by users who root their phones and try to download random cracked apps from outside the app store. If you do that, the chances to download a android rat are big. Otherwise, it's very difficult to sneak a infected app in the app store without being detected, since they are periodically tested.

And even if they can break through the play store security, there is not much they can do if you are not rooted and don't give the app root permissions. So it's fairly simple to avoid malwares.
This is why I don't really tend up to root my phone. You would really able to use the phone on its full potential since its being rooted but the risk would really be there which it can really weaken phones security and its more prone to be compromised specially if you are an user which do fan of downloading things. As most people are saying here Phone wallet hacks is lesser compared on pc itself. The fact that on just listing it on playstore or any other legit download places will already filter them for any possible malwares or they are already infected and removed them.
