6721  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin fails to bull run on: July 20, 2018, 07:22:06 PM
I see some threads discussing that bitcoin will bull run getting to the end of this year. Guys, what are you going to do if these speculations fail to come to reality and enters next year. Will you still invest in bitcoin?

Of course the best thing you can do is to continue to invest on it because the price is still quite cheap and then waited it out for the next bull run. It doesn't matter if its today or the next year, as long as people understand that eventually, bull run will happen then investors will still continue to flock and pour their money. So its still a win-win situation, imho.
6722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for modification in bitcoin system? on: July 20, 2018, 06:42:14 PM
I am always good with bitcoin so far from its technicalities especially now that i had already familiar with it. Somehow i was also wondering from the moment i joined cryptocurrency and found out some difficulties on it and some doubts on how it works because it looks complicated for the first timer. ANyway is there any possibilities that bitcoin will be modified into simply and friendlly user for the clients?

What difficulties you are encountering that makes you cast doubts on bitcoin?

It was designed that to be complicated or are you digging up on technicalities that it becomes to complicated to you? The wallets are very straight forward and easy to used that even a beginner would have understand it. As far as modifications, on the wallet side, there are a lot of them coming out with design that is very easy to understand. Send and Receive address is there you just have to fill in the gaps. So I don't understand what difficulties you have seen to draw conclusions that modification is needed.
6723  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: July 18, 2018, 08:40:14 PM
This depends on what government it is. If that is a good government who respect freedom, decentralization, or its power is restricted by  its citizens, then it's good. Otherwise, it's very evil.

In the long run, I think regulations will bring a lot of benefits for crypto. People will tend to see it as a legitimate investment portfolio. Right now the overall sentiments of people are still 50/50 in my opinion, at the back of their minds there are still doubts specially with all the negativity surrounding it. Downside is that people will be tax, and we all know that there are individual who put their money to hide from the eyes of the government.
6724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bear days over? on: July 17, 2018, 10:23:07 PM
The Crypto market is changing gear gradually.... Red to Green. Is it what am thinking?

Not just red to green but the price increase today is big. From $6300-$7300 is really impressive and this is the break out run that we all have been waiting for. So we can still salvage this year and it this trend continues we might see around $9K-$10K at the end of the month so the landscape has change just like that and investors confidence are slowly coming back.
6725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still invest on ICO ? on: July 16, 2018, 09:17:14 AM
Guys ,

Do you still believe on ICO or invest ICO even do a lot is scam.

https://www.ccn.com/81-of-icos-are-scams-u-s-losing-token-sale-market-share-report/

Why not?

I guess you really need to do a lot of homework and study the ICO that most interesting to you. Of course there is the chance the you might get screwed up, so perhaps invest what you can afford. So far for me, I haven't been in any scam ICO yet, maybe I'm just lucky. But I just advise everyone used their common sense. Goodluck.
6726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: July 15, 2018, 02:10:10 PM
The market has been down for too long. Do you feel like quitting cryto because you ve lost much?
For me, am a die hard fan of crypto. I will be a coward if i run away. I will stay till the green light shows. What about you?

To be honest, YES, sometimes I felt like quitting because I felt bad seeing my crypto investing going down after a very fruitful 2017. However, if I give up and quit then I will be like a newbie who keeps on bitching around because they don't know how this market works. So everyday I try to be positive that we can overcome the resistance and somewhat make gains slowly so that  at least we won't feel very sad as the day passes by. Perhaps its better to just take break rather than quit at all.
6727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No Bull Run in 2018? on: July 14, 2018, 08:06:02 PM
I think it is too early for us to say whether there will be a bullish sentiment in the cryptocurrency market. In late Summer or Autumn, everyone is waiting for the decision of many countries on the legalization of bitcoin in their countries. Perhaps these news will be strong catalysts in the growth of bitcoin and the entire market. When the state can keep up with the times and organize favorable conditions for crypto-business, large volumes of money will go to the country.

Well we have been struggling for the last 6 months and it may not last for another 6. But I'm still keeping tabs on what's happening on the current an so I say that even though this bearish sentiments seems to go on forever, we only needed one catalyst that will blow open this field again. Maybe news of legalisation of acceptance of new country will provide that needed boost. So we need to be calm and continue to do our thing until such time arrived that will reverse this current sentiments.
6728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New beginning of altcoins ? on: July 14, 2018, 07:38:35 PM
As we are witnessing the current crypto market trend as it's going through a rough ride and I feel this is a year of correction to correct the price of altcoins as there are some altcoins which were overpriced and similarly there were altcoins which were underpriced and I believe this year everything will be sorted and market will be more streamlined.

Possible.

We can even label them as bubble that has been burst already. But the thing with crypto is that even if we know that its been pop, people are still willing to pour their cash and make a lot of money, but simply pumping it again and hope that others will ride the waves. So even if see correction, sooner or later the price will be overprice again so I don't think that it will be the new beginning, for me it will be cyclical in nature.
6729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: July 14, 2018, 06:59:34 PM
Would you believe thesame Bill Gates made this statement on YouTube:
"Nobody Can Stop Bitcoin!" -
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XG9qnSYyXDk

I have few theories why he and some other well known Bitcoin enthusiasts changed their minds all of a sudden. I am not posting them yet until I am above 50% sure.

Yes, I have seen that before. As to why they changed their mood?

1. Maybe they see it as a perceived threat to their stocks investment. Those people pouring cash on their stocks might dump it in favour of crypto that's why they realised that it will have adverse effect on them.

2. They are late and might have been the boat specially last year when bitcoin grows astronomically.

3. Bill Gates might be creating his own crypto using the same technology behind bitcoin, Blockchain.

That's all I can think of that might change their mind and suddenly attacking bitcoin and crypto in general.
6730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be careful using cryptocurrency on: July 13, 2018, 12:31:56 PM
<snip>

What is your point here?

1. You can exchange your crypto-to-fiat. Now you can used it as currency. Lol. I agree that there's still not lots of merchants accepting bitcoin as mode of payment. But I'm optimistic that we see crypto as the main currency to buy things online and send remittances in a global scale.

2. Not worth investing? Fluctuations is the norm in crypto market. If you are here to make quick money, then yeah, its not for you. Better look for other options. But if you know how to play price swings on your favor, then it has the potential to make you money.

3. As investors, I don't think that you will just put your hard earn money in crypto. Of course you have to learn and understand it because you make your first investments. That's true for any other investment platform. Again, is someone is dumb enough to just invest on something you don't understand, then its your fault and not the market.
6731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big market crash has started? on: July 13, 2018, 11:46:23 AM
It is difficult to get out of the downtrend for bitcoin. and once we were worried that bitcoin has approached the price of $ 10,000 and may fall below. And now it is difficult for us to overcome the threshold of 7000 dollars. But if the whales want all these levels we can overcome in a few days.

For me it will be a struggle to get out of this bear sentiments unless the whales started to pump the market again. And as we are all aware of, altcoins follows bitcoin trend so the market really suffer as a result of bitcoin's price fall.

And another thing that I'm watching is the good news that might sway and influence investors, but so far I don't see anything coming, not unless LN suddenly gets implement this year and push the price to at least 5 digits again.
6732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto money on: July 13, 2018, 11:18:45 AM
The future of the crypto currency is gradually getting brighter with the number of companies interested in developing it. people from all over the world also know the crypto currency and invest in it, and also the more sophisticated and complete blockcain technology makes people more trust with crypto currency
It is just a matter of time that crytocurrency will have a mainstream usage. It is being accepted and utilized in other countries and many more are following. It looks like crypto is having a bright future
Of course, the market is still quite young, and there is still not enough money in the crypto currency, when large investors will come to the market, then the future will appear, and the crypto currency will be regulated.

Yes, I agree that the market is still young and we can even says that it is still in its infancy and more people around the world are not aware what bitcoin and crypto are, but it doesn't mean that it will not bring any good in the future.

We have just started to conquer the world and once its goes mainstream, when people started to realize the potential of what crypto could bring to them, it will just  be a matter of time when it exploded in the future.
6733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: July 11, 2018, 10:28:48 PM
It's better to earn real tokens, not fake ones as most of these ICO's are scams and they promise in any method to scam people. I joined so many Airdrops, bounties, but only 2 to 3 paid me and they were in less price. I wasted my time by promoting them on Social media sites.
I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.

Airdrops is no longer profitable as compare to last year. Now, there are a lot of fake and scam projects so airdrops are completely useless and no value. But I still remember last year wherein airdrops are really profitable regardless of your rank. So its really better to research first the project that you are promoting so that you will not get frustrated at the end. But give up now? I don't think so, there are a lot of opportunities out there, you just need to used your common sense and do your homework so that your effort will not be wasted.
6734  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: July 09, 2018, 04:09:25 AM
As we all know, stock market had been there for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a fast rising trend when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with stock market and play it safe.
In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?

Much riskier in crypto if you are going to compare it with stocks. And others argue that stocks are safe because its centralize. But stocks are not doing good either, its also fluctuates just like the crypto market so you will have to mitigate your risk as well.

You will notice also that those big stocks investors like Warren B. doesn't like crypto market because its very volatile. However, its the volatility that makes people fell in love with it, because the road to success is just around the corner, unlike stocks that it might takes years for you to make huge gain.
6735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet on: July 09, 2018, 03:44:35 AM
Do you think Coinbase is the best wallet yet ? Any other that could top coinbase?

You sure about that? Have you tried wallets that you can have total control because you held the the private keys? I haven't used Coinbase wallet though, but I think you don't hold the private keys so once the hackers get into Coinbase I'm pretty sure that all your crypto will be gone in as instant. I suggest you go here : https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet, and see other options that might help you mitigate the risk of losing your coins in the future. Goodluck.
6736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now or later? on: July 08, 2018, 06:59:46 PM
Dear friends. Newbie here. Tell me, is it true that the bitcoin for a few days/weeks will be able to achieve cost 20000$? A lot of people writes about it. Is it profitable to buy bitcoin now or is it better to wait still?

In the fall, before the strong growth of bitcoin, I already advised my friend to buy bitcoin once and he did not regret it. Will my advice be relevant now?

From my personal point of view the price of bitcoin will remain volatile for quite some time and therefore we will continue to see these big corrections since the market is still very new and still needs a lot to reach the necessary maturity to be less volatile, but I am convinced that this year we will see prices well above $20,000, and the most conservative expectations see it around $30,000 this year, so your investment advice to your friends is very good.

I know that everyone is very bullish about bitcoin. However, its really hard to say if we are going to cross $20K because we have been struggling since the beginning of the year and price fall from $19K to $6K.

What we should do is just continue to monitor the price. Currently the price this week has been steady at around $6500++, which indicates that investors are not panic selling and more and holding right now and this is not a dead cat bounce as others might have speculate. If you crossed $7K then it might be a start of break out run. So conservative estimates would be around $10K-$15K. If we got to a new all-time-high then it will be a big bonus.
6737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uzbekistan implements blockchain and will develop cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2018, 01:37:56 PM
On 3rd of July the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzieev signed resolution measures to develop digital economy
Source link Read article in English . Good news from Central Asia

Looks like everyday we have been hearing lots of positive news around the world taking advantage of crypto and blockchain technology. I'm not aware how big the Uzbeks in terms of their involvement in crypto but this news might sway some of them to try and invest and see how it goes for them and I'm sure that they will like what they see when their economy turn for the better. Crypto is really conquering all corners of the globe and its just a matter of time before we can see 90% of all country being pro-crypto.
6738  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors continue to invest in crypto-currency on: July 05, 2018, 06:19:57 AM
Of course there's no question that investors are willing to pour their cash on the market even though that there are many scams ICO and even if the crypto market is on the bearish sentiments. Willing to risk and make more money is their ultimate goal. But I believed that most investors tend to mature already and not just investing left and right just like 2017. Now they scrutinized ICO and if they found that its something fishy then they skip and go on the next because there are a lot of ICO being born every minute.
6739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future in India on: July 05, 2018, 05:32:38 AM
The Indian government has restricted trading of crypto in India. It's not banned though but the local exchanges have figured out the method to trade using p2p mechanism. So, what do you guys think will it have an impact on the whole crypto market?

I estimate that it will have a impact but we don't know how huge its gonna be. Remember that there are a lot of Indian investors as well and it was reported that they have poured millions if not billions worth of USD on the market. So the recent Supreme Court's decision to upholds RBI's will have a impact definitely. But we still have to wait because bitcoin is still making a good run even though this negative news was in the crypto related websites in the last couple of days.

Indian Supreme Court Heard Crypto Petition but Upholds RBI Ban – Effective in 2 Days

Quote
The Indian Supreme Court heard one petition against the crypto banking ban by the country’s central bank today. However, the court did not grant a stay and the ban is set to proceed as planned, prompting crypto exchanges in the country to start implementing their solutions for banking alternatives.

It seems that Indian Supreme court uphold the RBI banning so its not a welcoming news specially for our Indian crypto enthusiast. However, hope is not lost as there will be another hearing on July 20 by four other petitioners.
