6721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Bitcoin owners? on: July 05, 2018, 10:04:35 AM
How many celebrities or high profile individuals do you know of that owns and support Bitcoin? I think if we can get some high profile users, we might get some good exposure going forward.
Personally, I don't think attaching faces of celebrities/personalities to bitcoin will give it a boost. It's good the way it is already that no particular person controls it. This was a reason I so hated what John McAfee was doing with his pump and dump group because of his status a lot of people trusted his judgement and followed him sheepishly. Attaching a known face to bitcoin will make investing in it a personality controlled investment and that's not going to be good.
6722  Economy / Speculation / Re: 8 of the richest btc addresses logged in at the same time on: July 05, 2018, 08:59:54 AM
Every little thing seems to make a headline nowadays once bitcoin is mentioned. I am still in bemusement as to why it should even draw our attention in the first place that a particular address suddenly becomes active. Do we need to monitor every move anybody makes? I find this most sickening. I think we should concentrate on more progressive things on the way forward for cryptocurrency, rather than all these idle monitoring and talks. Sorry, I don't mean to be offensive here but just saying it the way it is.
6723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines as the first country in asia to regulate and accept cryptocurrency.. on: July 04, 2018, 04:27:10 PM
Oh My Gawd! Does that mean the shit posting population on the forum is going to increase exponentially? Imagine the situation now and compare it to what happens once the entire country wants to join bounty and signature campaigns.
Yes, that means your job specification here in fending off spammers even as a campaign manager has doubled   Shocked You deserve all the job!

Honestly, this piece of development is a good one for the poor Filipino community here. They all should be in a glee.

Jokes apart, it's a good news but it would be sad for the bounty hunters to pay taxes. You haven't mentioned the tax part which I believe will be applicable once it's regulated.
Ugh! Please don't spoil the reggae with that tax reminder. Let the Filipinos enjoy their moment of joy.
6724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] Unboxed bounty Campaign on: July 03, 2018, 12:58:13 PM
I know the OP brought this here to gain more exposure for their project. Isn't this supposed to be at the Altcoins section if the project isn't paying in bitcoin?
6725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the bull run of Bitcoin began? on: July 02, 2018, 03:40:16 PM
While we expect a push upward, it will be too early to have a celebration that the bull run has begun. I think we should wait for the daily candle to close above the 25SMA the way it is right now for us to begin to draw any feeling of a bull run. Presently the bitcoin price is around $6,600+. Let's hope it remains this way till the end of today and that will be glad tidings for an upward reversal. Until then I would like to believe is a false move.
6726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook revoked the ban on Cryptocurrency ads. What is the impact on Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2018, 08:01:12 PM
I didnt see any crypto ads in facebook even before the ban+dont expect that people will enter the crypto world
From facbook because people are not in facebook for usful reasons
Really? You didn't see any crypto adverts on Facebook pre-ban? Dude I hope you arent from outer space

Is this true there was no major news report about this can you back this up with a link, this is interesting I'm sure this will benefit bitcoins in the long term. People had left as social media boycotted it, and they were scared and this will indeed boost customer confidence in them. This kind of news normally always make more impact in the long run.
The news is true but the ban on ICOs still remains unrevoked.

As for the impact, Mark Zuckerberg and his Facebook crew will feel it first in company Revenue surge than the general crypto market will. It's about the Benjamins. The drastic drop in revenue made Facebook take a detour.
6727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2018 the year when crypto goes mainstream on: June 29, 2018, 03:55:48 PM
Is 2018 that year when blockchain crypto goes mainstream?
No! 2018 is that year that sent so many weak hands to their early graves with so many financial expectations of lambos dashed. Always remember this...
6728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction or Depression on: June 29, 2018, 02:05:13 PM
At this stage the market is, it's very difficult to maintain that what we have now is a correction. This is beneath correction. It's looking more like the investors are depressed and do not want to throw in more money into the industry. Many of us are already losing confidence in the market and that is perpetuating more decline. It's a depression.
6729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Private on: June 29, 2018, 01:19:42 PM
Do you know that Verge was called Dogecoin Dark before changing it's name? And after the chage of name it had great success . This project looks good , but it would be better to have it's own blockchain .
This is a very sensible comment. I too was pissed off when I saw the title but decided to read comment anyway. Any coin named or tagged "doge" will always give out a negative meaning given how poorly dogecoin has performed so far in the market. Perhaps OP should rename his coin.
6730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin dominance is it the END ? on: June 29, 2018, 08:18:33 AM
https://prnt.sc/j8ij29
as we can see the bitcoin dominance is getting lower and lower and  i think on long term ethereum will end the dominance
Ethereum is not treasured enough to overpower bitcoin in dominance. You might as well be looking at Litecoin instead. Quite alright the dominance of Bitcoin is dwindling and this should be expected as more cryptos have come into the market. There are many crypto options to choose from now and that explains why bitcoin is losing grip.
6731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: June 29, 2018, 06:09:32 AM
OP, I wouldn't use the word coward. Greed would suffice as a better word for description. It's really sad how investors want quick and easy return on investments. They easily forget that most of these penny coins will get into dollar coins within a few years. We should begin to long at long term and buy the dip now. With patience, huge profits will be made from these penny stocks.

Gambling or 1000% profit is 5 years will end the world economy/money supply. There has to be sales for profits. Production (factories, farms, mining etc..) leads to sales and money supply creation/wealth, knowledge
What are you blabbing about. I don't get it with your comment on the OP. It's a bit disjointed, to be mild with language.
6732  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of worlcup 2018. BTC will be down to $ 2k. on: June 28, 2018, 05:15:27 PM
"The end of worlcup 2018. BTC will be down to $ 2k."

Worlcup for world cup, right? And you are here trying to FUD, right? Oh, come on we have had enough adrenaline running through our blood to warrant more. Let's have some positive news, please.
6733  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: June 28, 2018, 12:48:22 PM
I want to learn about being professional trader. I want to search and read some articles but I don't know whatelse.
What I read so far is about how to read candlestick. And I learn how to read indicator but I just learn it by myself.
So what articles to read? If you have some suggestion, please share here. I don't ask for the articles to read, I just ask for some clue what to learn
Reading and researching alone won't make you a successful trader. You need to have sufficient practicals and hand on real trade. Like the saying goes, Practice makes Perfect. Trading is an emotional thing and traders must have a good control of their emotions to be successful. One can only master this control when one does real life practice. So, to be a professional trader the OP needs to have enough practice with real money on trade.
6734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: June 28, 2018, 10:07:26 AM
An equally large attack surface offer individual mistakes that can easily be prevented. Individual mistakes are the responsibility of individual users and are often:
- insufficiently secured user accounts due to weak passwords
- Login on a phishing site
- send the private keys to a scammer
The first mistake that has to do with "insufficiently secured user accounts due to weak passwords" can be anybody's but the other two are mistakes of carelessness and stupidity. Everyone has to make sure you are on the right site before logging in. That's why it's advisable to save the site on home scree or bookmark it. And then the private keys to someone else? That's laughable.

People, keep your coins safe. Guard your security.
6735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need to hold altcoins on: June 28, 2018, 09:33:41 AM
Not hodling altcoins in addition to bitcoin is analogous to taking one's meal without taking water to push it down. That's the way I see this. Yes, quite alright altcoins rely on bitcoin to push or recline on price. But that doesn't mean one can't hit it big just hodling altcoins. Most altcoins have been known to have even given more dividends than Bitcoin.
6736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency you peffer in June-2018 ? on: June 28, 2018, 08:50:10 AM
I am new and small investor. It's very difficult to a currency which can back me more. Please guide me to choose few currencies.
By "Peffer" you mean Piffer or Prefer? I guess you are a third level speaker of the English Language. So, I take it to mean "Prefer"

However, whatever option you decide to go with from the numerous suggestions made you here should be backed by your own input and research. DYOR is the caveat you should observe. Don't take everything you get here hook, line and sinker.
6737  Economy / Services / Re: Nexybit Hybrid Exchange Signature Campaign on: June 28, 2018, 07:45:47 AM
Not only that I also say thank you, because our payment has been added from 0.0006 BTC/post to 0.00013 BTC/post, WOW this's amazing.
Is the quoted an improvement or what as you are in awe? Go do your calculation. It's not. I think the problem some posters have is that they don't even do their reward calculation before applying. OP, your pay rates are abysmally poor. That means my rank should be getting 0.0039 in payment for 30 posts. That's really poor.
6738  Economy / Economics / Re: The Mysterious Chinese Bitcoin Whale Hoarded 94,000 BTC on: June 28, 2018, 04:44:24 AM
First off, the word "Hoarding" is accurately wrong in cryptocurrency. The right word should be HODL. Si, what really is the point here? A man can't HODL his coins in peace anymore and wait for the ripe price to offload? I ain't get this.

Chinese or not, the sixth largest or not, there's nothing wrong in that.
6739  Economy / Speculation / Re: TETHER 'PRINTED' 250,000,000 USD, WILL BITCOIN PRICE RISE? on: June 27, 2018, 04:18:43 PM
I don't see why that has got anything to do with Bitcoin more than other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin isn't the only crypto tethered. So, why is bitcoin singled out to benefit from that increase is what beats me. Pumping so much as 25million tether into the market may even crash the price of tether beyond recovery. I don't think this is in a way good.
6740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Shall not we swim opposite to the current of the river to become winner. on: June 27, 2018, 03:49:41 PM
The situation you just described is called FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) in crypto parlance. It's in human nature to always join the crowd and follow the bandwagon whether what is done is good or not. People like to watch for price to move before buying into any crypto. This is a wrong practice. Investors are supposed to buy when others are afraid to buy. And now is the right time to do so as the market is bearish. It is advisable to swim against the tide. Buy now, people!
