6741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need bitcoin control? on: November 08, 2018, 04:08:30 PM
In the foreseeable future, each developed country will create its own crypto currency, provided by the national currency.

How much can this contradict the very idea of Bitcoin as a free, decentralized system?

Need cryptocurrency state control?

No I don't think so all countries already have their own fiat currency, why will they make a new currency in the age of online wallets I don't think it's needed. Now let's assume in the future all countries suddenly create their own cryptos, it'll be given thumps down by the public and outrightly rejected by the public, cause it'll be a centralised coin, and will be regulated and open to manipulation. I think few countries, and some football clubs created thier coins and have got luke warm responses to it.

Problem with Bale is that he is always injured. He is asking for change during game even
Hazard will decide about his future Chelsea is giving him very good money
He told i will think and decide i am staying good in Chelsea

Looks like Bayern will buy Pavard from Stuttgart
Last is Cavani back to Napoli but Napoli is short with money

There're constant rumours of Bale coming to Manchester United or PSG as financially only these two can afford him, Chelsea and Manchester City could put up a financial package, but I doubt about it they will spend on him. As a Manchester United fan I do not wish to see bale in the team, we're already having one flop Sanchez who's being paid the highest wages at the club and he doesn't even deserves to be in the starting line up.

Bale problems is his ego, he's never bothered to fully remain fit, he can't be the man to fill Ronaldo shoes, I like Real Madrid, and if a decent offer comes in sell him  Hazard or Neymar.
6743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 08, 2018, 02:59:16 AM
I just leave this photo here:

Juventus dominated today totally, but it was enough for United to play something similar to football in last 10 minutes to win this game. Mourinho football at it's finest.
And what a performance by Manchester City - 6:0 against Shakhtar. They managed to beat quite decent team in amazing style without important players like Aguero and de Bruyne. But stilll, one of penalties was ridiculous, good that there will be VAR in UCL next season.

Jose was just showing off some respect to Juventus fan, he was hearing them moan about how could they loose they had Ronaldo playing for them, it seems the era of come back kings is back. Manchester City are playing on another level, and I would make them top contenders for a treble this season, Liverpool and Tottenham may loose out on the qualification if they don't win their remaining matches.
6744  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🎲 BITDICE - Wager Competition - 2 BTC Prize Pool - BTC/ETH/LTC/DOGE/CSNO 🎲 on: November 07, 2018, 12:27:31 PM
About a week left in the wager competition. Leader still has 61.5 BTC wagered, 2nd place 10 BTC, 3rd 5 BTC. Contest is still still way +EV.

If you have any questions I'm here to answer them.

Indeed each and every spot is yet available and is very much reachable, I'm sure these last few days will be pretty interesting. In my experience most people always wait towards the end to topple down the top users, so I'm sure the competition is just going to heat up, but I feel one should take a head start and try to be on top from now as only few days are left.
6745  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC November 5th on: November 07, 2018, 10:02:16 AM
Honestly, I have not heard that the SEC decision will be today.

5 November was only the deadline for public comments. Sometime after that date SEC will come to a decision.
Also, it's not about the VanEck/SolidX ETF, it's about the 9 ETFs (Direxion, GraniteShares, ProShares) they rejected and then decided to re-review them.

I was one of those who fell for the trap of believing that it was 5th of November when Sec would declare the fate of those 9 ETFs, I was way to excited to read the fine print. Well now that time for public comments has passed away I think it'll take few weeks till we hear from the Sec, I believe the sentiments from the public has been positive but my question is will it be enough to change Sec initial verdict.
6746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin ATM Is Coming at a Location Near You??? on: November 07, 2018, 07:03:59 AM
this is a very good idea and will certainly be easy for everyone to access, but unfortunately this will be difficult to realize in my country because my country has not legalized bitcoin, it will not happen in the near future it still takes time.

While on paper this idea really looks nice, it's very difficult to implement it in reality I'll discuss here why. Let's begin with the most common one, Regulations not all countries have regulated it, and they'll certainly not allow such an ATM. Now coming to transaction time, we all know sometimes it takes ages to confirm how will that be fixed. Last but not the least who is going to be making these ATMs, considering there're so many frauds people will prefer only legit companies.
6747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: November 06, 2018, 05:40:06 PM
Shocked

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/2018/11/04/floyd-mayweather-rizin-fighting-federation-fight/1888917002/

Floyd Mayweather, the 41-year-old undefeated boxing legend, is scheduled to fight on New Year's Eve in Japan in the Rizin Fighting Federation, the MMA promotion announced at a press conference Monday in Tokyo (Sunday night in the United States).

Mayweather, who was present at the press conference, will take on 20-year-old kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at the Saitama Super Arena.

At this point, though, it's not very clear what this fight will look like. Ariel Helwani of ESPN reported that "Everyone I’ve talked to said they’d be shocked if it’s MMA."

Mayweather himself expressed a similar sentiment.

"We'll talk about that, we'll get that situated within the next couple weeks," Mayweather said when asked at the press conference about the fight's weight class and the rules.

"We're giving the people something they've never seen before," Mayweather went on to say.

"As far as the weight class, we're not really worried about that. When it's all said and done, it's all about me going out there displaying my skills against another skillful fighter. So we both want to go out there and display our skills and give people excitement"

Nasukawa, Mayweather's opponent, is himself a perfect 27-0 in kickboxing competition.

When we last saw Mayweather in action, he was defeating UFC star Conor McGregor in "The Money Fight" to move his boxing record to 50-0.

When Mayweather says we'll give the world something they haven't seen before, only one thing comes to my mind the huge amount of money that guy is going to make out of this match, it's a new year fight, those big commercials are coming, and I don't think this will be an interesting fight. It's pertinent to note at 41 Mayweather is not younger and his opponent is a 20 year old champion, so I feel it's a oneside Mayweather winning it, who's playing on this match?
6748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 06, 2018, 02:01:05 PM
My boys LFC travel to Belgrade to take on Red Star tonight, we battered them at Anfield but they’ll be a different animal at home. Hopefully we can overcome the atmosphere there, it’s supposed to be really, really hostile over there.

Check this out - https://youtu.be/vGQRg88nCqg

They haven’t lost at home for over a year, can we do it? I think yes!

This match will be very hostile but interesting too considering the fact that Liverpool had to drop Shaqiri, to protect him from the hostile reception which was planned for him. I feel Liverpool will end up on the top, they're a powerhouse, and that attacking power will be very tough to handle.
I have like 10 bets for today but there are 3 main ones , today I'm taking double chance for 3 underdogs : Inter , Napoli and Dortmund
I believe there is value in DC for all of these teams , all of them playing solid soccer and all of them are motivated to win today so I see no point backing the favorites in these games
Barcelona played great against Real but I believe the classico is always an exception and we may see Barca suffering without Lionel
we saw how Napoli almost won their last game against PSG , they have the winning spirit and they should be fighting today as well
Dortmund is also a solid team and they won 4-0 last game , if they play their average game they should be able to at least draw but anyways I still believe AM is overrated by the bookies for today

I'm feeling envy of you, for the fact you're able to place 10 bets on a go, but I'll agree your taking some well calculated bets. Napoli should be able to beat PSG as they're yet to function as a unit, Dortmund is playing really attractive football, no reason to see why they won't win. I feel Barcelona are actually performing better without Messi and Squarez is a beast on the ground, so I would expect them to win, good luck for your bets.
6749  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitex head: bitcoin price may drop to $2000 on: November 06, 2018, 11:34:00 AM
And while you are afraid of buying little by little, these punks are taking advantage of the low prices for themselves. If a projected 75% from $9000 ranges was really a possibility, it could have happened earlier this year, right after the ATH blew off since everyone wanted to get out of the sinking ship. Also, we have tested several times the lower ebbs of $5000 but to no avail, only to end up stopping @ $5700 before the skid stopped and the buy backs went through. Most 'experts' think that the lowest point is $3000-$4000 in this cycle, but it's been months now and nothing is really happening.

I'll second this thought process while people are afraid of burning their hands, these guys are accumulating for the long run as they're anticipating a bull run. If you'll see right from the start of the year bitcoins never went down past 5k, and I don't see it ever going below that level, in fact now it's formed a new resistance between 6k to 6.3k which I feel if it maintains it can touch high levels soon.
6750  Economy / Speculation / Re: Novogratz making predictions again hehehe on: November 06, 2018, 07:51:03 AM
Its all publicity. Basically every prediction he makes, whether bull or bear, will get him featured in many articles and he will get free advertising for his business pretty much.

All his predictions in my opinion seem like common sense however. Last month or so, BTC was acting very bearish and I agreed with his bear prediction. His newest prediction now, I also agree with. Seems like the $6K held again and it looks like we might be headed and maybe break $10K next year sometime.

Nobody however should take his trading advice seriously, its mostly for entertainment purposes.

I'm surprised that the mainstream media yet entertains this guy, I have never followed his advice, and I would advise all to stay away from his advices. I'll agree to your view, but those are common advices which even a newbie can make once he sees the way prices behave so I don't think he deserves any credit. I have always seen following these self proclaimed gurus often backfires, and it's only matter of time before he comes out and changes his words.
6751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan just gave its cryptocurrency industry legal power to police itself on: November 06, 2018, 03:45:28 AM
i think its a good move from japan govt.these changes will boost bitcoin and i can see japan is really a crypto user frndly country who supporting crypto and its technology.at last i will congrats to japans crypto community its your victory.

While it's good to see Japan has decided to give the power to the people who actually know the industry, it's too early to say will the regulations help the adoption of bitcoins in the country. It's pertinent to note that these regulations will definitely make the exchanges safe, but I'm not sure how they'll prevent fraudulent transactions which is a menace, and if they're able to successfully implement it I'm sure other countries shall follow suit.
6752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will PayPal start accepting bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 05:58:07 PM
I'm a little confused by this statement. I also think Paypal can accept bitcoin later, because paypal is not a local bank located in every country, paypal will still benefit from this, they only serve transactions every year. But I am a little doubtful about that

Hey PayPal will never accept bitcoins, if you're not aware PayPal has something called chargebacks which means a buyer can ask for his money back, and seller is helpless and has to comply. On the other hand bitcoins transactions are irreversible, besides that PayPal complies with each and every central bank rules hence they'll never risk their services by accepting bitcoins.
6753  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC November 5th on: November 05, 2018, 02:03:46 PM
SEC will close the comments on CBOE ETF on November 5th, after this day they can reject, postpone or deny the ETF, in your opinion what will happen? if the ETF is rejected BAKKT will be able to push the prices up?, we have to keep in mind that the SEC is still analyzing all rejected ETFS again, is that a good sign? The next 3 months are the most important in the history of Bitcoin and it can start a new Bull Run, I'm almost having a stroke with this novel, Bitcoin more than 10K until December? share yours thoughts.

The big day is here and like everyone I'm holding my breath for the announcement to be made by Sec in regards to bitcoins etf. As much as I would love to see an approval coming, I'm sensing it might not be approved after all, bitcoins prices have been sluggish in the build up, there's hardly any voices in the community sounding confident on it's approvals. I do feel that Bakkt has the potential to impact the market prices, however it'll need time to do so.
6754  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲🎲 BITDICE - Wager Competition - 2 BTC Prize Pool - BTC/ETH/LTC/DOGE/CSNO 🎲🎲 on: November 05, 2018, 10:25:10 AM
For those who are possibly confused, the leaderboard seen on site resets weekly and thus it looks like this now:

Akbar12 is still in lead with 61.48 BTC wagered. You can click "Show Current" on the leadeboard tab and calculate current positions if you like. We'll try to get stats for the competition for everyone to see. I'll notify here with updates though.

I'll agree this could create confusion in the minds of people who have recently joined or will be joining to take part in the competition, and also stay back to gamble on the site post the competition. I thinks it's a good call clarifying this, as all will now know which are the current stats, and which are the weekly stats.

It looks like very attractive !
I have a jackpot project too, Pipot - a Bitcoin Price Predict Game
Please take a look if you are interested https://pipot.io/#/ Grin

Hey if you like the site join in and participate, but avoid spamming in this thread.

Latest Transfer News:
AC Milan has reportedly obtained a personal agreement with L.paqueta from the Flamengo club.
possible deal 80%

Juventus reportedly reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to transfer Dybala
possible deal 55%

It's good to know Ac Milan is close to sealing the deal, after their aweful start to the season I was expecting them to dip in the January market for reinforcements. I'm surprised Juventus is even considering selling Dybala that's a wrong move, Ronaldo has got at max two more season to offer, but Dyabala can offer them a lot, we saw in these weeks match too, I feel Bayern are getting a classy player, also Bayern are very close to getting Ramsey it'll be interesting to see whether the deal will be completed in Jan or end of the season.
6756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Impacts Crypto had in your life on: November 04, 2018, 02:11:07 PM
Hey everyone!  Grin

I am a Newbie here and I have read many articles and follow many Crypto-Related businessman and how their life changed big way after crypto. I believe many people in this forum also has experienced a life changing after investing.

Could you share your experience about what has changed in your life after start investing in order to motivate who is starting the journey ?

Hey each one of us here had mixed experiences with cryptos, I'll share my life changing experiences with you. I was able to quit my job, go on that dream vacation, bought myself an IPhone X and other gadgets. While I didn't sell when it was at its peak I don't have any regrets, overall I had a decent experience with cryptos, and majority of my experience is associated with bitcoins.

The only tip I can give is buy and hodl bitcoins at every dips, do not let the short term term fluctuations effect your judgement good luck ahead.
6757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My experience in cryptocurrency so far on: November 04, 2018, 12:05:44 PM
I have an mixed experience in cryptocurrency. I like cryptocurrency online money transaction facility, which is innovative and user friendly. Cryptocurrency user provide its user an safe, secure and fast transaction facility and this thing also charge low transaction cost. This thing really help me. Cryptocurrency also help me in international money transaction and exchange. And the thing i hate most of cryptocurrency is its volatile nature because of this l loss a large amount of money at cryptocurrency  investment.

Hey everyone has mixed experiences regarding cryptos while I like the innovation and technology I do hate the fact that scammers use it to loot newbies, as one knows you cannot reverse a payment in bitcoins. I do understand that volatility can be a big issue with all, however I feel that's what makes it quiet unique, and it would take the shine of cryptos if it were stable. In the end I would like to say I'm having a positive impact in my life thanks to cryptos, and for all I would say hodl for the long term is the key.
6758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: between terrorists, banks and crypto on: November 04, 2018, 09:18:26 AM
We heard that crypto is often used for terrorist funding, but according to IOCTA in 2018, such an assumption is wrong.

Today, the popularity of Bitcoin is getting better, but the relationship with terrorist funding, they prefer the classic method of transferring through banks.

so, terrorist groups that use bitcoin are only low level transactions.

This is very true you can't expect terroists to adopt bitcoins when most of them don't even know how to use internet, plus where will they spend such big amounts without getting noticed, they have and always have preferred banks. This rhetoric of terrorists using bitcoins was spread by banks to clamp down the adoption of bitcoins, but they have failed spectacularly, because now people are adopting bitcoins and soon its adoption rate shall grow.
6759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: November 04, 2018, 06:29:50 AM
For Manny Pacquiao age is just a number being a 39 years old he has the balls to fight a younger fighter like Broner, Pacquiao's previous fight from Mattheyese he still in good fighting condition regardless of his age. For this upcoming fights, Manny Pacquiao is still the crowd's favorite not just for his fighting skills but his charms to the boxing fans.

I'll agree age is just a number for Pacquioa his form is permanent, even at this age he's hungry, and always looking to win each and every match. While Broner has some class to, I don't think of him as a pushover, and I believe he'll offer some tough competition too, but like the crowd Pacquioa is my favourite to win this bout. It'll be interesting to see if it'll end in a knockout.
6760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 03, 2018, 05:02:51 PM
this season will be a more competitive season than last season. Liverpool, Man City, and Chelsea made a good start. Tottenham and United may be eliminated for the title race, but for the last 4 they are still competing with the arsenal.

I'll agree Manchester United started slowly, but the last two games including the game today shows they yet have what it takes to finish in top four. I was surprised in the first half by the performance of the cherries, but Manchester United bounced back spectacularly and finally won the match, once again Martial and Rashford to the rescue, what's strange is Lukaku is being dropped. I really liked the way we won like old times when Red Devils were known as come back kings.
