6761  Economy / Services / Re: [? SLOTS OPEN] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: February 02, 2020, 10:55:11 AM
For now, I'm mostly satisfied with where the campaign is at currently. I might still accept a few more people in the near future (definitely someone active in Pilipinas) and will fill slots from applications that have already been made. If you do not wish to be considered, please delete your application post.
Because of this, I will expect that more of our countrymen will be active in our local section because only a few people are posting there and interacting with each other Sad.
(Assuming that some Philippinian Bros will apply here Cheesy)

Northport should not only rely on the starters but they also have to improve their 2nd unit.
I think they already have a good roster.
~
It is a decent team to be honest but if you want to win a championship, at least get better players than their bench right now. They can only contribute if they are red hot but they can't contribute that much when it comes to defensive stops. One problem too in their roster is they don't have a legitimate 2nd Center in their bench. Their current center isn't that familiar to me.

What I noticed in the previous conference, both Christian Standhardinger and Sean Anthony are playing with heavy minutes and that is not good as they might run out of gas in the 4th quarter. Northport should not only rely on the starters but they also have to improve their 2nd unit.
This is one of their problems. If you will remember the time where CStan played more than 60 mins against the NLEX (I think it was Game 3 of Commissioners Cup). I'm not saying that CStan isn't a reliable center for them but it is fit for the team but he must have some rest or his load management will affect him throughout the season. A good center in their team will help them. If NorthPort will get a legitimate 2nd center, who would you pick Cheesy.

It is a good move that you've made.

Many are expecting that most of the altcoins right now will disappear in the near future for some reasons like lack of support from the investors, lack of development (abandoned coin) and the coin has just created to scam other people that is why I'm holding Bitcoin right now and a bit of ETH since I believe that these 2 will exist in the next years and maybe decades.

What happened in 2017 is that most of the altcoins followed the move of Bitcoin. Now if Bitcoin will make a parabolic move again, I don't know if the altcoins will follow it but one thing is for sure an altcoin season will happen but I don't know when.
6764  Economy / Speculation / Re: I see a dump approaching, do you? on: February 01, 2020, 10:30:24 AM
We must stay above the $9200 price to remain bullish since it is the support right now for the short term.

TBH, I'm also expecting for a dump in the next few days but it will not just be a simple dump. It will be a healthy correction and since the halving is approaching, investors think that it will rise in the next few weeks and they will be FOMO'ed causing the price to rise.

Whatever happens to Bitcoin in the next few months, I'm still ready for it. It goes down, I will hold. It goes up, I will holdGrin Grin
6765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 01, 2020, 10:14:06 AM
we may see a different Isaac Go because of his experiences in playing to the National Team. He will face more talented players so he will be pushed hard there.

If that so, then we might see a new exciting big man to watch.
Right now, it's only June Mar Fajardo and Christian Stand who are dominating but with him coming and we will be seeing our expectation, then sure it would boost and help his current team to become a playoff contender.
Maybe you should add Japeth Aguilar right now because of what he can do inside the paint. He is a good defender and at the same time good in offense too. We saw already how he played in the Finals against the Bolts last Commissioners Cup and many including me are expecting that he will play the same in the All-Filipino Cup.

He is the captain of the team so it is normal that he will be given a contract like this. I also remember when he is one of the candidates for the Best Player of the Conference in the All-Filipino Cup. He is a good leader and good player too and at the same time good defender.

I hope that Bollick can play this year already with his team NP. This kid is a good addition to them. If he is healthy then a Big 3 can be created in NP. Bollick, Anthony and CStan Cheesy. Any opinions Cheesy. Just came into my mind.

LeBron speaks from the heart to honor crash victims | Remembering Kobe
I almost cried a bit while watching the video of his speech. I know how Kobe played when he is at his prime and he touched many people's hearts even he is still playing and after his retirement. He visited in our country (PH) many times already so many are feeling sad right now with this tragedy.

I was expecting that the Lakers would win as that would be a good tribute to Kobe Bryant but they didn't do well against the visiting team.
The lost to the game by 8 points 127-119.
8 points?? Isn't it the number of Kobe when he first played? A coincidence Cheesy Weird happenings right now Cheesy.
6767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The profitability and effort put into different ways of earning bitcoin on: February 01, 2020, 09:40:02 AM
I'm surprised more earners here aren't blogging since that generally has higher rates of return than a sig campaign and is also slightly easier to do. And considering how many off-topic posts are removed here, even easier than a sig campaign on this site.
Signature campaign should not consider as a your main earning source. We don't know when a campaign would stop or run and only very limited peoples involved with signature campaign especially btc campaign. I believe most of forum users are not aware about blogging like me. I am not familiar with it and just first time heard its possible earning btc by writing blogs. I know only there is few campaign for blogs but it won't a huge amount like you mentioned on OP.  I think most of forum users connected with gambling & trading although both are high risky but quite easy.
I can share my little experience regarding signature campaigns.

I know that some here are saying that "Signature campaign must not be considered as a main source of income". To be honest I tried to experiment myself for a year. I didn't work for a year and I'm in my home only playing games and browsing the forum. Yes I'm not that techy compare to other people here but at that time, signature campaign is my main source of income. Did I survived? Yes and I also bought my own desktop last year too and I gave some money to my family. My earnings in my current signature campaign covered up all of my expenses (since I'm not that extravagant at all).

Or just I'm lucky compare to other people here who are joining signature campaigns (Bitcoin-paid) because I have been accepted to a signature campaign who has a high rates and running for a long time already. Yes you can consider that since I have a bit of luck at the time when I applied for them but the bottom line here is "You can consider signature campaign as a main source of income". It is just a matter of:
-does your monthly earnings in the campaign can cover all of your expenses in one month.
-do you have luck Cheesy (kidding).

P.S. Right now, I have a work IRL while browsing here. New year = new life is my motto right now so I need to add additional sources of income Cheesy.
6768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: February 01, 2020, 09:28:38 AM
CSW is claiming that he is Satoshi
Now this stupid idiot tells that Bitcoin is a shitcoin.

If CSW really is Satoshi, he and ShitAfee must make a debate regarding this since he is saying that "HIS CREATION" which is Bitcoin is a shitcoin.

What stupid dumbasses we have right now but at least it adds entertainment in the crypto world right?? Lets not be serious always. Its fine that there are shitclowns that making us funny anytime they want Cheesy. Those who will believe in McAfee are idiots and stupids (and maybe leave here). If you believe in what he is saying then go trust him. Him that promotes different ICO's in the past years but none of them gave profits to the investors. A shitclown (CSW) followed by another shitclown (McAfee). I can't wait to have another one and they must debate to each other in the future Cheesy.
6769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teen crook hacked into 75 phones and stole $1M in cryptocurrency: authorities on: February 01, 2020, 09:16:27 AM
A wake up call for the cryptocurrency investors and holders.

What happened is a wake up call for them. He is just a young guy but he already did this. How much will the other younger people will do in the future. On the other hand, this is a warning for those holders that they must double their security when it comes to cryptos that they are holding because things like this can happen anytime. Hackers and scammers are lurking everywhere so our holdings must be secured properly.

TBH, he is a skilled young guy but what he did is just wrong. If he used his skills on the right way then this will not happen.
6770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: February 01, 2020, 09:11:01 AM
According to the recent price chart, Bitcoin's move has been very similar to Gold's move.
The price of both of the investments moved likely the same just because of the events that happened since the start of the year. I remember when the US-Iran war happened, the price of these 2 moved up while the other investments went down.

Recently, after Trump delivered speech, the price of Bitcoin and Gold both went down.

And there were other cases that Bitcoin's move follows after Gold's move.
Again, it is just a coincidence that these 2 went the same way after the Trump's speech. Remember that when the fight between the 2 happened, the price of both of them increased. Now that it has ended, Bitcoin and Gold must do the same way to - to make a price correction.

But is this still enough to say that Bitcoin moves like Gold?
There are no 2 investments that moves like the same since the price is based on the technicals and fundamentals. These 2 just reacted the same with the news and that's it.
6771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Days Left before Bitcoin to be more Scarce on: February 01, 2020, 08:32:12 AM
There are two sides of the halving. While many are hyping up around the anticipation that it would peak once more, miners on the other hand are planning on quitting being a miner because their profit is effectively reduced by 50%.
If the price of Bitcoin will rise before the halving will occur, miners will think twice or thrice if they will continue to mine or not. Yes the Bitcoin amount will be reduce but if the price increases, it will be the same for them. Lets just wish that Bitcoin will not go below the price where most of the miners will stay profitable.

The price increases because of FOMO, and investors don't want to get left behind because they all expect the halving would increase the price. Thus, we see a bullish run every halving, a combination of hype and demand-supply idea.
TBH, they are just FOMO'ing because in the past 2 halvings of Bitcoin, its price increased and pumped but if you will see its price movement it rose up but after few weeks it went down too to make a correction. A bullish run when halving comes is normal already since it happened within the past 2 but I also expect that after halving, price will dump.

6773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to monetize a bitcoin/cryptocurrency seminar/meeting? on: January 31, 2020, 01:33:58 PM
~
There is nothing wrong with monetizing a seminar or meeting. These is what most of the experts are doing. They are offering free seminar and the next meetings will be paid but start for a small amount only.

If you are passionate with what you are doing right now then you must learn too how to make money from it. Creating a youtube channel to share some important information regarding Bitcoin will do since your mission is to share anything related to Bitcoin and crypto in general right?

Motivational speakers right now are being paid to speak in different seminars right now. You can do it too. You can browse the internet if there are some seminars and meetings that are related to crypto and you can be a speaker there. You will be paid there and at the same, you can share what you know too.

P.S. I see your passion in spreading the information. There is nothing wrong in getting some rewards from it Smiley. Just continue to do it if it really is your passion.

*snip*

Unfortunately hindi talaga mahilig mag research ung karamihan. At this point ang makakapag pilit sa mga tao magresearch is I saksak sa baga nalang talaga ng mga studyante sa mga paaralan para kahit papaano ung mga next generations na e marunong lahat mag research. As for the older demographic sa bansa natin.. no comment. Anghihilig kumagat sa mga MLM.
Saka lang matatauhan ang mga pinoys kapag naranasan na nilang mascam. Ganun sila eh.

6775  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm trapped in trading on: January 31, 2020, 01:14:17 PM
all I have left now is Stable coin hoping I can buy back when price goes lower again, do you think price will fall again or keeps surging ?
With the Bitcoin halving comes near, the investors are thinking that the price will continues to rise.

You are invested into a stable coin right now. Well congrats Cheesy. Do some technical analysis this time. If you see that the indicators are telling that it will continue to rise, make a stop loss already. Now if you have the guts to hold your stable coin then do it or you can just average down if you want. I assume that you are not a beginner in trading Wink.

Bitcoin Halving Is Just Around The Corner
Why do journalists continue to promote this myth? Anyway, this basic misunderstanding and misapplication of "supply and demand" is so popular (and so wrong) that it probably does have some effect on speculators.
Its a basic misconception but it is the reason why price is increasing. You know that most of the investors right now isn't as knowledgable as other investors out there so when they heard the news regarding halving, they immediately bought Bitcoin causing its price to rise. Don't forget that it also happened in its past 2 halvings. Cheesy

Bitcoin a Safe Haven: Emerging Worries Surrounding The Coronavirus Outbreak
Since when did an investment became a safe haven? I know that I'm not that good with regards to this aspect but I don't see any investment that is considered a safe haven. Another one is I don't see any correlation between the coronavirus that is happening right now and Bitcoin and crypto.

Not a good article to be honest even though I'm not a good in writing Cheesy.
6777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: January 31, 2020, 12:32:44 PM
Have you ever heard that binance is now taking huge step to help Coronavirus victims in Wuhan China? Their CEO, CZ announced that exchange promised about 1.5 million Dollars in USD to help the victims.
The huge money that CZ will be giving to the patients is a good way of advertising their exchange but to be honest, this isn't the one they really need right now.

What they need right now is masks, medicines to prevent it from spreading like alcohol and sanitizers, and what the people in Wuhan right now is our prayers Smiley. I think it would be better if CZ will just give masks not only on the people in Wuhan but to all the countries that already have a case of the coronavirus. We need it right now to be honest. Supplies of masks are depleting right now in a fast pace that most of the people can't get even one box even though there are some volunteers who are giving free masks.
6778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum on: January 31, 2020, 12:19:50 PM
tell me have potential in Elecrtoneum (ETN)?
I have been using ETN for years already thru their mobile app. I'm mining in their mobile app.

To earn for free, it really is a good coin since there are only a few coins that you can earn in a free way. I know that the team is working consistently with their project but still ETN is like other altcoins out there. After an excellent ICO (one of the best ICO's ever happened in crypto world), its price plummeted. Many are expecting for this coin to rise in the future but to be honest, the concept of the coin itself doesn't help them to make the price of the coin rise or just they are lacking in marketing or the investors are just naive to realize the true concept of the project.
6779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 31, 2020, 11:58:45 AM
Controlling emotions and imagination is not easy in gambling, I once imagined that if I succeeded in the jackpot then I would buy a car, motorcycle or other. This makes me even more excited to gamble and the negative side effects that arise when I cant control it are the more money I spend on betting without even realizing it.
Yeah, I think everyone of us already do that thing , we believe that when we gambled, we will become rich and our financial status would be stable, but are not aware in the fact that time that when we gamble we need to take the risk and we cannot avoid losing money , the only thing we can do is to have a proper money management do not rely your status or goal in gambling.
That is how greedy gamblers think. They think that gambling will change their life and it will be changed in a quick and easy way.

I hate to say this but they are stupid if they think like this. They are just thinking of the things that will happen if they "WIN". What if they lose what will happen to them?? They are not thinking of the things that might happen if they lose all of their money. We can't blame if they think like this. They will just stop if the worst situation happens. If the time comes that they will be out of money.

Losing money in gambling is inevitable especially if you are thinking that gambling can change your life in an instant. The risks in gambling is very high but the rewards are also high. Not worth it to be honest unless you are a greedy one.

What do you think guys for the top draft pick of Columbian Dyip of Isaac Go from Ateneo Blue Eagles? This kid have potential to grow.
Hoping Columbian Dyip will help this young guy to improve his talent.
Hopefully and hopefully they will keep him as their franchise player, not to trade him in other teams with big names.
Don't hope too much when it comes to these league. I don't want to say this but this is all money talks already. If their tandem with CJ Perez will be good for the next seasons then they will not trade him but if it doesn't, he will be a good asset for trading just to get better players that will fit with their current system. I know that these kid has a potential but.. lets wish that he will used more often in the team and for him, he must show his true skills at the start of the conference.

This kid will definitely help Columbian Dyip in their PBA campaign but i think we will have to wait for some time because Isaac Go will serve the National team for three years if i'm not mistaken before dyip could fully use him.
Yes this is true but the good thing is he will definitely get a spot for the team and at that time, we may see a different Isaac Go because of his experiences in playing to the National Team. He will face more talented players so he will be pushed hard there.
