So the really important thing to know is: When did you generate the last of your 3-4 payment adress on that you have been receive the 5 coins?
6762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Did I fail at backing up my wallet.dat? on: June 21, 2016, 11:55:21 AM
If you receive the 5 btc on an older existing adress generated before the monday backup you don't have to worry about.
You wrote that you have only 3-4 adresses

6765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average block size was 0.951 MB on: June 19, 2016, 06:08:25 PM
Sent a payment of 1,5btc on tuesday that was confirmed today morning after ~5days!
Have forgotten to check the mempool before I sent the coins. With 35k open transactions and a small fee of 0,00002...not my best idea so far  Roll Eyes

Damn that is a long time to confirm, you're obviously clued up though & you realise why, the fee was way too small Grin
I always pay higher than the average fee because I'm always keen to see quick confirmations.

I check this site before sending coins: https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/
Look at the 15th June where I didn't do my homework...in normal times (like now) my transactions are in a block within 45min latest even with my very small fee

6767  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 19, 2016, 11:38:16 AM
Just bought a new 65" TV for my living room and paid it with Bitcoins. After the rally in btc price for me it was a great discount  Cool

6768  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Neue Mining Hardware? on: June 16, 2016, 07:04:27 AM

6771  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Banana Node- Unterstütze das Netzwerk! on: June 13, 2016, 08:08:53 PM
Quote
maxmempool=850
maxconnections=50
minrelaytxfee=0.00002
limitfreerelay=5

6772  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: June 13, 2016, 11:20:55 AM

6773  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Was sagen eure Freundinnen/Frauen/Partner zu Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2016, 09:40:38 AM

6774  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: ¤¤¤¤ antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share ¤¤¤¤ on: June 13, 2016, 09:35:51 AM
Very generous and from the figures I see you are planning on hitting a Block before the halving.  Grin

Rich

For sure before! After the halving you get only tip for a block  Grin
6775  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: June 13, 2016, 08:21:33 AM
Have had several S3+ miners but only one of them was be able to run at frequency 250 with ~500Ghs stable and low HW errors.
Power consumption at the wall was about 400W
6776  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: ¤¤¤¤ antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share ¤¤¤¤ on: June 13, 2016, 08:11:19 AM
the last block from kano pool was a 1.05 TH miner - OMG!

Who knows .... R1 may have a chance... we never know.
Yeah I do my best to solve one before the halving  Wink

6778  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive RockMiner New R-Box Setup [HD] on: June 12, 2016, 03:11:20 PM
Sorry but I haven't any photo and can't remember correct  Undecided
Should be 70mm fans from sharkoon 21db, miner temperatur between 50-54° in an ambient of 20° (https://www.amazon.de/Sharkoon-System-Fan-70X70X15mm-Geh%C3%A4usel%C3%BCfter/dp/B000EIV63I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1465744234&sr=8-2&keywords=70mm+sharkoon)
Fans spinning on constant speed, no PWM possible
6779  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive RockMiner New R-Box Setup [HD] on: June 10, 2016, 08:37:18 PM
Just like the antrun duke, I'm only in it for the fun of it. Going to see how far I can push the little rboxs for histories sake as I haven't read how high anyone has had them running stably  Wink

Never had much luck trying to overclock these miners! But tuned with some silent sharkoon fans you can put them in your bedroom for mining. The sound is like an air condition  Wink
6780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin already using too much power by 2020? on: June 10, 2016, 07:23:35 PM
Hahaha well that really is the irony of mining, thats why we needs to purchase high-number pieces of technology to lessen power consumption.

I bet the power consumption over all won't go down if we buy always the newest hardware but the speed of hashing increases like we can see in difficulty again and again
