6781  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 06, 2020, 12:08:17 AM
I am glad you refer to him as a scammer. I think the consensus seems to be pointing heavily towards theyoungmillionaire being a scammer rather than being someone who through the course of either an unfortunate incident or other misfortune ended up not only defaulting on his loan repayments but also was unable to contact the lender (DireWolfM14) to apologise.

As for where he is right now, well it might be easy to answer if it were known how many alt-accounts he has here...

And, 😌 please guys stop flooding this thread with irrelevant replies, You're definitely not helping and so do I. Whatever comes into the plate, then that's that already.
Let this thread be in peace, until we find out where the shitty scammer is.
6782  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: July 05, 2020, 12:13:12 PM
There have never been any serious allegations of scam against Bustadice or Bustabit. Those websites are not scams, their owner (devans) has an excellent reputation within this forum.

The site is scam .please check here . The admin never replied to any email or on my thread

As a first preference I would go with the misdirection via trolling option, I do not see how he would have been serious with the notion he would consider killing himself because he ended up a couple of million of USD$ richer.

Been away for a bit and missed your post.

My guess is the winner disclosed their real identity ( or has established connections ) with "online friends" and when won that nice pot he made a clumsy attempt to form an alibi and break any relationship with someone he fears could claim a part of the cake for some reason that only they know.

It really doesn't make any sense the " I won so much money I don't deserve I will end my life" statement and I don't even drink the "we don't know who sits on the other side of the pc" speech : just don't withdraw or donate to charity , family , friends, do good, help the needy and so on. you can do whatever it takes to make you feel better.

Or simply he was just trolling other players.

Elaborate... why are you being so negative?

Funny how you think that eth pos is ever gonna happen Grin
6785  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: July 05, 2020, 11:17:16 AM
There are so many examples of users not using the Trust system in an incorrect manner.

Double negative.

Nice spot. Thank you Timey, I will make sure my posts are totally completely fully coherent in future  Grin

I am not sure why CryptopreneurBrainboss added those users, only he can explain the reasons behind his decision.
I noticed something I forgot I even implemented:

That's a mistake from my part and it has been corrected, I'm fun of rotating my custom trust list every now and then (if you monitor my list you'll noticed that). I Have a draft where I copy the name from and paste on my trust settings. If you observed properly, all or most of the newly added users were once on my custom trust list, which were also removed as a result of my list rotation.

Just edited my list to correct that and some of those that were newly added to my custom trust list had been removed then new members will replaced them (from DT1 probably to strengthen my CTL). My selection is made on my personal criteria and not having a custom list of yours isn't part of the criteria. I too was included in the DT list weeks before I even had a custom list.

Thanks for the observation.

Thank you for the swift reply and explanation. I used to add/remove people to my Trust list fairly regularly but some time last year I became restrictive. I add people to my distrust list with ease but consider carefully before adding them to my Trust list because being on DT it means being responsible in a different manner.

Anyway, I am glad it all seems to be sorted out.

6786  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 05, 2020, 11:06:21 AM
I never investigated him, I have no interest in him at all except for the fact he defaulted on his loan.

There are comments about him having multiple accounts and others questioning whether something might have happened to him (health, accident, etc) which might have contributed to him defaulting but for me the only issue that matters is that the loan was defaulted and no explanation was ever provided by theyoungmillionaire to DireWolfM14.

Perhaps you should leave the alt investigation to the rest of us, after all, why would you *just now* distrust a user who has been banned since the 13th of February 2020:

This thread is supposed to be about theyoungmillionaire (user=1180530) defaulting on his loan, everything unrealted should be discussed in different thread.

Good Point.

How are your own investigations into theyoungmillionaire going?  Turned up anything yet?

6788  Economy / Reputation / Re: Betking.io New Project ??? on: July 04, 2020, 09:56:43 PM
Serial scammer Dean Nolan simply wants users from the betking database to send him an email asking for a pppoker.net ID and joining instructions. All it means is when you cut to the chase he will get commission from pppoker.net when new users sign up so it is nothing more than an affiliate.

What is clear is that serial scammer Dean Nolan insists that victims of the betking scam (those that he himself scammed by stealing large parts of the ICO funds and also the $400,000 bankroll) will receive affiliate funds but we all know that is nonsense. Just look at the so-called Bitsler deal, up to 250 ex-betking players were being handed up to $200 each for basically signing up at Bitsler via a link provided by serial scammer Dean Nolan. How many of those $200 went straight in to his pocket when he made multiple accounts to sign up at Bitsler?

And where is the Bitsler link on his "https://betking.io" website now? Maybe they realised serial scammer Dean Nolan was ripping them off.

The greedy serial scammer Dean Nolan deserves to be in jail. Pathetic.

Today I checked my emails and I found an email from support@betking.io about poker game.

There are so many examples of users not using the Trust system in an incorrect manner.

Just look at those reciprocating Trust between the handful of hate spreading minority of users from the otherwise excellent Turkish board. Vispilio has been outed as having DragonDance as an alt-account but from when I last checked he was still a Merit Source even after being one of the most divisive trouble-making hate spreading low-life users in the forum.

Being on DT really does mean users should be somewhat careful about how they (including myself) - conduct ourselves. Adding members on the basis of positive feedback alone or reciprocating Trust is absolutely not a correct use of the Trust system.

I am not sure why CryptopreneurBrainboss added those users, only he can explain the reasons behind his decision. I hope he does post here because he is (to my knowledge) a Merit Source too and even though we have not interacted for many months as we rarely post in the same threads, he seemed an approachable nice person who articulates himself very well and contributed regularly in a positive manner to the forum.

I noticed something I forgot I even implemented:
  432. 2526732: This user's information will be added next week. Until then, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2526732
  439. 2709246: This user's information will be added next week. Until then, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2709246
This is caused by 2 users who where added to DT2, while they didn't even have any Trust-list-relations in theymos' last data dump (which was this morning). Digging further, I stumbled upon Trust selfscratching by CryptopreneurBrainboss. Yesterday, he had (Trust: +2 / =1 / -0). Now it's (Trust: +6 / =1 / -0) after he added those 4 users to DT2:
Image loading...
All of those 4 users have left positive feedback to CryptopreneurBrainboss. I don't consider this correct use of the Trust system, especially from someone on DT1.
6790  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 04, 2020, 05:36:42 PM
What is clear remains unchanged, namely that TYM defaulted on his loan. As for anything else such as his health, location, reason for defaulting etc it is speculation but the fact remains he defaulted on his loan. repayment.
6791  Economy / Reputation / Re: Whitebit on: July 04, 2020, 02:01:54 PM
This thread was started in December 2019 and you have not been posting here. Do you have any new information to add?

Do not trust anything to these people. Their security is rubbish. My wallet was accessed and emptied by a third party when I was blocked by their security from accessing my account. There is the e mail trail to verify I was indeed blocked but they claim that I authorised the transfer of all assets out of my wallet.
6792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 04, 2020, 01:18:04 PM
Football in various countries including England, Italy, Spain and Germany (English Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and Bundesliga) are being played behind closed doors. It is a great start to returning back to normal slowly and fans will be eased back in to stadiums later.

It probably will take a long time until sport events will be back to normal. As long as the corona numbers are so high, it would be completely reckless to open up the big stadiums again. Fortunately for sports betting the impact is not so big.

We just have to be patient and get used to watching sports only on TV for a while.
6793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 04, 2020, 10:27:38 AM
If Trump can get the go-ahead for a rally speaking to a half-filled arena of c.10,000 people when the capacity was c.20,000 then by that logic sports events should not be restricted but the fact of the matter is look at what happened the Tennis tournament in Serbia went ahead which was organised by Djokovic in June 2020. He, his wife and several players as well as several spectators including a pregnant woman became infected. He flouted the social distance guidelines and went to nightclubs with fellow professionals (as the videos showed) and the tournament met a swift end.

Life still goes on and as time goes on we will adapt until we find ourselves closer to the life we had before COVID-19.

Slowly and slowly as more and more sports events start taking place, betting will increase. There are many people that place bets on sports events without evening having an interest in that particular sport as odds are available for many aspects of the game (goals scored, sent off, total corners etc).

I am worried about the impact the lock down has had on vulnerable people that might have started gambling and turned it in to an addiction.

I am also glad that in many countries once again started to allow the conduct of sports matches. This will show people that they need to stop being afraid and get used to living the same life.
Don't worry about dependent people. They never stopped playing. Some of them played in online casinos, others played in illegal casinos.
6794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 04, 2020, 09:52:21 AM
There has never ever been a cure for any coronavirus including the common flu so why do people think there will be a cure developed for COVID-19?

The current pandemic is a very dangerous virus, it really requires a lot of time before it will be developed.

So maybe Q1 or Q2 next year, there's a possibility that they will produce a vaccine for us to be COVID-free. Meanwhile, in China, there are vaccine trials happening right now and I hope it's the solution for this pandemic so we can continue the sports event like Fury vs Wilder III that has postponed recently.

As long as there is a clear plan and a clear timetable that stays true to its target then people will be willing to happily wait but if the launch gets delayed again and again then interest will dry up.

So far it seems if all goes well and all modifications are implemented then ETH 2.0 will be a force to be reckoned with.

https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1277961594958471168

If you read a tweet, then Vitalik tells us about phase 1. This is very cool, but we must understand that phase 1 does not support smart contracts.  Support for smart contracts is promised to us in phase 2.
All major transactions will be in ETH 1.0 before starting phase 2.
6796  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - theyoungmillionaire u=1180530 on: July 04, 2020, 09:32:14 AM
I am glad you are not letting these trolls get to you. Alt-accounts making mischief while attention seeking is not anything new and Digitradez certainly seems to have at least one other account as the way he is posting like some who has been posting here before.

As for the terms and conditions of the loan, it was part of the deal which was agreed before the money was sent so I have no idea why newbie account Digitradez is behaving in the way he is.

Legal action would be a waste of time for such a small amount, I know from personal experience, but good luck with that. Can't say I feel bad about a loan shark not being paid back, OP was charging rates that would be considered illegal in many parts of the world. He wasn't even necessarily scammed, someone just defaulted on a loan, happens everyday in America.

" In most jurisdictions today (meaning, all of the USA, and most other civilized countries) usury (the crime of charging interest above a certain rate) is illegal; hence, usurious lenders operate outside the bounds of the law, because no court will assist them in getting a judgment against, or enforcing collection from, borrowers at the usurious interest rates they charge their customers — the lender, in other words, has no _legal_ recourse, if the borrower should default (fail to pay back) on the illegal loan (principal _or_ interest)."

I provided terms to which the borrower agreed.  No body put a gun to anyone's head and forced them to accept my terms.

You seem to have a very convoluted sense of logic:  If I'm understanding correctly I'm responsible because I was charging rates that are more than some arbitrary number derived by corrupt governments intended to prevent their banker cohorts from abusing their coordinated corruption?  Got it.  My conclusion; you're obviously an irritating moronic troll, spreading your contradictory shit-posts across the forum trying to draw attention to yourself.  Good luck with that.

6798  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT!! Adab Solutions - So Called Islamic Crypto Exchange is Haraam on: July 03, 2020, 10:57:20 PM

Here is the latest with Adab Solutions. Even their domain has expired.....

Even their bounty program was a scam, their whole premise about scamming people under the guise of religious investment was a farce. They deserve jail time for their scam.

I was one of the participant on first part of the bounty campaign, but when I saw your post about  Adab I di not think twice to take out the signature and find another one, they send the rewards to bounty hunters but bounty hunters only got 40% of the bounty hunters and majority did not get there share, half of that Adab is still stuck in my wallet because the price is a sore to the eyes.
After Adab I stopped doing ICO bounty and join Bitvest i don't want to encounter another ADAB again.
