6781  Economy / Reputation / Re: If I suspect a bitcointalk account is for sale... on: November 16, 2018, 09:44:09 AM
It's weired to see somoene trying to sell or buy accounts in the forum. Most of them got catched by Mods or users then receive an immediate red tag which turn it worthless.
In this thread, you may understand how much this market is getting bigger and bigger.
Correction, not by mods they are all foud by the DT members and some of the volunteers they they will get exposed in some threads and they will get red tag for their untrustworthy behaviour.
6782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: November 16, 2018, 08:19:59 AM
Forever I hope because I am not addicted to gambling so it won't disturb me if I am not playing in anyways but I want the people to taste the adrenaline bump from the betting in their life time so try it and enjoy it because it just like a pleasure happen in our mind for something we are going to do new and luck based thing.
6783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your greatest trading regret? on: November 15, 2018, 04:14:40 PM
I bought the bitcoins at mid 2018 in the though of the bull run will begin in the second half of this year but it never happened yet so I had some losses with that decision and the impact is still there with me.
6784  Economy / Reputation / Re: Our forum is still democratic and free, right? on: November 15, 2018, 02:50:21 PM
It is not democratic forum,it is privately owned forum.
No one will believes that group of people working together with same ethereum address because this is one of the solid evidence that those accounts were controlled by same person.

marlboroza is a DT member so he is supposed to give negative feedbacks for untrustworthy behaviour of forum people.
So you saying that the argument of the cheating charges that "no one will believe"? So you can go very far. And what specifically the rules of the forum violates the possession of one ethereum address by several people?
private ownership also does not mean a dictatorship
As other said you are not banned so it doesn't have anything to do with the forum rules so you just tagged because of abusing the forum rules.I am not sure that having one ethereum address by many people is against here and also having multiple accounts as well but the problem is because of you enrolled in multiple bounties.

6786  Other / Meta / Re: Flaws In The Merit System. on: November 15, 2018, 09:17:05 AM
The problem with this kind of behavior is that it will encourage the forum to become an echo chamber, and will encourage others to agree with those who clearly have merit to spend.

That is one of the issues u have also noticed with users taking sides to try and get favour from higher ranked members

And some members use it as a reward for agreeing with them. (Some merit sources as well)

Meriting something you agree with is quite a task, but merits should be given you deserving posts regardless of your position, and point of view.

We might need a full guideline on how to merit posts and not just a few lines in the official rules.
As far as now we don't have any guidelines to how the merits needs to spend other than Don't merit the post you just agree, merit the high quality post so it is about our own opinion is about how to spend our merits here. When we stop hunting for merits then the whole system will work properly so stop posting for getting merits, just post yourself and the merits will follow up.
6787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do i know Which Coin Suddenly Pump? on: November 15, 2018, 06:51:57 AM
I see Gainer & Looser every day in Coinmarketcap. I always try to know, which coin will Suddenly pump? I've read a few article, But I can not understand it easily. Many people say learn Fundamental analysis. If you have knowledge about this topic. Feel free, You can share your skills & knowledge with everyone.
By coinmarket cap we can do this by sorting the coins in the order of price growth but it is impossible to do by without watching those kind of websites.Fundamental ot technical analysis are only for predicting the prices which doesn't meant it will happen for sure.
6788  Other / Meta / Re: Merit against spam: reward spam reporters & punish spammers on: November 14, 2018, 07:09:50 PM
Merit as the reward for the spam reporters is also abusing the merit system.I think the reward for the spam reporters are the reporter badges which will encourage the users to report more,if we have the merits for number of reports then the bounty hunters will click all the report to moderator button in every thread which makes huge work load for the mods.

6789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Need To Put Your Emotion in Trading ? on: November 14, 2018, 06:15:44 PM
I think controlling our emotions in the trading is the real task that is how we can make the better decisions at the tough situations. But if someone is active trader they need to stay away from emotions while trading they just need to do this at with full mind since they are doing this as job.
6790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: November 14, 2018, 04:27:29 PM
There are a lot of companies calling me at least every 2 days to ask me if i am into trading and if not why not and why i don't and so on..
Is there any kind of entertainment if doing online investments or trading?
Enlighten me!
Trading is one of the most serious job so you need to do it with perfection or you will lose your money. If you want to do trading as an entertainment you do as well but better try gambling which is what created for the entertainment purpose.
6791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 14, 2018, 01:31:04 PM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?
If you are just going to invest on the cryptos then it maybe the right time to get in since the price of the cryptos were get sable for a while now so you can invest your money as much as you can but remember that never invest your savings money which you need in short term.
6792  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this good? (Thread Edited) on: November 14, 2018, 09:18:51 AM
I guess you miss this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045649.0, what is the thing you wanted to remind to all and who are this so-called "all" by the way?
I mean all who tagged from Lauda, Some of them now, their red trust are not effective because Lauda wasn't DT member.
Most of the users tagged by lauda was tagged by other DT members now but only few of them not tagged because other DT members consider those feedbacks are not needed anymore so they left those users without any negative feedbacks.

If you want to know who are the people have no tag from others DT members check this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045649.msg47096670#msg47096670
6793  Other / Meta / Re: Short story about being merited…. on: November 12, 2018, 05:13:29 PM
Hard work never fails tho, Smiley

I am not really a well knowledgeable person about the crypto currencies so I am not interested much about in hunting the merits,I just keep posting what I can do then if someone found interesting they may merit me.But I am hoping that I got very better in my crypto knowledge than how much I know for a year before.Still learning because I am very slow learner. Lips sealed

Hope I am also can be a well knowledgeable person about cryptos someday. Smiley
Higher ranked members be more generous and encourage the users to by giving some merits if they got something interesting to read.
6794  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of money from barter system to crypto currency on: November 12, 2018, 02:49:10 PM

In the old age,few centuries ago people uses some money system which is called Barter system to buy and sell their products. This system works like exchanging their products between two people when they are in need but they realized that that system has flaws and not suitable for everyone since if there is no demand for one's product he can't buy anything he needs so later they moved to currencies (paper money) until now people uses this as their main form of payment but in digital format but people needs to understand that this also has flaw of centralization so we need to move to the decentralized money for better life.Lets get update ourselves to use the crypto currencies.

The focus is on concentrating, so I think focusing is better than focusing. But in the concentrated market, we will be bound by so many things but we are still protected. Entering the decentralized market, you are free to do anything without the law. So I think the focus market is still safer than this market.
market centralization is all regulated by government, so that everything is under control. in contrast to a decentralized market, where pure demand and supply work. therefore making this market more risky
I don't see this decentralized market system as more risky but they are more real when compared to centralized control market. You fear that the prices can be manipulated but when the currrecneis get diluted all over the places no one will be having enough amount to manipulate the demand.
6795  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Begging ! on: November 12, 2018, 09:28:30 AM
It looks like he is bounty manager,so asking for a merit is very bad thing but if he is asking for the first you may let him know about merit begging is not allowed in the forum.

But if he got all the merits from this way he should be tagged for this shady activity.
6796  Other / Meta / Re: Top Members Vs Junior Members on: November 12, 2018, 07:19:25 AM
If someone giving negative feedbacks for no reason or with reason it won't reflect in your default trust rating unless they are DT members so you can continue to do the good job of finding the scammers irrespective of which rank you are.
Bitcointalk have no such rules to punish such profiles and they take advantage of this.
Actually we have,
Trust spam isn't allowed. If I see anyone posting dozens of fake trust ratings (from one account or many alt accounts),I will delete all of their ratings.
6797  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust abuse! Injustice! Fake trust by winter! Much butthurt I am! on: November 10, 2018, 04:16:05 PM
So, what bugs me here is false feedback received by mentioned member, winter claims that I am the one who is offering service which doesn't exist, visible on their trust wall https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=100039 and for better visibility:
~Snipped~
Well, that is blatant lie and blatant trust abuse, someone please do something because I can't take it any more. My family suffers.
Unfortunately, that doesn't fall into the "extreme abuse (e.g. Red trust spam)" category; therefore, it stays Sad

Trust spam isn't allowed. If I see anyone posting dozens of fake trust ratings (from one account or many alt accounts), I will delete all of their ratings.
~Snipped~
I agree that it is a little annoying to see a wall of negative ratings, but this is in the "untrusted" section. The way things are set up currently, untrusted ratings can be easily spammed in a number of ways. That's why those ratings are hidden by default.
So he actually spams the trust page too because we can see the send feedbacks from winter trust's page without appropriate references other than the link to his own thread.

He needs to be reported to admin about this case?!
6798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most profitable bounty tasks on: November 10, 2018, 02:17:35 PM
Hey guys, when you are doing a bounty program, which tasks do you usually do? Facebook and Twitter? My favourite task is a Youtube video review. However I think Bitcointalk signature is the most profitable. Do you agree with me?
Translation and the Youtube campaign are the most profitable because they have less number of participation so which will leads you to get more tokens when comparing with signature campaign. But most of the bounties are going scam so pick the right one if you want to have worthy tokens doe your effort.
6799  Other / Meta / Is there any way to check everyday forum activity? on: November 10, 2018, 08:11:19 AM
Just curious to know how many posts made everyday in our forum so I searched for it but found nothing so someone help me if there is a way to find that.I just go this curiosity because I can see huge downfall in the posting activity on many boards maybe because of not too many signature campaigns.
6800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to pick best signature campaign on: November 09, 2018, 05:51:19 PM
Choose the campaigns based on the managers because most of the reputed manager will do enough research about that project before they were taking that bounty to manage and nowadays no bounties are worth to join for two reason wither a good project overwhelming with number of participants which makes the rewards to be very less or the remaining projects providing worthless tokens.
