6781  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to choose a wallet? on: January 16, 2019, 03:33:34 PM
Choose a wallet that lets you hold your own private keys. Yes, there's too many option for someone who's looking for a good wallet. You may find the reliable ones through: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Desktop wallet is good for people who don't have budget to buy hardware wallet and the most popular is 'Electrum'. But if you can avail to have an hardware wallet, you should have it. The amount of asset you hold doesn't matter, what matters is the security that it offers to every user of it.

an old system can't be replaced and this is the word I chose to use because there's still a good business and usage for it.
We cannot be sure about. Changes may bring any surprises too. Recent studies are indicating reduced number of gamblers to physical casino due to boom of smart phones and awareness against gambling.
Traditional systems still remain and that's the truth. It may be outdated for most but there's still the oldies but goodies who prefer to stay and gamble with the old system (physical casino's).

Yes, time will come that these will lessen its customers but so far in my country it's still booming. And you know what? there's more infrastructure that are on going to build expansions.
6783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: January 15, 2019, 05:20:30 AM
Very few gamblers now are actually gambling for fun. I can say that I'm gambling for fun and spends few satoshi's that I want but there are times that I'm losing my control and just crave to gamble for bigger amount.

Playing/gambling online can be the cure to those people that are going through a depression and anxiety. It's a good idea for them but if not moderated, monitored and controlled it will result to a very bad ending.
we shouldn't give a question to the player's privacy issues. every player is free to have any purpose in gambling. to have fun or make a profit.
the most important thing is that online gambling sites make us easy to gamble without fear of government restrictions, you don't need to come long way to the casino and so on.
It's not really a privacy if someone wants to hide or expose that he is gambling for fun or not. Your concern of having the casino's to give us confidence and convenient way of gambling is true.

Like what I said that it should be moderated and you have the ability to control yourself. It's not bad to gamble or go to casino's as long as you're on the right age and its your money but sometimes having of too much too is bad.

-snip-
Sorry if I can't help you with your problem on LAtoken, looks really many of you are having the same problem with that exchange. You must tell their support that your transaction failed and shouldn't be labeled as 'completed'.

It may be completed on their database as the transaction proceeded but ended as failed. You just have to explain it very well to them, I experienced the same issues before with some exchange and I just told them what happened and my transaction and problem was solved by them later.
6785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a new BIG BTC buy signal??? on: January 15, 2019, 03:47:13 AM
yes, that is good news and it can have a positive effect on the crypto market for the better.
Should we say that it is a big rumor? every good rumor that comes out and gets published to articles, everyone assumes that it's going to be a reality. Though some of those rumors became true but it didn't really gave a signal for everyone to buy bitcoin.

As pooya said, you should look at the charts and analyze it to the best understanding that you can. Some news are just bringing false hope and fake news are also scattered on the web to bring hype and fear.
yes, I also always analyze graphics, but I also always analyze every news related to crypto.

in my opinion, news greatly affects the market, so graph analysis and news analysis are very important.

Don't invest big amount just based on these news. It can be fake news also.

If prices move up everyone will be happy but I'm not confident that as of now prices can jump very high. I too waiting for prices to cross 10K to books some profit.
@airdagon, yes news greatly affects the market. But it also matters if it's real or not, if it's real then the effect would occur for a very long time but if its fake then its all pure buzz and hype.

@minerhq I also doubt it that there will be a huge increase just because of that. It should be composed of pure market movements through high demand through people's belief and what we think about bitcoin.

In short, don't lean too much to rumors.
6786  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can we trust Blockchain.com? (Poll) on: January 15, 2019, 03:10:53 AM
So, getting on this point and after reading your replays, we all agree on something. They are asking for users verification paying $25, so, they shouldn't call it a giveaway. If they want to give money to their users, then ok, make a giveaway, but if they want to pay for their users' verification, then don't call it a giveaway because that's only a bait and not a true giveaway.
Yeah that's a bait that they are trying to implement KYC a little by little. They aren't surprising their users of totally implementing the KYC alone, maybe stellar just sponsored that 'giveaway/airdrop' or they are just making a story with it.

What I've found out, they also have a 'Swap' now. You need to verify few of your info to be approved as tier 1 which includes a $1,000 limit and if you want to upgrade you need to pass on additional requirements including the ID and it gives 'eligibility' for the airdrop.

Technology innovates everything and gambling is one of it. There's still people who will keep on looking to the typical activity with gambling through those places that you've been with.

But to the new generation of gamblers, standards and practices are changing. It's better to stay at home and gamble online, you are at your own convenient place, enjoy gambling and if you're main goal is to make money, then you have chance.
The only thing that is constant is changes if we don't change where would be at right now? Though there are a lot of sacrifices for everyone to change and gamblers are not an exception, no one. Technology might change the way you used to play poker in the casino before but you chose to stay home for your convenience. Without further ado, once a gambler he's always a gambler. Cool
Change is really constant so that's given in a world that we're living. Every year there's a change and upgrade to everything that we use, so be it smart phones, systems and we even might see a very new and unique style of playing poker in the future.

But we can't remove the old systems, an old system can't be replaced and this is the word I chose to use because there's still a good business and usage for it. This can also be a solution and option for someone that feels bored while staying at home.

6790  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is looking boring 2019 on: January 13, 2019, 02:32:23 PM
If you can't take it anymore feel free to look for some other investment opportunity such as stocks, bonds, lending, etc. I'm sorry if you feel that the market is boring, you just felt that phasing in the crypto market especially to bitcoin was quick.

As we see it move daily with almost nothing but losses everyday, it really gives that feeling of discouragement. Is it okay if you're going to share what's that goal you created last 2018?
6791  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can we trust Blockchain.com? (Poll) on: January 12, 2019, 04:49:24 AM
I saw a particular person posted that he already claimed the promised $25 airdrop from them. I have the same sentiment like what others said. I use them and I enjoy that but when its comes to sending my IDs, thats another thing which I disagree.

Theres a dual purpose for their KYC now, as the stellar airdrop ends if you want to use their integrated exchange they also require ID verification. Whats good with them even we wont pass KYC, we are still able to use them as wallet.

I trust them somehow with their service but I dont trust them to keep my data.

Gambit Esports Vs OG (2-0) Lost
I watched the game 1 and OG was raped badly though they have a very good engagement during the clash at the early game. But as the game goes by, on the mid-game it's already a turn over for them.

Their heroes aren't effective during the clash, they don't have that much AoE while the line up for Gambit does have a full skills of AoE and they can easily counter if OG wants to engage. GGWP Gambit.
6793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Tips : Esports , Nba , Nfl , Tennis , soccer on: January 11, 2019, 03:30:31 AM
PPD didnt really expect that or just missed out to make that ban.The good thing of these Chinese pro players is that they are to versatile when it comes to hero pickings. They can make counter after being countered.
They did choke and yes they can potentially face up KG on LB if they would lost to EHOME.  Overall my expectations are on OG.
My guess is they don't have to respect ban as it's the first game that they met. I'm a fan of their pickings and game plays and there's no need to deny on how great they are with Dota 2.

I've been following most Chinese teams since Dota 1 days and now that updates are changing and Meta's too, you'll see them on how they are great to adjust. Well, Ehome vs KG is going to be blast game - two good Chinese teams.
6794  Economy / Economics / Re: Low demand for gasoline on: January 11, 2019, 02:32:35 AM
It is the sad reality that we're living in and there's no way to stop it for now. The low demand for gasoline will trigger all the consumer goods to decrease in prices too. It's the market shaker and its also the market's indicator on what it should do.

Everything that we're using came through with gasoline/oil. Transporting goods, generating products, manufacturing it so it's really a good news if gasoline demand goes on low.
Because of this, miners will become more profitable as the cost of electricity will become lower. Well, we are really run by the gasoline so I think there is still demand but not that much since a lot of new inventions now where they encourage people to become more green, where electric bikes and cars are being invented, solar power lamp and so on. The demand for gasoline will still be there, maybe its also under in a bear market but this is a good news for all of us.
It will turn to that result but it still varies depending on the country's rules and regulation about energy. But no doubt that lower cost of gasoline/oil will result to cut cost of generation charge for electricity.

Even with those inventions of electric bikes and cars, they still be run mostly by gasoline source as electricity is being run by that unless they will go fully adopt solar power. Maybe we'll see that in the near future.

i am gambling only for fun and i believe that many people will do the same  .
Congratulations, you're part of those 'few' gamblers that are for the entertainment.

if your only goal to play gambling is to have fun then you will be only doing it for that purpose . like me , i dont get distracted of thier jackpot prize because i know that it is nearly impossible to get it  if you dont spend serious amounts of cash  .
Yes, it will be my prime purpose for that because I know what I'm doing. There's just that feeling that I can't stop to crave to win for bigger amount but I know my place.

the real cure is not gambling but the right medicine for those ailments .

overall , playing online gambling is a good idea only if you are not sick or experience any illness , weather it is mental or physical because that can only cause more problems later on  .
There's what we call psychological treatment and that's what I'm talking about.

This seems to be unreliable
I tried to open the link but I can not open it
You can do a simple google research and articles will come out related to this news - rumor.

Russia Will Buy $10 Billion in Bitcoin, Ditch US Dollar and Become Huge Crypto Whale: Russian Economist

Russia investing in bitcoin is a good thing though am really not surprised as Russia is a country that is opened to technology without much sanctions as compared to US.
A country that will invest to bitcoin really is a good thing but I won't believe until official announcement will come out.
6797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats your thoughts on Security Token vs Utility Token? on: January 11, 2019, 12:56:40 AM
Honestly speaking, for now even with whitelist and KYC. we can't fully what those ico are up to, i have seen many ICO's concept and idea that are too ambitious, not saying that is a bad thing but the idea itself sounds like a sci-fi movie. afew example like reinvent aviation, genetic experiment and such. Each ICO are getting stranger then the other.

nowadays ICO market are so saturated, investor are getting more and more confuse on the newer ICO business model. Because ICO is so accessible to anyone (given that they have the capital to do so), any person can come out with a crazy idea then sell those token for short term profile.

Its getting out of control.
You have to deal and get used to it. Many of them are proposing their projects that way and in the end, how many from let's say 100 projects proposed very well became successful? not even 10 I guess.

The fact that ICOs are being abused for those business driven people that comes out with an 'idea' to sell their tokens in return of supporting the project they creating. The reality is their project is just the decoy and their real product is their tokens.
6798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats your thoughts on Security Token vs Utility Token? on: January 10, 2019, 06:04:30 AM
Why many ICO desperately trying to avoid their token being classified as Security ?
..
The other day i saw many exchange and listing site trying to avoid security token. whats the deal ?
IMHO, they are avoiding the regulations that they should pass and subject with.

Are Utility token general had more acceptance then security token despite their return in having an actually product and services ?
Yes, from the word itself 'utility' it has use but this really wasn't met by most of the tokens that are generated through ICOs. Some appears out of nowhere and tells that they have a working product and services.

But in reality, they really don't have.

Hi folks

how long does Blender need to respond in support?

Thanks and greetings
crashboy0815
I haven't used them and never contacted the support through their site but if you are thinking of the support here in the forum. Their account has been inactive since Nov. 2018 so I don't think they'll respond to you at any moment.

But if their support is looking at this thread, just include and post your concern so they will reply to it. Just like the other concerns, they received a reply from blender itself.
