681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some coins pump hard nowadays on: April 10, 2018, 12:08:44 PM
Have you realized the sharp increase in some coins like matchpool, ubiq and patientory. As far as I know there is no news related to these coins. Institutional investors or pump dump?

It's a good news then. But if I have such good coins, I'm not going for a pump and dump. I'll simply wait for the fourth quarter where the coins are expected to skyrocket really hard. But right now, the pump doesn't really help me because INS is still at $1 and can't go back to $3 just like 1 month ago.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is stabity year ? on: April 09, 2018, 11:37:07 AM

http://www.scmp.com/business/article/2140811/mature-cryptocurrency-market-draw-more-institutional-traders-year-analyst
...........
The value of cryptocurrencies has plunged more than 50 per cent this year, but some analysts are upbeat the asset class will grow more popular and mature this year, with a gradual increase in trading volume and decrease in volatility. ..........

No one can say if this is going to be the stability year. Because if you are going to base the value on the graph, you can already see that bitcoin still fluctuates really fast because it is volatile. But I still think that it will go up on the third and fourth quarter of this year.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bountyhunters, be careful with twitter accounts on: April 09, 2018, 11:35:22 AM
Now there are massive blocking of Twitter accounts.
Most often,  block accounts  when you to use mass-following. Blocks is forever!
Also do not use hashtags #ICO #Cryptocurrency etc
Be careful!

Thank you for this information. It seems that Twitter banning crypto ads is really a serious thing. That even from the massive following to hashtags they can already track you and ban you. This is going to be bad for people who are part of bounties and people who promote their projects. Be aware people!
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50'000 USD to invest NOW on: April 08, 2018, 02:33:15 PM
Hello guys,

I'm already in Crypto since march 2017 and made a decent amount of money to pay off my bills and some holidays.

I had a situation in my family few months ago where I received a lot of money from my dead granma.

I would like to chose ONE crypto and go "all in" with around 50k usd.

My goal is 1 year HODL and then withdraw most of it for an house or something like that.

Doing my own research I found ICON (ICX) as possible 10-20x cryptocurrency in this given timeframe.

PS: Please do not suggest unknown or shitcoins. (I know those may make a good money but I am not confident on putting so much money in these).

DZ

EDIT: I already invested few days ago and actual portfolio is like this:

5500 Wan
5500 ICX
1.5 Bitcoin
35 ETH
170 NEO
30 LTC
7'500 Ripple
10'000 Stellar Lumens
10'000 Cardano
30 Monero
2'500 IOTA
600 Waves
40'000 Envion ICO tokens
40'000 WePower ICO tokens
250'000 CarVertial tokens
150'000 Sharpay Tokens

You are actually investing on the right coins. OMG. Keep up the good work because you are actually using your brain. But I hope those ICO tokens are legit because you actually bought a lot of it and I hope it works. You've done research very well and there is a high possibility that you can become a millionaire in the next few years.
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 91,000 by 2020? on: April 08, 2018, 02:28:02 PM
Fundstrat founder and strategist Tom Lee recently announced that bitcoin prices would reach $ 91,000 by March 2020. What do you think about this prediction? Please comment on this issue?

Well, that is a good speculation especially if there is a high chance that it will happen. But no one still knows how is the market going to move. But since bitcoin went to $18,000 USD in December 2017, that is not impossible to happen. And if that happens, most of the coins will follow as well.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: April 08, 2018, 02:24:16 PM
ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.

It's not a good trade for me. Especially that Ethereum is not yet fully recovered. You should've waited for 3rd or 4th quarter before selling and buying some ADA.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best altcoin on: April 06, 2018, 08:51:44 AM
Coindruid poll result.

https://www.coindruid.com/

25/01/2018

Time for an update. To be honest I was not expecting to recieve a large number of votes, but the number of votes have been quite significant. 56 votes of which 12 are solidly for Ripple. I had asked for a coin to rise in 3 days. The price of Ripple has stayed more or less the same.  So that is it. For the rest of the results

Ripple    12
Ethereum    7
Spectrecoin    4
Bitcoin    4
Monero    2
NXT    1.

Ripple is an interesting product, but I had not expected it to be so dominant in the polls. Everyone knows everything about Ethereum, but Spectrecoin is a different matter . Spectrecoin is supposed to take us completely into the anonymous world. It can even be used in countries that ban TOR. Very interesting. As countries ban cryptocurrency this might be very important. But for what it is worth it is getting 4 votes.

Ok for the results on ICOs,

Fintab          3

Opporty        3

Blunner        2

Potentiam    1

Admittedly I should have given more options ,  but hey the site has just started. Am putting up a lot more options now.I will get the next results and try to expand on it.

For the results for PreICOS

Omnitude     3

Flashmoni    3

Babb             2

Snagride      1

Will increase the number of options and try to write something on the winners. For today this it.

Please vote . I have increased the options available. If anyone is interested in adding any particular coins/ICOs/PreICOs please inform me.

The result of your survey is just the perspective of the people. No one can really say what is the best altcoin because it always changes because of the price and the trends of the graphs. But you can know what are the most promising coins or top coins that are worth investing and will become valuable in the future.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple praised in The New York Times on: April 06, 2018, 08:47:56 AM
"This week, those requests, along with the more than 35,000 others listed on DonorsChoose.org, a crowdfunding website for school and classroom projects, were fully funded thanks to a single $29 million donation.

“A million students, overwhelmingly in low-income communities, are going to feel the impact of this gift within the next few weeks,” said Charles Best, chief executive of the nonprofit group, which he founded in 2000 while teaching history and English in a Bronx classroom.

The gift, by far the largest ever received by the charity, came after the site reached out to Ripple, a virtual currency company that has amassed wealth at an astonishing pace, and its executives."

Thoughts? Always good to see positive crypto in the news.

Well, I guess ripple deserve that recognition from anyone who is involved to cryptocurrencies. Good project development, a good team and always gives a promising output. I hope it grows bigger in the upcoming quarters of this year.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: April 05, 2018, 02:19:33 PM
Hello guys,

here i want to start a discussion about the possibility of getting rich with cryptos. if you start off with an amount of lets say max. 1k i dont think so. If we say you are able to invest like 10-100k you can still earn alot of money but in this case you are already very wealthy. Here is no enough space below this post to either say "Hey man you got it right" or just prove me wrong. leeeeeeeeeeeeets go  Wink

I don't know how can you not get rich with cryptocurrencies. Especially if you are joining campaigns on this forum. Because first, you don't have to put any money and once you received the tokens just keep on holding. And if you don't belong on this forum, you simply invest on top coins like waves, stratis, and xrp. How is that even hard?
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most crypto friendly countries in Europe on: April 05, 2018, 02:01:16 PM
I found this article, and I am just curios do you agree with the author? Are these countries most crypto friendly in Europe?

https://icoguide.com/en/blog/5-most-crypto-friendly-countries-in-europe

Honestly, I don't understand why other countries like China and Russia don't want to be friends with cryptocurrency. As if it is going to have any bad effects on the countries economy. If you guys know there will be a negative effect on the country, please inform me.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: April 04, 2018, 02:00:36 PM
What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

I also disagree with this move. I am also not comfortable with giving my personal information and picture in the KYC. I feel like asking for it is too much just for tokens. And I also agree on your point about they should inform the people if there is going to be a KYC or not. As of now, I joined two campaigns and the announcement about KYC is always at the end of the campaign.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to report a scam airdrop? on: April 04, 2018, 08:07:50 AM
The Dentacoin Airdrop asking me to enter my private key of my etherium wallet (an hour ago) in order to automatically
sign the special encrypted message that will verify that it is actually my wallet.
And emphasizing that they will not send DCN Token to fake wallets.
Also, they put a note saying:
Note: This is safe.  We DO NOT use, store or collect your personal data (such as private key).
This form is fully encrypted and secured by the SSL standard and MD5 hashing protocol.
No one will be able to access your wallet and you can update your wallet address.

I know this is a scam because you could just sign your wallet to prove it's yours.
I'm worried to other 164k telegram users, i know other users might get scammed...

I really don't know how and where to report a scam airdrop.. please give me some advice what to do.
thanks!

There is no way you can report an airdrop scam. But you can avoid it by doing research on that project. And I also recommended you ask for advice from the experts on this forum.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ripple when it is $3 on: April 03, 2018, 02:30:11 PM
I am crying right now, because I realize that am the stupidest man alive, I bought ripple when it is $3 and now it is 0.50 I can't sell off right now because I will make the same mistake I made before. Is their anybody that made the mistake like me I need you to raise your hand up Tongue

Well, you didn't do any mistakes because you didn't sell your coins. You're only going to make mistakes if you buy it at 3 and sell it at 0.50. Ripple is a very respectable coin and still in the top 5 coins right now so I don't think you have any problems right now. The only thing you have to do is to keep on holding your coins and grab some money if needed and if it is also profitable.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k in 2 months? on: April 03, 2018, 02:24:47 PM
Do you think eth can reach 2k usd in 2 months time?

I think it's not going to happen in 2 months but I think it's going to reach $2000 this 2018. Most probably in the 4th quarter of this year.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: April 03, 2018, 02:18:56 PM
Do you think the market will stay green or turn red?

It not an easy call

I say green

Sometimes it will turn green and sometimes it will turn red. And it is just normal here in cryptocurrency world. You don't have to worry especially when it turns red.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange platform is best for cryptocurrency? on: April 02, 2018, 02:09:38 PM
Hello guys please I need your suggestions which exchange can you recommend currently that is user friendly and cost of transactions fee not too high!!!!! Wink

For I, the best exchange platforms for cryptocurrencies are Binance and KuCoin. These two exchange sites have a good reputation and their transaction fees are not too high and low. These two are also considered as one of the safest exchange sites.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH discussion !!! on: April 02, 2018, 02:05:35 PM
HOW MUCH IT CAN LOSE ETH IN APRIL ?

I think it can go to less than $300. Because the decrease in value of the coins right now is really high. But that doesn't matter because it only means you can buy more Ethereum and hold again for the next few months until it becomes profitable.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is about to be friends with cryptocurrency! on: April 01, 2018, 02:18:33 PM
Russian government believe that it is necessary to legalize operations with cryptocurrency. They say that it will help the state to fight illegal money transfers. Moreover, central bank has the same opinion but with the condition of creating own russian cryptocurrency. What do you think about it?

Russia being friends with cryptocurrency is actually good for me because it can have a positive effect on the value of bitcoin. And I wish the fight for illegal money transfers is true in order for us to avoid any forms of fraud or scam. Lastly, for the creation of own Russian cryptocurrency, I think there is nothing wrong with that.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How volatile is BitCoin? on: March 29, 2018, 01:54:36 PM
How does the BitCoin rise in future depending on how volatile is BitCoin?

Bitcoin is volatile. The graphs can show its development throughout the years and there are so many up and downs of the coin. But its greatest point is just this December 2017 where it reached 18k. For me, it's volatility also helps as long as it is a positive effect on the investors and for everyone who is involved in cryptocurrency. For me, even though its value is around $8,000 it is still positive because the investors can buy more and its value last December proved that it has a future. And if you are going to compare its value to other years where bitcoin existed, $8,000 is not a bad value at all.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: CAN THIS BE TRUE on: March 29, 2018, 05:40:22 AM
But reading between the lines , isn't this a restriction ? or a control measure?

these are merely a control measure because of the growing frauds or scams associated with a lot of ICO conducted daily, i believe this is a right move as well as from facebook and google because for the cryptocurrency move forward again and start to rise the credibility should have been placed and the trust must be given as well from the community, there are a lot of people that are still uncertain of cryptocurrency because of those shit punks doing fraudulent projects.

But are the fraud or fake ICOs the main reason why they ban the adverts of cryptocurrency? Do you believe that the main purpose of this is the rise the credibility of ICOs on social media and to get the trust of the community?
