I'm not using much GTX 1070 so I cannot cover all branches, but my current MSI GTX 1070 Seahawk and EVGA 1070 SC are quite good.
They're easy on getting high OC, and very stable!

I would go with your setup 1, but I suggest some modifications as following:
1. Asus Prime motherboard z-270-A $155
For 6 GPUs, no need this expensive MB, choose GIGABYTE GA-H110-D3A or Biostar TB250-BTC Ver. 6.x, both are around 100-105$
2. Windows 10 USB $110 + Sandisk 128GB SSD $65
If you dont use SSD to install the wallet, so just buy a 32Gb USB to install Linux (cost around 35$)
3. Frame (fans necessary?) $200
I dont understand the idea why we have to pay that much for a frame (maybe you mean a 4U rack mount rig).
If that's open frame, make it simple, it costs just about 30$.

Hi everyone, I only have 3-4 months in Cryptopcurrency, I do trading, and investing in some ICOs also. I just start thinking about Mining and interested in that, but I wonder that is it too late to invest in this field since I know that more and more people get involved in Mining and it more difficult to Mine, reduce the profit,v.v...
Could you guys give me some advice, I really appreciate that, and whether I join in this, what is the best now to mine: I consider between ETH and Zcash, may be you guys have the others option.

I think the electric price in Vietnam is cheap (I expect it should be 1700VND/kwh). So at current price, basically you could ROI in about 7 months for ETH mining. Many people asked this question and some of them never joined mining, and in the end, they regret about it. Not sure about the future price, so dont need to predict it, just do it and create the future! |

I cannot sync wallet as well as have a bad result on mining pool.
We are experience a wallet syncing issue, you can fix this by add the following to your shekel.conf file if you haven't already: addnode=108.61.119.253:49472 addnode=185.35.67.53:49472 addnode=45.32.214.237:49472 addnode=45.76.45.45:49472 I added this already, but it did not work! So any suggestions? |

GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (Samsung) OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Power Limit: 72% (around 82-90W) Core Clock: +160 VRam Clock: 680 (vram it can be push to 920-930 depend by algoritm & what miner it i use) Video Driver: 388.59 GPU0 60C Sol/s: 306.9 Sol/W: 3.45 - 3.50 Avg: 297.7 I/s: 159.8 Sh: 2.20
Mining speed it is around ~300 Sol/s with this miner, with other miner it betewen 270-300. Tuning done in MSI Afterburner it depend by each video card & be ware dstm it sems it will not work with same tuning use for exemple in excavator or in EWBF or in Ccminer, same each algo it have diferite requirement  cheers Thank you very much! 300 sol/s with just 72% power limit is far from what I expect! Be cause I've ever tested P106-100 6G for ZEC mining, it got 295sol/s with EWBF, but not this dstm's miner, then I move all P106-100 to mine ETH. So, I will take a shot next week with MSI GTX 1060 3G, hope it works! |

I have a blank and cool environment for setting up a mining Hardware . About 3 x 4 meters and has 2 cooler . I also have free electric power
Is investing in mining right for me?
I was looking for an investor to start mining. but I did not succeed.
Now I want to get a big loan to start mining.A $ 50,000 loan. With 2-year refund and about 15% profit return
I need guidance before starting. Is this venture wise?
Can I benefit from this? And pay the loan?
I want to use graphics card to mine.

Hi designerhadi, I started with smaller budget but up to now, my investment on mining almost the same as yours. The loan with 2-year refund, I think it's possible for you, but 15% profit return, is that too high? I think 10% should be reasonable. Basically, with current price, GPU mining could get ROI in about average 7.5-8 months with your free electric power. We could not predict the future and next year price, but instead of predicting, just do it and create the future! About your facilities, I dont think 3x4 sizing is enough for all your rigs. 50,000$ if you're going with RX580, you could have about 17 rigs 8x RX580, or if you wanna build GTX1070 rig, you could get about 11 rigs. If you could manage it, it should be nice! |

I think do investment in this way could help you earn a lot during the up trend, I'm not sure about 5 years period, is that too long?
I've ever read the book "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham with comments from Warren Buffet and 1 other famous investor, they also discussed about this method, it may be effective in short term, not for that long.

No. You had your own thread and it had to be locked due to constant abuse. 99% of the accounts in there were just copy and pasting content that was just complete rubbish not even related to bitcoin and not a single one of you reported any of the abuse. In fact, many of you were happy to partake in it once you realised you could get away with account farming and sig spamming in there and as such you cannot be trusted to have your own section right now and you've only got yourselves to blame.
Thank hilariousetc for figuring us in details! Some of us join forum not that long so we dont really know what's exact problems with the locked thread. So we clearly understand now. Some of good members are still here and we are trying to make the Vietnamese community here better! Hope that one day we could have Vietnamese thread again. |

I understand that you asked this question because GTX 1080 Ti is the state-of-the-art and it could achieve high hashrate in almost every algorithms.
That why along with RX580 which already was 80% my budget, I buit 2 rigs GTX 1070 (also a flexible GPU) as well. With this 2 rigs, I spent like each 1 week to mine some rare coins, then I switch mostly between: VTC, FTC, XZC, VIVO.
I suggest that you stick with mining 1-2 coins in for example 25 days/month, and the rest 5 days you may consider some low difficulty/rare coins. This works for me when I mined FTC in August and September.

Do you have any performance proof? If it's the case, please show us here before we could have a deal. I expect that P104-100 could achieve ~30 Mh/s. I heard that P104-100 will be released this month, and I'm waiting for it because it's hard to purchase more P106-100 now. |

I think I have seen some recent ICOs about decentralized exchanges suc as: Algory, Bitmore, Gexcryto...The idea is nice, I'm not sure could they be competitive with current exchanges which have top volumes like Poloniex, Bittrex and Bitfinex, but hope they could have successful crowdfunding.

Your budget is really big. Honestly to say, I think you should spend a part of it for buying coins, because if you invest all that much money on mining, it a very big farm with maybe about 320 rigs + electric bills.
For this farm, I think it's hard to handle without some professional guys support you. Me and 3 others friends were hired by a group of people who want to build a farm with mostly same budget as yours. We spend almost one month and a half to finish all.
