681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Data suggesting more than 95% traders are losing on: March 27, 2021, 07:44:45 PM
Funny to see that most obvious option has the lowest votes. I'm sure almost all of us have gained and lose while trading that's the reality. We just need to be more in positive trades than negative ones.
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price action trading on: March 27, 2021, 07:30:37 PM
Well if you focused more on gaining the fundamental knowledge in trading you will build your capacity to become a skilled trader and your focused on making gain at all cost will shift to gaining experience. Despite the fact that the primary aim of trading is for profits we should not undermine the place of risk that is to say the market can go in whatever direction.
Wilt all knowledge and being in with everything what is going on still people need to be able to control their emotions. And controlling emotions is best learned with experience.
683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I coded a bot that buys bitcoin every time Elon Musk tweets about bitcoin and op on: March 26, 2021, 08:03:50 PM
...
I appreciate the results of your hard work, hope your robot is useful for you and others...
I hardly ever use a robot for trading, I am afraid because most of the stories I have heard are not profitable. but a robot to buy Bitcoin when Elon tweets is a great idea 'lol'.
It really a good idea and gives me a lot of ideas. Is it possible to make a robot that will follow tens accounts. I just wonder... It looks something like that would work better if you implement it for smaller coins.
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: March 26, 2021, 08:00:30 PM
I think that all traders before entering the market did some reading on how to trade, investments and on how you can try to understand the market, the statistic that 95% of all traders lose would start to drop significantly, many enter doing gambling in trading and it is not the right thing to do, some take classes in academies and still are still part of the 95% statistic that they lose.

If a person decides to learn trading by educating themselves by reading market speculative authors, they would learn some strategies of how to react to certain events, if only Technical Analysis is studied without having any idea what is happening in the world or how it can react to fundamental news, the AT will fail, like the Fundamental Analysis, I think that trading is a career that every day you keep learning new things.
From my personal experience trading with amount you are ok to lose is the best way since you don't feel the pressure. Those kind of emotion define most of trades.
685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategies to trade new listing on top exchange on: March 26, 2021, 07:56:29 PM
Please share your tips on some good strategies that can applied in trading new listings.
trading in new listing projects is very skeptical mate wherein even we says it was listed on some top exchanges,, because mostly nowadays are always good at start up but suddenly the growth rate will fluctuate back to the bottom after day or two and cannot recover again ... So much better to rely on some projects such those who already gained trust in my opinion rather than expecting something in some new listing . Because for sure you can obtain profits in trusted one and your money is really safe.. Unlike new listings which is mostly ppl who expecting good profits end up nothing with regrets. So if iwere you mate be smart..
Depends from the project to project but mostly what happens is people buy the rumors sell the news. It happens a lot when we speak about listing on big exchanges since they are probably listed on some small exchanges.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: March 25, 2021, 06:38:23 PM
It seems like we are going to stick to online learning for some time. Well online learning started with youtube being used for that. It makes me sad that I think that will become standard in future.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online Gambling 'or' Day trading cryptos- Which one is more lucrative? on: March 25, 2021, 06:34:19 PM
Online Gambling cannot be compared to trading, as it is primarily entertainment, not earnings. At the same time, trading is a job, and accordingly, it is inherent in the trading discipline. Trading will only become similar to Online Gambling if you treat it like a casino, increasing the order by 2 times when you close a trade unsuccessfully.
To be honest for most of people trading is like gambling since they can't control emotions. When you get your emotion under control  then you can call yourself a trader and things can go better from there.

I call it gambling every time I see someone is risking something to make more of it! So trading is gambling, and like any other gambling game, it has rules and regulations!
When you trade against whom you are trading? When I say in order to make a profit in trading, someone else needs to lose, would I be right? Now tell me how that can be different from poker? I will tell you the difference, in poker, you can play against 8 people on the table, on the exchange you are trading against hundreds or thousands... And unlike in poker where you see the amount of chips in front of every player, in trading, you don't know the capital of the players!

Well mostly you are right but there is a part of it and people can live for trading if they really focus on it. Being up to date with news and with all involving the market it gives you a edge over most of people trading.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins for Investment on: March 24, 2021, 06:41:04 PM
You can follow $DOT, $KSM, and $POLS, I like their project. But, I think it's too risk to invest in this year, you can wait until bearish moment if you want to invest in Altcoins.
It really depends how much higher will they go. If the % are same like in last bull run we could say we are yet early. So there is maybe still some room to get profits. If you look long term it doesn't really matter.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: March 24, 2021, 06:38:22 PM
If you are willing to take a risk invest in OMI it's new coin in NFT field with a lot of partnership. It has a really good potential but it is risky. I put small amount we will see what happens.

691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 24, 2021, 05:50:23 PM
You can trade crypto futures and even use leverage so it is very possible nowadays. I think trading capital ultimately depends on the trader and how much they are willing to lose per trade.

With futures trading you can trade with more capital which you have but the future trading is also risky and it can make your portfolio to zero if the trade gone wrong.
Better to do spot trading with low capital and slowly grow your trading portfolio.
I do leverage trading x10 with 50$ which become 550$ in total. I try to be around 10$ a day in profit. I don't have much money but with this amount I'm comfortable to play. Somedays I win somedays I lose but at the end all is learning to be better in the future.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ADA and eth competitors get dumped if/when Ethereum 2.0 comes out? on: March 23, 2021, 05:40:31 PM
Or will they remain stable at least?

I think I like ADA anything better than what Eth can bring out. However I hold both. I started out with more eth but have just been stacking ADA because I like staking it for passive income.

You guys have any thoughts on this?

First of all, ETH will be "converted" to ETH 2.0 so it will just continue to be the same currency, but will be only improved.

In my opinion, the implementation of ETH 2.0 will have a very big impact on the price of ADA and BNB, because both projects are almost in direct competition of ETH.
I am not sure if it will cause the ADA and BNB prices to fall, but it will definitely slow them down.

As for the ETH price, after upgrading and lowering the transaction fees should skyrocketing and chase BTC very quickly.
It would impact the price to go down for ADA and BNB but ETH 2.0 is not even close. Until then a lot of stuff can happen. If ETH2.0 isn't up for next year competition will take some of it's market share.

I don't think soo... but also ETH2.0 is not so close. They have a lot of work to do until it comes alive. Until then ADA or some other can get a big share of ETH costumers.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with the NFT hype? on: March 22, 2021, 07:33:22 PM
.....It seems to me that companies are joining the NFT hype with the aim of making money in the least time possible.
This is one of the main reason why some of the early NFT supporters would pay an insane amount of money for a digital "art" that looks normal to us and not worth even a penny. The NFT market would still be struggling right now if they haven't done that. They want to attract as many popular artists and companies involved in the industry as they can.
NFT maybe don't have sense to us but I believe that new generation will find it normal and I really think this will be huge in future. It's same like having pokemon cards etc. I would rather have pokemon NFT then a card since is easier.

Thanks for your opinion!

Any thoughts/predictions about Pundi X next monday?

Smiley

698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: March 22, 2021, 06:52:59 PM
In my opinion investment always have upper hand on trading. If you are opting for both investment and trading then it should be 80/20 ratio. See the stats, traders mostly end up in loss while long term investors are always in profit. You need to study this to understand the phenomena.
Investment take more longer time than trade and your profit will worth higher than you trade, but I like and interested only with trading and try to earn profit every day without have to hold few week or month, I need money every day for my family and try how to get much profit as soon possible and always try to short term trading.
At the end it comes to that, do you need money now or you can wait. Investment can pay off better but it takes time and also trading is really hard to be good at.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi crypto (legit?) Or a hoax? on: March 21, 2021, 08:38:31 PM
A lot of people feel unsure about this project, when a lot of people feel unsure about a project I just end up not investing into it, there is no reason to put money into something that so many people feel so unsure about, what would be the benefit of that?

This is why even if Pi has a potential to be great in the future, I do not plan on buying it, I will not regret if it goes 100x in the future, there are others that could make me that kind of money for sure (if I can find them and invest into them) and that is why I rather invest into something that the community hypes and likes and promotes all together instead of something that some invest with a fear and others do not invest and call it a scam, that doesn't look or sound like a project that would be profitable if you ask me and even if it is profitable I rather not take that huge risk.
You can't even buy the coin it's just being "mined" and also there is not a option to send coins. It's just a bad state for now. The only thing they have is a lot of publicity.

I had similar problem but if you really want it there is always a way around. Try VPN maybe it could work... There is also a option for you to get Estonian electric citizenship. I think with that you can bypass some of the problems. Good luck bro.
