681  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [100 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: December 08, 2013, 11:21:42 AM
So let me understand this.. when Slushes pool shows my workers @ 0/mh for at least the last ten rounds (last 48 hours it turns out)  but my miners have been accepting hashes the whole time (like I just discovered is happening) the thinking here is to just reset my miners and hope I start getting shares for x amount of time until it stops again???
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: An (even more) optimized version of cpuminer on: December 04, 2013, 01:08:10 PM
Solo mining for the first time here.

When pool mining the cmd window shows my cpu info and reprints it when pool finds block.

Solo mining prints info just once (no blocks yet i get it) but how do i know its not just frozen?

It just says bind thread 8 times  (0-7) thats it. No mh reading or anything.

Is my little comp dead in the water or is this how cpuminer works while solo mining?
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / transaction fees on: December 02, 2013, 08:02:09 PM
A couple of months ago .001 transaction fee seemed fine... Now it seems like robbery.
If I fiddle with iit I can get it to .0005 but still way large... Wtf

It started as "a fraction of a Penney" now its much much more.

Well I've got my Blades on another getwork friendly pool now.

Like I said my BFL stuff is hashing away great with minepeon on Eligius right now... it never stopped.

686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: November 29, 2013, 07:06:15 PM
I started today on ex_mac's Pool - http://qrk.mine-pool.net/.... anyone know how long it takes to show up on the payout list?

These blocks go fast yet I don't see my address?

I'm at a humble 240/kh so I don't expect much but I did expect some kind of portion.

Which of  the Cryptos will the mine?

I use:

screen -dmS bfg bfgminer <your command options>

Then whenever I log in,  to connect to the BFG instance, just use:

screen -x bfg

Hope this helps. Smiley

I'm guessing you were unaware of my level of n00b   Cheesy

This string placed into the Terminal window did not work:

sudo screen -dmS bfg bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334 -u <address> -p <pass> -S all

What have I missed in your example?

Make sure you are in the directory with the bfgminer executable and try this: (note the ./ in front of it)
Code:
sudo screen -dmS bfg ./bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334 -u <address> -p <pass> -S all

Then:
Code:
sudo screen -r bfg
to connect to it. To release the session, hold CTRL-A, tap D.

screen command not found...

I'm guessing I need this: Terminal multiplexor with VT100/ANSI terminal emulation

I'll install on my next reboot Smiley

I still cant open the already running BFG terminal which is hidden when I reconnect thru remote...

I think this is a Linux 'issue'/'feature'. I run a Debian-based system and If I RDP into it on my Windows box and launch stuff, any thing. And then use RDP over SSH from my phone. None of the stuff I've opened will show up. And vice versa...so at night I have to remember to remote in on my phone in case I need to later restart something.  Undecided

*At least it sounds like you're asking about the same thing I've noticed.

Spot on but I don't like your solution  Tongue

I am remoting into an Ubuntu box with a Win7 system... Basically 1 or 2 of my usb erupters goes dead every 2 weeks and I need to reset the system to get it all humming...

But where there is  a need like now I just need to check the running BFG miner to see what is going on but like you said the terminal window is not showing...

When I remote into my Ubuntu BFG rig the terminal window running BFGminer is not there... I had been just shutting it down and restarting but now I need to trouble shoot why all my equipment seems to be running fine while my pool shows it's not so I need to review the already running terminal.

Kindly help the linux n00b ?

Also how are people getting the terminal to display all their hardware.. I can't drag the window larger and can only see the first 6 or 7 pieces of equipment.

Right click your mouse over the window, then you get a settings menue (look in properties)

Okay I can make it big now thanks Smiley

695  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Refunding[Live-Group Buy].5BTC = 2.8Gh/s KNCminer Jupiter *11 Sold on: October 01, 2013, 07:35:06 PM
I have been refunded .504 BTC

I'm not sure why it's less for people who's machine was never purchased and though I will never do business with this fellow again I hope he does well and over comes his issues.

*You gave an invalid Txid or not on the list.

What you are saying is that even though I have a valid Txid I do not get a refund because you never put me on the list?

I have sent you pm's repeatedly and listed the info in this thread repeatedly and yet My info on your google list is still yellow which shows your doubt....

Why has this come to a stand still?

Just link your TXid in here.

You'd think that me already doing that twice in this thread and 3 times in pm would be enough....

I guess the fact that it is already in the google spread sheet is also not enough...

ragingazn628 on your goggle list you put "Which list I don't see u"

I had signed up for Jupiter 2 but you were gone and I never got on any list...

ragingazn628 Why are you not recognizing Jupiter 2 people?

Well I'm new here so I need to heed the advice of those before me and follow.

Please refund me as well.

original Transaction id 2d0da5ae9908ec80f0ef4e15516fc6d5ba1d58ba19774d79a8b3af7e9a8d85c5
Refund to 1Az964w4NAibYXBM5zJkRRvmUrwgGmZMdH
1 share @ .6 bc

I don't even see you on the list at all?

Your google list requires me to check:

"KnCMiner will refund base on the date of refund's price only. *
This means that your refund will be also based on on the price only.

    Agreed

This is a required question"

Jupiter 2 has never been purchased so how can I in good conscience check that?

And why should I accept less BC when the machine has never been purchased?
