101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: August 16, 2018, 11:13:40 PM
There's no doubt that the NEX ICO is one of this year’s most highly anticipated offerings. It is a decentralized exchange on the NEO platform that will allow all sorts of NEO tokens to be exchanged directly from a wallet. It does this by combining Blockchain with an off-chain matching engine.

There will be no pre-sale of tokens. At the time of writing no details have been given about the public sale dates either, although the dates are expected to be released soon.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: August 15, 2018, 07:13:11 AM
I always advise you to be able to see the composition of the team first and also see how the team's performance, we can not immediately trust a bounty program if without trusting the concept and performance. so I think that's what we must understand first.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum's Price on: August 15, 2018, 07:10:56 AM
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum printed a possible Hanging Man on the daily close. Could indicate a reversal & a bottom. If we can close today much higher we are in for a reversal.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: August 14, 2018, 09:32:56 PM
I REALLY like Ethereum's utility. It's clearly a better technology than BTC. However, I'm old enough to remember betamax video cassettes. Apparently they were better than VHS, but VHS caught on and became the industry standard, while betamax kinda died in the dark.

I am hoping history doesn't repeat itself, and to that end have bought ether.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin regaining dominance? on: August 14, 2018, 01:46:43 PM
Most altcoins are created for a short period for a fast gain. Look at the coinmarketcap site, you will not recognise half of the coins there = fast turn-over. However, a little bit solid altcoins like ethereum and bcash dropped hugely so I think people are escaping to the safest alternative which is bitcoin.
many have already bought assets with very large capital when bitcoin has very low prices, and the more popular bitcoin is that many believe it and already believe in bitcoin, therefore bitcoin still dominates even though prices are very low.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: August 14, 2018, 11:45:59 AM
We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stacked in holding.
I was very shocked when I woke up and immediately saw the market, all the coins were almost in red there was none in the green, my assets were all losing because it went too far and I had thought maybe the increase of the previous year was too big so when I saw the price now it felt too small .
107  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin longevity on: August 13, 2018, 03:14:43 PM
The next five months, that is, before the end of this year, should show what will happen to bitcoin in the future.

The next five years is rather too short for the strong competition I believe you are talking of. For certain people, it could seem as if bitcoin is losing its popularity because price has not pumped but I don't think this is exactly the true situation. The digital currency is facing greater challenges this year because of the soaring price from last year and so, many questions are being asked.
What's dangerous here is that, if your bitcoin cryptoCurrency is exposed to malware, then the bitcoin in the wallet can be hacked by irresponsible people. The risk of being accidentally erased is also susceptible to be experienced by bitcoi owners so that when it happens it cannot be traced to where it is lost. People who are experts in the field of computerization can also be very vulnerable to stealing bitcoin money stored in the wallet.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: August 13, 2018, 01:29:40 PM
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons
some bitcoin characters are limited supply, where there will only be 21 million Bitcoin spread throughout the world, not created by the Central Bank / government, but by a party whose real identity is unknown, not produced or controlled by an individual, group or company. The above characteristics prove that in addition to its digital form, Bitcoin is more or less similar to gold where we all know that gold can be invested.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your plan? on: August 12, 2018, 05:05:00 PM
I will keep hold it. What should I fear ?. I have a strong belief that crypto can still survive. This situation will soon pass. I'm a newbie too. I still have much to learn here and there is still much I have not got from Bitcoin.
the number of businesses starting to receive BTC payments has increased. Although all of these businesses are still in the minority, there are big names who have already done it. That can be the initial capital to try to invest in bitcoin, choose an exchange that really believes that you can monitor it properly.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 12, 2018, 04:25:22 PM
I think people getting wise to Tether is just about to explode.  Probably 50% reduction in all cryptos in the next two days.  Mark my words.
it's impossible just because the market is red, you think it's the end of the bitcoin era, it's a good opportunity if we can use it by buying bitcoin and your job is just to wait for the price to rise after that you can resell.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 11, 2018, 01:44:53 PM
Bitcoin is experiencing a decline at this time the market is so unstable that the movement of Bitcoin up and down may be due to some issues or news that to this day dropped bitcoin and the price of bitcoin is now at 7k to 8k the highest price will bitcoin return again below 8k? we see within 3 days that will come on the bitcoin market.
The progress of crypto's development as a payment tool is step by step towards what is expected by the general public, namely, cryptocurrency as a means of payment. But now the market conditions have dropped, up to a few dollars, I do not know what happened maybe this is a natural thing when many issues rush to come.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Globalization on: August 10, 2018, 07:48:50 AM
Globalization was told for a very long time. Probably, this will be a new stage in the development of our civilization. This is a new form of human interaction. Perhaps the whole world will be without defenders and borders, without taxes and barriers. Bitcoin will take in such a world a worthy place of the world currency. Developing new technologies will help create a more developed society where there are not very magazine and very poor. Regulation will occupy cars, they are not expensive for the corrupt. We need a new world, it is perhaps a new and unified religion, which will affect all of humanity ... no longer warms, humanity can be really civilized. What do you think all about it? Maybe Bitcoin is part of the globalization plan?
this can be called the progress and advancement of technology and every progress will definitely be sacrificed about our habits which are considered quite complicated and prefer to simple things like this digital currency. A revolution that is indeed good but there are still many shortcomings and there are still many that need to be improved.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than banknotes on: August 07, 2018, 01:45:26 PM
The infographic shows the 10 most popular banknotes worldwide with its anti-counterfeiting security.
There are thousands of million dollars counterfeit circulating worldwide. Just in The US the FED said 7.3 We conclude that the total value of counterfeits in circulation at any moment is approximately $70 million or about one note in 10,000, and is highly unlikely to exceed
$200 million, or about 2.5 in 10,000.

it's costly for the society (more regulations, more resources to deter, individual or business accepting it accidentally >direct loss,...) Counterfeit money exists since the Ancient Rome at least, and it can destroy a government and its economy. Even the Nazis were counterfeiting the USD and GBP (Operation Bernhard) If only 1% of your circulating currency is fake your government is out. It can't borrow money anymore, business will stop to accept the currency, and since it's the only one, then the economy will be dead.

Do you know how many Bitcoin has ever been counterfeited since10 years? ZERO !

Mass production in large quantities is not impossible. Distribution becomes easier. Without insulation, without limits. Beyond countries that are separated by distance and time. This makes bitcoin better than paper currency
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Global financial crisis on: August 07, 2018, 12:47:06 PM
I'm expecting a new crisis to arise in the next 4-6 years, i think what's happening in the loan and reposition industry creates a pathological state.
Banks are still feeling too safe for what they're doing, their mistakes will sooner or later bring on a decline.
Also considering austrian cycle theory, i'd say we're in the boom. Soon gold and solid cryptos might be the go-to when it comes to keeping your money safe.

How long do you guys think we have until we face the next crisis?
Since 2007 almost no country has reported a decrease in the debt to GDP ratio. Debt which includes Government debt, corporate debt and household debt increases significantly. Some people who think of moving on bitcoin are increasingly hoping to improve everything, and as a result they have changed drastically in terms of an economy that is proven that bitcoin is very helpful.
115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market has run down again on: August 06, 2018, 03:28:09 PM
I'm thinking. that since July 17, the bitcoin market and all crypto-currencies can breathe a little and relax there is a movement up and now the price is already 7500$ BTC. I believe that soon we will see positive news about bitcoin from different countries and the price will rise smoothly. I am very happy about this event.

Haha, Yeah you're right. rising bitcoin price on July 17th making happy bitcoin holders. I myself feel it. on that day the bitcoin price increase is quite fast and today also bitcoin prices are quite stable, I think bitcoin prices will continue to rise.
I believe that bitcoin will fly to the moon, I just need to be patient and hold my bitcoin.
I tried to read some of the latest news that turns out that some countries that reject or accept bitcoin are increasing so that the market volume is decreasing and has an impact on the decreasing price of bitcoin itself.
116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: August 06, 2018, 03:01:50 PM
It is hard to predict price shifts of Bitcoin, altcoin market evaluation is even harder. The only clues we have are bitcoin related news.
But news alone is not enough to fully predict the price. I will give you an example: scaling upgrade is scheduled to be executed in August.
Normally this would be bullish news - but I expect that right before scaling upgrade will be initiated there will be mass panic.
Newbies, skeptics and care bears will liquidate short positions to get rid of BTC in case that something would go wrong.

In trading Bitcoin, a trader must have a goal so as not to be confused. If you have decided to become a Bitcoin Trader, then you have to bury deeply the soul of your Idealist trader. Because here you collect money from the difference between selling and buying, not saving Bitcoin.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 06, 2018, 02:33:46 PM
I always have a mindset that gambling is fun and entertaining, I used to played for profit but now I played for entertained myself, I like to share my point of view about gambling, but I afraid when I introduce gambling to someone who cant control himself or herself then it can become a problem, and I can become the one that make him/her become addicted

So in one my hand I'd like people to enjoy gambling but in one hand I afraid it can turned into disaster and I could the person that cause the person become addicted, so I kind of confused when someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?
this is everyone's right, when inviting is one of our awards as a friend I don't think it is a problem, because gambling has no top priority and anyone can join.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: August 03, 2018, 12:10:26 PM
banks will no longer be needed because if we save money in a bank with a nominal that is not added in the past five years the value will decrease, even if it is cut out by monthly fees. While if in the past five years, saving Bitcoin with a nominal that is not added, its value will continue to rise, because in the past five years the value of Bitcoin soared.
119  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC Compliance for Bitcoin on: August 03, 2018, 07:01:04 AM
When hackers steal my sensitive personal data stored by a company,I think that I have the right to sue that company for compensation. Those companies have to maintain a strong level of online defence and be responsible for any break in their security. Those KYC laws are dumb, but there`s no better system for indentifying suspicious people.
if it is like that KYC will be very helpful, and we as customers will be more comfortable in using it, because it is the responsibility of a company.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it true that bitcoin prices have ever been manipulated on: August 03, 2018, 06:16:37 AM
Unlike stock or commodity transactions, the value of Bitcoin is unpredictable. Values can go up and down in one trading day only

However, there is an indication of the value manipulation of Bitcoin. This manipulation occurred in the year 2013 ago.

At that time, the price of Bitcoin could rise from US $ 150 / coin to US $ 1,000 / coin. This increase only occurs in a vulnerable time of only two months.

There are four researchers who found manipulation. According to them a surge in the value of Bitcoin is done by one person.

In his paper entitled "Price Manipulation in a Bitcoin Ecosystem" published in the journal Monetary Economics, Neil Gandal, JT Hamrick, Tyler Moore and Tali Oberman describe suspicious activity at the digital currency exchange center (cryptocurrency), Mt. Gox, which affects the value of Bitcoin Cs in 2013.

As quoted by TechCrunch and quoted CNBC, the researchers found price manipulation done two bots and listed as "??" in the user's country. They named this bot "Mark" and "Willy".

Markus buys and sells bitcoins at random prices and does not pay transaction fees. Upon further inspection, Mark actually did not pay to receive Bitcoin. Mark generates 335,889 bitcoins and is active from 14 February 2013 to 27 September 2013.

Seven hours after Mark becomes inactive, Willy appears with 49 accounts. Each of these Willy accounts sequentially purchases bitcoins worth US $ 2.5 million and then becomes inactive. During this period, bitcoin prices soared.
The cryptocurrency world is regularly suspected of facilitating misconduct, starting its journey towards popularity as an anonymous currency to trade drugs and equipment on the Deep Web. Certain tricks that can affect the price of digital currencies, including spoofing that see traders flooding the market with fake orders before quickly canceling it, deceive other traders to buy or sell.
