good luck to those pumping and dumping ETH, and you are likely in for a lot more short term volatility than bitcoin .. but yeah, let's see how the price directions and developments play out for each.

Of course, im still bullish on BTC, and I plan on dumping some profits back in before the halving.

But for those of yall on the sidelines, don't be surprised to see ETH go to $50 each before that happens

Wow... that sure is ETH bullish... I mean, yeah, we can see some kind of connection between ETH and BTC... and even alts are likely to be absorbed into BTC over the years.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/features-from-the-most-popular-altcoins-are-planned-for-bitcoin-1463675591

Nonetheless, your prediction is quite scary, and I doubt that it is a very good time to be buying ETH .... but sure markets can remain fairly irrational for a long time.

We will have to see how it plays out. Remember, Litecoin went to $50 on nothing (and almost a billion dollar market cap). Ethereum is currently at a billion dollar market cap (http://coinmarketcap.com/) and its a platform loaded with apps built upon smart contracts, I think it could easily surpass the interest that we saw in Litecoin.

Anyways, Im done posting about Ethereum as this is the Bitcoin Forum after all Smiley

Goodluck to all BTC and ETH hodlerz

I bet DAO will fail because there is literally no business on ether network.

You've clearly not done your research. Slock.it and Mobotiq compete with airbnb and UBER...both of these companies (and plenty of others) will be funded via the DAO and Ethereum. The network effects at play here are massive

You've clearly turned ETH shill from a look at your recent posts.

Whatever you want to call it dude, im adapting. Ethereum has more full nodes and more daily trading volume than BTC. Don't be butthurt if ETH goes to 0.1 BTC and youre still holding BTC

looks like the triangle has broken down
but it feels like technical traders are being fucked with.

when 460 resistance becomes a support line all hell will break loose

🙈🙉
Best trading strategy.

Haha pretty much...Ethereum is taking over, people.
You can't even buy drugs or alpaca socks with that. I bet DAO will fail because there is literally no business on ether network. It'll take a couple of months before the poisonous bagholders show up.

The Ethereum network is built for apps to be built on top of. We always hear Antonopolous talk about the first "killer app"...well DAO is it and it's only on Ethereum. The Ethereum platform will build many of these killer apps and these will create a network effect on the Ethereum network. You are already seeing this with the DAO and companies like slock.it and Mobotiq

No matter how much proof Satoshi gives you guys, you'll still nitpick and find fault. No wonder he withdrew from this poisonous community.

No, the proof is trivial, but has not been posted. Sign a message with the genesis block key and post it for us all to verify. Anything less is simply a scam.

Yup. This.

I'm expecting everything to be back to normal in 24 hours...

688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Danger with Cryptsy SCAMMERS on: December 15, 2015, 11:22:58 PM
crapsy will not send out your btc, if you complain you will be banned from chat. i was just banned for a week by jshock for being upset about my kids xmas not being that great if i cant get my btc off of crapsy.

Dude file a support ticket and ask them to cancel your bitcoin withdrawal request. Then take the BTC and buy DOGE. this is what I did and it seems to be the only way that people are getting their money out
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cryptsy also stealing your BTC ? please share it here ! on: December 13, 2015, 08:38:40 PM
I tried to make a withdrawal for about 3 BTC.

After I was unable to get it pushed through, I opened up a support ticket and asked them to cancel the withdrawal.

After my withdraw was cancelled i withdrew everything via DOGE and locked myself out of my cryptsy account on purpose.

HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY: Open up a support ticket and ask to have your withdraw cancelled. Once the withdraw is cancelled (it will show back up in "pending"), then buy an alt coin like DOGE and withdraw your funds
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IS CRYPTSY FINALLY BANKRUPT?? on: December 02, 2015, 12:04:57 PM
lol im still banned from cryptsy chat....what a crock of shit.

I wonder if anyone's called the police in the area to give them a nice visit? holding peoples funds for weeks is straight up theft. Letting people continue to withdraw funds when you know your system is broken seems pretty fishy as well
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTSY INSOLVENCY DISCUSSION on: December 02, 2015, 04:21:46 AM
I've been hoping they were victim of a fierce troll campaign, but changed my mind a few weeks ago.
Is BTC the only obvious "freeze" right now, do you know if altcoin withdrawals are still working?

apparently some altcoins are working, but I cant confirm that. I know forsure that BTC and LTC arent going through (and a support staff confirmed that with me).
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / IS CRYPTSY FINALLY BANKRUPT?? on: December 02, 2015, 02:59:47 AM
As of today, NO ONE is getting Bitcoin withdrawals out of cryptsy. Many including myself fear they are now insolvent.

Please comment if you have been affected by their withdrawal problems and lets get our coins back!

I am missing a withdrawal of over 3 BTC going over 12 hours now with support unable to let my BTC go from the queue (this should be very easy considering my transaction has not yet hit the blockchain). To put icing on the cake, I'm getting banned from their chat for mentioning these issues and being told everything is fine, that they're getting ddosed blah blah blah. These problems have been happening for months now but it seems that everyone who tries to withdraw now is getting shafted

Oh poor funkybits.... it's the future talking.... I know you can't hear me, but I got some bad news for you my friend....
Hang in there though.  It might take longer than you expect, but when it starts to move it will likely move a lot faster than you expect.  (that goes for us here in the 'present' as well)

 Grin Grin

lol im still holding and buying my friend!
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 13, 2015, 01:15:26 AM
I may sound like beating the same drum day after day, but...

...have you considered the investment opportunities CK offers? For instance just now, there is a Town bond auction, and the bonds are paying 72% per real year, and they are denominated in XMR. Since the Town has the right to tax characters, the only way it could not pay is that it does not exist ie. the game has folded in the next 50 weeks. But the game has existed for ~48 weeks already!! What is the probability that it would cease existence now? In my opinion it is much less than the interest rate indicates.

Can the bonds be bought and sold at anytime? also what is the liquidity situation like?

Those walls look ridiculous  Cheesy

Smells like accumulation to me.

dont get too excited.

Ive seen 30K at 0.002 two times in the past week. Both times they've gotten sold down to 0.002 taking out the walls pretty much completely. Maybe "this time its different" though...sure hope so!
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DRK/DASH removed from bitcoinwisdom on: September 04, 2015, 03:46:46 AM
I just noticed DRK/DASH/ whatever its called this week is gone from bitcoinwisdom  Cool

lol
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 04, 2015, 03:45:22 AM
I think it's pretty safe to say that the wall at 0025 is fake  Cool

Im pretty surprised at the amount of dumping going on at 002...i presume there's a bunch of short selling going on

ps. Darkcoin has been removed from Bitcoinwisdom Cheesy
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 30, 2015, 11:20:57 AM
I hope to see an increase in price of XMR after the ETH hype is all over. In the meantime, I'll just buy cheap coins while its price lasts.  Smiley

ETH could very well go for a good second run here. I'm pretty bullish on both XMR and ETH right now

and here we go...let see if XMR can keep up with ETH

Orderbook looks like shit..no support!

maybe if we paint a double bottom though

The manipulative character of the ask side is visible all the way here..  Grin

I would not be too scared of the weak bid side, it's proven many times that you can sell XMR low, but buying it low is a more difficult thing to do  Cheesy

true...orderbook can sometimes be a contrary indicator
