What's happening with Bter? The amount of BLOCKs for sale has been reduced by more than 1 million. Are these coins still on Bter?
Those Blocknet tokens weren't sold. There was an issue with the amount displayed on Bter. We don't really know why, but an extra 275 BTC worth of BLOCK was displayed. We contacted them and it sorted itself out this morning sometime. It's funny this never came up in your previous calculations... I only found out it was wrong when Revelation showed my calculations to have omitted a check against the total coin supply. (Thanks Revelation. :-) Yeah, definitely not something you'd want to check as the sales begin... Total coins? Eh, fuck it...who cares... |

You guys should consider setting up a chat on slack.com or something similar where supporters can connect away from this forum.

They have over 200 members holding at least 8k ARCH each in their slack chat where people share ideas and get to have discussions with the ARCH team. Many other coins are doing this as well and from what I'm seeing, it helps bring the community together. Plus, IRC kinda sucks... Koontas, We hear you. We will be discussing the possibility of opening up a Slack chat for our community. Does anybody else want us to open a Slack chat? I appreciate your guys constant replies in the thread to everyone's inquiries. Initially I wasn't fond of "BRO" (the name), but I've jumped in with you guys and it's starting to grow on me.  |

Can someone clear some things up for me.. I just woke up and was taking a look at blocknet and I see that poloniex has opened trading and blocknet is now selling there for less then the ito price and less then it is on bittrex.
Is that just a fuckup on Vern's part or was that how this is supposed to work?
There are 2mln BLOCKs (worth 500 BTC at ICO price) from coingateway that were converted from alts. People are free trade these on Polo and Bter but not Bittrex. Well you guys are doing this ass backwards. You cant have an open live market selling the ITO for 3K less satoshi and expect Bittrex to sell out at 3K more satoshi.. Someone made a fatal error. For once, Bob and I agree. I wouldn't call it fatal. I mean, it's not like the ITO is thereby failing or something. It presented a very small profit that some people rightly took advantage of - and we've honoured our offer of a 10% discount for participating coins. No real harm. People are buying away... I believe you mean "Suckers are buying away..." |

The term "you" here refers to a third party (CoinGateway) with no vested interest in shafting anyone.
In fact, their prime interest is to attract customers, so I very much doubt there'd be any "shafting" going on.
Their algorithm was not disclosed to prevent gaming coins' prices prior to the ITO.
If you're unhappy with the price of SWIFT, please take it up with them. I'm interested to hear their response actually, so by all means post it here.
Are you saying that you let CoinGateway come up with the averaging function for your ITO? That makes very little sense. It would be impossible to game an averaging function significantly if it weighted historical prices more than recent prices. That's not a new concept. I thought you guys were computer scientists and knew about mathy things like that. This. Why on earth would a third party company have any input in to the valuing of the Blocknet tokens? Also I've noticed that people who paid with XC (not sure about other coins) received Blocknet tokens at different rates - I got approx 2.9 BLOCK per XC and cryptico got roughly 2.7. Was the BLOCK price not fixed? Not trying to fud here, just seeking clarity. They're not valuing Blocknet tokens, they valued coins used to buy Blocknet tokens. |

Yah why didn't you take the past 2 month average for the ITO? GOD WHY?
Because then it wouldn't work in their favor. Show us the calculations that were used to determine the average prices for the alt exchanges. |

And I also want to know why the SWIFT -> BLOCK exchange rate was NOWHERE near an average price. +1,000,000 Why was it valued on the dump? Why not the recent average? Some people were stocking up well in advance of the ITO. They got the shaft, especially when they were holding through the dumps based on claims that an average would be used. The value of an "average price" depends entirely on one's algorithm for determining the average. So "nowhere near an average price" is strictly incorrect. Well, since the sale is over, you can now tell us all what that algorithm is so we can do our own calculations and verify our transactions. Thanks in advance. |

I bought BLOCK with SWIFT and it gave me an exchange of 0.000133.
That was close to the trading price at the time, but nowhere close to the recent average. SWIFT dumped like crazy yesterday. Why was the price not an average based on history as promised.
If SWIFT had pumped would it have been more valuable? There really seems to be something wrong here. I've seen others complain but were ignored.
Also, this ignores the 10% discount, which couldn't have been applied.

I was hoping you guys were going to be different than the other manufacturers, but, now that I'm just getting canned responses 3 days before the products are supposed to ship I know I was wrong.
Think about the situation you're putting your consumers in. It doesn't instill much faith when even YOU don't know (or won't tell us) if the product will ship 72 hours before they're supposed to. THAT is poor management.
Just shut up and ask for a refund. Or do you not want one ? You must be off your medication or due for a snort every time you start complaining. It is not like they are not compensating or denying refunds. Been mining since 2011 and SP-Tech is the best manufacturer in the BTC mining business today.No other manufacturer today can match their customer service and how fairly they treat their customers. 100% guarantee. Just be reasonable dude. Mute for you. Reasonable is providing your customers with updates. You're all so used to getting bent over you think shitty business practices are acceptable. Enjoy the rest of your life not standing up for yourself. Glad to live in a world where I can speak my mind. |
