It's hilarious to see how chelsea was the only a big team that was losing this week while all of big clubs are winning the game. What a garbage team. After potter has gone todd boehly signed another clown coach as well and he is lampard.

He is a legend in chelsea but he has no capability to be a good coach. Can chelsea stop this result? If chelsea will unable to stop it and relegation zone is real.

chelsea has got another clown coach and its players played like a mediocre club. My guess was right if wolves would be winning the game.

What a funny match from wolves.  Grin

I also don't have much expectations from Chelsea now after they have got Lampard. I wouldn't call Lampard a clown coach but yeah he has lot to learn and experience as a manager. It wasn't a wise decision from Chelsea to sign Lampard (I have talked about it why I feel so) but anyway its just temporarily so let's see how it goes till the end of this season. I think they should have gone with either of Nagelsmann or Enrique (even better) in my opinion when they had a chance. Not sure why they didn't make things final when things were very close.

What an impressive performance from the red devils and what a feeling to go into their next game in the europa league competition against Sevilla with a win and it's good to see Martial on the score sheet after been on a sideline for a while with an injury. Also, I'm really happy to see Erickson back from injury and Casemiro lengthy 4 match ban ends today after this game. ETH will be pleased to have these players back and to pick maximum points against Everton.

Everton weren't a real test for Manchester United to begin with the way they have been performing. Very well controlled match by United today and they got the result they wanted- fully deserved those 3 points today. Frankly I don't have much confidence when McTominay or Fred is on the pitch but they really well today. Fernandes was given a defensive mid role while Sabitzer was promoted to an attacking mid role so this kinda improved the midfield control today. A smart tactic from Ten Haag I must say.

PSG also seem to be interested in a move for Jude Bellingham now. Maybe it could be just a rumour as well but still this is the case now. This can make the competition to sign him quite fired up though. Because Real Madrid and Liverpool are also thinking of making an offer for him in the summer. Especially Real Madrid seem to be ahead of Liverpool now.

I wonder if PSG's entering the race would change something about Bellingham's decision. He has been eager to sign for Real Madrid so far. I think he would still go with Real Madrid.

Bellingham is a young player and he can be a good option for PSG to hire this player and invest in him also he had a good performance this season and I think after he joins PSG he can help this team to have a balanced midfielder unlike their situation right, nut according to transfermarkt this player worth 120m which can be another expensive player for PSG.

Well it's not a surprise that more and more teams are joining in for Bellingham race as he has lot of potential. With PSG he can become a crucial player but with the pool of midfielders in the squad he might have less no. of opportunities initially. Therefore I don't think its wise to go into a club where there are pool of players in the same position as there is no guarantee that a player might find enough chances. It's far more better to move into a team where the club actually needs the player in that position eg. Liverpool.

Amadou Onana is a defensive player in Everton who had a good performance recently and that's why the price for this player increased recently also he is a young player and he can be a good investment for any team hiring this player even for other seasons. But I think Chelsea they won't have more chance than Arsenal for hiring this player mostly because Chslea doesn't have stability and they won't be in the champions league.

I think for both the clubs there will be lot of candidates before they consider getting Onana. There are lot of big names that both these big rivals are targetting. Of course Onana will be there but I think players like Rice, Bellingham , Estupinan, Tielemans and more are much before Onana. Whatever it will be it is sure that Chelsea will try to get what Arsenal is trying for.

Arsenal have quit well performance in this season and I don't sure Liverpool have compete for surprising Arsenal, still favorite with The Gunner will win this games and keep large opening with Primer League tittle in this season.
If you look at the performance of the two teams, it's not wrong to make Arsenal the favorite in that match, but have you forgotten that Anfield has been the most haunted place for the red London team so far? Liverpool is in a bad condition, but for the match later, Liverpool have the chance to get back up, especially before they were able to hold Chelsea to a draw and we can see that so far Liverpool are still a pretty great team when they have to face big teams.

It will not be easy at all as it seems but given the form Arsenal are in it is expected that Arsenal will be the one getting the full points out of it in the end. In the game against Chelsea, I honestly feel they were lucky to get a draw as Chelsea had lot of chances but due to lack of chances they weren't able to convert them into goals. Now they have to face Arsenal who are very good in creating chances and finishing as well so I think Arsenal will be able to get good amount of goals early in this match.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 07, 2023, 04:31:10 PM
As a Gunners fan, I hope Arsenal will win game after game until the end of the season, including against Liverpool. it's just that, the match against Liverpool will not be as easy as we predict. The reason is, Liverpool have a pretty impressive record when they play Anfield. recorded, in 13 matches, Liverpool won 9 battles, 3 draws, 1 defeat. that means, it will not be easy for the Gunners to overthrow Liverpool who are playing at their own headquarters. although in fact, these two teams have a gap in terms of performance. even so, Arsenal should have been able to take advantage of the momentum which in fact Liverpool's performance tends to be unstable.

But, if I refer to the predicted line-up that Arsenal will play. It can be confirmed that Saliba and Tomiyasu will be absent from this match due to injuries. that is, the performance of Arsenal's defense is a little doubtful. well, let's wait when these two teams meet.

Yeah it will not be easy for sure but Arsenal are performing far better than Liverpool right now.  Anfield isn't an easy location to perform at best but with the confidence we have right now I think we will be able to bet Liverpool in this upcoming fixture. With injuries it will not be an easy fixture for us but the way we attack and defend I think we will be able to get them at the end of the match. I think midfield dominance will be crucial here and lately Liverpool haven't been able to find that strong midfield hold.

Yeah Tomiyasu and Saliba are the absentees but I think we still have strong options for them. I think it will be same lineup as we placed against Leeds.

Well i have never supported any decision made by Todd Boehly and his team of club executives, but i somewhat think this very one is sensible, to a very large extent indeed. Yes there are many options on the table, but the club wants to take its time this time around, mind you that when they sacked Thomas Tuchel, they rushed into signing Graham Potter almost immediately, we all know how that one turned out.

Having said that, now that Lampard has the job as caretaker manager until June, the club can calm down, look closely at their options, assess everything thoroughy and make a final decision, without rush or pressure, this decision just basically buys the club sometime (a couple of months) to check everything properly and make sure they make the best choice for the football club.

Their PL hopes might be gone but their CL hopes are very much alive and for fans I feel that having a manager who hasn't been sacked by the club earlier and have good experience would have been better. Yeah rushing into things isn't a good choice but with CL fixture right around the corner you have to make things works if are club really targetting it. It's good to see Lampard leading though but I hardly have any confidence in him right now. Club could have tried Luis Enrique or Nagelsmann for rest of the season? Wouldn't it? With an option to extend. Yeah there will be negotiations but I feel things will be sorted out easily as both are in competition for the role and Luis Enrique is very keen to take this role so I think one might eventually agree quickly to this in order to get the role.

Lampard is a decent manager so I hope he does pull off some magic to turn the performance of Chelsea towards good. He has had a tough managerial career but he has been lucky to have those chances as well. Hope he does good in this one.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 06, 2023, 06:25:37 PM
What is clear, I still support Arsenal. yes, as a true fan I am happy to see Arsenal win game after game. As we know, the Premier League only leaves 9 more matches for Arsenal until this season ends. 8 points ahead of City, does not make Arsenal in a safe position.
Although Arsenal are way better than Liverpool this season but I see the odds are close between the two teams. It will be good for City to see gunners drop points tho even though it will be difficult to happen.
City will face Southampton, I assume there will not be much challenge there.

Liverpool is really bad and it was seen against Chelsea aswell, they got lucky that Var cancelled two goals for Chelsea. They might wake up against Arsenal but i really doubt it . It would be good that Liverpool wins so that Man City can get close and make this title race intresting.

I admit that Liverpool really performed poor in that match. They were lucky to get a point out of it but honestly Chelsea deserved to win that one. Chelsea had lot of good chances but weren't able to score in any of it. Chelsea this season lacks finishing so I am not surprised at all. Next up is Arsenal and I expect Arsenal to beat them easily. We are a tough club to crack for most of the clubs so I think we will be able to show good show at Anfield next. Obviously it's not easy at Anfield with atmosphere but we are brimming with confidence and should handle them easily given the way they have been performing.

Sometimes I feel Todd Boellhy doesn't look into past records before deciding on people to take over Chelsea's managerial affairs. I think he wants to pay more money on terminated contracts. I know vividly well that he's the significant brain behind Frank Lampard's new contract as chelsea supervisory coach.  Lampard may do well during these few periods but his success story may not last in the next season if peradventure his performance in this short period is convincing enough to give him a permanent contract. Chelsea as an elite club needs experienced coaches not the likes of Frank Lampard.

I also don't like the choices they are making right now. They have both better options of Luis Enrique who has vast experience of managing big clubs and nation and Nagelsmann also is a good manager with experience so why don't just pick any of them quickly and get it over with. I think Lampard is decent but selecting him again even as caretaker manager will welcome lot of criticism in case Chelsea still performs poorly. Anyway it's good for Lampard though to keep him occupied till the end of the season but for Chelsea I don't think it was a wise choice at all.

Chelsea are desperate and its understandable especially when CL is up ahead and they are to face Spanish giants Real Madrid. Squad needs someone to manage them well and set the squad up before the game. Nagelsmann is the only one which is reported to be close to fill the vacant spot of head coach at Chelsea : https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1643283562362200067  and it seems to me that Nagelsmann is likely to be the next one managing Chelsea now. No contacts with Pochetinno so Nagelsmann is the likely one.

The only problem is that they fire people even when they are good as well. They won the UCL title just a year prior before they fired Tuchel, they won it, then Real won, then they fired Tuchel. What did they expected?

Yeah its been a trend now so not surprised. Chelsea have been patient for so much and it was coming for Potter. I actually thought that they would have gone it till the end but they sacked him before that.

To get it every single year? The league was doing alright as well, certainly better than what Potter has done, the team is in terrible condition right now, even the players do not have confidence anymore, world star players that worth tens of millions of euros feel like they deserve to be in a mid table discussion when in fact they should be angry that they are there and fight harder to go to top. I feel like it's going to take a while before they can get used to this.

I think players are aware about the situation they are in. The league is gone but they have to prepare well for the Champions League still. Chelsea with new owner has deep pockets now and they will get someone good enough to get them on track. It will take time but I believe they will be back on track once again. Nagelsmann is close and with CL fixture right around the corner it will be final by this week.

A win is very important for Valencia. If they beat Rayo Vallecano, they can get out of the relegation zone. If we compare the stats of their recent games, they are almost identical for both clubs. But Valencia have won their last two home games and Rayo have lost their last two away games. I'm not sure Valencia will win, but I'll give them my preference.

Valencia have been in tough spot this season but with season about to close out it is very important to collect points now. Now Vallecano have been trying hard to keep themselves in top half of the table but they haven't been convincing enough. I would say Valencia do have a chance here but they have to defend well as that is the part that worries me about for Valencia in this match. With home advantage, I think Valencia will try for a win here for sure.

Half of the Manchester United vs Newcastle United match is already over but neither team has scored a goal yet. Both teams are almost equally strong and both teams are playing well but Newcastle United's ball control looks a bit better so they might be able to score a goals in the 2nd half but it is not guaranteed. However, the match may end 1-0 or there is a high possibility of a 0-0 draw. The match is quite enjoyable

To be honest Newcastle are shooting blanks while Manchester United haven't been able to get in position to try at all. Given their first half Newcastle has to lead but they haven't been able to score on those chances. I would say its a good game but given both team standards there should have been a goal from either of the team so I think it was a bit boring one for me but I expect things to spice up in the second half.

With De Gea's long-deserved contribution, he decided to leave and no one could stop him. After all, De Gea has given everything for The Red Devils, even from year to year he has completed his duties. Once again, in my opinion, it is only natural that De Gea finally decides to leave and no longer wants to extend his contract.

From his recent interview it seems like he wants to stay at United. He has been the oldest player at the club and his contributions towards the club immense. His contract is about to expire and United haven't proceeded with extension talks so no progress in that right now. I personally don't think he will leave the club at all. At the end this will be done. Ten Haag also wants their first goalkeeper to stay so let's see how board feels about it now. It's a busy schedule for them so naturally they will be lot more focused on the games right now but I am pretty sure they will do something about this situation in the end.

Pretty much balanced in Newcastle vs Manchester United game but to be fair Newcastle seems to be dominating the game right now. Newcastle are allowed a lot of space and they are having a go at the net but right now they haven't found success yet. As for United they haven't been allowed much space so right now I would say a very disciplined defending from Newcastle at the moment. I didn't expected the game to set so well for Newcastle. If things stand like this then I think Newcastle might find their opener soon in the second half.

Chelsea are now 1 goal down at Stamford Bridge. The match vs Aston Villa is getting interesting.
Graham Potter has not resolved the players to start games with especially in his defence, he is not yet sure about his starting XI. Chelsea even with the home advantage and a good number of chances they have created have been unable to score. Mudryk and Ben Chilwell had good chances especially Mudryk but it seems like he has not yet become used to the pressure that playing in the premier league brings. It will be disappointing if Chelsea fail to win against Aston Villa, a team that has not defeated them at the Stamford bridge for some years now.

I expect some changes in this second half for Chelsea, but Aston Villa have been the team to take Boubacar Kamara out and bring Chambers in. I want to see Mason Mount play.

With squad as big like Chelsea right now it's very hard for managers to find his right men. It needs time to experiment but Potter has to rotate player continuously in hopes to find the result. It's a bit of a trouble there. Secondly, I don't think they have found strong defenders still. They still lack a lot despite heavy investment in transfer windows. With 2-0 down I think the game is done for, I don't expect anything to change especially with the way Chelsea are playing right now.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 01, 2023, 05:29:04 PM
The first half was quite satisfying for Thomas Tuchel first-time training at Bayern Munich, at least he succeeded in breaking through Dortmund's defense. 23 minutes with a score of 3-0 is certainly a proud achievement. In my opinion, in the second half, the results will continue to increase and Bayern Munich will be at the top of the standings. This is the initial capital in facing Man City in the Champions League. Maybe there is a hint that Bayern Munich has the same level of resistance as Man City.

btw, did you see that Chelsea lost to a really weak club or Potter just couldn't handle Aston Villa?

Yeah a great start for Tuchel with 3-0 scoreline at just half time in his first game managing Bayern. Bayern seems to be dominating in the match with everything. Dortmund are clueless and yes seems like second half also might go towards Bayern way. Also they are also not giving Dortmund any room for chances. If Bayern wins here , they will climb to the topin Bundesliga table with 2 points ahead of second placed Dortmund.

CL is another test so I am quite curious to see how Tuchel leads his team there.

The match between brentford vs brighton was shocked me. How the hell brighton with absolute domination against brentford was almost losing if it's not mac allister who has been successfully executing the penalty. Mac Allister successfully prevented Brighton from losing by executing a penalty before the match ended. That's a very good match compared with liverpool vs city. As i predicted before if these clubs are equal between one to each other. The draw was not so bad for brighton and brentford.

That's fantastic match.

It was a tough fixture from the beginning. Thomas Frank is a very tactical coach and Brentford as I have said so many times are a very good underdog team. No wonder they gave Brighton a hard time even though Brighton were heavy favourites going into the match. Mac Allister penalty saved it but I would say Brentford really impressed me today. Shame they didn't found full points as the deserved but a point out of it is not bad.

Manchester City still have a chance to win the treble this season, but on the other hand they might end up without a title if they are wrong in calculating the target. Pep Guardiola is of course very confused with such a situation. But I agree that they should shift their focus to the Champions League. Because Manchester City's main target is to win the most prestigious title in Europe. And I see this season as the best momentum for the Citizens even though the road to Istanbul is very tough. I really believe that if Pep Guardiola keeps his focus high then Manchester City will win the Champions League this season.

It's not that easy actually. Remember the time when City reached the final in 20-21 CL final and with Chelsea up ahead they were the favourites and eventually lost. So to win CL it's not easy and even after focussing so much on trophy doesn't guarantees you the trophy. A club like City doesn't afford to for trophyless in a season so it's obvious that they are not solely gonna focus on CL only now.

His focus was high at the time of the CL 20-21 final as well. They were just one win away but still they lost.
