sad news:

Brendan Rodgers has been sacked by Leicester

Graham Potter sacked by Chelsea

source: https://www.instagram.com/fabriziorom/

Leicester's situation is very serious, they are in the relegation zone, in the last 5 games they only managed to have only 1 draw, this means that they are 5 games without a win, but what I cannot understand is that Leicester managed to beat Tottenham ( i know tottenham are a disaster ), but leicester managed to score 4 goals in the game against tottenham but then went on a streak of 5 games without a win, that's weird to be honest

about chelsea, i was already saying here that it wouldn't take long for chelsea's coach to be fired, it's not acceptable for chelsea to remain a mediocre team when they put a lot of money in to bring in good players, it was a matter of a short time before they fired chelsea coach because nothing would change as long as he remains in charge of chelsea coach, chelsea doesn't even have a chance of going to the champions league next season
It is not surprising that Leicester finally sacked coach Brendan Rodgers, after the series of poor results Leicester have achieved this season have forced them to be entrenched in the relegation zone this season. Even if we step back for a moment, in the 2015/2016 season we saw how successful Leicester were that they won the EPL title that season. But after that now we can't see Leicester in the same form until this season and now they are mostly stuck in the middle of the table. But if this season they get relegated, of course it will be a bad record for the last few seasons.

Even Brendan Rodgers is speculated for the manager job at Chelsea now. As Leicester aren't having a good season maybe they could part ways with him. But I don't know if Boehly would like to see him in the team while he is having an unsuccessful season. Chelsea wouldn't like to make a similar mistake to the one they did with Potter.
Brendan rogers already sacked by leicester city due to the same case as potter. It will be even more than stupid if chelsea signed him as a new coach. Chelsea will be going to the relegation zone even faster than before. I strongly disagree with such decision to take him. Just let brendant jobless caused by his incompetency to manage a club. He is not worthy anymore to be considered as a coach. Taking brendan = destroying the club.

That's it.

Nagelsmann is the strongest candidate for the job as it seems. I really like his management style so he might be a good choice for Chelsea now.
The talks with naglesmann are still going on but the result is still uncertain. it's caused by naglesmann not yet giving positive results in talks with chelsea. We can hope that there will be some good progress as the result from approached that already made by chelsea to him.
Chelsea really need a new coach that can give good motivation to the club and it's not another new potter again.

Graham Potter has been relieved of his duty and Fans are raving at hearing the news. I could barely see a supporter of Pott amongst Chelsea fans and that's so sorrowful of all departed coaches. No one wants the young man in Stanford bridge and no one regrets the decision. The question now is who to take over this duty seeing chelsea in this condition, the club needs an experienced coach with a good plan. Many want's Naggelsman who was lately sacked by Bayern management and I'm not seeing this option to be a good one.
Is it not the sunk cost fallacy we just saw play out in Chelsea? Oh by the way, according to Google, the sunk cost fallacy is a phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial.

What I can deduce from what has played is that Chelsea have become a business entity rather than a football club with deep social roots. Also, it seems that this unfortunate phenomenon is permeating other football clubs and that a basic community loyalty is being surpassed by the interest in financial gains instead of the community's spirit  .
Anyways back to Potter. The two questions on my mind are
- Where would he go next?
- who is his replacement?

Hopefully Chelsea can get a coach who can lead them in a better direction. This season they have sacked coaches twice and that is something bad because it proves that they have not appointed the right coach. Nagelsmann is indeed predicted to become Chelsea coach to replace Graham Potter's duties. His performance at Bayern Munich was actually fine, so he still deserves to be at Chelsea.
Personally I think Chelsea should support Bruno who will be in charge temporary till the end of the season and bring back Mourinho from Roma, I am not yet convinced with the calibre of likely successor of Graham Potter with the likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane I don't think any of those managers has the quality to manage such a big club like Chelsea on a long term perspective, maybe Zidane but with Mourinho in charge an instant turnaround of the club is sure, because he won't condone lack of quality of any player and will assembly a formidable team within the shortest period of time because of his vast experience in European leagues.
I was very happy on hearing this breaking news about the sack of Potter by Chelsea management team, which makes a whole lot of sense to me,  because it was long overdue we've since been expecting this from Chelsea due to Potter's inability to live up to expectation as supposed. However I'm not in agreement with Morinho coming back to Chelsea and replacing Potter , but it will be interesting to see Zinedine Zidane, Mauricio Pochettino and Julian Nagelsmann any of these men take up this job at Chelsea,  I do believe in their ability of managing the club.

To be honest, Potter's time at Chelsea has come to an end, as he has lost the respect of not just the players, but also the fans and owners. It's an unfortunate that things didn't work out for him, but it's time for the club to move on. Hopefully, players can now focus on enjoying their games and giving their best for the club. Potter could have done better with the star-studded team that Chelsea has, but the results have been below par. Now, It's time for a change, but bringing in another poor coach right now would only lead to the same outcome. Here, I am optimistic that Chelsea will take the time to find a suitable replacement for the job.

Newcastle are planning to go for James Maddison seriously now. After seeing Leicester's latest condition it wouldn't be surprising to see him ready to leave in the end.

Maddison is a really skilled midfielder and I think that he is good enough to play for even much bigger teams. This is why I think that Newcastle won't be the only team wishing to sign him in the summer. There should be some bigger teams in line to sign him also. Especially because of this, Newcastle had better finish this season in top 4. This will be making their side stronger to sign good players like Maddison. Because they will have something in their hands to offer them like the Champions League.

Making the club a profit and business center would be blames on the owners and nobody else, they're no different from the glazer's, I'm still not happy Abrahimovich sold the club. If not for the Russian/Ukraine war, he should still be input with the club.
I feel like he's been targeted before now, so Since they finally had a good chance, they shot the ball into the top corner of the goal. ( Sad )

Leicester so far, I don't know how sure, I'm yet to verify, this is all I have heard from my local TV station saying this. Graham Potter deserves a club like Leicester City and not Chelsea. I have said this before, he's no different from Frank Lampard. Zidane also won't be a good replacement for Graham Potter with Chelsea.

Nagelsmann is a good coach and if  Chelsea appoints him he will do better than potter. If Nagelsmann performs just exactly the way he performed in Bayern if he becomes Chelsea coach, Chelsea will be among the top teams in the premier league no doubt about it. He will be good for the work.

I am quite optimistic, if Nagelsmann is willing to become a Chelsea coach, he can bring Chelsea in a better direction. however, not in the near future. at least, Nagelsmann needs time to bring a team to be better. I mean, to reach the desired level will require a process. but with Chelsea, he would be more flexible if he became a coach there. because, most of the Chelsea players are inhabited by young players. this, will fit perfectly with its vision and mission.

But unfortunately, as quoted by Sky Sports, there are two factors that could make the man from Germany reject Chelsea. Nagelsmann, who was recently fired by Bayern Munich, has not decided anything about his future. as quoted in the report, Nagelsmann knows that Chelsea are interested in his services. however, he has yet to decide whether to take charge immediately or wait for the new season. Sky Sports reports too, that the coach is likely to only take the job at the start of the season. on the other hand, some rumors also mention the name of origin of the Spanish coach, namely Luis Enrique. well, so far there is no certainty which coach will be brought to Stamford Bridge by Todd Boehly. so, let's just wait for further developments.

Sky Sports reports too, that the coach is likely to only take the job at the start of the season. on the other hand, some rumors also mention the name of origin of the Spanish coach, namely Luis Enrique. well, so far there is no certainty which coach will be brought to Stamford Bridge by Todd Boehly. so, let's just wait for further developments.
speculation about which team in the future Nagelsmann will coach is very interesting to follow, reportedly Tottenham is also very interested in Nagelsmann

but several obstacles seem to appear and there is other news that teams who want to use Nagelsmann's services must pay Bayern because he is still on salary by Bayern

will tottenham or chelsea get nagelsmann!

It's a joke? Football has been a pure business for a very long time and everything else is just a small part or even a cover.
As for the sunk cost error, all the top clubs from the Premier League got into it - they are forced to spend more and more (because there is no budget ceiling and salary cap), but in the end, someone still remains a loser (of tickets to the Champions League only 4). And the situation will worsen from season to season, since there is no limit on spending, but there is a limit on earnings simply due to economic reasons.

I think Todd Boehly and other co-owners are passionate about making Chelsea successful. They wanted to continue with the legacy of Roman that's why they brought out a lot of funds to get more players. Potter was cheap but he was also doing a good job in Brighton and so many people predicted that he would succeed. Mikel Arteta was also cheap but he is the best currently in the EPL. Potter was just unfortunate.
I don't really blame Brendan Rodgers for the failure of the Leicester team. The management of the club sold many key players without replacing them. The coach is sound but he has limited resources to buy the required players to make the team a better side. I think he will get another job next season.

Because they will have something in their hands to offer them like the Champions League.
not only Newcastle, but MU and also Liverpool are also rumored to be interested in James Maddison. even last winter there were rumors of other Premier League teams also being interested.
but it seems that in the transfer market this summer, James Maddison is likely to leave Leicester. that's because his contract is almost up and there is still no talk of extending the player's contract with the club. there will be quite a number of Premier League clubs interested in him.

At present the interest of several big clubs in James Maddison is recurring but it is not too strange even though his team's current performance is not very good but he is able to maintain his performance to be above average.
There is an offer of 50 million as an initial offer but of course this cannot be done quickly because now with a lot of interest it is certain that Leicester will think of several options between holding back Maddison or letting go for a slightly higher price.

Graham Potter is on the list of Chelsea's 15th coach since Mourinho in 2004.
However, Chelsea's decision to dismiss Potter was a good one albeit a little late.
Bruno will get the task from Boehly to accompany the Blues squad to compete before the certainty of the new coach comes to Stamford Bridge.
Rumors are that Julian Nagelsmann will have the opportunity to be brought by Boehly to Stamford Bridge.
The only problem is that they fire people even when they are good as well. They won the UCL title just a year prior before they fired Tuchel, they won it, then Real won, then they fired Tuchel. What did they expected?

To get it every single year? The league was doing alright as well, certainly better than what Potter has done, the team is in terrible condition right now, even the players do not have confidence anymore, world star players that worth tens of millions of euros feel like they deserve to be in a mid table discussion when in fact they should be angry that they are there and fight harder to go to top. I feel like it's going to take a while before they can get used to this.

Yeah its been a trend now so not surprised. Chelsea have been patient for so much and it was coming for Potter. I actually thought that they would have gone it till the end but they sacked him before that.

I think players are aware about the situation they are in. The league is gone but they have to prepare well for the Champions League still. Chelsea with new owner has deep pockets now and they will get someone good enough to get them on track. It will take time but I believe they will be back on track once again. Nagelsmann is close and with CL fixture right around the corner it will be final by this week.

Coaching football is fickle. One day, you're on top of the world. You're abruptly ejected and left wondering what happened. Nagelsmann is in a never-ending loop and may coach Chelsea. Nagelsmann should watch his step right now. He must coach well for Chelsea to succeed. He must be patient, have a plan, and work closely with young players to assist the team achieve its long-term goals. Don't forget the other teachers that want the job. Luis Enrique, a fiery Spaniard with a good record, is also a candidate. Who Chelsea hires will affect football worldwide. This is a critical scenario

Chelsea in a terrible condition at the moment, Todd Boehly is the major reason behind their setback. He sacked Thomas Tuchel before he even settled as owner of the club, he removed all the staffs especially the one that aides blues to signing new players. He turned the whole team into a mess and it will take a lengthy time before they could recovered, however he should shared some part of the blame. Graham Potter was never the manager Chelsea need right from time, he's a mediocre coach with absolutely capability to handle average clubs.

Because they will have something in their hands to offer them like the Champions League.
not only Newcastle, but MU and also Liverpool are also rumored to be interested in James Maddison. even last winter there were rumors of other Premier League teams also being interested.
but it seems that in the transfer market this summer, James Maddison is likely to leave Leicester. that's because his contract is almost up and there is still no talk of extending the player's contract with the club. there will be quite a number of Premier League clubs interested in him.

I don't know for sure which team he is going to join. But it is quite sure that he is going to leave Leicester this season. He has been in the club for long enough in my opinion.  He is also playing really well. And I believe this is a good time for him to be moving to other club.

After all, this is the time he is getting recognized by other clubs as well. If we talk about the clubs that are pursuing him right now, I have to say probably Newcastle is the club which is going to be able to give him the best amount of money.

This is getting closer to Chelsea after there are many rumors about Julian Nagelsmann who will soon be brought in by Chelsea and with the dismissal of Graham Potter Chelsea must get a coach as soon as possible because they will face an important match in the Champions League.

I always see news from Fabrizio Romanon and they say Julian Nagelsmann is open to this long-term project, but the problem is that there must be compensation to be paid to Bayern Munich?
So will Chelsea be able to afford this even though it is said that this club is very rich. Source:

The only problem is that they fire people even when they are good as well. They won the UCL title just a year prior before they fired Tuchel, they won it, then Real won, then they fired Tuchel. What did they expected?

To get it every single year? The league was doing alright as well, certainly better than what Potter has done, the team is in terrible condition right now, even the players do not have confidence anymore, world star players that worth tens of millions of euros feel like they deserve to be in a mid table discussion when in fact they should be angry that they are there and fight harder to go to top. I feel like it's going to take a while before they can get used to this.

@darewaller, It was certainly a little too late for this season. I don't think they are going to make any type of comeback, at least not this season. The situation which Chelsea is in right now is of course not a good one at all. They are not going to finish even in the top six in my opinion. They are currently in the 11th position. That is certainly not good at all for a club like Chelsea. It will be a really good result for them if they can somehow finish in the top six positions in my opinion.

But of course, I don't believe they will actually be able to do that. They should concentrate on getting ready for the next season. Personally don't think they should aim too much ahead of themselves. Should be aiming for the top four going into the next season.
