Main difference - still closed source? Yep. But this difference won't hold for long. Early in the thread it was said that Crypti source would be released quarterly. It's been over a year though. Is there any quotes from Cryptsy or Poloniex people saying they've reviewed the source code? Or do they just run it in a VM and don't give a fuck? Got some cheap on Cryptsy, but considering just dumping it cause Crypsty wallet is constantly borked, and I don't want to install closed source shit on my comps anyway. Hey Crypti, what's yours comments on jwinterm shit ? Main reason why didn't opened source it, because someone of our team worried about new scam forks and someone worried about bugs in code. Last months we see that it's problem, and because we (Max, Me, Olivier) agreed that it need to be open source asap. We still need to close it with other foundation members, i think we will do it on this weekly meeting. Is there any quotes from Cryptsy or Poloniex people saying they've reviewed the source code? We on exchanges last year, no one exchanges said that we contain malware lol, if you mean this. To give a few more insights: Every Saturday we have a foundation board meeting, that means today. We will discuss this matter today and will post our decision on Monday. Like Boris above said, some of us know very well that we need to open source it ASAP. About Cryptsy, we said multiple times to not use it. It's not on our website anymore and the OP say it as well. Recently we made some success in this area, so let's hope they will soon fix their wallets. I think you must go opensource. By the way, all my BTC invested in Crypti. Even if there will appear some shitforks, you'll get something much more valuable - new developers, which, I think, will work for free/fun.

The coin I am making is pretty unique and different from any other coin I've seen out there.
Let me talk to you via private message, I suspect we could work something out though, particularly if you guys have any developers or marketers that I could hire, such as you.. mostly paying stock options for now but I could probably pay one developer in cash to help with a few of the smaller features required for the initial release. At that point we can get investors and have enough money to hire others.
Will there be an IPO/ICO Potentially.. the coin will mostly be mined but I may start with some initially sold in that fashion to raise some development funds. I will postpone some money for it. There is Skycoin written on Go, intresting to see large scale app on Rust. Coin written on Swift is in the queue ;-)

There are some real pump&dumpers in game, hardcore ones, because Butelik spam via bitcoin magazine.

last night I dumped 12000 eth and voila the price sunk from 0.63$ to 0.58$. Good ridence Ethereum.
What did you expect? That is quite an amount you dumped, ofcourse it will impact the price I've been saying from the start that these prices are way over the top for what they are offering. People are now slowly realizing this and by every dump another dump follows out of fear. Buy back in when we are around IPO levels or below and you will have some smiles when prices correct again What was the original IPO Price? 50 000 satoshi And current price is 300 000 satoshi.

Crypti v0.3.2 - Intermediate Release IIHello again Delegates, Following yesterdays announcement of Crypti v0.3.1 we have today released another update. Several users reported an increase in memory usage of up to 1.5GB in RAM. This was causing nodes to run out of memory, crash and then eventually restart themselves, leading to a low uptime for your delegate. Thankfully, our developers have quickly discovered the root cause of the problem by identifying two individual memory leaks affecting our client. Download Crypti v0.3.2More details on our blogPS: Only interesting for delegates and full client users. If you are using the lite client you don't need to update. Thanks bro! I'm waiting for 0.3.3

... I think PoW is only temporary for Etherum. Pretty sure they are working on something else but I don't have a link handy. It's prob on their blog though.
You are right. They want to switch to PoS. Vitalik said it will likely take 1 year to do the change. And we know from Bitcoin how difficult it is for PoW coins to do hard forks. Especially if the miners will loose 100% of their revenue. So let's wait. PoW coins is more expansive, cause each coin includes electricity bills. That's why they choise PoW - to make more money.

Here is some of my thoughts on current market situation. Consider this news: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-processor-bitpay-reduces-staff-in-cost-cutting-effort/I see the pattern here: cause mainstream consumer adoption of BTC just isn't happening, startups begain to switch to selling blockchain technology to businesses. - Bitshares is moving to B2B sector, trying to sell blockchain tech via graphene toolkit - Ethereum & Crypti aims to be something like "Windows"... a platfrom - And the number of "blockchain" B2B players, like Factom. Hard times come to majority of altcoins.
