681  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 24, 2020, 11:36:08 AM
The economy of most countries has changed due to some factors that were beyond human control, crisis is never an option.
Earlier this year, the US and Iran mini war drive increase in weapons, gold and stocks in general but what happen when coronavirus escalated? The whole world was in chaos, fear and uncertainty of after the lock down. Human being can make treat but the mind is programmed with fear that's why no one want crisis.

Recall the day Donald Trump tested positive to coronavirus, the whole market was down because of fear, uncertainty and disinformation. I can speak confidently that Africa coronavirus cases has reduced and things are coming back to normal.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 23, 2020, 10:56:43 PM
Bounty managers of this forum it's time to wisen up, I know few bounty managers are already doing this but majority aren't,  top rated crypto projects that raised millions of dollars successfully are finding it very very hard to pay Bounty Hunters their tokens after all the hardwork talkless of med rated crypto projects, they feel reluctant to pay bounty hunters reward so I'm begging you guys to start compulsory Escrow, if every bounty managers they seek ask for Escrow they won't have any choice but to comply
The truths!
Its hard to see new projects that want to escrow payments before Bounty begins, only few team do that in this forum and when they do, it will be a penny for limited participants most especially in signature campaigns.
There is nothing managers can do when the team refuse to escrowed payment, if they don't accept, others will collect and open a thread with junks of newbie participants end up promoting the project.
There are also some instances on new DeFi projects where the team are responsible for their own marketing, they don't invite or need managers to coordinate their bounties, in this case, there is absolutely nothing we can do. Just do the work and hope you get paid.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: October 23, 2020, 05:22:26 PM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?
You really crack me up buddy Grin Grin Grin
You mean something similar to the image below?
We need to clear one thing, centralized and decentralized finance comes with merit and Demerit
| SN | DEX | CEX |
| Merit| no regulation, quick profit| regulations, profit takes time|
| Demerit | High risk and may loose all money| Low risk( except when there is economic trumoil) |
We may have see another reforming of DEFI but I don't think the current one will have any significant against cex. The image below can't be a threat to centralized finance but to investors.
684  Economy / Economics / Re: btc value and currency inflations on: October 23, 2020, 10:41:53 AM
lets say usa dollar and all currencies will be highly devalued .....then how we know the btc value??

most traders use USDT so if something happens with usa dollar is my USDT Will be worthless over night?

I wouldn't say it's impossible for the usd to be highly devalue but as long as economic keep moving, that can't happen. Check back from 2008, we keep hearing dollar will collapse but its getting stronger with little inflation in my opinion. USD may have inflation range of 2% as predicted by some analyst because interest rate still remains 0 and stimulus distribution is still on check.
Bitcoin isn't backed by usd, it's just a value that is determined by the market force, its independent of other centralized bodies( in the past) but currently correlated with stock market( S&P 500).

Bitcoin is bitcoin, demand and supply is the key factor that driven it's economy which has been working perfectly base on Satoshi whitepaper. All eyes are now focus on US elections, thus Bitcoin is enjoying  the news. We have seen how PayPal, one of the giant payments system across the world is adopting cryptocurrency payments on their, that's how decentralized it should be and not tide to some individuals decisions (S&P 500 and Gold in traditional market for example).
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 22, 2020, 08:56:10 PM
Time to wake up before getting scammed yes Defi hype was a hot topic for couple of months and now many of them are scared to invest in this.

A lot of articles has been released on this Defi project, analyst say 99% of these projects are scam. I was wondering like Defi will be the future of crypto but thank God now I came to know it's a real danger for investment.

The frenzy on how to make profit by everyone made DeFi became crazy and foolish. The quick rich developers used that as opportunity to cart away with thousands of Usdt by bringing illogical projects to investors. It was during that period we began to see projects with a page website and A4 lite paper, anonymous team and little supply of token. The road maps were the funny part with zero magnitude and direction. As time goes on, we will be able to identify chaffs from the real ones, all DeFi projects are down as the hype is almost over, it's only NFTs tokens are enjoining the table for now.

The APY was one of the major factors that lure most of investors into DeFi. In a situation where you can stake your tokens with a guarantee of 200% APY will not bring fear.

For example : Token A offer an APY of 400%, you bought public sale at $0.1/token A
The token was stake as soon as tradiing start and price pushed to $1, after a year the price came back to $0.2 which has loss - 80% from all time high (ATH ), once you unstake token A, you will be having 400% of token at 2x.
This is why some investors aren't really bother about the price.

DeFi isn't dead, I believe some will survive based on their fundamental growth and team.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 22, 2020, 09:18:08 AM

Sorry bro, there is nothing absolutely free even in free town. Grin
Airdrop is way of marketing and promotion by this projects as awareness, you do a task and in return, they give you a penny mostly range in between $3 to $10 ( that's was how it used to be in the past during ICO boom ) for your time. Though, I don't see them as anything as it something you do once and forget.
However, I don't think we still have trusted airdrops, they turned out to be scam after collection of users data in the form and gaining thousands of followers on their Facebook, Twitter and Telegram channels. Nevertheless, don't do kyc for any airdrop, we have seen how Clipx collected users data and deleted their website and Telegram group.

687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 22, 2020, 02:59:12 AM
Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently using Signature campaign to promote their private sale.

Being a newbie, I would like to know your thoughts through experience.
Signature campaign can be done by any project to raise awareness about the existence of that particular project within forum
Even scam projects can organize and set up a campaign on this same forum, one need to be careful in promotions and not been greedy about their payments in other not to lure innocent investors into believing what is not real. Example is Yobit, they had so many scam accusations in this forum about users fund, they paid signature campaign promoters with good incentives then.

I can only wear projects as signature if they have been listed on any Exchange, that reduce my risk and others. I can't do that for ICOs except for gambling projects.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has the properties of an employment opportunity on: October 21, 2020, 05:05:29 PM
I'm a chemical engineering by certificate, not employ yet due to this pandemic situation. Bitcoin or should I say cryptocurrency rather has been my means of earning, it has not been easy with this pandemic economic brouhaha and unending deaths.
I have been in cryptocurrency since my early 2018 and I can boldly wish If i had studied computer science, so many opportunities in this space, you don't need a guide or soothsayer to earn well once you know the path but nevertheless, I am comfortable been a trader and offering service and gigs as bounty hunter.
As soon as this ease is over, I will make sure to attend every blockchain host in my state. Knowledge is power.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 21, 2020, 12:13:34 PM
The possibility is not in doubts because bitcoin has already trying to dominates all over the countries, the ambitions of op is quite clear that bitcoin can take cover of oil and Gold across the world, because the rate of people adventuring into cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin and other coin's in the name of trading is in higher frequency, so from my perspective its not something that bitcoin can actualised these year but it will take space within a period of time. Because looking at present things that's happens in cryto world people purchase and invest in Btc more than any other thing.
Bitcoin adoption is growing so fast that we aren't even realizing it but not the way op stated. We are having huge adoption from institutional investors rapidly, if we could recall how millions of tether were printed the day bitcoin fell to.$3.7k, it was pump back to 4k-5k range, they should be in 4x of their investment.
Coming back to Gold and oil, Its not feasible to make such comparism with Bitcoin. There are so many factors that will oppose bitcoin use for daily spending, volatility is a major problem for all and would make utilization difficult. Gold and oil were affected by this Corona pandemic which caused lots of havoc but only with regulatory we can utilize oil and Gold.
Let's make example,

Day 1, bitcoin cost 10k and a liter of oil will cost 0.001btc
Day 2, bitcoin cost 12k, what will should happen to oil price, will the value remain or hanged?
These are the big factors and I believe government will not sit and watch. I love Bitcoin as store of value and cryptocurrency in general than any other assets though.

This chart shows Bitcoin and macro assets Return this year and their volatility, this shows bitcoin can never be oil and oil can never be bitcoin. They may be correlated due to some economic factors and big players in price manipulation.

690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LimitSwap on: October 20, 2020, 09:42:40 PM
Have you ever heard uniswap trading bot LimitSwap? they are provide automated trade in Uniswap by running their software, by hold 1 limit you can use thier basic software fuctions, while if you hold 10 LIMIT, you can enjoy VIP functions on their software, but privatekey is required to used their software, anyone here use them? are they safe to use?

here is limitswap website : https://www.limitswap.com/
So many swapping decentralized exchange here and there with the same purpose just different approache, what would have happen if Uniswap idea was never born?
Be careful and cautious before installing of any software into your PC, their website is just a landing page and 4 hyper link pages, it would have been easier if they have announcements thread on the forum for follow up and discussion.

@OP why do you need automated trading bot, they have limit to trading including your profit. Why not create one for your self or check service section, they have plenty of them for centralized exchanges.
Just a suggestion.  Kiss Kiss
691  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Balance on Exchanges Reducing on: October 20, 2020, 03:30:26 PM
Maybe that is one of the reason why such things happen, recently there are several exchange got hacked so I think people are securing their funds for a while and putting it to their secured personal wallets while preferring it for a hold. Although I believe that there will be a bull run coming still we need to be aware for some market flaws gonna happen to avoid any losses for looking more forward for bigger price pumps came.
The first exchange hacked that happened last month was Kucoin exchange when hacker tamper with their cold wallet and move away approximately $200 million worth of different coins, it affect the entire market as the same week, Donald Trump was reported to be positive to corona virus.
There have been another drama in Okex exchange about team who hold key to wallet exchange in police custody, who does that with such a huge funds?
According to Bitcoin.com, about 187,000 BTC worth Over $2 Billion has been move from top Exchanges Since June.
Compared the two image.
Image A shows total amount BTC that was sitting on crypto exchanges on June 2020

Image B indicate the amount of BTC remaining on top exchange 4 days ago according to  Bitcoin.com

Personally, there is no point for another person to keep holding my fund, it's not about trust, security comes first. An exchange can get hack and once insurance is not covered, you will get burned and end up with nothing. The time factor of refunding your account may take a while, the trumoil may be huge with market collapse.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin stock market Correlation Decoupling on: October 20, 2020, 05:40:27 AM
so it look like the stock and btc go both separete ways.

as btc vs stox Correlation Decoupling
what it could mean? Shocked
Bitcoin is still well corellated with S&P 500, the recent increase in price of Bitcoin was due to the recent news when Powell spoke in a panel hosted by international monetary fund about potential costs and benefits of Centra Bank Digital Currency for the US economy.
The last time i checked, Bitcoin performance was still tide to stock market. Check the image below, early this month, and increase in sp500 has always shift significantly to Bitcoin and vice versa.

Source:CryptoNews

That's S&P500 as line graph and Bitcoin as cadle chart and volume, there is slightly shift and deviation of Bitcoin from stock market in the second image, which of course everyone is waiting for the election day.  Bitcoin will decide its new path after US election by November.
By the way, this is the first time Bitcoin Price Has Only Ever Spent 93 Days Above $11,500
693  Economy / Economics / Re: Today is the Way when world economy will show on: October 19, 2020, 05:27:43 PM
So how much share will crypto get from the 3 trillion usd you think??

It doesn't matter, depend on how much that's pump into traditional markets. I know how the last stimulus trend and how $1.2k were flowing into coinbase but my belief depends on how much they are willing to pump into stock because of its correlation with Bitcoin. And increase in bitcoin will result to an increase in market cap.

There is no doubt that the big countries are entering a recession but that's not the end of the world. Probably we are moving towards a financial reset but time will tell when it happens!

Could it be that most countries economy performance are decreasing at increasing rate, there is always a demerit for every action, 3 trillion printed out of thin air will definitely have two side to economy and inflation is part of it.

*if Dow moves down by 2000 to 3000 points, I can't imagine how many companies will go bankrupt!
If Trump remain the president of US, that crook capitalist would do anything to stabilize the market. He is a pro investor and I can score him A for market come back during this bad time of pandemic, protest (about blacks) etcetera.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 19, 2020, 01:45:29 PM
Hey buddy, I like bitcoin, every idea and concept associated with it as a store of value but don't think bitcoin will replace Gold and Oil for now, it's not feasible perhaps in the future. The centralized Bodies/Government are watching bitcoin growth and every adoption, they know what they are doing and by the time it's no longer favourable for them, they threatened and use media to trash it value.
You must have seen how Bitcoin was so attached to  Gold and Dow Jones during the pandemic market sell, it was indeed a disaster because most investors in stock market, hold Bitcoin as well, a plunge in other market always has effect on Bitcoin.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LYRA Block Lattice on: October 18, 2020, 12:24:14 AM
I have been in Lyra Telegram group for few weeks now, but I must say that the team is commendable and hard working especially with their mainnet launch, merchants across the globe will be able to utilize cryptocurrency. What happen to the exchange listing on probit? Trading was scheduled to began on 15th, I haven't seen any announcements on trading since or there is change of mind?
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW] Scala | Smart ⭐, Mobile 📱, Distributed 🌐 and Anonymous 🕵️ on: October 17, 2020, 01:42:43 PM
You want your project to be self adopted by the entire users across the world and to experience what true power of decentralization entails, but with regulations problems against used of privacy coins, how do you plan to tackle such problems. It wouldn't be funny if your coin is labeled as alternate monero. We are all aware of dark web and how they utilize monero for their daily transactions.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi project ThouFinance (THOU) presale is on on: October 17, 2020, 08:04:05 AM
I still don't like the idea of newbie opening an announcements thread when they can't add images and team members, no much information about the user talkless of their reputation, how do you intend to raise money from investors, it will be difficult my friend.
Buy a copper member or at least higher a high rank member to post announcements for your projects, they will accept if yout project is really legit.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🔥[ANN] [ICO] JACS - Internet 3.0 Decentralized Infrastructure 🔥✅ on: October 16, 2020, 03:58:40 PM
Such a wonderful project that is backed by skilled developers, but users wouldn't want to rush the token sales because it's not DeFi.
There isn't a recent partnership from this project, it will do good for the token sales and recognition in other different crypto communities.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 💎 GemBites.com on: October 16, 2020, 07:44:15 AM
I rushed down to your announcement thread when I came across your Bounty thread, there is no development on the website, just a landing page and two paragraphs as Whitepaper. Your social handle is idle, no update and much information, how do you tend to convince investors to buy your tokens.
I bet if the Bounty hunters will have even good idea and intention of the project, please develop on your project before marketing and promotion else no one will take you serious.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network on: October 15, 2020, 10:13:44 PM
Just a few days launched, TON has received much attention from a different community, indeed a work by the developers to fork TON after the failed one by the Telegram company. Hope to see TON on a new exchange, I don't like that Korean exchange as it requires KYC for its users.

don't worry my friend, i believe in the near time TON will be listed on other exchange beside coineal
just check regularly TON in this link https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/ton-crystal
so, when TON tradeable on new exchange you will know it buddy

The traction Ton has recently received has merit the developers for their outstanding support and not letting the idea dead. Who knows, perhaps Binance listing might be imminent. I'm sure they are watching to see how the project progress.
If they can make listing to top 3 exchange, TON would be aiming at top 15 coins in the market cap.
