Last night we had someone log onto this account and delete all of those posts. So yes that is a huge problem. The account has now been brought under my wing. I don't support what happened I don't even know why someone would do that but the solution is a community take over.
I have now executed password changes on both the twitter account and this forum's account in order to rebuild this currency. I'm assuming one of the old devs knew the password and wanted to cover their tracks, or further ruin our efforts.
I'll officially announce it because this new team is about transparency. The original plot seems to be a pump and dump. Plain and simple. There was an unfair premine and the people who capitalized on it are now gone. I am the only one left.
What would the community like to know about me in order to show that we have a new Dev team in the making? I want to clear up all apprehension that the old team is still pulling strings.

I am not a fan of a relaunch since that would mean good bye to the BTC already invested by everyone here. I think the new team can save the coin.
We are doing everything we can to save it, we believe in its cause and what has been built. Plus we are coin holders too so don't you worry. |

I believe what Alec was trying to say was that "You got what you wanted" meant that the original development team left. We here can confirm that he is our new PR Director and we are indeed looking for more people with the technical expertise to help relaunch this coin. Alec has also expressed his interest in keeping all of his UVC and not giving up.
As for the relaunch goes, we have many plans and aspirations for either fostering this coin back to where it should be, or rather start over. That will be up to the new development team and what they decide is best for the currency.
Nothing is official yet and we are still working hard on saving this coin.
But we absolutely need people to help us out because this new team has been thrown into the fire and the more help the better.

It's dead and it's not coming back. There are too many altcoins already vying for people's attention. Once a coin dies theres virtually zero chance of bringing it back.
The difference is most coins are given up on by both the dev team and the community. We know the community was expecting a lot from this coin. Based on the current situation the original team left and now the community is taking control. I know this will be more of a long haul. But I'm not giving up yet, neither should you! Neither am I |

look at the mintpal voting support you had 'dev team' and you walk away. How can you have a disagreement on a new coin you all planned to make successful. None of this makes sense apart from a huge waste of time and most likely, lies lies lies. Where Is the 0.5% premine?...... Good luck to all. I assume since most of the dev team is gone they are the reason we are down at these levels  But the question is, was there ever a group of people in the dev team or was it since start a one man show? And he realized now that he can't handle all stuff alone. We did have a team of 5 people. |

Edit - just quote the OP: "College and University classes have just ended for the summer and this team will be working tirelessly to make UVC a success. This will include constant development and updates from our computer science team and maximum exposure from our marketing team." And how do you come to this conclusion? Enough with the false assumptions. Also our OP also says "LONG TERM STRATEGY" .. We never said UVC was going to rocket to the moon overnight. Script-Asics & Multipools accumulated a lot of UVC, we have no control over that. Instead of being a troll why not contact us to help out..? We have made various strategic partnerships, however none have panned out. Therefore we're looking for people to help with engaging the community while we work behind the scenes. Oh that's funny. Because I did. Response I received? None. Your PM was a statement... You said "Check the marketing email listed in OP" not "hey I'd like to get involved with UVC and help out." Unless you're referring to something else.. People need to realize UVC is 2 weeks old, we have never said "WERE GOING TO THE MOON" and instead said our project is long-term and will be incremental. Let the whale-miners and MPools liquidate their last holdings of UVC so they can buy the next pump coin that comes around, and let the UVC buy orders creep back up with people who share our vision. We have no control over this and can only discuss what we plan to do. As we have said before, our media push is coming this week, if anyone has a place they would like to see UVC listed, then contact us. Guys Poloniex has been launching new coins with crazy trading volumes which affects UVC. This is why continuously voting on MintPal and Cryptsy so we can get on one of these exchanges by the end of the month will be beneficial.

UniversityCoin, please do not concentrate on Mintpal. You are wasting your time. They will never add you until there is volume. It doesn't matter at all about the votes. They add who they want. Concentrate on the coin and the value will follow. How about you have a marketing strategy "before" you get on Mintpal. Your statement basically says that you will have a long term strategy after you are on Mintpal!! How about a short term strategy, then a long term strategy, the Mintpal if you wish. This! Well said. You shouldn t focused on mintpal. Play your cards. Fill us in. What is your coin idea? how do you see the next steps? Is there a beta version for the multipool? any progress with the android wallet? We have found an individual who is able to build PoS android wallets, however they require payment in BTC for the job. At this point we have agreed that an Android Wallet is something that is going to take time and is not our highest priority at the moment. We will be aiming to have the development started for this project by the end of the month and will collaborate with the community on how we can accomplish this task. Currently, we are looking to make a huge media push this week to promote UVC and the multipool. We now have the pieces in place to start raising huge awareness: Successful transition to PoS, functional Multipool and a high-volume exchange. Also, allow me to explain our earlier comment about MintPal. Getting on MP is a long process and is something that needs to be worked on by this community daily. We are working hard behind the scenes to make things happen for this project, however we really need you guys to continue voting on a daily basis as frequently as possible so we can gain some ground on the competition. MP is key to an altcoin's long-term success, and hitting their exchange sooner rather then later will only be beneficial. We have lots of things planned for this month and will continue to accomplish our goals.
