681  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: July 24, 2022, 11:14:19 PM
I didn't find much to add after reading the previous comments, so I would like to point out an important point that may be missing from some. There have been attempts for more than a decade to abandon the flow of Russian gas to Europe for fear, for the main reason being to reduce the strength of Russia, which began to recover after the collapse of the Soviet Union. I began to notice this by trying to overthrow the regime in Syria to facilitate the laying of gas pipelines from the State of Qatar, and of course Russia stood by this by providing the Syrian regime with the necessary support, including military forces, weapons, money and all that was needed. When the countries failed to bring down Syria, they turned directly to Ukraine and put it in the mouth of the cannon to influence Russia. Who benefits? America, of course. Who is affected? European countries that follow Mama America.
Now Biden has gone to Saudia Arabia To ask for Oil. What a joke - they have been putting sanctions on Russia - destroyed the world's economy and now asking Saudia to give them oil.
So in the quest to destroy Russia and Afghanistan and Pakistan and Srilanka - the world is in trouble.
682  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 24, 2022, 10:46:42 PM
There are several ways that the Sri Lankan government can do to rise from the economic crisis. one of them is by providing massive incentives in the form of reducing tax rates and also reducing interest rates. or also by means of fiscal expansion. although this method will run slowly however. can be very effective when done correctly and honestly.

What they need now is foreign currency to be able to buy essential items for life and restore production in this country. They will not be able to recover without foreign currency to import raw materials and food and medicine for the people.
The problem is if that country can't recover without the help from IMF to give another loan. Everything already destroyed and that's the only way to help it. That needs another loan from IMF to be able to recover the damage. Everything is collapse. Even with the new president and that may not help a lot. Sri lanka didn't have enough foreign exchange reserves anymore to buy oil, grain and many more from another countries.

Without loan and that's almost an impossible thing to make sri lanka to recover.
The whole world is in chaos - - the covid was not gone when Afghan - US war took a drastic change and brought instability in the region. Then come Russian war
and Sri Lanka and Pakistan wanted to remain neutral - both the government have been toppled. Now Biden coming to Saudi for oil will result in increase in the price again. What is going on in the world.
683  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S dollar almost equal to Euro on: July 24, 2022, 10:43:09 PM

What is the point of sanctions against Russian oil/energy if India is allowed to buy and process their oil?
What if India uses cheap Russian oil to refine and manufacture products derivated from oil to export towards allies like USA?
It does not make much sense, because indirectly Russian Oil still have place withtin the market of USA and their western allies.

I am surprised Biden's administration have not seriously called out Modi's.
Now after creating the mess - Bidan has gone to Saudia Arabia to save himself from the defeat in mid term election.
Biden is not a good president - I think Trump America was far better than Biden. He has created the Russia ban mess and now again there is hike in petrol prices.
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: July 24, 2022, 10:41:15 PM

All of us do knows that we do die and you are just taking things too personal and its true that there's no permanent on this world and the love on searching for money? You cant really
remove it on someones desire on earning money no matter what kind of way or path they would be taking and that would really be resulting on being greedy but we know that  there are people
who are really that good on controlling themselves on being greedy too much on such scenarios because they are aware that too much greed wont really be giving out positive outcome.
Trading is a hard thing to sustain considering that you are dealing with unpredictable market then it is really not a good idea on making yourself prone in too much errors and mistakes.
Sometimes lust for money takes us to nowhere. We loss peace of mind and our health.
It's good to learn to live with in the means and gamble less and try to invest in the things which are productive and more stress free.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: July 23, 2022, 10:21:39 PM
I don't understand the meaning of this gamblers' division into subtypes. I don't like all these frames, personality types, and so on. They create the effect of artificial restrictions. Human characteristics are too complex and multifaceted to be crammed into a list. I don't consider myself to be of any type, and gambling plays the role of a challenge for me.
If you do not think you fit any category that is fine, however the majority of people show a set of characteristics which then can be categorized, now it is true that human behavior is incredibly complex but when we narrow the scope then enough common points can be observed in order to create categories, and I think gambling is narrow enough to allow for the creation of categories like that as the amount of behaviors and reasons to gamble are limited.
I am a lone gamblor - devastated and trying to quit gambling.
I have a long story of having an unsuccessful gambling - but now I don't have anything to gamble and loss - I am a lone traveller and i believe life goes on without money as well.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 23, 2022, 10:19:18 PM

Isn't it strange that he retired from the shorter format of the game but will keep on playing the shortest format IPL?

Anyways even if he retires from international cricket, he will be playing IPL for many years. Also when you have no pressure from the Int. cricket, sometimes you may perform well in the domestic cricket or franchise-based formats.
Kohli performance has gone down after his marriage - I believe he has started believing he is a bollywood star too and he must focus on his looks and career rather than his performance - I have seen one of the interviews where he said he will not eat pakora because he has achieved his fitness after huge struggle - but where did his performance go - time to eat pakora now.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 23, 2022, 10:16:00 PM
Thanks for your advice, at this point, I am on a mission. Hope vs reality Smiley

Trading is a game of whales that has been going on for almost a decade and people will always fall for it.
But if we believe the noise is trading then we can easily be fooled.
We need to let go of the negativity.

Not sure what you mean by "game of whales". Trading isn't any game of whales or anything. Nobody "falls" for trading. They choose to trade. Only those who thinks that trading is "easy" and can help you get rich, are the fools. They don't realize that you can only lose when trading.
But if we believe the noise is trading then we can easily be fooled.
No one is fooling anyone. People are just dumb enough to not want to do they own research before starting to do anything.
Nobody knows! There could be a series of ups and downs before the market fully revolves. Experts say that this crypto winter will last for at least 2 years. Guess we have to wait to find that out.
Those self proclaimed experts claims are nothing but BS. They randomly guess stuffs and feeds people with words.
The system will keep going as it is and we will be used to it.
The only solution is to get earn more money and not to look back what is going on around the world. Just focus on earning more and more money.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 23, 2022, 10:14:34 PM

Here on my country where these loan apps becomes even more strict due to the rise of issues in regarding of debtors arent paying back on what they had loaned thats why KYC is now needed
because if someone doesnt tend to repay any loan then they would be really be experiencing some legal issues later on but it does depend on the company.
In general advise then its really true that taking up some loan should really be having that consideration and check for yourself if you would able to pay it back or not.
Dont take a loan if you arent that responsible on paying it back and its understandable that these things does have high interest but on times when you are in need or emergency
then you would really be having not choice or option but to deal with it.
you are correct not to take the loan - - when the interest rate is so high but sometime people are so helpless that they have no other choice but to jump in fire.
Most of the time banks suck every drop of blood in the body and leave the person to die in the heat.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: July 23, 2022, 10:11:52 PM
Now Europe and the whole world are reaping the fruits of those wrong decisions in the form of an unprecedented spike in inflation for developed countries. Even the ECB is already forced to start raising the key rate, and this directly means the end of the era of cheap money. Each percentage increase in the key rate for the US and the EU is a hundred billion dollars and euros of overhead costs in the form of interest on debt servicing.
I believe no country will be able to manage the supply of oil and gas apart from Russia.
Every country will in EU will return back to Russia that is the only solution the other solutions will take time and a lot of money so lets get back to the Russia
690  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 23, 2022, 10:06:12 PM
This is the result if the president as a leader cannot make wise decisions for the welfare of the people and only cares about himself.
I believe Sri Lanka will be much better after this very sad event, hopefully a strong leader will emerge and be able to advance the country.
Most of these corrupt leaders won't resign even if the country is facing severe economic hardship except being forcefully removed that was the situation with Sri Lanka, corruption is deep rooted in the country such that those leaders are unperturbed about the welfare of a common man, I believe this latest uprising in Sri Lanka will serve as a lesson to other corrupt leaders in other countries who are living in affluence at the mercy of their citizens, I forsee a similar revolution in those countries in the nearest future especially some African countries except they do needful to avert the calamity that might befall them.
I believe Srilanka situation is not that bad the way we perceive - people are going there and enjoying their time in Sri Lanka.
However - people of Sri Lanka did rise and showed their anger against their government. Which is their right ...
691  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S dollar almost equal to Euro on: July 23, 2022, 10:04:33 PM
Russia has recorded huge profits due to Europe's sanctions, which drove oil prices to skyrocket. On top of that, they've also resorted in finding other markets to sell their oil, such as India and China. The only losing party is Europe, not Russia, we're the ones getting screwed over by the excessive fueling costs.
Due to the high population density it makes sense that India and China are clear alternative markets for Russian energy. China buying Russian gas/oil is something I saw coming, but something I did not expect was India taking this opportunity as well.  As far as I knew India has a quite stable diplomatic and economical relations with the USA, I would have guessed they would join the boycot.  Huh

India only has negative relationship with China but not Russia. I kinda expected them to bite in on the oil bargain by the Russians. They needed that quick profit, and what can the US and its allies do anyway? They can just call out India for the said behavior but that's about it. Profits are already realized for Russia, and it looks like everything is business as usual, too, for US and EU by looking for other oil sellers in the form of the Middle East and Africa.
India played a very good game. They supported America and then they got the oil from Russia as well.
I must appreciate the Indian government for playing dule game and also since India is American Allie they always support Indian Govermnet

The best option to be more confident is to have enough experience. To do this, I tried to work longer on the demo account of the Amarkets broker in order to have more experience and knowledge.
I think you need to have good confidence before doing anything. If you don't have any confidence before doing anything, you will never be successful. Think carefully before doing anything.  Once he starts, he should never pull back from him.

When you gain enough knowledge about trading, your confidence level will increase. Most of the traders who have been trading in the market for a long time have come to the market with trading knowledge before taking entry into live trading. If you come to trading in the market with confidence without knowing well about the market, then it will become over confidence. So you have no other option to enter the market with confidence.
Money game is a strange game - we keep running after it - and we forget all the trouble which we create for the others.
And one day we are all gonna die. Leaving all the things behind. It's good to have love for money alongside - have love for the people too.
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 18, 2022, 11:02:20 PM
Many people misunderstand and quote wrongly between gambling and trading. Some people compare and define gambling with bitcoin as same thing. But from my perspective i have not seen any that collabrate gambling and trading of cryptocurrency. Gambling is game which start with prediction and it's been predicted according to what you observe with both parties. So someone wants to give definition of trading as gambling, the person should give the comparison and differentiate both in a tabular form.
We can't deny that there is no similarity between gambling and trading. According to me, in both trading and gambling we risk to increase our chance of making a good return out of the risked amount. With gambling this happens out of statistics and information gathered relative to the players and the teams involved. With Trading this gets completely associated with the market movements and the prediction connective to the past years.
ANYTHING which brings you instant money and excites you and you lose your peace of mind too is harmful - trading and gambling are same.
Yes - I repeat it takes away so much from person - that they don't even know they are drained and they lose their peace of mind mind
694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: July 18, 2022, 10:58:30 PM
To have minimal losses when entering the market, you need to understand the market and financial literacy. I recommend you to read more about it in books. There are also many excellent sites like medium where there are articles about it. By the way, I recently found information about SingularityDAO there. This application is for me the most ambitious of the majority. I made a bet that this would be a successful project and decided to invest in dynasets. I really hope that this will be the right decision for me in the future. Has anyone heard anything about this?
Not really, but it sounds very interesting, however I second what you say, I particularly had bad experiences when I started trading, the truth is I didn't know anything about anything, and I started watching youtubers and paying attention to technical analysis and what I did was lose money, but later I studied a lot the books on market speculators and they helped me a lot, and one of the things that I value a lot and that I always look for a way to see is that through the volume you can read everything of the chart.

what should one do if someone is going through terrible financial crisis and it is hard to survive in this inflation?
I think I am at the brink - where there is nothing to lose at all. The inflation is eating me up like crazy

You will only have the confidence to trade if you acquire at least the basic knowledge to do it. Trading is too broad and not knowing how it works will surely lead you to losses due to misconceptions and wrong beliefs. You should have the right mental and emotional condition before doing it because the volatility of the market could lead you into a roller coaster ride of emotions. Before you start, make sure that you're equipped with enough information about technical analysis as well as the potential of the coin that you're going to trade.
It is good to have some decent amount of money but having greed for money and then going to one step ahead having lust for money is another level of stuff.
Where you call the trouble yourself - you are a winner or you are a terrible loser there is no mercy in this game and there is no boundaries.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S dollar almost equal to Euro on: July 18, 2022, 10:47:25 PM

Although there was some kind of relief in the market, crude oil's price is increasing once again, trending at $100 for WTI and $104 for Brent oil as we speak. I've read a few predictions that it might fall in the upcoming months, but the EUR/USD rate of exchange isn't helping and certainly isn't going to recover back to pre-war levels anytime soon. The issue is, that inflation keeps soaring and there's no noticeable relief. Gas prices dropped from €2.50/liter of unleaded 95 petrol to €2.29/liter, which isn't a significant difference, the cost of fueling is still extravagant.
Inflation is hitting the world hard and this is the hard time for every county - this Euro and dollar coming together is an alarm for both the counties but i think now the time has passed - thing will get more tougher with every passing day
697  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 18, 2022, 10:39:53 PM
Sri Lanka have been suffering economic crises for a long. People were protesting against the government for a long, but government didn't hear the voices of the citizens. The government should've taken active measures, but the government kept receiving more aid from neighbouring countries as well as more debts. Atleast this could've been used in the right way. This is were people lost their temper and marched towards the capital. It'll take years for them to get out of the economic crises.
Sri Lankan people have show the government the doors.
it take courage to do such thing - but they did it. The people of Sri Lanka believes that the corrupt government should go now and they did what majority though was right
698  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: July 18, 2022, 10:37:57 PM
From this perspective, all wars are absurd, and thus we cancel all those historical narratives about states' strategies and intelligence interests.
Your talk seems logical to a large extent, but it is really difficult for me to accept that a giant authority like Russia, with its arms extended to protect its interests in all parts of the world, takes decisions based on whims and not from an objective study of reality.
And to be frank, I was somewhat convinced that Russia wants to put an end to NATO's presence on its borders by getting its hands on Ukraine as well as protecting its interests from selling gas to Europe. But when I read information about it selling oil for half its price, I really feel that something is missing from my analysis and that things may be much deeper.

Absolutely agree with your assumption. When I tell people who do not live in Russia and Ukraine what Russia is doing, they tell me - "hey guy, stop it! It can't be like that! They're not complete idiots!".
.... But then I turn on Russian channels to them, show documentary footage .. And they sit, with frozen bewilderment on their faces, and say "no ... well, it shouldn't be like that ... This is nonsense! ... But so it is!... How can this be?"

Believe me - what seems abnormal to a normal person is the norm in Russia Smiley

"And to be frank, I was somewhat convinced that Russia wants to put an end to NATO's presence on its borders by getting its hands on Ukraine as well as protecting its interests from selling gas to Europe." - on this occasion, I say very simple, logical, and, importantly, easily verifiable information: before Russia's terrorist attack on Ukraine, Ukraine had NO PLANS TO JOIN NATO! There was only a desire to switch to new, progressive standards of building an army according to the Western model, instead of the morally, technically and ideologically outdated concept of building an army according to the "Soviet".

It is also easy to prove the lies of other Russian propaganda narratives, just double-check them, and soon you will understand what is actually being built on a LIE!
WE have gone through enough after this Ukraine and Russia war.
The inflation and the regime change and trouble all over the world is really now unbearable.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: July 18, 2022, 10:36:36 PM
Over the week, a friend and I had a conversation about loans and loan apps and she shared a bitter experience of how she was unable to write a very important exam because the money meant for payment of fees to qualify for that exam was deducted by a certain loan app that she collected money from a while ago.  Who will you really blame? My friend for not paying up as at when due or the loan app for not notifying her before the deduction.
In all, I advice that we should try to avoid any business with loan apps as they seem to be very numerous these days and are easily accessible. Most importantly, You should know that you are at the danger of developing a habit of borrowing from them if you patronise loan apps even for the smallest amount.
Loan is a cure - especially when you are taking from bank
My father always advised us not to take loan from the bank because you are always unaware of the hidden terms and conditions. This has happened with me too. I have registered for a company and they deducted my money and that was the horrible day for me .
700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right time to invest on: July 18, 2022, 10:33:40 PM
No one knows because everyone is different in choosing the right time to invest, if you want advice from other people it will be different but you can do it yourself with the efforts you can, for example thinking about the right price, the risks to be faced and the benefits that already targeted it must have a good plan for your investment.
The only thing now is that you have to start by yourself and will start the experience it will make some lessons that you feel, bitcoin has a relative price to buy as long as your target is clear.
There is no right time to invest - if you want to do it do it now.
Start saving up and investing your money - because in the investment can save you from trouble nothing else - because financial freedom is very important.
