You have to admit dev, this is tough to see, especially for the growing number of people that want this project to do well.  Some info would really help with morale. This project has so much potential, please support your supporters a little more. After over 2.5 years invested in this project, it's starting to give the whiff of vapourware. Prove me wrong dev!  @vTorrent This image clearly shows you are building torrent functionality around Transmission, which is a great option. It also shows your client is fully syncd, that you have a fully working torrent implementation because your seed ratio clock is completely in sync with the public blockchain. There looks like a stable release candidate on the network. If you look at the bottom of the image it clearly shows torrent functionality is working on the devs client. The text in red looks like something cooking on the payment for torrents front  I also just noticed that torrents are working on the current version of the client, so we probably don't have to do a hard fork to see it working (or do we?) |

Looks like the dev has a working implementation but he is not releasing it just yet. He is making us all sweat a bit while he picks up some cheap coins. |

... Fixed, it is now showing 10 at the time, please keep in mind that block data is a direct feed from client's blockchain, so the client needs to be synced up in order to show current block data. If you don't have a plan around open sourcing everything, a video is a very good idea to help with the price as well. Otherwise what will happen is that you'll release stuff and others will copy it and vTorrent will get left behind, despite being the creator. If you want to start closed source, that's fine too. But, imo, a video will clearly show everyone this project is worth backing and so it will get established. Everyone else who then tries to copy will be ignored. |

I take my hat off to them for open sourcing it, they are going to get so much respect from other coins, it will surely add value to their project. Even the exchanges will be more secure now. They are running it off a central server and it's copied from somewhere else, by the looks of it (can't be bothered to check tbh as its centralized). It's just smoke and mirrors. Shows how hard it is to do a decentralized 2FA, as you see working inside vtorrent. |

The technique VTR has employed on the other hand is innovative. But they won't open source it, so we don't know how it works and how secure it is. they are going to open source it - they said they would open source it when they were ready. |

PIVX has a PoS master node set-up.
Please show a pic or video of torrent features, then people will probably be ok with having master nodes added.

Looks like our community is growing...I have 34 connections now!  Remember than we are still at the early days...! @vtorrent : After days of usage I'm very happy with our wallet after last fork, much more fast now even if I hav more than 55k transaction in my wallet! can you help me to create a conf file? what I have to write in conf file to get more nodes? Was hacked last night  lost some altcoin but it was only small amount! My Bitcoin are safe thanks to my Trezor...and my vtorrent are still here...thanks to 2FA I guess  How did you get hacked? It will be good to know how he got hacked, if he knows. But most important is that the hackers could steal shitcoins, but not VTR coins. I love this project. I really do. Just think of the development discussions about releasing a torrent project where you can download a virus or malware: Dev 1 "We need to have a way for users to not lose their coins" Dev 2 "Yeah, lets build 2FA into the wallet" Dev 3 "Jesus, that's going to be fucking hard. It'll probably slow us down for a while" Dev 4 "We've got to build it. It doesn't make a difference how long it takes. Without it, we can't progress." Dev 2 "I've been working on a solution. I think we can make this work." vTorrent devs "2FA released." Drop the mic.  |

Dzimbeck, the wild west days of alts are long past. I have no hard feelings, actually quite the opposite...I am refreshed to see the people who are still around from those days. Your dedication to your project is admirable. It's great to see you are still working on Bitbay. I've been watching the project from the beginning (I own a small chunk of coins...😝). The Halo projects were revolutionary and before their time, they were like the first "smart contracts" in crypto. We could have made a great team back in those days...
I have had no involvement with SDC for a couple years, nor do I own any coins. I have nothing to do with the team other than I believe Ryno is an honest person and (like you) dedicated to his project. I agree with your take on the "shadow" branding, but as I said, I have no involvement in the decisions.
You are right we could have made a great team. However I am not anonymous and as you have seen I've had my fair share of problems with govt trolls. So its a good thing I didn't do darknet centric markets. Although in theory the markets are anonymous and such, we are branding to a larger audience. I was interviewed by Vice.com and told them the same thing. I'm not going to end up like the reddit guy or piratebay guys and definitely not like Ross Ulbright. I'm fighting for peoples freedoms but if I don't watch my ass then I won't be able to keep fighting and my story would have ended before it started. If I chose that path I would have not been able to keep coding at this pace. Granted, I'm not obligated to moderate markets. Just like the inventor of uTorrent can't possilby control what torrents are traded. But uTorrent was wise to not brand for anything except filesharing. In the case of Halo, it does this as well. We aren't branding anything except DDE and decentralization as a whole, we are simply doing everything in our power to protect peoples right to privacy and protect them from deception. I'm not sure if that will ever get compromised however we are trying to promote good ideas in the hopes that other projects will see those ideas and be inspired to use them in their own projects. It was a shame to see SYS and OpenBazaar choose escrow models even when their own users asked for a DDE/mutually assured destruction model. This is why I've always been fond of SDC for remaining true to the idea of decentralization and doing the right thing and choosing two party escrow. Anyways, keep in touch... don't be a stranger.
