I would love to do some freelance work, but nobody wants to hire me.

Anyway, thanks for this article.
684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: At what point (hash) is solo mining viable? on: July 23, 2014, 12:52:49 PM
By mining in pool you sure get small amount of BTC but at least you get something. By going solo you may mine for years (with 15gh/s) and still getting zero.

Stocks are risky too. We don't know what future brings, just hope for the best.

I live in toronto. If your looking to make a profit with mining bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, your pretty much too late, other than massive expensive ASICS.

Since you have primedice signature you become big spammer.

Hi, I'm Jenna from Toronto, ON and I'm new to the bitcoins scene and just wanted to say hi to all of you.
Yes I'm female and yes I feel out of place, but I overheard some guy at the gym mention that he "mined" $1,000 worth of bitcoins and it kind of intrigued me.
As a student and with a bit of free time I'm going to try to obtain some bitcoins, it may help pay food.

Anyways, I just wanted to present myself and say hi.

Welcome to bitcointalk. Smiley

Bitcoin mining was easy (can be done with your gaming computer) and profitable, but I am afraid the good times are gone already.
With the development of more and more efficient ASICs, the mining difficulty has been going up rapidly and it is very hard to get profit in mining now.

That is true, I have already turned off my rig, because it is not profitable anymore and rather play games with it  Cheesy

Check this out:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291387.0
But don't spam or you won't get anything!

whether there are allowed to follow more than one signature?

I've mengikutin another signature Smiley

it is usually a few signatures will prohibit it
no, they won't allow it
for multiple signature, this campaign allow it :
minersource - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586898.0
coinsource (pay in altcoin) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=665860.0
bitmixer - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=425135.0
it seems some of them already closed Sad
what is "mengikutin" means?

nothing for members  Cry
I may have to wait until a full member to be multiple signatures
even then if not full minersource

Aren't you already wearing multiple signatures (Coinsource + Icebergcoin), though both of them pay you in altcoin? Smiley

Icebergs were already payed out, so you can remove your sig. For multiple signatures you can also use http://bitcoin-scratchticket.com/

690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long have you been using Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2014, 08:48:17 AM
I started using bitcoin in december 2013. But at first I bought LTC, because of a bubble. Worst decision ever (as LTC was going down all the time till then).

Where can I see if any post had been edited? If I edit post in 2 minutes does it count like I edited it or not?

I also haven't used cryptocurrency for buying drugs, but considering it is anonymous maybe I will in the future.  Wink
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie here , need advice! on: July 10, 2014, 02:09:43 PM
If temps are under 70 degrees I think it will be ok.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie here , need advice! on: July 10, 2014, 01:19:51 PM
Is there anyway I can see that? It's not overheated Smiley
Use coretemp for cpu temperature and gpu-z for graphic cards temperature. Both programs are portable so you don't need to install anything.
699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to transfer my BTC into cash? on: July 10, 2014, 12:54:37 PM
There is 0.2% (get lowered with more trades) fee on trading so definitely they make quiet a big profit.
700  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to transfer my BTC into cash? on: July 10, 2014, 12:31:45 PM
I am using kraken, because you don't need to send them photos of ID and such staff. Over SEPA money comes in 2 days, withdraw is only 9 cents.

there isn't a % fee for every withdrawl?

if it's only 9 cents per withdrawl, that's awesome Cheesy

Yes I had € on my kraken account and was using SEPA withdraw to my TRR and only fee was 0.09€.
