681  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin trading - economy information on: November 01, 2016, 10:42:14 PM
Where do you guys get the information which you use to make daily/hourly trading decisions?

Twitter can be a good source of picking up trends.
If you are looking for technical charts, then it is best to stick to the exchange which you trade in.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 01, 2016, 10:40:09 PM
Pakistan is really struggling in their second innings,Asad Shafiq bagged a double pair, Holder bowled really well and claimed three wickets and west indies are having the upper hand here to strangle Pakistan , it is very difficult for Pakistan to win from this situation,Srilanka is having a lead of 411 runs and rain has delayed the match and it is looking like a draw if the rain continues.
Yes, Pakistan is in deep trouble now, Brathwaite played superb innings. Pakistan lost 4 wickets just for 84 runs. They lead by 31 runs. Second innings WI bowled superbly especially captain Jason Holder. He picks 3 wickets in that duck out. I think now this match will become interesting let's see who will win any guess?

I would still not bank on a West Indies win. WI have shown flashes of brilliance in the past, only to let us down. Pakistan leads by 31 runs at stumps, and if they can add 150 more runs, West Indies will have a challenging target to chase.
683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Consifering US dollar is very strong recently, breaking 700 means a lot on: October 30, 2016, 02:38:38 AM
The Swiss national train service making Bitcoin purchases available through all its ticket machines means a lot. Breaking 7000 isn't inconceivable next year with mainstream companies like that taking Bitcoin seriously. Bitcoin's all over the news again, and for the right reasons. The news of the Bitfinex hack held the price down, but once good news started again the price started breaking upwards.

PS

The OP ihas a typo in it, "Consifering" should be spelt considering.
700 Seems big, but so did 1000 back in 2013.  However, I doubt we'd jump that high in 2017.  Bitcoin is gaining more tracking and the growth may be exponential, but I'd expect to see a fall and a quiet January before it jumps again.  Pure speculation though.

A lot of people consider that an ATH over the next few months is a done deal. All we need is something to get the bull rally started off.
We know how insanely prices can be pushed up in the crypto-world.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 30, 2016, 02:33:04 AM
Finally India won the series. The score was not that high with 269 but they managed to take all the wickets on NZ early in the game (mostly because NZ played really bad) but I'm really happy that they won this series. Kuddos to Amit Sharma and all the players.

India won the match comprehensively, although they narrowly took the series.
Another interesting match seems to be building up in the subcontinent. Bangladesh look well-positioned to put up a strong total. The morning session will be crucial to the home team.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 29, 2016, 01:47:37 AM
Tomorrow will be a great match between India and Nz.Both will be eager to win the series because series is level 2-2.I think India gonna win the match, they are playing well and home ground will give them extra benefits.I am excited to watch it.

This match now will be very entertaining to viewers because series is level now and both teams will put full strength to win this series. I think NZ will not give up so easily to India to win this match so it is not good to bet as of now instead wait for match to start then we can decide on the team to choose. I personally think India may win this match.

New Zealand will feel good that they have pushed the ODI series to the decider, after being white-washed in the test series.
India need to give a comprehensive performance to win today.
686  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2016, 01:46:19 AM
Bitcoin used to be called Gold in cryptocurrencies, but I think both are different and have their own limitations.
Gold is physical and tangible asset, while Bitcoins are virtual and have less value currently compared to Gold.
Even both have a huge difference between their market cap, so comparing both doesn't make sense IMO.
Well, they are different. I think bitcoin is still better than gold. I also felt that developing gold, is more difficult than in developing bitcoin, but it is very easy to get bicoin than gold. so I feel that bitcoin is still better than gold, even better, and I believe when the bitcoin prices climbed above $ 800, all the people who like gold, will switch seek bitcoin

Gold bugs switching to Bitcoin just because of price won't happen. Gold has been around for centuries while Bitcoin has only been around for a few years. Somebody who feels a sense of security in locking up his gold bars in his vault won't switch to Bitcoin overnight.
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price we would be at if Btifinex disaster didn't happen? on: October 29, 2016, 01:44:15 AM
I think we would have easily crossed the 700$ cap if that didn't happened, but sadly it happened, that's the past.

$700 will be attained in a day or two. Wink
The price is at $690 now and the trend only seems to be upward.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: SBB (Swiss railway company): Make quick and easy purchases with Bitcoin. on: October 29, 2016, 01:42:33 AM
Just WOW!
The Swiss railway company will sell start from 11.11.2006 Bitcoins to its over 1000 ticket machines.
http://www.sbb.ch/en/station-services/services/further-services/bitcoin.html

The bitcoin mainstream future has begun in Switzerland!

This is big news. But will this sustain?
Let us see what happens when the novelty factor wears off.
689  Economy / Speculation / Re: It took only 11 days to go from 639 to 1148 last time on: October 25, 2016, 11:52:06 PM
Just to echo what the poster about me said, there simply isn't enough new users & new fiat being pumped into bitcoin at the moment. We desperately need something to give the price a real boost.

I was dreaming of much higher prices than we are currently seeing.

There are vast untapped markets in emerging economies... Africa, India, etc.
We just need a fraction of them to adopt Bitcoin and the price will go through the roof.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed Considers Buying Stocks on: October 25, 2016, 11:45:12 PM
Considers buying stocks?  You realize even in their unaudited published numbers they claim to have purchased more than 4 trillion in equities...

https://www.federalreserve.gov/monetarypolicy/bsd-federal-reserve-banks-financial-information-201608.htm

Many believe the real number is >20 trillion dollars...

That's actually really interesting, I didn't know that information was available.

I would be interested to know your (OGNasty) or anyone elses opinion on the Fed buying stock.
Is this a necessary diversification of investments, a desperate attempt at stabilization, or something else?

Maximising returns (through diversification) is not an objective of the Fed.
They would be looking at maintaining a stable environment, conducive for growth.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 25, 2016, 11:41:46 PM
India Vs New Zealand 4th ODI starts today,Suresh raina is still rested as well as Ashwin and Jadeja and india is having a lot of confidence in the team they have and i expect india to win quite easily

India will be favourites to win the fourth match and the series. The pitch at Ranchi will help turn, unlike the pitch at Mohali.
The spinners who replace Ashwin and Co should take advantage of this.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: October 24, 2016, 01:46:57 AM
I don't have passive income right now except sig campaign and i earn here approximately of 0.175 bitcoin monthly and that's good rate for me as a student and i don't really know what's next i trade sometimes and i do gambling also but all in all i just holding my coins waiting for the bitcoin increase.

Sig campaign s not really a passive income cause you have to be active and contribute daily in order to get paid. Passive income means running on autopilot and it s really hard to find something like that these days.

Yes, find passive income heavier. We need a lot of money initially to then receive a good passive income. I have a passive income - deposit in the bank. But there is very little interest

Money on the bank is not a passive income, that is just a saving that earns a very very little interest.  Maybe if you have a time deposit on a bank, it earns a little bit higher than the normal savings account. If you get that money and put it in a stock market, then you can say you have a passive income.

Actually, the rate of return doesn't decide whether the return is active or passive. Bank interest, deposit interest all can be considered passive income, although the rate of return is slow. Stock market, if you put your money in an index fund and don't trade often, can be considered passive income too.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Deutsche Bank: How long before it crashes now? on: October 24, 2016, 01:43:40 AM
Wait until the EU collapses, they're all going down faster than a cheap hooker. Why do you think GB were desperare to get out & leave that sinking ship.
Brexit is a result of referendum - it was citizens who voted, government with David Cameron as PM actually was against Brexit.
IIRC officials were desperately promoting European Union as the only way for Britain to exist in Europe.

Even those who voted for Brexit might regret it now. The uncertainty surrounding the Brexit process is worrisome.
If a second vote for held today, I think the sentiment is for Britain to stay in Europe.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 24, 2016, 01:40:34 AM
Bangladesh just need 33 more runs to win the match and play has been called off for the day,Sabbir Rahman is the lone fighter and if he could take bangladesh home then it would be a great victory and morale for the team.
from 199 for 8 New Zealand reached 285 runs Neesham and Henry played a wonderful knock and i really missed a big opportunity here by not wagging for New Zealand to score above 260
Bangladesh vs England match is still in balance I believe England can take 2 early wickets tomorrow they are upper hands just S Rahman cannot give victory to Bangladesh but they fight well and now have courage to win matches against big teams at home

I don't think England have the upper hand. The match is really in the balance.
But in any case, Bangladesh will draw comfort from their strong performance in a tight match.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price just broked $650, so we next stop will be $700 by end of this week on: October 23, 2016, 03:43:22 PM
Today Price bounces by $20 overnight and today is first day of this week so i think we are heading towards $700 which may get touched by end of this week, what are your speculation.

How much you guys have right now and will you short some when it reach $700 again or not?

$700 is a huge jump. We seem to be comprehensively out of the $30-$640 range now.
I would bet on $675 being the next resistance level.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 23, 2016, 03:38:08 PM
India is in very good position with so many wickets in hand there is nothing serious what a happen now. Bangladesh in test match that is still unreliable situation as tomorrow in early hours English bowlers can take benefit of moisture in air. Pakistan played in 2nd inning unexpectedly good. I was not expecting this kind of game by them.

As long as Kohli is there, India will have no problem. The run rate is under control and India will have to just play out the overs to win.
The partnership between Dhoni and Kohli is what clinched it for India.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 22, 2016, 05:58:01 PM
It has been seen over and over again that 4th innings was never easy for any team to chase and win the test match. England just managed to escape from this defeat which was clearly visible today. Don't to who give credit to English batsmen for playing good or discredit to Bangladeshi bowlers for loose bowling by taking that crucial period of the match easily and relaxed.
Bangladesh lost one session while batting and one session while bowling those two lost session will determine the fate of Bangladesh,it is really hard for Bangladesh to win from this situation unless and until top order fires .

A target chase of over 300 by Bangladesh in the fourth innings is not probable.
England are almost there, with the lead totalling 273 now.
If the last 2 wickets scrape together some additional runs, it will be good.
698  Economy / Economics / Re: what your plan for future ? and how to manage your time ? on: October 22, 2016, 12:51:33 PM
hello Im sure every one have "plan" for future
and please share what do you do to manage your time? to get your dream ?

i have dream to have 100BTC at 5year, but it's very hard to realize it

~Elyas772~

My dream is real world is to be a software engineer which i'm working on i mean studying on, and in bitcoin world my dream is to have a really large number of bitcoins for which i'm accumulating my capital to start trading for that purpose.

If you are still studying, you are pretty young. This is the time when you have a lot of free time, which you can invest in anything you like.
Once you start working, you will be busy just firefighting fat the office.
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last correction before 700+ breakout on: October 22, 2016, 12:48:55 PM
Price this year been quite fluctuating due to bitfinex hack lossing thousands of bitcoin however it is nice to see price is moving towards before hack time price already and if $700 is crossed in next pump we will be again before bitfinex hack price range.  Grin $700 is comming...

Don't worry, Bitfinex is gently asking the supposed hacker to return the bitcoins. /s

If they do get 'returned' we can be sure it actually is an inside job.

Bitfinex is being investigated by multiple agencies. Their strategy of giving tokens has not worked.
They have to return the bitcoins stolen, or be hauled up by the authorities.
700  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 22, 2016, 12:46:48 PM
Bitcoin is already an international currency and it is being used by millions of people but without exchaning it we can't use everywhere.
But we can't expect a country to adopt bitcoin as their local currency because the infrastructure of bitcoin and the government can adopt it well.

What we need are more payment processors who accept bitcoin debit cards. More than cash, most transactions are made using credit cards these days. That is what can drive adoption
