Here in Detroit, we call it crack-headery. Just noticed the sells on mintpal. So, there go the dumps you expected. I definitely still cannot justify them, but I guess they have their reasons. A better opportunity perhaps. No clue.

Open task manager and kill the process. Then backup your wallet.dat and syscoin.conf and peers.dat Nuke everything else in that location. Start the wallet again and let it sync. My wallet won't reopen, either (I'm running it on Mac OSX): I downloaded the new version this morning and it was all synced fine, but won't restart after being closed.
Any advice anyone?
i have same issue but on windows. anybody has windows working? Devs, Don't do subsidies yet. It will set a bad precedent. Let the weak hands wimp out. Then, if need be, put some support coins on it to put it back in shape when the weanies are gone. so the devs now have ther ipo funds released to them ?

Keep in mind that many people couldn't get coins into the exchanges. The coins that were available changed hands as would be expected. Then nobody could get their coins out. Miners couldn't mine. So yeah, the price wasn't really going to change much after the first couple of hours when everyone did their thing - and no new thing or new people to do or do it with... Guys, where's the epic dump that was supposed to happen as soon as Mintpal opened the wallets back up?? I'm sitting here with BTC in hand ready to grab some more sweet sweet SYS at 400 sat, and word on the street is an epic dump is supposed to happen. Are the devs actually incredibly skilled and transparent?? Is Syscoin actually an innovative coin destined to change the altcoin landscape forever?? Is all this forking nonsense actually behind us and people will simply forget when they see the price going to the moon due to Syscoin's amazing featureset?? I am so confused...  Haha! I enjoyed your post. Seriously, yesterday, someone could think of 1 reason or two why people could dump. But, today, with the price being at the same level during the last 24hrs and the devs maintaining their position after all those problems and after all the nasty posts against them, someone has to be really creative to find some good reasoning for a dump. |

Well, it looks like you all and the pool operators are holding up as well as can be expected. Eventually, the flakes will drift off and bother some other coin. Short attention spans, I hope. Aye, lot of attacks and DDOS atm. Kinda sad to see, we are not in the "happy days" of crypto anymore (been a while tbh). But guess that is just the way things are..

I am currently mining at a couple of different pools. What I am seeing does not look like a fork at all. It looks like some attempts to DDoS and other skullduggery. From the miner's perspective. I can only see what my software logs, though. So, maybe we could focus on the actual product instead of whining about forks? Well, isn't it the actual product that keeps forking? I've been trying to mine some sys since the launch and I haven't mined up much. No, no forks, this was fixed.. We are seeing big attacks on pools and the blockchain though.. As I said before somebody out there does not like what we are doing. We will be hardening and fixing. |

That's not the wallet. It's specific to Bittrex -> C-Cex. I've bounced coins all over the place, several times each. All go fine. First trex to cex went in under 10 minutes, but the next one was dead-dog slow. I would be embarrased if I was syscoin devs - it just took 30 minutes to transfer a small amount of syscoin from Bittrex to C-cex - bitcoin actually transfers quicker

You have corrected some of the details which weren't entirely clear to me. My UNDERSTANDING has changed. The wallet delay portion of what I have been saying is entirely true as stated. My support ticket shows it. Have a look. Pull some strings to get access to the support site and see it right on the server. That doesn't explain their communications at various times, throughout these past many hours. For PR reasons, I suppose. MintPal is the home exchange that's backing this - from my understanding. So, it makes sense that they don't want the price of their baby to decline steeply on there. Let the other places look bad, then open up the wallets when the price levels off. Dunno. They have the wallet in place, they simply won't enable deposits or withdrawals. I got that directly from support at MintPal. I'm happy to show the email chain to anyone that wants to see it. I suspect they want all the dumping to happen at trex or ANYPLACE else. After that, I bet it will be enabled. when will mintpal reopen the deposit? No need to disable the internet. Just kill the process, nuke the folder except the wallet.dat file, and re-run the wallet. Then, LEAVE IT OPEN instead of shutting it down. Guys, if you relaunch your wallet and the wallet was froze (only icon in the system tray).
Kill the wallet in Task Manager.
Disable Internet connection.
Launch the wallet.
When GUI was loaded - enable your Internet.
It's worked for me. I am using a firewall for it.

When you try to re-run the wallet and it fails, it still stays in systray or task manager. You have to kill the process, then nuke everything except wallet.dat - then update the software and run it ONCE. Each time you close it and try to re-run it, it will fail to open the GUI. Kill the process, nuke all but wallet.dat, run it again. Lather, rinse, repeat - ad nauseum. Hello Syscoin Team,

Did you disable the running process from your task manager? If you close the wallet and try to run it, it does not load the GUI but the core does stay in your system tray or task manager. So, if you reinstall it but the prior process is still running from before, it is going to fail. Hello Syscoin Team,

Sorta yes, sorta no. They won't enable the wallets on their end for sending or receiving SYS. Even though it's working elsewhere. I sent Sys to Mintpal yesterday the transaction never comes is it normal?
