I would be embarrased if I was syscoin devs - it just took 30 minutes to transfer a small amount of syscoin from Bittrex to C-cex - bitcoin actually transfers quicker

So, maybe we could focus on the actual product instead of whining about forks?  Wink

Did you disable the running process from your task manager? If you close the wallet and try to run it, it does not load the GUI but the core does stay in your system tray or task manager. So, if you reinstall it but the prior process is still running from before, it is going to fail.

unfortunately it doesnt work for me anymore, no matter what i try. even reinstall doesnt work. i wait for an update.

That's not the wallet. It's specific to Bittrex -> C-Cex. I've bounced coins all over the place, several times each. All go fine. First trex to cex went in under 10 minutes, but the next one was dead-dog slow.

I would be embarrased if I was syscoin devs - it just took 30 minutes to transfer a small amount of syscoin from Bittrex to C-cex - bitcoin actually transfers quicker

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

This coin is certainly far from perfect, I'm not expecting the price to go down very much from this point. The days of strongest negative sentiment are behind it.

That said, I'm enjoying watching sellers undercut each other by 1 sat to eke out tiny profits.

When that stops, you'll know it's time.

Well as it has been stated quite a few times.. Its not a copy/paste coin and there has been a lot of code added.
We will get there...

My wallet won't reopen, either (I'm running it on Mac OSX): I downloaded the new version this morning and it was all synced fine, but won't restart after being closed.

Any advice anyone?

Nice to see things getting on track. Soon people will start to focus on the features that make this coin unique and then everyone will be happy. Smiley

You have to delete everything from the Sysycoin folder under Application Support except the wallet.dat, then the wallet will open again, one time. You have to do that every time you close the wallet and resync the entire block chain. Apparently this is not a problem though and people aren't considering it broken.  Roll Eyes

Read back a few pages. Already been covered a bunch of times. Somewhere around page 282 I think. Or view my profile and check my previous posts. Too much to retype.

edit - here, check this --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=587080.msg8429313#msg8429313

Guys, where's the epic dump that was supposed to happen as soon as Mintpal opened the wallets back up?? I'm sitting here with BTC in hand ready to grab some more sweet sweet SYS at 400 sat, and word on the street is an epic dump is supposed to happen. Are the devs actually incredibly skilled and transparent?? Is Syscoin actually an innovative coin destined to change the altcoin landscape forever?? Is all this forking nonsense actually behind us and people will simply forget when they see the price going to the moon due to Syscoin's amazing featureset?? I am so confused... Huh
