681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 214: Cormier vs Jones 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: May 11, 2017, 05:55:08 PM
Daniel Cormier is an insecure spoiled kid. In the Joe Rogan interview he pretty much admitted that the partied and did a lot of drugs just in case he lost then he would have an excuse to say.

He deserves a good beating. Unfortunately he is too good. If Daniel Cormier had his reach then he would ave better chances, but he is the underdog.

Anyway, looking forward to this. If DC fucks up again, his career is over, and so is UFC's reputation.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: POSW is going to get pumped to $5+ by a whale group on: May 11, 2017, 02:57:34 PM
Ok so when is the big ass pump?

What's the lottery number to win 100 million?

We all want to know when will things happen, but we can't. We can guess what will happen, not when.

So you don't lose anything by buying 0.1 BTC which may end up being as 1 BTC, or more if you want more risk/reward. Just hold it and we'll see.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC retracing back to support line? on: May 11, 2017, 02:30:57 PM
The retracement happened down to 0.0150

Unfortunately, my buy order was set at 0.0147... so I woke up with an unfilled order. Right now we are sailing around 0.017... let's see if it holds, there's still some space to re-test the support line so maybe we can buy again soon at around 0.0150, hopefully not lower or I may start thinking we are going down to 0.012 or something.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / LTC retracing back to support line? on: May 11, 2017, 12:41:39 AM
Looks like segwit activation news are lossing gas already, so we may test support line which according my technical analysis falls anywhere down to 0.013 - 0.016 depending on how aggressive you want to be.

If it stays above there, it's good news, but if it falls below there, I hope we don't re-test 0.010 again.

Let's see how the following hours develop, maybe we can pick up some cheaper LTC.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 212: Aldo vs Holloway Info and Prediction Thread on: May 10, 2017, 11:39:33 PM
I read the news as well about Anderson Silva announcing his self pull out from UFC 212. Anderson Silva may have carved a good history with UFC but his fight antics has turned off a lot his fans just like what happened on his fight with Chris Weidman. he mocked and played too much and got caught and now he wants respect. I know that's part of his fight plan but I find it disrespectful to the other fighter.

Anderson Silva is still on time to retire and live a good life with still a legendary legacy. If he continues like this he is going to start damaging his legacy.

It's like Mirko Crocop, he should have retired years ago. He lost a lot of times in the UFC, even tho lately he won some good fights in Japan, but that's not UFC.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klitschko vs Josua Info and predictions on: May 10, 2017, 06:23:20 PM
Looks like Anthony Joshua could happen.

If Klitschko doesn't take advantage of the "rematch clause" in his contract, anyhow.

Right now I'm thinking Canelo will beat GGG.

Still need to watch more of GGG's fights to get a better idea of how good he is.

I have to disagree with you @Hydrogen. I think GGG will beat Canelo. GGG is a true Middleweight and one of the hardest puncher now in boxing. Although his 2 last fight of wasn't impressive as compare to his other fights, still GGG is too powerful for Canelo. I think the fight between the 2 is already scheduled for Sept this year and Canelo will be just resting a few weeks then continue his training. I don't know if this is a good move for him but for me GGG is more tougher opponent than Julio Cezar Chavez. I'm so excited and I can't wait to see this fight!!!

I also think GGG will beat Canelo Alvarez. Canelo Alvarez is too small for a big guy like triple G. He is a natural 170 LBS guy, he's got a solid chin, he got the reach and height advantage and most importantly, he got the skill to use his physical advantage in his favor.

I think Canelo is going to get KO'd in less than 10 rounds.

I don't know if GGG can KO Canelo Alvarez but I think GGG will win the fight. I agree with you, GGG is too big for Canelo. I think Canelo can go as high as 170 lbs fully re-hydrated during fight night. But GGG will weight more than that for sure. But too much Mexican pride here, he will not back out of this fight even though we all know that he will lose.

I don't think Floyd Mayweather could win GGG, he is just too big for those guys, and too skilled too, even tho Floyd Mayweather is the most skilled boxer alive, size matters when the opponent is also highly skilled, so maybe he would not be able to stop it.

If Floyd schooled Canelo, then Canelo will get schooled badly by GGG I think.

But if Canelo somehow wins, then people will want to see GGG vs Floyd.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC PRICE prediction on: May 10, 2017, 05:44:19 PM
Looks like people has finally sold the news. It had a dump, then a pump pre segwit only 3 hours remaining, and after we got that 0.02 peak, it's going down again, now the question is, how low will it go to enter the market with a long term position?Huh
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC round 4 (in memories of iamnotback) on: May 10, 2017, 12:49:57 PM
Well there is the fucking pump, 0.022 was hit. The problem is, there's still 3 hours to go in the countdown. Are we witnessing the pump that precedes the "sell the news dump" with people shorting all the way down?

Or will it go even higher as the news get hit?

I don't think there's a way to know the outcome so good luck.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC round 4 (in memories of iamnotback) on: May 09, 2017, 07:03:01 PM
Somebody sold a fuckton of LTC and it dipped down to 0.0159... it got quickly bought back to 0.0175. Now im just expecting it to stay around this area until the segwit day arrives. My fear is that those fuckers sell the news instead of seeing a pump.
I need to toss a coin to decide if I should sell before segwit activates or not.
When can we expect them to activate segwit. Most of the alt coin markets are in red which is not a good sign if you are an investor and i would stay away from everything as i have converted everything to bitcoin because the price is still rising .There are big opportunities to enter these coins but i am still confused whether it is a good time to invest  .

Segwit is activating TOMORROW:

http://litecoinblockhalf.com/segwit.php

22 hours to go. We saw a big dump that followed that polo crash one. Whales and panic sellers alike I guess, crushed the price back to almost pre-bubble levels. I fucking knew it but I didn't want to miss out just in case it would keep going up. Now you can buy cheap LTC because I suspect this is the classic "shakedown before the news" event, so there will be a pump with the segwit activation news pretty much guaranteed because I doubt a double dump will follow.

It CAN happen tho, this is crypto, and BTC is skyrocketing into mars and this affects all alts. All alts are red right now. But I think overall tomorrow can be a good Litecoin day and 0.012 dip was the perfect moment to pick another bunch. We'll see.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin activate segwit as litecoin price peaks at 30USD? on: May 09, 2017, 03:21:12 PM

It will be a problem for little while.

Bitcoin miners aren't stupid, even Bitmain will realize that huge price increase will help them much more than exploiting ASICBoost or AntBleed of whatever they have hidden within their ASICS.
We have first sign of Chinese mining pools interested in switching sides - ViaBTC recently hold a poll on their twitter. They asked what community think of SegWit activation. SegWit received 83% votes.

Here is why I think otherwise:

Jihad Wu and Roger Ver have an army of brainwashed people in /r/btc that will follow anything they say.

If they finally give up and accept segwit, their entire community will collapse within itself and they will be no longer seen as "saviors of bitcoin" by those idiots.

Having a bunch of people aligned within your agenda is a very useful power. They know that they will lose this, if they give up and adopt segwit. So they have something to lose.

Sure they will gain acceptance by the rest but they will always be seen as people you can't trust by everyone else outside of the /r/btc community.

And while all of these game theories interact and create drama, LTC has all the technology needed to deal with mainstream adoption.

It is then reasonable to buy and hold LTC for the time being.

692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buggy Unlimited crashes, AGAIN!! Price rallies. on: May 09, 2017, 12:48:19 PM
All this money (billions) could be on segwit if we weren't on this stalemate situation.

atleast you are admitting subtly segwit is an altcoin instead of your old rhetoric that segwit is bitcoin and anything else running on bitcoin is the altcoin. one step in the right direction.

as for the social drama of bu vs core.
funnily core has a speak no evil about their own bugs for 30 days after fix is released, but REKT anything not core as soon as issue is found.
very professional and independent (sarcasm)

read all the core devs saying how release info on exploits within 30 days of fix is bad.
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/10364

kinda hypocritical

It's funny how you always find a way to ignore reality and assemble your arguments in a way that makes you think you are correct. "Oh he said segwit instead of BTC, lol he admited it's an alt!!"

It's time to adjust reality with facts: Coin adopting Segwit = price up. BUcoin crashing = price up.

Chavez Jr got rocked as expected by most people, he was the underdog. Canelo Alvarez is too good nowadays, he was going to outbox him for sure.

Now the next fight is clear. Canelo vs triple G. Pacman would be good too, but everyone wants to see the triple G fight.

I would like to see Floyd vs triple G in case GGG wins but that is never going to happen.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: May 08, 2017, 03:28:39 PM
If a person does not have the realization that he has lost a lot and lost everything. Then the saturation point that makes a gambler decide to go from gambling, because every thing must meet the saturation point.

That's why everyone will say don't addict to gambling, once you addict to it there won't be any limits for losing. You need to control yourself while gambling otherwise you will end up with no money. Then it is time to give up gambling.

Some people can never beat the gambling addiction because they have strong genetics to prone to end up as heavy addicts with absolute no self control at all. Those people need to be put into professional help and possibly use medication.

Once the medication makes effect, you can start removing it slowly. But real addicts can never ever gamble again, they aren't capable of gambling for fun sporadically.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / The ONLY reason Litecoin dipped on: May 08, 2017, 02:45:35 PM
Was the strange DDOS attack of last night in Poloniex. We say something really strange last night, anyone that was trading Poloniex this. Some coin I know nothing about and I assume some shitcoin, Stellar Lumens, went up 150%, then the entire site went down, and it crashed.

Everyone panic sold their coins. We saw LTC hit 0.0169, it quickly recovered to 0.0185, now it's at 0.0177

There are no fundamental reasons for LTC to dip, this has happened due the Poloniex DDOS.

Once idiots realize this fact, they will FOMO back to LTC and we'll sit at 0.02

ETH also got panic sold hard.

Literally NOTHING is justifying this dip other than the inertia of the panic selling caused by a god damn DDOS on Poloniex.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LTC as the gateway coin for fast and cheap BTC transactions? on: May 08, 2017, 01:52:46 PM
Litecoin will be huge, everyone with a brain knows that. Bitcoin is not getting segwit, anyone that still thinks bitcoin is getting segwit is just delusional (or at least anytime soon). So pick your litecoins and enjoy the ride. There will be ups and downs because of profit taking bagholders tho, but I think the current dip was just due Poloniex fucking up and shaking weak hands. If it wasn't for that we would still be at 0.02+ so pick some before its too late.

Anyway, atomic cross chain transactions are a great thing for BTC, so both LTC and BTC will benefit.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any place to gamble IF the Mayweather vs McGregor fight will happen? on: May 07, 2017, 06:16:15 PM
Latest Updates on Mayweather vs Mcgregor:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QPGT5YF7Pg

Dana interview: "im trying my hardest"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN6xCgaEB5c

Dana interview "Mayweather is waiting on me"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzkL3JO4jBg

Mayweather interview: "patiently waiting."

I see some progress, Dana used to say it's impossible, now he says he is trying and wants to do it. Fight is pretty much confirmed in my book for 2018, so remember this thread, whoever said it will not happen is wrong (unless something ridiculous happens like an injury)
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 211: Miocic vs Dos Santos info and Prediction Thread on: May 07, 2017, 05:34:49 PM
One thing is clear, Stipe Miocic is going to have hte better odds for sure, so if you want to make big money you must trust that Dos Santos delivers a great night and manages to knock out or submit homi. I remember when he got beaten by the Skycraper but he was so shit back then, look at this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9cDFQY1uBo

Damn, that dude is just huge. But he was really bad, I think Stipe would have no problems winning against him again nowadays. But if guys that big get good and skilled, they are unstoppable.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: POSW website problem on: May 07, 2017, 03:26:42 PM
Hi,

Anyone having problems with POSW website? Website not loading up.

https://poswallet.com/POSW/

I have seen this in the past. This shows up when they are making updates to the site so they need to temporarily turn it off. It's reasonable to be afraid about exit scam everytime you see this on a crypto website but it's simply too early to risk about any exit scams, just wait and it will be back up. This coin will eventually pump so it's good to baghold some.
