681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cpu mining with office laptop - facts on: February 14, 2017, 02:53:58 PM
I was actually quite surprised how profitable it is for a botnet operator, if you are running a network of thousands of infected laptops even $0.05/ day gives you pretty nice daily cashflow.

But sure, not worth to start mining with your own laptop.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profit coins today on: February 14, 2017, 02:45:51 AM
Overclocked gtx970 from 2014 does more than 300.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Cpu mining with office laptop - facts on: February 14, 2017, 12:44:21 AM
So many people asking this so I went and tried some well known botnet algos with x220 i7 2620m 8gb, 'rig' idles at 11W.

XZC 4 threads 93000h/s 44W at the wall, ? revenue
XMR 1 thread 77h/s 27W at the wall, $0.11/ day revenue
FTC 2 threads 9.7Kh/s 44W at the wall, $0.01/ day revenue

If you have better algos/ miners feel free to post them here.

PS. I am burning my own hardware.

edit: after reboot XMR 2 threads 107h/s 35W at the wall.

684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 13, 2017, 08:36:26 PM
390 1100/1500 400-420 sol/s cm&opti

900h/s on xmr with sgminer + much lower power consumption
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: February 12, 2017, 11:39:09 PM
Every day 576 blocks x (10+2.5)=7200 new ZEC are mined. Faster miners or good/ bad news don't change that fact. That is pure maths.

Now look at buyside, there are only 170 btc/ 8000 zec worth of bids and 22000 zec on the sellside. That is like house of cards if you ask me. If someone starts dumping and the panic starts, in 15 minutes there is nothing left where to dump. I am not saying that is going to happen but what if?

686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: February 05, 2017, 01:50:34 AM
All this dcr talk...

Need to rewind back to february/ march 2016. Gtx 980 could only do 24Mhash on eth so it was more profitable to mine dcr with it, they did 2.2GH with sp_mod, that was $5/ day back then.

Now people are building 1080 rigs with i7's. Really effective way to loose money. But that black box shows some really nice numbers.

How much does 1070/ 1080 on bbr?

Hate to say this but 390 can do that.

688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Review: Custom ROM from Eliovp - RX480 Nitro+ 8GB (Samsung Memory) XMR ~850h/s on: February 04, 2017, 12:03:39 AM
This rx480 doing 900h/s, wattage?

They keep sending me those after 390 failed fans. Should I open those boxes? Or just sell them?
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: February 02, 2017, 12:26:48 AM
There is always bigger farm + better coder somewhere.

true ... and we have ...

You didn't get it, there is ALWAYS bigger farm + better coder somewhere.

There is always bigger farm + better coder somewhere.

Some of you need to start your own thread.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BURST vs STORJ on: February 01, 2017, 12:06:45 AM
1TB has been paying 34-38 SJCX/ month for the last three months. Not much but pays electricity for that tiny file server which is always on anyways.

Latest SJCX payout formula:

We need more solominers or a working stratum implementation.. Smiley . 3 hours without a single solo block.

Epsylon? Can you do it, and add pascalcoin to yiimp.

240 000 pascal coins are mined every day. ($180 000). If nanopool has 90% of the nethash, they earn $3240 everyday with the 2% fee.

Nanopool (AMD only) has most of the hashrate

sp_, is that fuck_nano_pool you?  Grin
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 28, 2017, 06:36:34 PM
When pool hashrate is much higher than network, it may be due to a high number of orphans, so be careful when you do your own math.

That could be the case here, only 25% of shares my hawaii's send to pool are valid.

I modified the pascal cuda miner and optimized it, now it's doing 900 Mh/s on a 1070 consuming just 100W.
Is it good? Worth working on it, now that there are pools?

If zec looses 80% of its current value there are many miners looking for a new coin to mine. Pasc would help nvidia owners a lot, amd cards are currently on 400-600MH range so 900MH would be huge advantage. Definitely worth working.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 28, 2017, 03:33:31 AM
My wallet shows 5.6GH right now (positive), block explorer 4.7GH (again positive) and nanopool 3.9GH (Yup, positive). Scotchtape just like bensam said...
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 27, 2017, 11:11:10 PM
Nanopool is running, no cuda support yet...
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 26, 2017, 11:37:09 PM
Lbry, nice efficiency on nvidia and profit @ the level of zcash nowadays. Hope to see some news for the lbry miner, sp_ anything ?  Grin

lbc is mid 2016, zec late 2016, cudaminers need something computeheavy early 2017. Don't hold your breath waiting huge boost on lbc.

697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 26, 2017, 11:11:32 PM
Does anyone know how to get more than (1) gpu per rig to work on Pascalcoin?  I have tried all options and can get no luck.

More than one? First tell us how you got that first one sending 'nonces' that were accepted on wallet?
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 26, 2017, 07:46:41 PM
On the nvidia cuda miner i get just Proof of work is higher than target payload can't find out why or what it means
Nothing I tried fixed it..:-(

I can confirm, every nonce 970 finds gives this 'proof of work is higher than target payload' error. Reported hashrate is 520MH/ gtx 970 but I have a feeling they are hashing air.

Looks like zec is about to take nosedive so another nvidia-coin would be very welcome.

edit: about pasc wallet, I had 4 connections after 20 hours, all servers. After port forward + reboot it now shows 59 clients and 3 servers.
edit2: if server count drops below 3 node status changes from running to discovering servers.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 25, 2017, 05:15:20 PM
Amph, so right now 700MH earns you 15 pasc = 0.004btc = $3.50 per day? Too lazy to run through numbers myself.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is mining completely dead to noobs on: January 23, 2017, 01:31:21 PM
With nvidia I would add LBC to adaseb's list.
