681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any system or app to solve cryptocurrency hacks? on: September 07, 2018, 11:37:16 AM
if there is an actual "cryptocurrency hack" then there is nothing you can do to solve it. the project is broken and will be dead. as it has happened a couple of times in the past with some altcoins that died because they were flawed.

but if you are talking about the "hacks" such as exchange hacks, you getting your hot wallet hacked,... then it is the person's fault not the system and you can't solve that issue with an application!
for example when people keep their bitcoins in a hot wallet on their desktop without any passwords and they download viruses, an "app" can not fix it! they should have thought ahead and used cold storage in first place.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a new form of manipulation? on: September 07, 2018, 11:28:54 AM
Cryptocurrency is largely unpredictable. The price fluctuations are also mostly unexpected.
When thinking like a whale, you would have to decipher the reason behind their actions, this would give you an idea, whether to Hodl, sell or buy.

that is because you are talking about altcoins (cryptocurrencies). they are indeed unpredictable and the reason is because there is no logic in pump and dumps so you can not use that logic to predict it. it all comes down to guesswork and knowing how pumps work for altcoins.
holding an altcoin is silly though because of the dumping part of the pump and dump which you can clearly see these days as altcoins continue falling.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rolls Royce is accepting bitcoins on: September 07, 2018, 11:23:53 AM
first of all you should always provide the link to news like this when you report it since you have already read it somewhere yourself! secondly one dealership accepting bitcoin is not the same as the company accepting bitcoin! so you can't use that title , it is wrong.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Fav Coin Till End Of December? on: September 04, 2018, 08:02:52 AM
unfortunately at times like this only bitcoin is a good option to consider and has the least risk. of course there are coins like AU that get 6000% pumps in one day which can also be good for that day but the risk is still higher.

the reason why i say bitcoin is not just because i am a BitcoinHodler but it is because right now bitcoin can go in either direction and each direction can end up with altcoins getting dumped. a big rise or a big fall in bitcoin price can do the same!
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin SV on: September 04, 2018, 07:46:55 AM
So it's true that they're pushing through this and they think there will be people who will buy this? Yeah maybe there are some, and they're obviously morons.

it doesn't work that way and it is not always all morons who buy these shitcoins. it is all the traders and that's how the market has always worked.
these people have a lot of money and with it they can use all that money to pump their creation. imagine as a trader you see a shitcoin shooting up and you see the opportunity to make a huge amount of profit in a very short time.... nobody in this market hesitates to take that opportunity.

that is how all the top 10 altcoins went up and got big pumps. the only difference between a #1 altcoin and #1000 altcoin is that the #1 had more money to pump and had more experienced pumpers behind it than the #1000 altcoin otherwise there are at least 20 coins exactly similar and even better than #1 that could have been there!
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: September 04, 2018, 07:35:01 AM
nobody has ever believed in the future of a "token" which is why ICOs have never been actually successful. they raise a lot of money initially and sometimes give a huge amount of profit because people have been gambling with them for a while now. specially last year during the pumping season a lot of them invested in ICOs as a form of making a bet to try out their luck.

obviously something like that can not go on forever, it will fail at some point. and that is one of the reasons for the initial dump and the price drop that OP has mentioned. the gamblers want to take their money out as fast as possible and make a new bet.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum futures, good or bad news? on: September 04, 2018, 07:21:06 AM
neither, it is fake news Cheesy

there has never been any ETH ETF and there never will be. SEC is rejecting all bitcoin ETF's on the grounds that it may be manipulated. and that is bitcoin we are talking about the only solid coin that exists.
SEC will not even consider a centralized coin's ETF while it is 100% manipulated and it is known by everyone!
688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you monitor live chart?? on: September 04, 2018, 07:12:08 AM
nobody seems to be pointing this out that you don't "monitor" charts, you monitor the "price" and "analyze" the charts.

for monitoring price you just need to set some automatic orders such as stop loss or some alerts or something like that. for analyzing  charts the exchange charts would suffice unless you are on some shitty exchange with horrible charts.

those who say coinmarketcap do not know the meaning of "live" or have never traded in their lives.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Artificial intelligence and blockchain be used together? on: September 04, 2018, 07:04:03 AM
i would love to see how that would work but so far i have been disappointed on every turn! we have already seen at least 50 different projects (mostly ICO shitcoins) claim they are doing something with "Artificial Intelligence" but in reality when i checked each of their projects i saw that there is no difference between them and any other shitcoin out there. they just used some keyword to hype things up!
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investors have increased or decreased due to red market? on: September 03, 2018, 12:23:41 PM
whenever there is pumping season going on there are lots of newbies who are running in to get involved in the market so the number of investors increases with mostly newbies and what we call bag holders.

then when the dumping season begins at first nothing changes but as the prices go down slowly and these bag holders continue losing money and seeing red they eventually give up and leave so the number of investors decreases until the market is cleaned from all of them and prices reach their bottoms.

you can see that in declining volumes as the dumps progress. also the failing ICOs is another good way of seeing how newbies are now getting out. because the only way an ICO can succeed is if there are newbie gamblers in the market willing to risk their money.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia wants to criminalize certain crypto activites on: September 03, 2018, 12:04:51 PM
just another click bait article written by some new website calling itself "news site". there is not much to it, apart from some text for them to put up and then advertise on bitcointalk to get readers and earn money from the traffic.

Russia like any other country has laws, these laws prevent criminal activities whether you use fiat, bitcoin, chickens, or anything else as your medium of exchange. they aren't criminalizing anything and the article has no proof of the things it says.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POW and POS, which is better? on: September 03, 2018, 11:51:51 AM
Proof of of stake is better than proof of work.  The proof of stake use less energy and less energy is good for the envinroment!  Proof of stake will ensure that a lots of people become a node and many masternode will emerge and thus decentralisation of cryptocurrency is achieved!

masternodes are the exact definition of centralization! it is basically a "bank" that is processing transactions and in some of the master node coins you can't even run one without spending and risking a huge amount of money.

as for PoS, it has the worst way of distributing coins. basically anyone with money receives new coins. and it means there will be a lot of rich guys who are receiving a lot of free money which they don't hesitate to dump. that is why POS coins are declining.
in POW at least the miner does some actual work and gets paid for that work and then if they sell they are selling to cover their  costs and pay their bills and also take profit not just receiving free money to dump.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: September 03, 2018, 11:41:01 AM
based on last years, the best chance that we had for seeing a big pumping season was the summer time where the schools are off and the kids have more free time to come get scammed and that didn't happen and the summer is almost over.
right now the sentiment is still the same as previous months, the forums is filled with people talking about how it is a good time to buy and how rise is around the corner (like the past 8 months of dumping Cheesy) and the market is still going  down.

here is the exact same topic as this one from 2 months ago saying the exact same thing Cheesy
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4587948.0

those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»

only bitcoin has been rising significantly in the long term ever since 2015 (not 2013-14) the rest of the altcoins have been dumping and only had a big pump last year in 2017 which they are still in its after pump bubble situation.
694  Economy / Speculation / Re: The value of Bitcoin is rising again? on: September 03, 2018, 11:30:29 AM
I heard the good news that bitcoin will rise again up to the end of this year.

Well, it always happen. Near to December months is usually the time when the prices of these crypto currencies increases. I do hope that these months will be a great month to Bitcoin since we are all waiting for this time to happen for a long time now. The price of Bitcoin did not do so good this past months not exceeding it's price to 5 digits since it dumped to $6K.

that is a wrong way of thinking about this market. there are no such trends in the market apart from the overall one which is a long term rise for bitcoin and a long term drop for altcoins year after year.
the short term changes a lot and just be cause it happened once or twice it doesn't mean it is a trend now.
695  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Problem from withdrawing from YoBit on: September 03, 2018, 11:22:03 AM
in my experience if a wallet on Yobit is in maintenance and the coin is not one of the 2 or 3 bigger coins then it means that it is in maintenance indefinitely. and most probably they don't even run the code for that particular coin for you to be able to ever deposit or withdraw any coin.

your only option is to sell for any of the big coins (bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum,...) and cash out those. don't waste your time by waiting the chance of things changing is minimal.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 03, 2018, 11:19:16 AM
if you really have to ask then you should not invest. because people on this forum is not your personal financial advisor and even if they have experience you probably won't be able to use it.

I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,
how is $10 too high for you? you can buy $10 worth of bitcoin. nobody put a gun to your head forcing you to invest $100000 in bitcoin!

Quote
what do you think will be the next BTC
there are none. the altcoins are pure shitcoins so far.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Discuss a bit about altcoin on: September 02, 2018, 01:06:08 PM
at times like this that is a normal thing to see in the market. i wouldn't really call it "fly" yet because there really ins't that much of a rise going on in the market but it is a normal recovery that we can see happening during each downtrend.
these are more like corrections when the price drops a lot, it needs to recover a little and come back up before it continues to go down again.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto needs marketing or an advertisement? on: September 02, 2018, 12:47:49 PM
well the problem is that there is no "product" to advertise. none of the ICOs have any product, they aren't doing anything to have a product. they are tokens that were created and ended then and there when they received the funds they raised.
and as for usability of the crytpocurrencies i have to say when people can not use them as actual currencies (at least it is true about 90% of them) there is nothing you can advertise or market to make people want to come and use them.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: September 02, 2018, 12:38:36 PM
you would be naive to chose one altcoin instead of another. while not pumped, every single altcoin has an equal chance of getting a hard pump to give you a good short term profit. sometimes some coins like the ones with a lower price has a much higher chance of a decent pump but we are talking about a decent pump not which can have the biggest pump. they will both lose at that.

in any case both coins are viable options for investment only when they are getting pumped. if we start analyzing them, both are terrible coins with no good future in long run specially because of their centralization but XRP has a lower price so it can have higher pumps as the history also approves.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TRON trying to take advantage of Venezuela's situation? on: September 02, 2018, 12:22:08 PM
in the altcoin market they usually try anything they can think of which may help with their publicity and hype their token up so that they can have a more successful short term pump.
of course not all the ideas are good and sometimes they mess up and make things even worse for themselves by making a wrong advertisement.
