681  Economy / Economics / Re: The United States is in Worse Shape Financially Than Russia on: November 02, 2016, 04:11:36 PM
The only saving grace for the USA is that its  external debt is denominated in dollars, which it can print. This is not the case for other countries. As long as they are able to refinance their debt, the cycle continues.

Definitely, if this power is EVER took away from them, then there will be a currency collapse of epic proportions.
682  Other / Politics & Society / Hillary is Finished, This Exploding Google Trend Proves It - "Change Early Vote" on: November 02, 2016, 12:54:53 PM

Well, no matter which way you spin this, this is not good news for Hillary Clinton. We all know that she has had by far the worst week in her life, and yes, I believe in her mind, this past week even dwarfs the scandals she faced in the 90's.

The corruption that has bubbled up to the surface can no longer be denied, not even by the Main Stream Media, which has up until this point been in the tank for Hillary. We are witnessing a full blown retreat of Democrats in the last stretch of this election cycle, as key supporters state that they can no longer vote for her.

The FBI's renewed investigation into her email case has slapped her supporters in the face, and all but the most die hard, blinded liberals cannot stomach the thought of voting for a candidate, that is very likely to be under criminal investigation for much of her first year in office.

Not only will she be under active investigation for her first year, but there is a high probability that she will be found guilty of one crime or another. To deny this will only prove that you have your head buried in the sand and are living in an alternate delusional reality.

Let me state this one more time. The FBI WOULD NOT reopen this investigation into Hillary Clinton unless they had sufficient evidence that there was SERIOUS wrong doing on her part. They would not put their reputation, nor risk the election in such a rash or foolish way....

683  Economy / Economics / The United States is in Worse Shape Financially Than Russia on: November 02, 2016, 12:52:35 PM

Boston University Economics Professor Laurence Kotlikoff says, “So, if you put everything on the books, we’re broke, and we’ve been printing money out the wazoo since 2007 to pay Congress’s bills. That’s the truth about quantitative easing.

We need to have somebody who knows what’s going on in the big picture here and has a game plan to get rid of this fiscal gap, and do it without total chaos. If we leave things the way they are, people will view the country as leaderless fundamentally and printing money to pay its bills.

Then, the expectation will occur, and that’s going to raise rates, and that’s going to drop bond prices, and that will sink the banks, and, yes, you can have another great recession like Bill Gross is referencing (bond super nova).

I’ve been saying this for decades. The time for the last straw to drop on the camel’s back, and when it’s going to drop that camel is hard to say.

If you look at the fundamentals, and the fundamentals look like that of an emerging country, we are the most indebted developed country relative to GDP of any country around.

We are in worse shape, I believe, than Russia or Greece, and far worse shape than Italy.”

685  Other / Politics & Society / Max Hyprocrisy - Bill Clinton Bashes Obamacare As Craziest Thing In The World on: October 07, 2016, 12:46:45 PM

In a staggering moment of honesty caught on tape, former President Bill Clinton admits to a group of voters in Michigan that Obamacare is a complete disaster and is wreaking havoc on the middle-class and "small-business people." Per the video published by the NY Post, Clinton says that Obamacare is fine for those who are eligible for subsidies, but admits that that hard-working "people who are out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half and it’s the craziest thing in the world."

“You’ve got this crazy system where all of a sudden 25 million more people have health care, and then the people who are out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half and it’s the craziest thing in the world.

On the other hand, the current system works fine if you’re eligible for Medicaid, if you’re a lower-income working person. If you’re already on Medicare or if you get enough subsidies on a modest income that you can afford your health care.

But the people getting killed in this deal are the small-business people and individuals who make just a little bit too much to get any of these subsidies."

686  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Both Democrats & Republicans Agree - The VP Debate Was a KaineWreck! on: October 07, 2016, 12:38:25 PM
Why does Pence continue with those lies? The American people know  If they do their research, they will know Trump/Pence are liars who care only about themselves.

Why do Clintons continue with those lies? The American people know  If they do their research, they will know Clintons are liars who care only about themselves.

there, I've fixed it for you.

The Clintons have made careers out of effectively screwing people over. Pay to play is not a conspiracy, thousands of leaked emails show that this is status quo in regards to how they operate. Does this mean other politicians don't do it? Absolutely NOT, but what it does show is that she is not the "change" people are looking for and a complete overhaul of our system is desperately needed.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Mike Maloney & Harry Dent The Great Deflation - Do YOU Agree? on: October 07, 2016, 12:33:49 PM
Really hard to tell. It seems we are about to get some inflation pretty soon.

Agreed, the world is so messed up, it is really anyones best guess as to what is truly going to unfold. Regardless, we can rest assured that we are in for some rocky times ahead.

I'm confused. You agree with the first confident comment that "we are about to get some inflation" and then say "it is really anyones best guess" - which is it? Are you confident we have inflation ahead of us or do you have no idea?

Not sure where you live but there are several major countries with extremely low intereste rates right now. When those interest rates start to rise you'll see inflation. The start of it will be normal inflation (vs. no inflation now). If it gets above 5% inflation we're getting into high territory. Not the highest it's ever been, but creeping into higher than normal. Just a bit of education for you.

'I think a better question for us to discuss is what would cause the inflation of bitcoin? There are no interest rates that would cause it, so what else could?

He agrees that it is really difficult to know for sure which one we will get. If inflation shows up, the central banks will have to raise interest rates and it will then cause a deflationnary shock.

Bingo.

689  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 03:21:37 PM
I definitely don't see it as being "better", but a good solid companion to gold. They both have benefits and value.

692  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 03:04:02 PM
It could happen that you get rich with BTC, but I think the massive surge that we experienced in the very early days (some of us remember those days), is long gone. There will still be great gains, but I don't think at any pace like we once saw before.
693  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: October 06, 2016, 03:03:05 PM
I honestly really don't think there is much now that you CAN'T buy with BTC. It really has reached just about every market.
694  Other / Politics & Society / NYT's Changes History - OHIO No Longer The Bellwether As Trump Surges on: October 06, 2016, 03:00:28 PM

The New York Times, the so-called “paper of record,” has declared that the all-important swing state of Ohio is no longer an important battleground in the presidential election — now that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is winning it.

Trump pulled ahead of Clinton in the Buckeye State in the RealClearPolitics poll average on Sep. 13, and has never looked back. The latest average, as of Sep. 24 — prior to the first presidential debate on Sep. 26 — has Trump ahead of Clinton by 2%.

Earlier in September, the Times was declaring Ohio “an essential swing state,” where Governor John Kasich threatened to destroy Trump’s presidential hopes by withholding his endorsement and denying Trump his turnout operation. The Times added: “No candidate since 1960 has made it to the White House without winning Ohio. And while Mrs. Clinton could afford to lose there given her advantage in other battlegrounds like Virginia and Colorado, Ohio is a must-win for Mr. Trump.”

Now that Trump is winning the “must-win,” the Times has revised its view of Ohio’s importance: “After decades as one of America’s most reliable political bellwethers, an inevitable presidential battleground that closely mirrored the mood and makeup of the country, Ohio is suddenly fading in importance this year,” writes Jonathan Martin, who notes that Clinton has basically conceded the state...

695  Economy / Economics / Mike Maloney & Harry Dent The Great Deflation - Do YOU Agree? on: October 06, 2016, 02:56:10 PM

NOTE: Do you see inflation or deflation coming? Personally, I believe inflation is the more likely outcome. Regardless, discuss what two legends in the precious metals industry have to say in regards to this topic.

Mike Maloney joins Harry Dent. They discuss inflation and the great deflation. What do they see coming and how best can we prepare for the inevitable collapse that is going to wreck the global economy?

696  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 06, 2016, 02:48:52 PM
The future of paper money is the same as it has been every other time in history. It eventually goes to zero, as has every form of fiat money EVER in history. There is simply too much abuse by politicians.
697  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: October 06, 2016, 02:47:46 PM
If the US dollar collapses, there will undoubtedly be MASS volatility in every asset class. Alternative savings, such as gold and silver will go parabolic and through the roof. BTC will benefit in the long run, although I believe it will take a while to settle out.
698  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Guccifer 2.0 Hacked Clinton Foundation on: October 06, 2016, 02:45:27 PM
I wish it was true, as it would expose much of the corruption she has undoubtedly been involved in. But this looks like it MAY be a diversion. We shall see.
699  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Both Democrats & Republicans Agree - The VP Debate Was a KaineWreck! on: October 06, 2016, 02:43:04 PM

I think it's clear that Pence won easily on style and on 'substance'.  I think (and hope) that Pence's job was almost exclusively to shore up the political right, and if so, he is doing this with competence.  The debate was a good example.

To me, the 'touchstone' about a quality in a politician in 2016 is their stance on TPP.  It tells me in abbreviated form if a candidate is a globalist or a nationalist.  At the very least support of TPP indicates that a candidate is lazy, ignorant, or can be bought-off.  Kaine or basically anyone on the Dem side can be assumed to be a hard-core globalist minion so there are no surprises here.  Pence is at least highly suspect in this however.

I was unsurprised that the moderator failed to bring up the TPP issue.  Anyone who could possibly be chosen from the mainstream media world is certain to be a globalist minion as well, and this is not a discussion that any of them want to be having right now.

In my mind, Trump was the winner for a reason I've not heard anyone express.  Pences' stance on various of the Syria and ISIS problem/solutions, and certain others, differed notably from those of Trump, and I personally find Pences' (and of course Kaines') ideas here abysmal.  This tells me that Trump is not surrounding himself with yes-men or telling his hires that they must adopt his own ideas and this is, in my mind, the mark of a strong leader of the type we need.

I completely agree, you know that Hillary is only negative on TPP now pandering to Bernie supporters. She has called them "Basement Dwellers" and Trump supporters a "Basket of Deplorables". This is a woman that has no love for the American people. She is going to ram TPP down America's throat as soon as she is in office. You can rest assured of that.
700  Economy / Economics / Re: The ECB is Out of Control - All Checks and Balances Have Failed the System on: October 06, 2016, 02:38:56 PM
I completely agree, other strong countries should follow Britains lead and get out of the highly corrupt EU system. The good news is, that a global wave is occurring that is rippling across the globe. This is a MAJOR global movement.
