Is gold better than Bitcoin?

for real life gold is better because lots of people more know about gold than bitcoin
also gold is physical and can used in real life
but bitcoin is better on online world, to payment around the world
i think gold and bitcoin is different so we cant compare them

That is definitely true. But as Bitcoin is up and coming, more and more people are learning about it. This means that in the future, Bitcoin will be the better investment, along with the fact that the price is rising.

No one knows what exactly happens in future because every one of us just predicting in future demand will go up and prices will go up but anything can happen. So it is always to good diversify your money and be a safer side in worse cases. I invested both in bitcoin and as well as in gold.

But whenever I do get doubts about the future of bitcoin, I just go and analysis the past performance of bitcoin price appreciations. That is the reason I'm having more saving with bitcoin but I am also having some gold. But the percentage of my gold and bitcoin saving differs and bitcoin saving is dominating my other types of savings.

Yes gold investment is safer in compare to bitcoins as we are sure that gold will always exist and won't disappear so easily, no doubt profit making process can be longer but that can be managed.

i also hear a lot people say that with bitcoin they can't hold it in their hands as a physical object like they can do with fiat and gold. that's also a reason why the average joe will most likely put more faith into gold than in bitcoin. i don't think this will ever change.

None of either is better than the other but they both serve for different investing purposes gold is stable and bitcoin isn't simple as that.

Im really sure that bitcoin is better than gold because of you are fearful when using it then dont use it because your just scared of loosing money and you want a sure money in gold you cant high the price and 1 time earning only but in bitcoin you can earn per month per day depends on your activities bitcoins too are good in term of investment

Gold and Bitcoin both have promising future and trading them could be profitable in long term run. Personally i trade Bitcoin but trading gold is profitable too in my opinion.

Trading gold is profitable indeed but never as profitable as bitcoin can be though so in a sense of which one if better for profit I'd pick bitcoin.
But there's ton of other stuff that gold excels at better than bitcoin does so..

Asking such a thing I think is not needed since they both got the potential to have a bigger value than it have now in the far future. Even if that's the case, I agree with op that people turn to gold is the answer to all our problems, but in reality it is not the answer to all our problems, since bitcoin has more potential to grow higher but has higher risk too than gold but taking risk is part of investing so Ill rather take risk in bitcoin but I think it ain't better than gold and the latter ain't better than bitcoin.

No I do not think that the gold is better than the bitcoin because with the gold it takes a long time to make some good money.
With the bitcoin you can pay and just hold it for short and long terms and still make profit too.

You cannot make profits with bitcoin in short term as price is stable now and if you want to make profits you need to hold them for a long term but both are good as an long term investment.

You're right about long term investment in gold and bitcoin but I don't agree that bitcoin is better than gold because they're two totally different things with different qualities and benefits so we can't decide which one is better than the other.

Gold is different from Bitcoin in a way. Gold is a physical thing while Bitcoin is a virtual thing. However, like gold, Bitcoin has a limited supply and both of them have a fixed total. Gold is used as a commodity for hundred of years and it does signify wealth and have various other significance. A huge downside of gold is that it won't be accepted in most physical stores and it is a hassle to use it.

isn't investing for the long term bitcoin will be better than gold? bitcoin prices can rise very high in the future and you can get many advantages when it, and this will not happen to the gold.

Bitcoin is more useful if we compare them gold is just like a things that you can hold if your things can be antique https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antique because its a long time ages things  you can sell them for high amount. this is just like a gold.. unlike bitcoin every day every month many people and traders are buying bitcoins and sell them in the right time. also you can use bitcoin in many stores online and more adoption will come unlike gold that there is no adoption for gold.
