681  Economy / Economics / Re: Exclusive Tax Proposals On American Billionaires on: August 07, 2020, 04:25:39 PM
This proposal is stupid, targeting these crypto billionaires are also targeting us crypto investors. These people are among the riches in the space, and speaking of billionaires, we have a lot of billionaires in the US, why make a separate proposal intended for crypto billionaires only.

And one time tax payment,  Sad Sad.. never heard of that before, pretty similar to the line of scammers in crypto, "one time payment".

Yeah one time tax is an absurd way to ask for money. They should have rather gone with forced donation.
US billionaires do enjoy cheaper taxes than many place in Asia and Europe as well the expenditure for bribing and red tape acceleration is cheaper in US.
If the state wants more money, they should rather implement more progressive taxes.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why only Bitvest and 777Coin on: August 07, 2020, 03:56:23 PM
No wonder they are good and well established platform. No gambling site can run such huge campaign for so long if they don't have a good volume users.
But again, advertisement is not everything. The highest grossing crypto gambling site in amount and profit never advertises itself. It is hard to find it but when you do, it is hard to leave it. It's like it has a secret cult of it's own.
683  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: €10 no deposit bonus (sportsbook + casino) on: August 07, 2020, 03:03:40 PM
The traditional casinos trying to lure in crypto gamblers through bitcoin deposit. They might be just trying to integrate bitcoin or are falsely putting that up for attention. Any casinos asking for KYC to play or withdraw on the first moment should be avoided. Every casino do ask KYC for suspicious activities but I won't be bothering to provide my KYC just for placing some low bets.
684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 07, 2020, 11:53:33 AM
With the introduction of stable coin, it has became easier to limit your loss. And the profit on your holding are unlimited. If you want to earn a constant profit, don't keep holding for ATH but sell some everytime you have a good profit. Holding 50% for higher price and trading other 50% for price fluctuation would be a much safer bet.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vietnam bursts an illegal casino who used to handle bets worth $3 billions on: August 07, 2020, 11:26:44 AM
I think that is really happening in the country, which is ban gambling, and I think the owner of the casino can paying the corrupt police or people from the government, so they can free to run their business without worry. In many countries, there will be people who will corrupt and help the business illegal, but the government is trying to clean up that thing in every department to catch that corrupt person. So we might see that in the news or television, some people being caught by the police because they are corrupt.
Corruption is the reason for each and every mistake that's been happening with management. When there happens mismanagement automatically the system will collapse. Same is with the gambling business. The corrupt officials without following regulations support it, finally they run away with poor peoples money. In my country gambling networks function from warehouses.

Indeed. Corruption happens in many countries, and it's not just happening in the government, but it's also happening in any aspect of jobs. So it is not surprising if we see some corrupt officials from the government have back up for the gambling places, so the law can not touch those places. But I am sure that in the end, they can not always break the law, and there will be some honest officials who would chase them, and arrest them because of their fault.

The reason why illegal gambling flourish is they don't pay the taxes. When casinos don't pay taxes and don't have to follow the guidelines, it would generate more profit and mostly provide better returns to gamblers. Many of the countries have strict gambling regulations and they take a good chunk of profit as taxes.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC looking for more tools to track crypto on: August 07, 2020, 11:05:26 AM
They can just force any exchange and wallets that wants to operate in United States to give a complete log of user data and their crypto balances, transactions and behaviors. Most of the user at some time do use a centralized wallet and exchange. Once, they get the transaction, they can keep on tracking till they find another wallet on their database tracking whole of the chain. The supercomputers do need some job.
687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommended Trading Bot. on: August 07, 2020, 06:18:00 AM
It's really frustrating when you are manually placing buy and sell orders on price changes. All I need is automation on placing buy and sell order according to price. Gekko is nice but it doesn't support binance. I am now trying cryptohopper as many people did recommend it but still struggling to know how it exactly works.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 06, 2020, 04:23:06 PM
Having a lawsuit is different than actually win it. Anyone can blame anyone for anything. If anyone placed a lawsuit against me even without a reason, I'd be called for a response by the court. And it's not compulsory for me to answer but a simple written response would be enough for me to win the lawsuit if the claims are baseless. Similarly, I don't think anyone would be able to stop people from filing a lawsuit but they'd be difficult to prove if the casinos claimed they actually were doing as required.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone seen this website before? on: August 06, 2020, 12:43:16 PM
These are just another ponzi scheme. There are thousands of them trying to lure novice and gullible investors. Any investment that seems too good to be true are generally scam. There are no any profitable cloud mining scheme. And anyone that provides you with a fixed profit is going to scam you. Any promises of more than 1% per month on fiat or fiat based currency and over 2% per month for crypto are 99% scams.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling going to be regulated on: August 06, 2020, 06:17:44 AM
That's for UK I guess. There are many registered gambling sites in UK and they might also enforce that to it's users but away from that, the UK government would have no jurisdiction. I think they can't even force their overseas territory as a lot of gambling sites are registered on british overseas territories which are also a tax heaven.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 05, 2020, 04:52:46 PM
There are always risks. On such degree of explosion, a safely kept paper might survive but a human won't. If the sum is large enough or is a corporate holding, it would be wise to let multiple people have the access to the wallet just in case. For personal holdings, it would be okay to let your wife and children know about it.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: August 05, 2020, 04:37:25 PM
I've seen some practice matches involving both men and women and men easily superpower over women. Many of the popular women team players are occasionally found with larger amount of testosterone which is a male hormone. These two facts clearly establish that a women can not physically match men (exception being the women with men hormones) and if any made a part of the team, it would be just for a cosmetic purpose.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Brave browser reaches 16.7 million monthly active users. on: August 04, 2020, 04:24:24 PM
The best thing about Brave is they are a browser first. The initial release of brave was buggy and the experience was not good for regular browsing but they have improved in every sectors and now comes in line with the best browser available in every benchmarks. They are not far behind from chrome, firefox or edge. It's sometimes even faster with ad blocking. BAT reward are additional perks.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 04, 2020, 08:34:42 AM
It's not that government has not tried to make crypto illegal, they did and they failed.
The same happened in my country. The government first ignored it, after some complaints, they cracked down on bank integrated exchanges. They even seized mining equipments and called mining and trading of crypto illegal. But that didn't stopped people from P2P trading and mining. And with cheap electricity here, mining farms are again booming this time with the protection of state.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POS-Only Crypto Exchange? on: August 04, 2020, 02:42:27 AM
The thing is there is no much room for POW coins and community POS coins are also not being able to sustain for long. Every new crypto are from well funded projects and there are lesser and lesser involvement in community coins as the volunteer coders are now getting better incentive for getting involved in good projects. I don't even know any of those POS or POW coins that came in last year and made it to spotlight.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do we really need stable coin? on: August 02, 2020, 11:17:10 AM
I am a full time crypto trader and I trade using Bitcoin/usdt coins and trading pair, most times I keep USD in stable coins and wait for a perfect time to buy back some satoshis, this is the fastest way to double your Bitcoin, usdt and other stable coins are very useful in volatility market

Most of the traders do the same. I'm not an active trader still I managed to sell 10% of my holding at 11999 today and am waiting to a market movement to decide another buy. I'd wait if the market still falls but would buy anywhere below 11300 if the price starts to move up. This simple grid trading strategy is effective if you are taking fiat as your initial investment.
697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see Bitcoin price by the end of 2020? on: August 02, 2020, 12:57:43 AM
Last day I went through some of the historical movement of bitcoin and my own custom metrics to find how high the price may go. My predictions made the bitcoin rise upto about 21K USD and the subsequent correction would be resisted around 11.5K USD making a slight correction afterwards. I have already placed my sell orders (at different support level) as the price crossed 11.5K.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 01, 2020, 04:21:32 PM
Ireland batting first again seems to be close to their previous score only. Though the good point is that they will end up batting either full 50 overs or close to that. Curtis is playing on 42 . They should be targeting crossing 200 runs atleast and try to pick few wickets of England team rather than losing this game one sided.
What ever score Ireland is going to make from this point will not be competitive and the odds are lopsided from the start when they lost a couple of wickets and i do not understand why the Ireland captain is fixated on deciding to bat first when their batsman are struggling to make any impact or may be because they are worried that England will post a huge total and humiliate their bowlers  Grin.

The last two partnership for the 7th wicket went impressive and the 8th wicket partnership is also above 50 at the moment. These two partnership now placed the Irish team to a competitive target. With two overs left, they'd probably give a target of 225+ and if these bowlers performed as well as they bat today, the game could turn to any sides.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum classic was attacked? on: August 01, 2020, 03:07:47 PM
Reorg needs 51% of hash rate but how could this single miner get 51% of ETC hash?
This is either a 51% attack from some large mining pools or a completely unidentified bug with the ETC and probably ETH blockchain.
They are also asking for stopping deposit and withdrawal while continue with mining the coin in current state.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: August 01, 2020, 12:37:31 PM
For a country that has it's previous physical ballot election interfered by a foreign government, an email voting would be a disaster. What if the Russians hacked again and this time elected Putin as the President?
It would be better to let the coronavirus crisis settle which may take a couple of more years and go through elections when everything gets normal.
