6801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinTalk's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2019, 05:51:29 PM
Are you seeing Chelsea's game ? They're doing quite well just as I've predicted, all I want is just one more goal from the Blues and we can call it a day.

Lampard have to work on the teams second half performance. From the 3 games so far we get outperformed in the second half of the games but usually start very well in the first. Just imagine if we didn't have an advantage through that brilliant goal from Mount in the first half, we would had easily lost this match too. Game ended in a draw, better than losing as Leicester, had better chances of winning the game.

If I am not mistaken then I have seen somewhere hilariousandco said to send the entry fee and then to contact with him. He will send the joining link or something.

Thanks, saw the information on the OP but thought it was an old information since the season has already begun. Will do just that.
6802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinTalk's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2019, 03:27:28 PM
@hilariousandco is it too late to join the pool? I don't mind if I have lost two weeks of gameplay (although thank goodness I didn't predict because I would had lost woefully) but I'm feeling in the mood to give the pool a try and since money is now involved hopefully my predictions will be less influence by emotions.
6803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Black market of merit!!!!!! on: August 18, 2019, 01:40:34 PM
This is just a phase, no worries you'll grow out of it when you do rank up, if only you take a decision to pay less attention to who is getting meriting and more attention to developing yourself into getting merited. We have
Quote
131 merit sources with a total merit generation of up to 21045 sMerit per 30 days
meaning there's enough smerit to go round. Before the recent appointment of new merit sources there was still a large amount of monthly smerits, circulating the forum. Substracting the propose merit abuses you speak of by the Hero/legendary rank, there would had still been enough smerits to go round.

Hardly before you see any Hero/Legendary (mostly old era) members having above 500/1000 earned smerits that's just to prove there isn't much meriting ongoing at those rank as the lower rank presumed. The 1,2,3 meriting you see, does nothing much to those ranks in regards to ranking up.
6804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some bounty managers have no experience on: August 18, 2019, 11:26:20 AM
Developers and teams should always try not to give out their bounty program for their projects to awful bounty managers, many are average and some are newbies and they aren't not very good with their work, imagine having to teach bounty manager how compulsory 'Prove of authentication' posts are when bounty is already ongoing is ridiculous

Greediness is one of those reasons for this, the project prefer hiring some random users who will be willing to recieve any amount of cents they offer refusing to spend money to hire a professional or someone with working experience. These experiences most not come from managing a campaign per say but the manager most have participated in other bounty and have an idea on how it's been managed.

Another reason for this practice is they prefer choosing someone they can control, someone who their opinion doesn't matter and will be willing to conspire with them to scam the bounty hunters if the need arises by refusing to pay or delaying payment to create room for silly excuses to disqualify some participants. The unprofessionalism of managers is one of those reason most participants end up been disqualified from campaign and if such cases are observe, feel free to create an accusation thread on the respective board for them to be tagged.
6805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A 2019 Critical Crypto Overview on: August 18, 2019, 11:00:31 AM
Almost every shitcoin will ultimately die in the next 1-5 years, but the ecosystem will continue to evolve as they new cycles and greater tech developers emerge in this space.

Well drafted overview, as I enjoy reading through the thread. The quoted part above is what stood out from the message you intend passing with this post followed by the part you identify what made bitcoin special (it's originality and has stood the taste of time). My question goes like this, can this also be said about Ethereum since it has that originality element and have also stood the taste of time although not as much as bitcoin has. Ethereum was proposed in 2013, developed 2014 and went live July, 2015 so it's been 4years now. Bitcoin is special, can ethereum also be considered special?. What's your take on this putting into consideration all the competitors ethereum has currently and would have in the near future.

Back to my qouted part above, the assurance in those words gives me a relief. You have been in the industry far enough to observe the changes and can testify the now  altcoins are superior to the altcoins then and the future is bright for the altcoin industry. I'm a love of altcoins not just because of the opportunity it offers for individuals like us that miss the bitcoin train but because of its diverse utility purpose.
6806  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] Yobit Signature Campaign / Sr. Member- Legendary on: August 18, 2019, 09:16:45 AM
There are a lot of fake YoBit support accounts on various platforms. It is not out of the question that the OP is one of them.

The fake support accounts have previously tricked people into sending money to the person behind the fake support account.
... but a DT member has left a trust feed back attesting it's a legit alt account...
So it's a little bit confusing  Undecided

"Alt account of yobit exchange" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2586039

This account might or might not have be authorized by yobit exchange but until they (yobit exchange) bring out an official statement that they're or aren't connected to the account, we have to treat the account as not an alt for precaution measure but if it's an alt, members of the forum still have to be cautious when trading with the exchange that's why my feedback connects both accounts reviewing the previous feedbacks of the main account.

Feedback has been adjusted to best suit the situation.
6807  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pimoncoin - SCAM - They are deceiving people. on: August 18, 2019, 03:58:44 AM
@Pimoncoin, We request you make the spreadsheet in the next 24hours accessable to everyone so we can investigate this issue or risk getting tagged and also flagged for hiding evidence believing this Speedsheet was accessable when OP indicated it as evidence. Also was there some kind of airdrop tokens or what as from the smart contract I noticed many accounts recieving the exact small allocation of tokens.

@OP the contract show different users recieving different amount of token although I can't verify if these were bounty participants addresses. Now we'll have to cross-check each or most address on the spreadsheet (when it becomes accessable) especially ranks that were meant to recieved different stakes to verify this your claim until then the account stays untagged (for me). For future reference, always archive any evidence you have to avoid alterations.

In the City vs Tottenham match, I want City to lose at least a point. You know why 🤪

Liverpool fan  Grin, you guys were lucky as Southampton would had easily won that match. They outplayed Liverpool especially in the first half. Mane's goal was the savior as it gave you guys something to fight for. Liverpool didn't play today's game like a team that want to win the league. Chelsea took something out of you guys at Istanbul. Wonder how you guys will perform against Arsenal.

You're in luck though as Lucas just equalize for Tottenham with his very first touch of the ball (through a header). Scoreline 2:2. Full-time. Another last minute VAR intervention to denial Manchester city a win over Tottenham just as it did in the champions league last season.
6810  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinhe - scammed bounty hunters on: August 17, 2019, 01:22:38 PM
I found the Coinhe main BTT account to be tagged https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2351689 It hasn't been online for almost a month

Thanks for this information, irrespective of account been active or not it'll still be tagged to alert future patronizers about the shady behavior of the project. If they can treat their promoters this way then the investors aren't an exception.

OP follow this steps explained by @Patatas to create a flag or click on this link; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=2351689 the rest procedures are self explanatory. Already left a negative feedback on account though.
6811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: its time bounty hunters should start taking actions on: August 17, 2019, 09:31:12 AM
Just to clear you OP,  generally red tagging (leaving negative feedback) only affect an account when you're a DT member. The best you can do is create a flag and request for support to make this flag active. The flag type 2&3 is most appropriate for issues like this as they (project and in some cases campaign mangers) have broken a contract with the bounty participants.

The message you should pass across is the encouragement of more affected hunters to report such cases when they encounter them. DT members are very active in the scam accusation and reputation board any report made there would easily get our attention. Hunters taking matters into their own hands (by leaving negative feedback) won't have any impact as the accounts involve wouldn't be affected.

You can request for flag support or DT members to leave visible negative feedback on scam bounty and bounty manager here; Request for flag support or negative feedback - Bounty & Bounty Manager Scams.
6812  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan on: August 17, 2019, 06:41:55 AM
Would 50 Premium NordVPN accounts be enough?

And will give (for free) to anyone who land me +Spotify Premium account too.

Good enough now?

For security reasons, lenders are advice not to accept collaterals that can be reclaimed without their approval after the laon request has been approved. Any collateral that has to do with a centralized 3rd party service providers are discouraged. That's why your loan request hasn't be approved.

Preferable if you have tradable altcoins and you don't want to sell, you can bring that to the table and I'll approve your loan request myself. Have around BTC0.02 from signature campaign just sitting in my biz wallet doing nothing.
6813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 17, 2019, 03:59:21 AM
Why so serious? @CryptopreneurBrainboss

Lol, it that how i sounded? sorry buddy as it wasn't intentional but my club is just been picked on and as a devoted club member just have to show them support always even in lost.

For today's match, the outcome of Liverpool vs Southampton will determine how serious minded Manchester City would play against Tottenham. Since Liverpool would easily take the 3points from the game, I predict a win for Manchester City too putting into consideration this is just the start of the season and the chances of them losing any match isn't present.
6814  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: August 17, 2019, 03:41:22 AM
Why give @theymos so much Merit in this post? Huh He has no need for it  Grin Grin Grin

Keep those Merits for us!

Funny but I asked myself that very question when I was finding it difficult to earn some merit (back in 2018). When I thought about the level of merit he recieved been influence mostly as an act of appreciation, I asked why can't a simple "Thank you message" be used to show that appreciate as I felt we were been deprived merit by over meriting his topic although all those thoughts disappeared after I got informed on the number of smerit circulating the forum monthly. There's quite enough to go round.

If you don't find where to spend merits, then spend it on theymos' posts.

I disagree with this suggestion, personally I don't think I have ever merited any of his post although I have recieved from him on several occasions. Me not meriting, doesn't mean I don't find his post informative or anything but due to the difference in our time zone, (when he's active is when I'm sleeping) so before I see any of his update/posts, it must have gotten enough merit to rank up 10-30 different newbies Grin. So I just intentionally decide to take my meriting somewhere else especially as his post aren't hidden like others and can easily be merited.

In my view, If you can't find a quality post, lower your standards and merit the next decent post you see (someone who isn't spamming)
6815  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinhe - scammed bounty hunters on: August 17, 2019, 02:30:14 AM
Well your reputation on the forum makes me question this accusation of yours.
That's a wrong way to look at things. An ad-hominem fallacy to be specific. They can be a scammer but show relevant proofs about another service being a scam.

Don't misunderstand me, I didn't discard his accusation, i only aired my opinion. I was willing to leave a negative feedback for the project to get alerted and maybe defend themselves but since the account linked in OP was not directly involved in the scam, the tagging or flagging of that account is debatable.

I believe, with other affected hunters and not just one individual this accusation would have enough support especially as the accuser have proven himself in the past to be an untrustworthy individual to the community & there must have been more than one affected user on the forum. Hope you don't mind alerting them about this accusation via the group to strengthen your claims.
6816  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitCollar (BOR) - fake team and plagiarized whitepaper! on: August 16, 2019, 07:10:34 PM
We were working in same idea but a project which is facing different market. Working in niche market is our purpose.

There's no problem in two projects working on similar ideas but where there's an issue is the word to word plagiarism of another project's whitepaper which simply means you stole the idea from Zeux. If you guys don't have the time to write your whitepaper then it simple means the project is a scam. Also why is your website displaying fake team members, where are the actual team members as you claim to be a genuine project. The evidence provide above have expose you guys as a project likable to scam her investors.

Great job @morvillz7z, supported the flag, tagged both accounts.
6817  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinhe - scammed bounty hunters on: August 16, 2019, 04:10:41 PM
Well your reputation on the forum makes me question this accusation of yours. But since it has to do with delay of bounty payment just to come up with some silly excuses to denial bounty hunters of their payment, I would have to assume your accusation is correct because we have experience similar scenario with the exact same technique and well the image evidence look convincing.

Still, I can't leave a negative feedback on that account you linked in OP since I see no reason to tagged the user unless he's an accomplice (directly involved). From the post history of the account, it's just an ANN and bounty thread creator. Does the project have any direct account on the forum, if it does add it to the OP but if it doesn't them the issue of tagging the only representing account has to be debatable.
6818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum getting old? on: August 16, 2019, 03:19:57 PM
Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

This shouldn't be a question instead a statement because ethereum is already old. The hype towards the project is gone, guess that's why Vitalik Buterin introduced the 2.0 to bring back that hype from expectation of investors but that isn't working effectively since no one is paying any attention to altcoins this period, the news is all bitcoin. ETH competitors irrespective of how decentralized they're, are doing quite well than ethereum was. Most popular example is EOS were transactions are instant with zero fees unlike ethereum blockchain.

ICOs which were a major contributor to ethereum success has been replaced by IEO which Binance is leading that industry and now that they have launch their very own blockchain who knows they might develop their DEX into conquering the crowdfunding industry and if that does happen, I don't think ethereum would have much effect in the industry. We now have other projects that offer similar feature of ethereum with better user experience and innovations. Ethereum is old (no question mark).
6819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 tips for recognizing scams through whitepaper research on: August 16, 2019, 02:50:24 PM
Team is the first to be checked IMO. However, that's quite difficult to understand the real person behind the team.

That's what I thought too at first when I started investing in Altcoin mostly through ICOs in 2017 but I got to understand, in this space the teams (mostly made up of the so called crypto influencer), can't be trusted as they are just been recycled from one project to another for hype purpose. I now rely on the idea (in this case technology) behind the project and how realistic it's before I consider the teams involved in the development and management of project.

Therefore I'll be backing what's in the OP in regards to technology coming as the number one tip although I think, I'll consider reviewing the team members before looking at the roadmap, as this will give me an idea of how achievable the roadmap would be.
6820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 16, 2019, 12:24:31 PM
Easily we would had won both games we have played so far. The two goals cancelled due to offside were brilliant goals from two youngsters. Lampard is building somethings special, the boys played a beautiful football and i was proud we took the fight to the best team in Europe (Liverpool).
More excuses bro? Grin
I think you will say something like "Chelsea could have been the EPL winner" at the end of this season Grin

Behold, the new Arsenal/ManUtd is born!

Well if i can say that at the end of the season, then we did achieve something worth celebrating as everyone have already written Chelsea off this season. Re-read my reply, i didn't give any excuse instead admitted defeat while my head was held high and only pointed out the obvious.

We did surprise many football lovers at Istanbul and around the world that watched that finals and that's just a prove Lampard would surprise all the doubters this season. Not saying he'll win the league but well it's football, anything is possible.
