It is challenging to us because we are studying at the same time working on bitcoin. But your hardship will not wasted because it is really support you in financial. In the next 5 years, ripple will not be dead for sure like bitcoin, it is the best company in the industry for me, but not the best cryptocurrency for sure as it is very centralized.
The news linked by OP seems like a legitimate one because I found another reliable source from cointelegraph stating the same news. If ripple loses it's appeal in New York, they would be dead for sure because they must cease operation in accordance to the lawsuit. I wonder though, will ripple become a decentralized coins if that happens? Or will it stay to be the same old centralized coin it used to be continuing it's operation? People who does this are clearly dumb and should stay away form the internet to avoid more damages in their lives. Because damn! I think the trend is over now, the price of BTC is stable in the range of $ 9300-9800, I think in the near future he will stabilize in the $ 10,000 range possible in Q3 we expect it soon, because the bad issue of crypto is slowly diminishing, thus making investors began to re-interested to invest his capital in crypto.

Seems we are again testing the base support around $9000. Last time it went to 8800 and held strong there. If Bitcoin holds here in the low 9000s, making a double bottom around 9000, that should mean we're finally reading to take down $10k resistance.

I presently use an exchange service, that has option to hold in Fiat money as well, such as USD
would this method work.
1. put some money into a crypto. e.g. ETHEREAL
2. wait for it to all go up, the rates to go up
3. withdraw all or just the gained earnings and put into Fiat account as holding
4. wait for Ethereum etc to go down again, to fall
5. reinvest and put in from Fiat account again,
6. wait for Cryptos to go back to green again.
7 repeat cycle
