6821  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 18, 2015, 09:06:30 AM
If Satoshi Nakamoto come back and the army government admits Bitcoin.

If Satoshi come back, it will be a good hype for the market because the price will drive up and it will be just a bubble for a while. Satoshi to be back will have nothing to do with the value to be honest because the market is based on demands and order and of course some hype or FUD to drive the price

If goverments were to acknowledge BTC than it will be a good addition since if BTC will be regulated, more and more people will have some faith in it and of course it will help to spread the mass adoption as well
6822  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 18, 2015, 08:52:50 AM
He probably means ridiculous as in ridiculously low market cap. It is only a few billion at the time, there are single individuals who own more money than that.

Well it is quite an achievement already for BTC as because it is still new and if you take quick flash back, then you will realize that Gold marketcap 20 years ago was almost the same with BTC.

I wouldnt say that this is ridicilous low because this baby step will lead to a more higher marketcap if people will to take this seriously though  Wink

6823  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: May 18, 2015, 08:38:51 AM
funny thing is that if people will not buy bitcoin because of its instability in price then the price will never become stable, because they are the reason for a less volatile price in the future

the issue is that people don't see a reason to buy bitcoin, this is the truth, at this rate, we will never achieve 1k again

People hate things that are unsure, in this case it will be the volatility. That is the main reason people are more interested in gold since the value of it is more stable than BTC . Even if people see a reason to buy bitcoin there is no guarantee as well that we might reach 1k again because there is a lot of opportunist waiting for profit . With the saying that goes "every buy is a sell" people might dump as soon as they see a pump.

If you wait for bitcoin to become rare I think you wont hit that time

Bitcoin cant be "rare" in supply because the supply will keep on being 21M . The value will drop or raise just based on demands and orders
6824  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: May 18, 2015, 08:20:35 AM
we can help ourselves like we already do, by buying weapons for themselves and protect our house, yeah it might become a far old west but there is nothing else you can do, police are not that efficient either, and they sometime abuse their power...

you see you can't live in a perfect world no matter if you have a government or not

Even in the old west there is a goverment to ensure that everyone could live a safe life . There is no guarantee of course people will live a happy life but it will be an insurance that someone may live a better life since everything will be more socialized than without the goverment

What do you define as a criminal?  The government has made drugs illegal, so it has evolved into a worldwide black market with conflict resolution coming from violence.  It is government policy that has created the violence and "criminals" who are put into jail without having a victim.  Which wars would take place without government?

Criminals are those who conduct things outside of the law. It is a fact that most goverment are corrupt and of course the policy created more criminals because some people just cant stand to be ruled with the silly rules but ofcourse a country without a goverment will not be a better places than those with goverment
6825  Economy / Gambling / Re: sawdice the New Age of Dice - Let's play a game. on: May 18, 2015, 07:36:31 AM
But I wonder if that usage of Saw theme is not copyright infringement?

I believe it is copyright infringement

Did op paid to be able to use Saw motif?

I would say that he doesnt pay for it because if he is , then ofcourse he would have mention it at OP already

Because of this I am afraid that this site can be taken down. Is that possible?

It is possible if the legal feds notice this and it can be taken down and the owner of the site will be charge but I doubt that they will notice this since this site is nearly up for less than 24 hours and ofcourse if this site stays under the radars than they will not be notice

P.S : the same thing happened for the stripdice  , I believe they put on girls picture that are copyrighted as well but they has not been taken down yet ( or else I would say their business doesnt go well )

I'm trying to register but when i fill all the fields and click on "Let's play a game" nothing happens. It just stays there.
Can you please fix it?
Thanks!

You sure? because it is working perfectly on my end. It could be due to your internet connection or you might want to refresh the page and try again
6826  Economy / Gambling / Re: sawdice the New Age of Dice - Let's play a game. on: May 18, 2015, 06:04:23 AM
No kidding, the same script with uberdice and dicebits

Kinda neat and smoother if you were to compare with both of those two sites

Consider changing your TOS because using

Code:
bla bla bla . . .
bla bla bla . . .
bla bla bla . . .

Make you seems very unproffesional

I got this error while playing, no idea if this is the issue about the compatibility of my browser because I couldnt scroll it to view the missing things in the statistic pages there

I am not sure how the escrow system works. Do you have a link on how I can do what you're talking about?

This image helps you understand how it works

Basically escrow is to protect both party ( buyer and/or seller ) from being scammed throughout the transaction process and since you are new, that is why escrow is a must

Also you might want to read this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133931.0

And here is the list of the trusted escrow we have on this forum, you may choose one for your transaction https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

P.S : always use escrow for your own safety
6828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for a site with the lowest house edge for Blackjack on: May 17, 2015, 09:50:52 PM
With BTC deposits obviously.

I've looked around a bit and the house edge for BTC sites is always too big for my taste.

I would like to hear your suggestions or where you currently play Blackjack. I will edit this post and list the house edge values of suggested sites.

That will depends on the rules of the house if you want to know about the house edge of the blackjack

http://wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/calculator/

The site above simply calculate the odds of BlackJack depending on the house rules but though It will be like about 0.1-0.3 % differences for each house since most house apply the soft17 rules

Suggestion will be either Coinroyale or satoshibet for BlackJack
6829  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin value in the next future 50 years- rubbish or global currency? on: May 17, 2015, 09:29:18 PM
I think the halving after that will be the most significant. Annual coin inflation will be down to 1.8% by then and the financial instruments will be very established and widespread. If a much healthier amount of demand exists at that point we will see some genuine deflationary effects.

Halving will have nothing to do with the value unlike some goods which economics laws is applied into.
Economic laws : less supply high demands will increase the price for the goods

BTC currently has a low demands on it which means that even if the supply of the coins were to drop , it will not have a severe effect for the value. As we see, BTC is currently most used to gain some profit through trading , which means that the supply in circulation actually has no effect to the price since the value will be based on the trading orders and it can be easily manipulated though
6830  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 17, 2015, 09:21:32 PM
it's like waiting for the new graphic card from amd or nvidia, the long you wait the more you remain without nothing, better to act fast, it won't drop indefinitely

Some people just dont like to lose  Wink . Whenever they see the price drops , they freaked out , sell their BTC and regret that it was all just a bearish. The same thing applied for buying, some people thought the price might drop even more, waited for some time and later on to regret that the price goes.

when you see a price that remain above a certain target for so long, it's basically telling you that is the time to buy

True in some way but you dont know if a whale might manipulate the market later on

assets like bitcoin with such a ridiculous market cap, is a mndatory buy

I hope you said this to be in sarcasm because the BTC market cap is not in ridicilous amount  Wink
6831  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 17, 2015, 05:16:34 PM
Why not buying in that lower price if you are really for a long term? You buy with every price and hope it will raise again so you will sell a lot of it. And you need to take great risk like gambling it to make your investment is going until the last piece. That is what means long term

Actually this is a bit off. As the name stated , a long term investment in BTC that keeping your stash of coins for X period of time.
You dont buy at any price you desire but you set up a limit at what price will you be buying for it i.e $220. Everytime BTC hit $220 or lower than you will to purchase it and keep it in cold wallet or paper wallet, wait for X amount of time (basically months) to sell them again or use them to purchase things

P.S : people are not most into long term anymore since the price is keep on declining, some people may still be a BTC believer though
6832  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: May 17, 2015, 05:04:27 PM
Thats why I said in order to make bitcoin bigger, government need a fully control of this bitcoin so bitcoin will become mainstream to everyone not the government have the power to control it, but everything is according to their regulation, besides government wouldnt get the control because no one know who control bitcoin for now.

Your opinion is a bit off here. Government cant control BTC because BTC is created with the purposed to be a decentralized currency which means that no one is to control BTC including satoshi the creator.
In fact, government could help if they were to support BTC to go mainstream but rather most government will leave it as it is because supporting something unbenefical and uncontrollable to them will not bring them any good

P.S : Fun comment : is there any "That bitcoin? "  Tongue
Grammatical error ofcourse should have been just "bitcoin"

He used the words "this bitcoin". I just had to seize the opportunity.

He used "this bitcoin" words again , above

All you say is true, but for example, has anyone yet answered to this:
You sign a smart contract under the blockchain, which says you own a property.
Someone jumps inside your property, which you bought under that contract.
If the government doesn't recognize that contract, why would they be responsible of not sending the police to help you out? In other words you are fucked, unless you buy private security and forget about the police too, something not very mainstream friendly.

So basically, we need the government for this, which means regulations.

Good example, unfortunately yes without the government's recoqnizion of such contracts then they would not help you but the point of my post is to counter BTCevo's post about "government to control BTC"

I bolded the part where I state that goverment to support BTC , basically supporting means not to "control". Your point of example aboutthe smart contracts actually could be solve by the goverment supporting BTC but as of we know most of the goverment dont care about BTC or more or less wont be caring such things because it serve nothing to benefit them

P.S : I could be wrong on the smart contracts things though
6833  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiBet Bitcoin Casino - Provably Fair - Bonuses - Play Roulette, Blackjack on: May 17, 2015, 03:56:17 PM
Actually slots have lowerhigher house edge than Blackjack, every time I got bonus, I prefer playing BJ, Addi wrote the house edge about his slots on his blogs, it is about 93% expect return to players, it means 7% house edge in SB slots.

I have played in SB for a long time, every time I only played slots, I was busted with a 10%-40% of 40X rollover, playing slots to complete a 60X rollover no deposit bonus becomes an 0.1% possible mission,  Cheesy  Unless we get jackpot here, or I don't think anyone can complete 60X so high rollover only playing slots.

It should be higher, I think it is a typo from you there, 7% house edge for slots is high enough.

Anyway it will be hard to play with the slots unless you have quite high balance and only bet a small amount of it to get the wagered amount. You will need higher balance by playing at another games before you can challenge the slots.

Since the roulette contributes on the wagering process as well, has anyone tried betting max bet on red and blue? It should help to complete the wagering requirement unless you are unlucky to hit the zero

Yes, my typo, thanks my friend! I have post in other threads about my views, I persuade players to play low house edge games, because they may win money from the casinos, but when they play slots in casinos, they can hardly complete high rollover, unless they have a big bankroll to hit a jackpot.

About roulette betting on red and blue, I tried it 3 times, and were all failed, lol, European roulette has 2.7% house edge, so we can easily hit 0 if play in this way for 100 times.

People seldom want to play in BlackJack because it requires players to be active and to think more of the possibilities since most sites apply the soft17 rules for the dealer.
People are always in favor more for dice sites because it requires almost nothing rather than just luck because all you need is a single click to roll the dice or simply use autobet

As for the bolded part, do you mean that you hit zero 3 times consecutively? What I actually meant was not to play all the wagering requirement through this strategy but rather just play it several times since it helps with the wagering process but of course Im aware that you might hit zero while doing it

I won 18BTC from SatoshiBet bonuses in total completed rollover for all bonus codes except one  Grin

Some people are always lucky though Smiley. Sooner or later, Addi might stop the no deposit bonus code since most are winning alot from it
6834  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your experiences with gambling? on: May 17, 2015, 03:38:06 PM
what are your experiences with gambling, also what site are u gambling on and what kind of gambling.

My experiences are bad one, I am still losing like 1+ BTC now ( still recovering ) . Lost about 2+ BTC in sportsbook due to my stupidity before I know how to control my greed in gambling.

Sites to use mainly for gambling are :
Satoshibet (mainly for their no deposit bonus code

PrimeDice & Dadice (switching between each other depending on my moods)

Directbet (main place for gambling especially their soccer bets)

Gambling can be dangerous if you thought that you could be rich from it. You will end up losing more if you are using this mindset, keep in mind that you could be either lucky to win a lot or lose alot more than what you expected

I think that is a good way to gamble using faucets because you wont lose anything

First , not everyone could win a lot from faucet , you will need some extra luck for it . Second, even if you thought that you dont lose, the fact is a lost is still a lost which means you lose something although it is called as "unreal lost"
6835  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▓ 64Blocks.com ░▒▓ The Social Game! ▓▒░ » Multiplayer » Play or Invest ▓ on: May 17, 2015, 03:20:35 PM
i think this site similar with btcdemon where we can choose specific number too

Similar in term of choosing the specific number is a YES, the other similarities will be at the level up feature but the main different would be that 64blocks is a multiplayer games where each players are starting the game simultaneously like bustabit while btcdemon is a dice game where players play their own game without any correlation to the other players.

Furthermore I would add that in term of UI 64blocks is much more simpler and betternot to mention that 64blocks has better promotions than btcdemon too

just clear me 1 thing why support so passive??

It is not that the support is so passive but rather that they lack in the number of people to handle the supports section. While you are sending them an email for support request, at the same time there may be several people sending the same request as well .
From what I read that only Stunna and Edward handle the support section and they are getting tons of request each day, your email could be missed out

P.S : atleast you could be sure that your deposits will eventually be there though since this is PrimeDice  Wink and better not to show up your TX ID since some people may use it to claim that they account is theirs

They surely have enough profit to hire people for support. Anyone have an idea why they don't hire more people?

This has been discussed before , PrimeDice doesnt want the risk to hire more people for it because it could leak sensitive information of their customer which in this case is email and BTC address to a stranger. That is why Stunna and Edward is the one who handle the support section.

And no need to quote that image on every post . Nor to spam this thread about that issue as i said it will be sorted .

U sent msg to ours facebook page, couple of them here, then to my pm , and email to support Cheesy .

ITS NOTICED NO NEED TO SPAM.

I hope that there will be spoiler option at the new forum software later just incase someone keep on quoting on a long image posts there, it is annoying lol

@ arallmuus what this will be doing is clenching my curiosity to how much people in this section have won or lost gambling btc which I thought would be kind of obvious to be fair (nothing serious just for personal use  Tongue), There is nothing I have found that could answer that for me so this is my attempt at getting the answer  Wink

It will also be a clear signal to any newbies who think they can make money from gambling and reinforce my effort to give it up long term, until I can control the want it now mentality and will be able to play just for fun.

By looking at it though we have many really good gamblers who are giving the casinos a hard time with all there winning  Cheesy

Good gamblers? No, Lucky gamblers then Yes. Anyway creating a pool on how many players have win or lose will not be a warning for newbie that wanted to try to make some profit by trying on the luck because people are greedy to begin with which you can see by the numbers of newbie asking "what your strategy is in X sites Wink

If you could, it would be better if you could create a vertical graph based on the pool to make it easier to to compare though (hate horizontal graph though )
