6821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 24, 2019, 03:57:13 PM
There are two reasons, they want it monitored and regulated because this is a good source of revenues, they are banning gambling that does not have licensed, another reason is they want total control of the wealth of their people like they do in North Korea or they are ultra-religious people and it is forbidden according to their holy book.

No government can really stop gambling its part of our nature, either they imposed a stiff penalty or they regulate it
So far regulation is the most popular because it's a multi-billion dollar business, and there are cities built for gambling only.

6823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 24, 2019, 12:50:49 PM
I started with fiat money, before cryptos, but only in sports bets, but after I found about cryptos I started to gambling in online casinos
And I prefer to bet with BTC, it's easier to play in any website I want

Before cryptos, it was hard to bet in my country because we have some strict laws against casinos and the IPs usually were blocked

I started gambling in fiat, even before the creation of Cryptocurrency, I gamble in horse racing and lotto although moderately when I got in the Cryptocurrency and stumble online Cryptocurrency gambling sites just last year, I see the convenience of betting using Cryptocurrency, you don't need a bank account, you can gamble anonymously, because they don't ask for KYC.

Gambling in Cryptos offers a lot of conveniences like you can bet in your bedroom, you are anonymous and you can deposit using earnings coming from trading and bounty campaign, no wonder gamblers are now turning to popular crypto gambling sites.
6824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 24, 2019, 11:41:04 AM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?

It depends on the reputation of the site, I just got n invitation from one trusted gambling site that offers 50% bonus on my deposit, that's their birthday offer to their customers and the gambling site is still operating and very well known as a trusted site.

Accept this kind of offer from trusted gambling sites, there are a lot of new gambling sites that offer deposit bonus with codes after you made your deposit, you cannot withdraw your winnings and they go offline, it's a scam and that's their scheme.

6826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gigantic max supply is bad on: August 24, 2019, 09:56:35 AM
Apart from real use case do coins and tokens max supply counts as well? for example lets look at doge coin, its max supply is 280 billion and the circulating supply is 120billion which is presently trading at 0.0026$ what would have happened if its max supply is in millions ?

i think some coins have way to much max supply which actually affects the coin or token performance as well, coins with low supply will always have better value than having gigantic supply.

Supply is one issue but it's not the main issue why the coin is losing its value in the market, coins/tokens are losing its value in the market, because the concept is not enough for a long term, investors have a very short attention span, they jump from one coin to another because the coin is not performing and developing well and it's not about the supply.
There are coins being burned to lessen the supply but it still not helping the price to move.
6827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 23, 2019, 04:33:02 PM
I think bitcoin has been one of the biggest innovations of the human in the past years. Many altcoins have been created after bitcoin. But none of  them have been successful as bitcoin is. Why is that?
Why no altcoin can replace bticoin?
Every new thing and every technology is usually replaced by a newer one as the world is always developing.

The first television built was mechanical, then electronic television were invented, then colour televisions, digital, 3D, ....
The first automobiles invented were steam-powered wheeled vehicles, then electric automobiles appeared. Now we have autonomous cars. Now we have Tesla model S. Now we have Lamborghini.
All of us know about the developments made in mobile phones.

Every thing is being developed. Every device is finally replaced by a newer one. Why no altcoin has replaced bitcoin till now? Do you think it will happen in future?
I personally think people will trust what Satoshi has created more than altcoins till many years later.
Altcoins are created to make the developers rich. But bitcoin is different. Bitcoin was created in favor of us. So, no altcoin can be trusted as bitcoin.

What do you think?

I believe that if Cryptocurrency will be widely adopted, Bitcoin should be the frontrunner of adoption, because Bitcoin has all the fundamentals of Cryptocurrency, all who will get into Cryptocurrency should first understand Bitcoin and how it started.

There is no shortcut for this, we should not correlate Cryptocurrency to other technology they are very much different.
You are right when you said that these clone coins are created to make the company rich, Bitcoin is for us and was created for us.
6828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Unlock the Millions Stuck in Dead Coin Portfolios on: August 23, 2019, 03:49:42 PM
I remember two similar projects that have the same concept, they are not working now, and the devs are not posting here anymore about there project.
The first one was BARR  they launch their project way back 2015 BARR - Burning Altcoins for Redemption & Reduction
Raising the BARR by Reducing Supply
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219460.0

and the other one was also launched 2018 it was actually a pre-launched but for some unknown reason it did not push through
Pre Announcement: Burn All Coins (BAC)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1223028.0.

Will this kind of concept succeed? no one knows but all I know there are too many shitcoins in the market, and we are better off without them
6829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Founder Changpeng Zhao Says Funds Are SAFU on: August 23, 2019, 03:07:43 PM
Well!! Did you know? Recently binance founder changpeng says funds are SAFU.

Source: https://coinpedia.org/cryptocurrency-bulletin/funds-are-safu-changpeng-zhao/

What do you think about Binance?

I believe it! They have come a long way and their coin is in contention to be on the top 5 coins in the market, and it's only a matter of time.
They have made innovation in the Cryptocurrency business, they will do everything to protect the reputation od their site, from bad news and hackers.
It's hard to be one of the top exchange in the market, competitors will create FUDS to discredit you and hackers will create a way to get through.
6830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 23, 2019, 02:16:45 PM
With a lot of surveys going around here in our country betting on a politics is out of the questions, in fact, politicians like to commissioned, survey companies to find out if he has a chance to win the election and the results are made public.

It's not a battle between politicians here it's a battle between survey companies on who has the closest results in an election.
6831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 23, 2019, 01:08:06 PM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.

If the wallet where he is posting his private keys do not have coins anymore or no coins are coming then it's up to him to show or give his private key, but it's not a good practice, even if that is a useless wallet, we never know, like for example, you entered it in an airdrop or a give away and the coins came when you already exposed your private key.

We must be responsible and educated never exposed our private key, and always learn how to protect it at all cost, remember the last guy who claims to be Nakamoto stated that he lost his private key through negligence.
6832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is by no Means a Japanese on: August 23, 2019, 11:41:39 AM

There are Japanese in forex forum I sometimes visit and I can see they write perfect grammar. Nothing unusual for a person to learn English as 2nd language.

There is no real information about Satoshi but just the things he created. He may not be an American either nor a European unless he will prove himself.  No matter what his nationality may be, the crypto community will still be grateful to his product.

The first time I read about Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto I thought a Japanese created Bitcoin, and all the people believe it's a Japanese because the media thought a guy name Satoshi Nakamoto which they found is the real creator not thinking it's only a pseudonym.

Now we have many people coming claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto and none of them are Japanese, the latest is a Pakistani.
For me the real Nakamoto is not yet found and I'm pretty sure he is not a Japanese.

6833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex Delisting 23 Trading Pairs, Whats The Effect? on: August 23, 2019, 10:16:53 AM
I don't think it will have an effect at all on the coins that are delisted on their platform, Poloniex is not even in the top 10 and some of the coins that they are going to delist do have the volume on other exchanges, it could only mean traders of this coins prefer to trade their coins in other exchanges.

But I'm surprised at the number and some of the coins are old coins that traders and investors are trusting like Steem, Qtum, DASH, Xmr
6834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallins on: August 23, 2019, 08:13:55 AM
https://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/tyson-fury-v-otto-wallin/winner

We finally have some odds. As expected this is a very lucrative fight, if you are insane enough to bet for an Otto Wallin massive upset. This guy doesn't even have a wikipedia page, so it would be a shock, an amargeddon in the boxing world. It would ruin the Deontay Wilder rematch just like Joshua's loss ruined the fight vs Wilder, but it would be 10 times worse since this guy is less of a contender than Ruiz. As a boxing fan let's just hope things go as planned and this is an easy win for Tyson. It should be easy money, get some extra bucks and that's all. If someone wants to bet on a Tyson loss, I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to put 100 bucks or something that you can afford to lose just in case planets align and the disaster happens.

I have to check Youtube on who this Otto Wallins is, I watch some of his fights, and their match is not even a candidate for the main event, Otto is very slow and does not have a good knock out power, but hopefully, Tyson will not think this as an easy fight for him, it's very costly if he loses this fight.
He should fight, fighters with the same style like Deontay Wilder and he should fight in the US, but let's see I won't bet against Tyson here, for obvious reason.

6835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the end, the developer who made the token becomes junk! on: August 22, 2019, 05:11:36 PM
now prize hunters face a harsh reality .. that most projects end in fraud and some of them might make a profit but not big, on the other hand the bounty hunter must also be patient to wait for their tokens to be listed on the exchange or at least have a sale value in the market ...
but seeing the unstable market situation, it is also very risky for new tokens generated from the project. Why?
because it all depends on the project developer !!!
I see that many developers no longer care about their project work map and if the developer cannot run their project correctly, the token will become junk !!!
It really depends on the developer, this is the reason why the reputation of the developer should be one of the factors, his last project, who he is and the composition of the team that he builds.
There are so many fake and photoshopped personality being included to the team composition, they make up the expertise and the credentials.
We're lucky that we have good members of the community, who are doing extensive research on every project that does ICO
6836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 22, 2019, 04:57:31 PM
I think that Binance will go bankrupt soon because if hacker attacks and scandals with users database. That is why I want to know what exchange is better to use. I know that changelly is good, but I don't know about them a lot/ Do you know it? What do you think about

You are the only guy who posted that, I don't think they will go bankrupt because there are attacks on their platform, they have already addressed this issue, and it's not something to be alarm. Binance is as strong as ever they have introduced a lot of innovation and they have enough funds to employ the best security
If you are looking for options there are a lot of good exchange like kucoin, livecoin, and Eterbase

6838  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Would it be legal to create new crypto? on: August 22, 2019, 03:57:09 PM
I am from India and bitcoin is not illegal here nor it is regulated.Reserve Bank, the central bank, says it is still watching bitcoin revolution www.indiabitcoin.com/reserve-bank-of-india-governor-raghuram-rajan-speaks-about-bitcoin/ .
My question is if I create a cryptocurruncy (Some new Alt coin),will I be doing something illegal? Can I be put behind bars for creating a parallel currency,if it gets widely accepted?

You already said that Bitcoin is not illegal in your country, so you can create a new Crypto, but using it and marketing it is a different story, you should read and adopt the implementing rules of your government, that is getting a license to operate your coin and products and services attached to it.
You are ok and safe if you are compliant, you should also check about the rules and regulations about crowdfunding if you prefer to launch an ICO.
6839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do or Die for ETH on: August 22, 2019, 12:36:59 PM
There is no doubt about ethereum, despite the difficulties in its growth, but it is very convincing that ethereum will rise again and make a lot of investments and hold it up to this time will receive the blessings. I believe that.

We have the same belief and this belief has a foundation, check out this article
https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

It compared the hodling of 2017 and 2019 and, Ethereum has an issue for scalability but they are now working on resolving it and once resolve it will fuel growth in terms of demand and profit.

People should not give up Ethereum that easy, it's still the second top coin in the market,  although the demand it is slowly going down, there's still a huge change for growth and wave of demand.
6840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: August 22, 2019, 11:01:35 AM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today... https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest

I'm surprised and at the same time confuse at you post you posted this article link that stated
Quote
Conclusion
Putting a price on Ethereum is not as straightforward as it may seem. Ethereum represents the future of technology and has evolved by leaps and bounds in the past two years. Though there is a huge difference between Ethereum and Bitcoin, Ethereum has wider potential and drives more adoption than Bitcoin. The coin has strong fundamentals and is working on resolving its scaling issues, this may fuel its growth in 2020.

It never says that Ethereum is going for extinction or it's losing its appeal to investors and supporters but you are super happy that you swapped all your eth to Bitcoin, is this a good move I don't see it is, Investors should and must include Ethereum to their portfolio, like what is written in the article
