6841  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Different Wallets have Different Exchange Rates? on: September 20, 2015, 08:08:07 AM
I  think, all the exchanges having interconnected between them and the rate was determined by the supply of those exchanges and they've to equalize the rates?

i think it's equalized by itself in the sense that the internal demand will adjust itself by viewing the other rate on other exchange, so at the end the volume matter relatively, the demand will be around the same, it is forced to be the same actually...

the price in different exchangers would equalize because if it doesn't then the volume would quickly shift to the one with the different price and then this volume increase would adjust the price automatically.
6842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Adoption on: September 20, 2015, 05:50:26 AM
very few people in the world have any or truly understand what it is yet. Mainstream Adoption is a dreamlike for future and will take a few years yet.

yeah, in comparison to other assets , bitcoin is practically a toddler . so in order to go mainstream it has to grow much bigger than it has already. besides i think there are some faults in the system which needs fixing before anything big can happen.
6843  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2015, 05:47:53 AM
I spent a really large amount of Bitcoin back in 2012 when 1 BTC was worth a bit under $100. My transaction was worth a couple hundred dollars if we used the more recent Bitcoin prices.

Though, I've heard of some early adopters of Bitcoin spend thousands of them to purchase some things back in 2009 to 2010.

yeah, this is my worst fear . on one hand i don't want to spend my coins at all to save up as much as i can so when the price goes up i can have bigger profit.
but on the other hand i want to spend them and also there is always the possibility of price going down. so i am stuck in between and just holding Smiley

Yeah, holding's a good idea, but sometimes I'd hold them for a while, then see something I really want to buy, then spend my Bitcoins on it. In the end, I don't really hold much, but oh well, I s'pose.

that is my plan, at least for the time being. i am planning to hold at least until next year to see how the market is going to be like in the year 2016 and most of all i want to see the effect of block halving on the price which will happen mid 2016.
6844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Different Wallets have Different Exchange Rates? on: September 20, 2015, 05:44:59 AM
$2-3 is such a small value that it can even be because of the update speed of their API. the market is changing and they might update the price with delay in the wallet to lower the pressure.
6845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: September 20, 2015, 05:27:43 AM
Sometimes I play on dice site but is just for fun, not for get a profit

I only bet on sports some times but not regularly. So for so good but try to avoid doing these most of the time

where do you go for your sports betting. i mean your favorite place for it. i ask this because i became interested in betting on sports recently but i don't have a place for doing it yet.
6846  Economy / Gambling / Re: VOTE! What is the best bet size for you? on: September 20, 2015, 04:51:48 AM
minimum bet size at most of the gambling places (at least the famous Dice sites) is the smallest possible which is 1 satoshi and i also choose this amount because it is very nice and small so you can bet and lose it without any worries.
6847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2015, 04:33:48 AM
Hi! Cheesy

I recently created a thread asking for the best methods of gaining free Bitcoin.

Most popular results:
  • Signature Campaign (High Paying)
  • Faucets (Low Paying)
  • Trading (Variable)

Now, I'm asking a different question.
What are your best methods of growing Bitcoin.

Only refer to safe investments!

Thanks

Currently i'm joining and investing on some hyip programs. Hopeful I won't get scammed.

The chance to be scammed is around the 110%. So just don't do it.

it is just a risk / reward ratio that you have to consider. i have tried some of these hyip thingies before.
you can think of it as a gamble with terrible chance of winning but with big rewards.
i wouldn't recommend it to anybody but if you want to try it , do it with small amount that you can afford to lose just like gambling.

6849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bulltards are about to face their punishment: $215 by Monday on: September 20, 2015, 04:14:32 AM
if past is any indication, then price will go to $225 and nothing less and then rise up again in the next week. anyways these changes are nothing that you open a prediction thread and claim it.

p.s. it is worth mentioning that price has not gone below $230 yet Cool
6850  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100% correct price predictor. on: September 20, 2015, 04:07:43 AM
Ok fair warning folks. I am buying tomorrow. Price will probably go down this weekend...

lol, as long as the "go down" and "rise ups" that happen because of your luck are in range of $5 i think we are safe.
6851  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to get highest free BTC? on: September 20, 2015, 04:05:16 AM
The only free cheese is in the mouse trap. Be careful when people offer you something for nothing, as they may be trying to trap or cheat you

not every free thing is a trap though, there are a lot of free giveaways on the internet that is just happening by generous people just to get newer people involved with cryptocurrency.
6852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: September 20, 2015, 04:02:54 AM
if you need 1 year to get 1BTC it is very easy. just playing signature campaign.
you should ask, how earn 1BTC within 1 month, I wanted to see if many of those who make 1 BTC in 1 month Smiley

that's my goal to earn 1 btc a month with signature campaign+faucets+investing and a little bit of gambling. i also want to trade but i am quite not sure because i have no experiences on it before. hopefully to earn 1 btc by the end of the month ( current balance is 0.3 btc +)
Another option is by trading but that carries significant. Unless you know what you are doing and having experience, the best way is still providing service and participate in signature campaigns

learning how to trade is not that hard. especially since you just need a very small amount of bitcoin to start trading altcoins, it becomes easy. many exchangers require only 10000 satoshi trades which make experimenting easy.
6853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most profitable type of gambling? on: September 19, 2015, 06:08:53 PM
i personally would prefer poker, mostly because i like playing it. so as the result of this i had the most profitability from playing poker in comparison to other games that i have played so far.

and i also agree with my top comments about sports betting too. although i am not so good at it but i feel like that betting on sports have a better profit.
6854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Officially a Commodity in the U.S. on: September 19, 2015, 05:44:18 PM
soon enough US is going to be emptied out of any sort of bitcoin businesses and all the other countries are going to be pioneers in this future Commodity!
6855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: September 19, 2015, 05:32:53 PM
Not for a price increase, 1BTC = 1BTC.

Most people don't share your mindset. They still care about what a single bitcoin would be in terms of dollars.  Roll Eyes

what does 1BTC = 1BTC even mean?Huh??

every object has a price, and that price can be evaluated with something else which is usually fiat. so i don't see what is wrong with the mindset to care about bitcoin in terms of dollars.

It means that it dosent matter how much it worth in fiat .
Take this forum for example , there is a Donate page if you donate 10 or 50 BTC you will become either VIP or Donator member , and this forum exists for years . theymos decided to leave it with the current 10 - 50 BTC because it dosen't matter how much it worth in USD or Euro or any other currency , some people donated when it was worth few cents and some people are donating now when it worth thousands of dollars.

this is true if you want to use bitcoin as a nerdy tool to just play around. but if bitcoin were to be used as a currency for day to day uses like for example paying your rent, your paying your bills then you can not say that it doesn't matter.
the gas company will not take 10BTC if it is worth a few cents.

They would if we treat 1BTC as 1BTC
I mean look to the Dollar right now , what's the real value of 100$ bill (not sure if such a bill exists) , it's nothing .. It's just a piece of paper but that piece of paper have value because we believe it does and nothing else.

define real value first.
isn't value of any object a simple comparison? yes it is a piece of paper but when it becomes a Medium of exchange (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium_of_exchange) then it lets the value of goods to be assessed and rendered in terms of the intermediary.
so i don't see how we can not put a value to bitcoin and consider it a currency. it is like saying 1 Euro is 1 Euro and you shouldn't think of it in terms of dollars.
6856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Internet early stage on: September 19, 2015, 05:18:35 PM
Due to Bitcoin has received more venture capital investment than internet in its early stage ($362 vs $250), do you think this could be significant to say bitcoin will be totally success?

i don't think that this is a completely true reason. and also don't think that it would necessarily lead to success of bitcoin.
but i do believe that bitcoin is yet to grow and will have brighter future in a couple of years but whether or not it will stay around for longer than that depends on how much successful it can be in this first steps.

6858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What features of Bitcoin would you never give up? on: September 19, 2015, 05:06:17 PM
if bitcoin were to change or be replaced, i would never give up features like decentralization, Pseudonymous, and the speed of the transactions.
the only thing that i wish to see change, is the time it takes for transactions to get confirmation.
6859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Realistically does bitcoin have any competition ? on: September 19, 2015, 04:59:53 PM
there always is going to be competition for any technology that is good and new. but as far as bitcoin and all the other altcoins are concerned i don't see any near competition going on.

i mean there are a couple of altcoins that are considered TOP Altcoins but they are week competitors for bitcoin.
6860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good Mobile Wallet? on: September 19, 2015, 04:56:40 PM
Blockchain.info is best wallet for everyone.i think everyone should use this online wallet it will never deleted if your mobile format.

blockchain.info is known for its bugs. I don't think why people still choose it as their main wallet? Huh There are other alternatives like Xapo which offers reliability and ease of use. Smiley
I'm still using blockchain.info since i know bitcoin And i also use exchanger too as my main wallet Cheesy
Why i still choose blockchain may be because easy to use

you are using two bad options as your wallet.
using an exchanger as main wallet is the worst option that you could have chosen. because you don't even have access to your own private keys. so if the exchanger decides to close your account or even runs away, then you are screwed.
