6841  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Private key (privkey) hunters - unite! on: May 03, 2019, 11:13:31 AM
It's now May 1 2019, anybody still hunting BTC private keys?

Maybe there are people still hunting, but I gave up in 2017.  Grin

@Flangler  - Not pointless? Well I do hope you have enough computing power, and the lotto comparison? Nah, finding a BTC private keys is way more difficult so the odds is far more difficult as compare to winning a lotto.
6842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Jacobs on: May 03, 2019, 10:55:40 AM
Here's the updated odds for this fight courtesy of nitrogensports

Canelo Alvarez -452
Daniel Jacobs +354

This means if I placed $100 to Canelo Alvarez, it will return to me at $122.12. While if I placed $100 to Daniel Jacobs, it will return at $454. Notice on my old post the odds are slightly different -382 for Canelo Alvarez and +301 Daniel Jacobs.

Nice odds for the winner but if you are convince that Canelo's opponent stands no chance, you can take that free money.
You'll earn 22% of your bet amount, it's already good betting on the heavy favorites and would be better if you put a decent amount on it.

Good odds, but I think there will be more spread as the fight gets closer. 22% is not that bad, but it's a big risk-reward ratio. For me this fight will be close as well. Not willing to take the risk on Jacobs though, but for those boxing/gambling fans, this is a good opportunity to make money while enjoying and getting entertain.
6843  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-03] Bitcoin Set To Get Back Above $5,500 As The Market Bulls Resurge on: May 03, 2019, 03:23:03 AM
Why not? The price is sitting at around $55++ now, just a few hundred dollars to $5700 so definitely it's doable. So it's just a matter of time, the big question though, what will going to happen after we touch $5700? will it sustain it's growth? Or speculators will book some profits in the weekends? Let's see how it goes, we could be around $5700-$5900 right now if not for that Bitfinex and Tether drama that somewhat affected the price last week. Smiley
6844  Economy / Speculation / Re: the increase in the price of bitcoin is getting better. on: May 03, 2019, 03:13:13 AM
we all can see for ourselves at the beginning of 2019 until now the price of bitcoin seems to always experience a good price increase, but if at the end of 2019 the price of bitcoin can reach $ 50000, what do you think?

As much as we all wanted to see that price at the end of 2019, it's not possible, in my opinion. First, you need to understand where should all the money would come? Second, we don't want to see artificial and inorganic rise in the price, because we all know that once we bubbled again, the price could soon drop as fast as it goes up. So much better to see the price gradually increase, maybe in the 5 digits at the end of 2019, and then continue it's rise in 2020 because of the hype on block halving.
6845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 03, 2019, 02:59:46 AM
Guys, Federer will not play French open, he simply doesn't want to spend his energy on clay. It is most demanding surface (physically) and his worst. He is enjoying 6 weeks of holidays before giving his best on grass part of the season. He always choose his tournaments carefully and older he gets he will remove more and more tournaments so he can give his best on the ones he is playing.

Yeah the chances of him playing this year's French Open is slim, but we can't  discount the possibility that he "might" enter this year. Yes it's demanding and this is like his weakness but then again we wanted to see him and maybe win this tournament even for the last time. He is very selective and that is good so that we can see him play more tennis. But this tournament could be a final nail in his storied career if he ever win this year.

I just read article about Nadal in local newspaper which shortly referenced that Nadal will be playing Madrid next weak and they wrote that Federer will be in the Madrid as well. If that is true and not some sort of typo/mistake then I have been wrong and Federer will surly play French open.

I think Federer is going to play as I read an article in the Australian media that Federer is planing on playing this clay court season as he feels his body is right to play. Like I mentioned in my last post, it has been his back that has been putting him off playing the clay court season so I guess he feels that his back is 100% right to play. Its going to be an amazing tournament with all the top name players playing, now we will see what Thiem is made of coming up against all these top players.

Right, he already confirmed it so I'm sure he feels healthy this time and could be preparing for this tournament as early as two months ago. I think the top players will win this trophy again. I don't see anyone close to at least upset someone as this stage. We have a lot of good upcoming talents, but this is the big stage, wherein the top players love to show their prowess. I don't know if Thiem can replicate his performance this year, but we will see, it's going to be a big test for him and proved that he is really a clay court specialist as well.
6846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading discussion on: May 03, 2019, 02:48:48 AM
It's already 2019, stay away from this kind of "game" because of the risk involved  and in the end you will likely lose everything. I won't even consider this as trading, more likely gambling because you are putting a bet of future prices. If I'm in the OP shoes, I will consider trading as more viable way of making money here, at least you can mitigate your risk, minimize your lost and will learn a lot that will make you a better trader and obviously can produce more money for your in the future.
6847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NYPD: Bitcoin thieves posing as government officials have stolen over $2M on: May 03, 2019, 02:39:03 AM
Different sorts of phone scams are pretty popular in my country, but I've never heard of any that involve cryptocurrencies. I find it hard to understand why people would believe they need to transfer their BTC anywhere to solve social security issues. It's easier to believe these things when it comes to fiat, but why would official charge anything not in the official currency? $2M is a significant amount of money. I am sorry people lost that much. I hope it will be possible to track these scammers down. After all, phone calls are traceable at least to a certain extent, right?
Thanks for sharing important info, op.

Yes, a lot of phone/sms scams have been popular in my country as well. They will send you sms saying that you won this xxx,xxx amount but before you can claim it, you have to deposit something. And many still fall for that kind of trap and those scammers take millions of dollars to unsuspecting victim up to this day.

I don't know if they can track them though, usually they will just buy pre-paid sim cards and once they've scammed people, they disposed the sim card and buy a new one to continue. So everyone needs to be very careful specially in cryptosphere.

Thanks for the update man, but it looks like the competition is tough with Nadal, Djokovic, Zverev and Dominic Thiem on the line. And just imagine if Federer was able to win this tournament and steam roll those players or at least some of them, then the whole French Open landscape will change.
6849  Economy / Economics / Re: New recession is around the corner on: May 02, 2019, 01:22:30 PM
LOL, I was expecting a more serious discussions about the recession because I've experience it in 2008 specially after the Lehman Brother's drama, I'm not in the States but I got laid off because of the effects on the world economy. And then you says that recession is around the corner because everyone was disappointed with the so much hype on movies and television shows?

I don't know if they are saving money, but the people behind, the production company has so much money to begin with, and I don't think they will be affected by the recessions. Only mid level companies and regular people like you and me will be moved, so we need to prepare for the worst.

Competition is very though as well and it's really difficult to survived in this cut-throat business. Do you have your official ANN thread though? If not then you have to create one so that you will get the exposure you needed for your project. May I know what solutions you thinking to offer? I think you need to check some spelling as well, "Fast Respon Support"?. It doesn't look professional if you can't even spell correctly, just sayin'.
6851  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuxBets.io 💎💎💎 The New Bitcoin Hype 💎💎💎 Winners Every 15 Minutes! on: May 02, 2019, 12:52:38 PM
I don't know where you from, but our local lottery tickets here is just around $1.0-$2.0 and you can win bigger jackpot. Much better to try it lower and see if gamblers will take a bite out of this new lottery in town. So far no tickets has been bought and one factor here is the expensive ticket price.
6852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Slot Tournament on: May 02, 2019, 12:35:01 PM
But some are in for the fun. For many, the design is a big thing to consider, especially that modern slots now are meant to be eye-catching and innovative in nature. Even if in dice you can control your chances of winning, dice can't give you the aesthetic appeal that most of the time only slots can provide — like this new game by Red Tiger Gaming called Vicky Ventura:

~ snip ~

I mean look at the features and the craftmanship there. It's meant not only to give prizes but also to entertain.

Of course with the advent of latest softwares, any online slot developer out there can really put a game that is so entertaining. But not only that, it was also meant to attract gamblers. As far as I know, they dig deeper on the psychology of gaming, the looks, the sounds, and the features, and importantly, the miss hits or miss bonus, LOL (I know, they supposed to be not doing it, but I don't know, I still doubt it,  Grin). Haven't try that game Vicky Ventura though, whether online or offline casinos, but it really looks cool and appealing.
6853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy apple iphone with the Bitcoin ? on: May 02, 2019, 12:26:44 PM
Is it possible to buy iphone with the bitcoin ?

Of course, but the question is, is it advisable though? For me it's much better to just convert your Bitcoin to Fiat and then just go the nearest Apple store. Less headache, instead of shopping around the web wherein there are just few options right now to buy them with your Bitcoin.

Is apple accepting bitcoin in future for the purchase of Iphone?

It boils down as to what incentives they will get in they start to accepts Bitcoin as payment method. Volatility is one concern of merchants right now so I guess it will take years for Apple to fully accommodate Bitcoin, IMHO.
6854  Economy / Marketplace / Re: i made my one and only bhc transaction and lost it all on: May 02, 2019, 12:12:30 PM
Talk about it on youtube video here.I have no choice but to drop the case and disappear myself to but i leave this here for the next victim

https://youtu.be/7j2eROKpoRo

Video not available? I guess you got the answer your answer from Coinbase. Well they can get that info because they can see it in their transaction logs. The question is how did you send a BCH to a BTC address? Anyways, you just have to charge this one to experience and hope that you don't do the same mistakes again.
6855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-04-02] Russian Gazprom to use blockchain technology on: May 02, 2019, 11:27:54 AM
The question is, do they really need blockchain technology, or just a centralized database to store all their pertinent data? I have nothing against companies implementing Blockchain because it is the "it" thing right now. But I just noticed that everyone is riding on the bandwagon as well and it the end if may not be as effective as they have anticipated and will try to roll back everything to a system wherein they are comfortable, just like a simple DB to manage everything.
6856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CryptocurrencyTrading Platform-any advice? on: May 02, 2019, 04:38:11 AM
this is already very good and I am happy with this launch, and I hope that it will always be successful in the future, and I will participate in it.

Did you read what the OP says? It's not yet live, he/she is looking for developers.

As @mjglqw, you need to find good developers and you should customized it according to what you really wanted to see in your exchange. And it involves huge capital to begin with so I hope you are really ready. Not just money but the time as well. Best of luck !!!
6857  Economy / Economics / Re: Asset multiples at highest since two previous global crashes on: May 02, 2019, 04:31:21 AM
It's pretty obvious that economics, huge investors and other personalities would brand Bitcoin as a bubble because they haven't seen this kind of meteoritic rise in human history. But if you are going to compare it to previous bubble, then definitely it's not the biggest. As shown in the graph, stocks is will continue to bubble. But then again, they wouldn't attack it negatively, because that's there bread and butter, specially Warren B.
6858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Crypto currencies in our country. on: May 02, 2019, 04:20:48 AM
I thought that eGiveCash at Security Bank ATM is no longer an option?

"Outlet is temporarily unavailable. Please visit https://status.coins.ph for live updates."

Anyways, Philippines is really a haven for cyrpto enthusiast. You can even buy Bitcoins at our local 7-11 stores. But adoption though is slow, we need more online and off line stores to accept Bitcoin as mode of payment.

6860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tech Savvy Student Steals $7.5 Million in Cryptocurrency on: May 01, 2019, 05:37:22 PM
I'm not surprised by his skill but by the few targets in which he managed to steal $7.5 million worth in crypto from. I mean, who are these people he stole from? Are they some sort of high-profile individuals and didn't notice that they have been robbed?
That is the interesting part. He must have carefully analyzed these particular individuals over a specific period of time and performed the theft in a smart manner without anyone noticing until now.

Just like any criminals out there, they usually "case" their victims, stalking them for weeks or even months and then take that one shot to steal your money under your nose.

They acquired $400k from him and it looks like the rest has already been spent or well hidden. Good riddance.

Yeah, good riddance. He has the talents, unfortunately, he didn't put it to good use but instead chooses the life of a criminal and now he is behind bar.
