At least a transaction id will help so that we can track it out about the payment.

P.S.

I haven't seen any incoming payment in my wallet as well.
6882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what if faced with such a situation and what your backup plan is on: March 05, 2018, 05:01:35 PM
whether you have a backup plan if you are involved in trade issues, such as significant price reductions or down too far, and there are two options that exist in your view between holding or selling them, each having different risks, holding back and expecting prices to back to normal but I think it will take a long time or sell it and accept the loss and then buy it back with the sales you have generated.
maybe you some better advice you can give me.
i appreciate everyone's opinion.

Personally, I have one tokens whose price magically dropped and I quickly lost $1K. Its not that much, but I have work hard for that money and its seems I made the wrong made here. However, I just decided to give it more time so I will hodl because I don't want to accept the loss and I still believe that it can co bigger in the next couple of month.

The only advise I can give to you is to just waited it out for a few months and see how it goes. Another option that I see is that you sell today accept the loss then re-invest it on other coins and see if you can recover.

Again, my case is different because I still see bigger things from my investments that's why I decided to hold up to now. Otherwise I would just dump it today and put it on other coins.
6883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 be better than 2017 for bitcoin on: March 05, 2018, 04:35:03 PM
Yes, we are expecting some huge growth in terms of community because the price will increase only when people are showing interest towards bitcoin. Meanwhile, USA SEC mentioned in media they are very positive about the Bitcoin but they want to safeguard the investors. So this most exciting news and Bitcoin price will increase in the year for sure.
Hopefully it will, but I feel there are some powerful hands in the market already who will always want to control the price from not getting out of hand. That may be a guess or assumption which is the reason I said it is my feelings. There is a lot of development going on and with the way things are so far, I won't be surprised seeing us test the previous top at least before the end of the year, but I would rather stick to that first than expecting too much.

2017 was one of the years with a huge bull run and the same way no one saw it coming in 2017 is the same way no one can assume anything that would happen now. Bitcoin would remain strong and that is all that matters and looking at the chart now with the little bit of change in trend and hoping we keep that in play, then I expect things to obviously get better in the long run. Where we would reach is beyond what anyone can know, so we just wait for time to give us that.

Correct, that's why I don't like to put a high expectations for this year. Its seems that when the price has started to took off, some mysterious entities from behind will work their magic to pull the price down. Today it looks like the price is gaining steam, but those powerful hands decided its time to crash the party and control it again, I'm sure they would love to do it so that they can bought at cheap price.

I wanted to see bitcoin grow this 2018 but I wouldn't expect the same growth we witness last year. This year would be great if we get at least $30K, but with too much manipulations, personally $20K will be much acceptable, in my view.
6884  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKex trading website withdrawal question.. on: March 05, 2018, 04:16:48 PM
I deposit some token to sell on okex and after selling it I verified my account and waited for 1 day to wait so I can withdraw my BTC. But suddenly I can't, because the balance of my bitcoin on withdraw tab show's "0" when in fact I have a bitcoin balance on it.

Do you guys experienced like mine?
same, but my balance is also a lot, but when in witdraw balance form shows 0. huh
Im trying to resolve this and I'm looking a way to withdraw my funds on this okex platform. I have read on some social medias about the bad reviews about other that had the same problem like us.

Aw. I haven't deposited any of my tokens in OKEx however, when I verified everything, email, SMS. And then the next day I tried to login again, but it seems they disabled my account. I'm glad that I didn't deposited all my tokens because I thought that this exchanges is a good option.

Sadly, I was disappointed so I guess I had to found another trusted exchanges.

It's really frustrating for someone to withdraw your funds but you have to wait for it even for a day or two.
6885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in Bitcoin Diamond BCD? on: March 05, 2018, 04:00:41 PM
Currently, Bitcoin Diamond doesn’t provide the necessary development source code for exodus which provides a smooth experience for crypto users. BCD is controlled by an anonymous Bitcoin Diamond Foundation whose registration information and whereabouts remain unknown. Moreover, BCD has an anonymous and unproven development team. This makes it extremely difficult to pledge support for the coin. Even though BCD seems to be performing quite well on several exchanges where it is listed, there isn’t enough information on the crypto for cautious investors to go forward with.

I'm not familiar with it but if this is the case as you have describe it then as investors I would doubt if you are willing to partake because of the lack of support from development team. I would rather put my money on other altcoins such as Ethereum which has a proven track record already.

And its strange if the price difference along exchanges are that high, although we have seen this kind of pattern before even to bitcoin and take advantage of it thru arbitrage. But I agree that we need to be very cautious right now. The people behind might be pumping to look as if people are really investing to it, but in reality its just artificial growth.
6886  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-05] New Malaysian Cryptocurrency Regulation Come Into Effect on: March 05, 2018, 03:42:52 PM
Glad that Malaysia is now implementing a regulation instead of banning cryptos. I consider this another win for us. I think this is similar to what the Philippines has done last year. The Philippine government requires its exchanges to have a KYC in compliance with the AML. And so far its been successful as bitcoin continues to soar not just in Philippines or Malaysia or Asia but in the rest of the world.

We all know that crypto are the new revolution that will shape the economics of every country around the world. And Malaysia is doing the right thing by joining this financial revolution.
6887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Critical week for Bitcoin on: March 05, 2018, 09:51:18 AM
I also read a couple of articles about current bitcoin resistance level. What most of them say is current resistance if bitcoin can brake then it can go high or it will again go back to 10K level. But this may not be completely true so just wait and see. I believe now on bitcoin should go slowly higher not lower.

Critical resistance is $2K. It looks like that we are just a few hundred dollars and then let see how it goes. I will like to get it at a slow phase. I don't want to see that kind of process that we witnessed during December madness.

So anything can still happen, it we did not go pass $12K then there will be a lot of dumping because investors will lose confidence again.

Critical week for Bitcoin..Different Crypto are succeeding trading against Bitcoin, while most are failing. Expecting much this week

I also read some articles about it.seems Critical week for Bitcoin. I expect almost $16k+. what do you think? but in Bitcoin, there is no perfect prediction.

$16K? I don't think so.  I suggest you don't expect too much so that you will not be disappointed if ever we didn't get there. I'm very bullish, however, I don't see bitcoin breaking $15K-$16K this week. More likely $12K is the likely barrier that we need to overcome.
6888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin after Chinese holiday on: March 05, 2018, 06:16:02 AM
China has broken up with bitcoin, they are no longer connected with bitcoin after the rules that made on 30 November ago since then until now nothing has changed with the decision.
So clearly whatever happens there doesn't at have any effect on bitcoins.

The only connection that they have is the bitcoin mining monopoly. They still command more than 60% of all the bitcoins mined. However, since they severe their ties to bitcoin since last year. They effect has already dwindled and Japan took over.

I can't say for sure if there are connections. But it looks like someone is really pumping everything, including altcoins. Great to see bitcoin testing the waters of $12K. And it this is something related to the end of Chinese New Year because they are trying to recovering all the expenses they spent during the holiday, then its good news for us.

We believe good support is second only to security and endevour to answer your queries as quickly as possible.

And I'm looking at their TOS as well and per Contact Information the email is support@coinexchange.io.

If they are not answering for more than a month now I guess you may have been a victim of a scam here.

Sad though there are wolves among the sheep here this is one drawback with no central authority to overlook and resolves every issue we might encounter. No guarantee and its the risk that we have to take.
6890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The environmental problem on: March 05, 2018, 05:19:33 AM
Hello. I was thinking about bitcoin disadvantages, and I just realized how bad the bitcoin was for the environment. We are literally destroying the planet with mining. And it will get worse and worse.
I think, if we want the bitcoin to be a viable money we have to solve this problem. I was thinking about green energy.
What do you think about this problem, and how could we fix it?

This is now the new mode of attacks from those who are hostile to bitcoin. Now the fight is taken to the next level and its seems that those against it and eco friendly now. How pathetic.

But there was one article saying that Japan GMO will built a mining hardware that will consumed less electricity and they are even thinking of using solar panels as well.

https://news.bitcoin.com/japanese-electricity-company-uses-excess-solar-power-crypto-mining/

So I guess the next arguments against bitcoin will be coming from WWF (World Wildlife Fun) because of the "whales" roaming and manipulating the market.  Grin

6891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Struggles to Pass $11K Amid Low Volumes on: March 03, 2018, 01:44:56 AM
~snip

OP, I see the technical analysis other way around. The resistance is 11,800 while the support line is 9K USD. During this trend the volume is slowly building up to break the resistance 1. For the next one week performance I am expecting this to reach the 12K USD mark.

What I think is this would be the perfect time to invest technically speaking. Uptrend and building a box shape a perfect combination added with the Fibonacci retracement, I’m 100% sure that a lot of expert traders are excited at this moment.

Yes, I agree, resistance should be around $11,700 as this is the last mental barrier we reach before we suddenly went down ward. Currently, the momentum is building as we have breached $11200 based on the data from coinmarketcap. But then I hope we can sustain it the third time around, and march towards $12K and cut in like a bladed knife.

Yes, I'm excited to see things just now and its going to be critical if we go and move to $11,700 again and inching closer to the $12K barrier. So let see how it goes for the next coming days.
6892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: March 03, 2018, 01:29:47 AM
Hello community,

I have heard some reports that 'someone' has put $1 million on Bitcoin being $50,000 before the end of 2018 and other conflicting reports that Bitcoin is a bubble that is going to burst. I understand this is very much a time will tell kind of question and some may argue that the press has said bitcoin is  going to burst/fail since it came out but look at it now... and I understand there may be at least a chance it could be worth $1 million in the future.

What I am asking is what are the big Bitcoin holders thoughts on this are they bailing or are they holding for the long hall, if they are holding can 'The Bitcoin Bubble' really still burst?

I have most of my eggs riding in this crazy but attractive world and would really appreciate inside feedback.

Thanks for reading  Shocked Cool Huh Undecided

You can checked this thread, Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time?. There are plenty of good arguments in it so I suggest you go and read it.

Personally, bitcoin is a bubble specially when there are a lot of irrational buyers coming in and pumping the price to greater heights and then it will burst suddenly. However, it going to be a continues cycle, bubble has been burst, and then recovery began, another pump started pushing to another all-time-high. So that is the pattern. But its really hard to compare bitcoin to let's say the tulip mania, because it never did recover, even the dotcom bubble as well. Bitcoin on the other hand shows resiliency, able to comeback and goes even further from its previous all-time-high.
6893  Economy / Speculation / Re: DID YOU THINk BITCOIN CAN REACH 500K IN THE END OF THIS YEAR on: March 03, 2018, 12:38:31 AM
For my opinion will not can reach this price i can beilve i will pump till 30k . And i have to know Do you believe John McAfee is right about Bitcoin hitting $500,000 in 3 years?
It’s interesting that almost all existing analysis of cryptoassets are from the point of view of fundamentals (or lack thereof). It’s often useful to look at things quantitatively instead.

So here, what we really want to understand is the probability of bitcoin reaching $500,000. There are a few ways to do that.

My way is  we can assume a completely random process and take a “gambler’s ruin” perspective. What is the probability that a random process will hit $500,000 before it hits $0? Given that the price as of end 15 dec 2017 is about $23,000, we’d get $23.000/$500,000 = 5%.

I wouldn't put too much on what John McAfee is saying. He has been very bullish about bitcoin and most of his coins of the day are shitcoins anyways, and John trying to pump it because I'm sure that he has already stash tons of it and will take the profits if his dumb twitter followers will also bought it.

$50K for me is possible this year. It will be like x5 at $10K price so I don't think that it will be that hard to touch that at the end of the year.

But $500,000 in 3 years? I don't know. There will be so much factors needed to be at the exact moment to see at least $100K in the future. Let's cross that bridge when we come to it.
6894  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pundix bounty - the best scam ICO of the year on: March 02, 2018, 11:54:34 PM
You dont even proofs to tell it is a scam.
Your impatience is just why it looks likes a scam to you.
Better look at telegram again for pinned post there cause it is already updated.
Maybe that is why there is still no response with your thread is because of lack of proof.

You hit it on the target mate. I have been in bounties wherein we needed to wait for a little longer because the dev is doing something on the background. But we didn't call it a scam because they have been in constant contact with us throughout the ordeal and our tokens are all delivered on time.

I guess the OP should wait and have more patience, this is not the first time that such delays have been witnessed. Actually I bet that 90% of those bounties are late in delivering but only few called out that project a scam. Only those who are greedy and doesn't have the patience like the OP above.
6895  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Singapore will not ban cryptocurrency on: March 02, 2018, 11:28:45 PM
I think in the absence of a ban on bitcoin in Singapore is certainly a positive thing for bitcoin growth in Asia, we even know if Singapore is a country with great potential to legalize bitcoin, because Singapore is a country that has rapid economic progress among other countries in Southeast Asia

What do you mean rapid economic progress? Singapore is already on top in Asia way ahead of its neighbors and are now at the feet of superpowers Japan, China and South Korea. So it will be really welcoming to the region if Singapore will joined the boat as well.

And with its young population and pure IT centric companies around, tapping crypto's and blockchain will be another step towards Singapore legitimizing itself as of the IT hubs not just in Asia but in the world. And again, I wouldn't be really surprised by all of this news about Singapore at least they have good leaders who truly look upon the future and will do anything that will contribute to make their country one of the superpowers in Asia.
6896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ETH Hit Important Structure on: March 02, 2018, 11:13:32 PM
After reaching all-time-high this year, Ethereum suddenly dip below and I think that $800-$900 will the correct price minus all the hype. Right now its having a hart time even touching $1K maybe that is a sign that its also a bubble by itself.

Yes, I agree with @rodalutor, resistance will be around $800 and I think its pretty solid although it fall behind that price it quickly recovered and bounce back, but $1K is a different level. Its comparable to $12K right now in bitcoin. So its gonna be a long way to go before we can see Ethereum going above $1K, in my opinion.
6897  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-02] AMD: GPU Business Could Take Hit If Crypto Miners Stop Buying on: March 02, 2018, 08:32:01 PM
They have been in the chip industry for a long time and now they are bitching about that they can be severely affected by crypto's? Demand is huge they ride the wave already I don't think they should complain how crypto brought a lot of money to them. Are they afraid that regulations will slow their business down?

They challenged Intel in the beginning of this millennial and was able to garner quite a good percentage from them and now they are afraid that a sudden change of air will make them suffer?

They are in a cut throat business and I know they can mitigate risk, similar to what Intel did when they challenged them for supremacy in the manufacturing and semicon industry.
6898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long- Term Poloniex account on: March 02, 2018, 08:04:30 PM
Hi guys,

I have a digibyte for long term investment. I've read in somewhere and it says Poloniex can block my account because of inactivity for long time.
Do you believe or know that is true?

And besides, Poloniex has been acquired by Circles so expect a lot of changes in the next coming months and be sure that you stay active otherwise there is a chance that you will lose your investment in there.

And as per Poloniex ToS

https://poloniex.com/terms/

Quote
29. UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
If Poloniex is unable to return your Tokens to a third party Account for you after a period of inactivity, Poloniex may report and remit the Tokens to an applicable government agency pursuant to applicable escheatment or unclaimed property laws.

Its doesn't says how long until they consider your account inactive but be sure to check your account and your investment from time to time. Or better yet transfer to another wallet just to be sure.
6899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: March 02, 2018, 07:45:05 PM
They say that bitcoin is the future of money. What do you think if we use bitcoin in everyday lives as a money? Like buying foods. Or buying clothes. Do you imagine it positively or negatively?

That's what the original vision of Satoshi, to used bitcoin as digital currency without third party involved. However, in the last couple of years, bitcoin has become a investment platform like store of wealth for big investors.

Of course I would like it to be like cash that we can used for our everyday lives, sadly though its not yet realized but I'm still positive that we can achieved that in the future.

So let see how it goes specially with Lightning Network already in the horizon. You can open channels from A to B and transaction will be quick and seamless.
6900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future? on: March 02, 2018, 06:49:04 PM
So guys, what do you think about investing in different icos? I think it's a good idea. We never know which will take the lead in the future. Please help me and give me good suggestions!

Investing in different ICO is really profitable but the questions is how to separate legit and trusted ICO from scammy one? Right now its really difficult because scammers are really that good in hiding their real intentions. Others suggest to look at the whitepaper and the team behind, but its really up to you. Do your own research.

I don't know if there are coins that going to overcome bitcoin. So far those who have attempted have failed, so I speculate if there are coins out there, its not born yet and the current breed for me will not have a chance against bitcoin.
