6881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 24, 2021, 12:34:24 PM
I might have to do some research on this subject. Seems like something you only see in the movies. I can’t recall ever hearing a real story of this happening on the news. Listening to how people describe lottery winners, it really does sound like more of a curse than a blessing.
Grin in my family my father along with his brothers actually buy lottery tickets a lot and once my uncle won a really good amount and he became senseless, although that amount didn't last long as he spent it on buying some useless cars planning to make a profit out of it by renting out cars, but the effect of a sudden surge of happiness is real, if I didn't see it I wouldn't have believed, more like hallucinations.
That is a sample of unmanaged winning money. I hope in the future, when your uncle wins a lot of money can manage his win money and do not spend on many things that it's not necessary for his life. It is better to prepare our life better, especially if we have a lot of money because we do not know what will happen in the future. The effect of happiness can make someone forget about the important thing that he needs to do, and I am sure that we do not want to lose control because of happiness.
6882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: March 24, 2021, 11:34:54 AM
makes a lot of sense with this possibility...
create stricter rules with the aim of getting more money from the results of the negotiations. Well, it looks like the lawmakers will live as corrupt as long as possible.
When it comes ti sponsorship, its quite hard to control who will be able to get the priviledged who will get the sponsorship. Sometimes in may countrythe official or governments said to be there are the one who sponsor the events but in fact it can be came from the gambling activities, its hard to control whenmoneyinvolved and when some officials are covering them.
Both of you are right, especially with the internet available in many places, that sponsorship can continue without any regulators or government knows. They can make an agreement in below of hands without anyone know. Even without the internet, the corrupt official can handshake with the other people without the government know. But if the government seriously eradicates or reduces the corrupt, they can contact the club owner and the shirt sponsorships to discuss more the agreement.
This is true for every single sector, you may think that business doesn't work that way because you never seen huge companies but I have worked for 2 corporations that were global (one of them is shell oil company you may have heard of that) and all of them pay governments a ton of money to basically do whatever they want and nothing happens to them.

I have seen them fire people without pay, I have seen them pay 3-4 months later than usual and people maxing their credit cards and working until they are paid, there are many other unethical stuff going on as well just because they pay the government officials. We are talking about government officials doing something illegal but also companies that pay them do illegal things in return to cover that difference as well. Long story short we are in a world where bad people get together to hurt good people.
Yes, I heard about the shell oil companies, but I never imagine if they did that with the government. No wonder if that company can enter many countries and play on the oil on that country. The government will protect their business and not let anyone disturb the agreement because that is related to a lot of money.

Fire people without pay do not make sense because they already work for their company. I think the owner needs to evaluate that because they can make a deal with the government and pay them with a lot of money, but they must think about their employee. Sooner or later, that case will be blow up, and there is only need a whistleblower to lift the case in the media. If the public can know that case, they will sue the clean officer or government to investigate the case. But that is happening in many countries and many businesses. Geez, the root of corruption is on many things.
6883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 24, 2021, 09:42:05 AM
The only question that I am confused with is that, what if the streamer won huge using that lent bank roll? Will they give him additional payment?
From what I've seen from many YouTubers that I watch who is being sponsored into various websites AFAIK they get to keep less than 5% of the amount they won. But surely it depends on the contract between the site owner and the content creator.
We do not know how much they won from that site because the contract will not show to the public, and only the Youtubers and the site will know. Maybe the streamer will use the other account to playing gambling on that site, so the public will not know if they win more or lose more. But I think the site pays the streamer with enough money to promote their site with good content to convince the audience.
6884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 24, 2021, 08:46:19 AM
It annoys many gamblers with the current increase in Bitcoin and Ethereum transaction fees, even though these two coins are the most popular
for playing gambling. But seeing the surging transaction fees going up, making gamblers look for other alternatives that have much cheaper
transaction fees. Read posts from members in this forum, most suggest using XRP, LTC and DOGE. I admit that the three coins not only have
cheap transactions, but has very fast transactions too. I've also started using XRP, LTC and DOGE to play gambling and have also made deposits
and withdrawals on gambling platforms.

That is why if a gambling site is not yet accepting any other cryptocurrency except BTC or ETH, more likely they will lose certain users. They need to accept altcoins with lower fees and faster confirmation rate so that gamblers will be given options for their maximum convenience and fun.

For example, I was betting with Futuur weeks ago and they only have BTC in their crypto options. The consistent request was to add more crypto options such as the ones you named so that gamblers will continue to use the platform.
But some of the gambling sites targets certain audience who can bet more means they are not going to care about paying 10 dollar as a transaction fee for their transaction to be confirmed but yeah it all depends on the casinos and who are their targeted players.
If the casino can add many altcoins as the option, that will benefit both sides, the casino and the members, because the members can deposit the coin they like. The casino will benefit from many gamblers that will register on their site because the casino gives more options on the altcoin as the deposit and withdrawal. I guess the casino is already aware of this, and they are trying to add more altcoin selection to gamble.
6885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BNB Miner pays 3% daily on: March 24, 2021, 07:01:16 AM
Is that almost the same as cloud mining? Somehow, I remember on one game called ore-mine or something like that a few years ago. The game is collecting satoshi and mining satoshi, but we must hire a worker to mining bitcoin and upgrade everything inside the game so we can be able to earn more reward.

I see it is almost the same as the game I mention in your game, but I am not sure about that. I tried to click the Hire Miners, but the button does not redirect to any page, is there any problem? Or did your website has a problem?

It is normal to see some members say it is suspicious because we already have a bad experience before, and many of us get scam by following or join in some programs.
6886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Adoption be possible? on: March 24, 2021, 05:58:57 AM

Do bitcoin adoption could happen?
What do you think?

Edit: Thanks to @dkbit98
We already see bitcoin adoption from a long time ago, but at that time, the adoption process is not fast as today. Today, we already see bitcoin has been accepted in some business industry such as hotel, casino, and especially in the online website as the payment method. We will see the growth of bitcoin adoption from this year, and sooner or later, bitcoin adoption will reach all countries, and people will be aware of this. The process of the adoption itself is still running, and whether now is fast or slow, the process is still running to give benefits for bitcoin to be known by them.
6887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Services of betting on your behalf on: March 24, 2021, 05:05:27 AM
Correct, while I understand the desire to win it does not make a lo of sense to let someone else to bet on your behalf, to begin with you are not going to learn anything something which is critical if you want to become profitable at sport bets, but then we need to consider why would anyone need your cash to make those bets? He could simply ask for a loan to a bank, make a fortune and then return the money to the bank plus the interest and then pocket the difference.
If he asks for a loan from a bank, that will be risky to him as he needs to verify many things, including verifying his address and his source income that can be a source to repay the loan. If he uses the other people's money, he does not need to verify and he can start to use their money to place the bets. It makes many scams happen out there because it is like a fast way to make money from people.
Yes but my point is that anyone that actually had a way to profit from sports bets does not need the money of anyone and could just ask for a loan if he is completely sure of the profits he can make, the few professionals that are out there can earn anything between 40% up to 80% of their capital in a year, which means that even if they had no capital they could ask for a loan, pay it back and keep the difference which should show you that most of those that want your money so they can gamble with it are most likely scammers, obviously that is not an optimal path either as loans come with interests but a professional gambler could pull it off.
That person is really a risk-taker because he always calculates how bigger his chance to make a profit and how much he can lose in some time. But the important thing here is that person can earn on such amount while the other people can not do that rather than getting lost the money. But if they can earn that money, maybe they do not need to take a loan from anyone because they can start with a small capital and slowly increase the money by making a profit. Maybe that will safer for that person if they can earn money by themselves instead of giving the money to a third party or other people.

~snip~

Like you, I used to naively believe that sooner or later the good guys would beat corruption. How very wrong I was. At present I am sure that the special services have long ago collected so much dirt on most of the people in power that they can be prosecuted and put behind bars for a long time at any time. Corruption is a lever to force the weaker players to play by the rules of the stronger players and protect their interests.
No, we are not wrong thinking like that because no matter if that is hard, I believe the corruption can get solved. But it would need a long time to solve the case one by one because corruption already happened a long time ago. And if the corruption can solve it could be related to the old corruption that has already happened, especially if it's related to the old officer involved in the corruption at that time. We as a citizen can only hope the corruption can get solved in the future.
6889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 23, 2021, 03:06:22 PM
I guess that all casinos need a bit of boosting to attract higher bets and more users. On this case, it seems that the streamer is kind of playing the role of the house with the houses money. Even if the practice is doubtful, it does not really seem illegal.

There is a similar trick from traders that would sell you their method. They open 10 or 20 accounts and they will only show you the ones that made outstanding results.
Well, that is how big businesses stay in the game, I mean you still see Coca-Cola doing their advertisement right? I think that it is justified because how are you going to attract other players when you advertise that the chances of winning in this casino is so low so you have to pay, you can't do that, you have to make it more attractive and as @paxmao has said, the streamer is playing a role in the advertisement.
Yes, the streamer plays a role in the advertisement, and the gambling website knows for sure. Even if they make a fake bet, the viewers will not know that unless the streamer tells them that material is only for education. So the streamer will make a good advertisement to attract more viewers to come and watch the ad, and the rest will be up to the audience or the viewer.
6890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategies best used to play plinko game on: March 23, 2021, 02:27:48 PM
Many people dream of making money from gambling, especially from their favorite gambling games. But many of them do not realize that it is impossible to make money in the gambling game as the gambling game needs to have luck. If they can calculate their chances between the win and the loss, they will see that the win money will not be bigger than the loss, and they will have a big opportunity to lose money. But we can not blame them if they want to play gambling still and trying to make money because that is their decision.
These people are either trying to dodge the responsibility of getting a job that guarantees a pay if they do the work or they want to try their luck because some people that they know focused on gambling and made a lot of money. Not to mention that when they list the wins with the losses, they are going to definitely notice a downward trend on their wins because gambling wasn't meant to make you money in the first place.
They see that gambling can give them a lot of money in one night, so they are still trying to gamble with limited money and do not try to search for a job and get an income from that job. Many gamblers do not make a list of the wins and the losses, so they still come back again to playing gambling. If they see the progress, they will regret what they've done, and they can realize if gambling is only getting loss of money.
6891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teams on your personal blacklist on: March 23, 2021, 01:51:32 PM
I do not have teams or athletes on my blacklist as I do not watch the sports very often. If I do not know about the team or the sportsmen, I will skip it and change the channel to watch the other entertainment. But I guess that will be difficult to choose as we need to be a fan of one type of sports or watch that sports, so we know which team or athletes do not have better skills. Maybe you do not have to watch the sports if you do not like the teams or athletes.
LOL Michellee I think you didn't understand what Hydrogen was talking about. He wasn't talking about watching sports LOL but about betting on them... There are some teams which are highly inconstant in their results and some of them could even be suspected of deliberately doing that to cheat and to get money from opposite bets.
I understand what Hydrogen was talking. Let me explain for a little.
If you place the bet for the team or athletes, you will want to watch them perform in the match, and you will not miss that. That is the first.
Second, if I do not have a blacklist team or athletes, I can watch or bet on any of them, but I will not watch them play and place the bet for them if I do not like them.
Third, I do not know much about sports betting, so if I place the bet or watch the match, I will watch or place the bet for the team or athletes I knew before.
So when you want to watch that match or place a bet, you should have knowledge or at least you know about that team or athletes because that is what you should have before you bet on them or watch them.
I hope you understand.
6892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 23, 2021, 01:35:18 PM
If we're going to join in the competitions while we are lone better, we can ask some of our friends to place the bet for us.
You don't want to ask your friends to place bets for you. I mean unless they are someone who is very chill with you, you should never tell anyone else to do it on your behalf. What if you lose big? Your "friend" is going to feel guilty or you will end up blaming him. What if you win big? You "friend" might think he deserve the win. Don't ever tell some random friend to place bets on your behalf.
I ask my friend to place bets for me but that is only for a friend that I really trust and we always share many things before. I do not select random friends to place the bets because I know how it feels to be betrayed by the wrong friend. To find that friend is hard, but that is worth it because if we can find the right friend, that is the best friend that will always be beside us whenever we are in a happy or sad moment.

I think betting with friends will give an exciting time for us because we can talk or trick them on the analysis or joke with them. When we gamble with them, I think the winner or loser will not be too important because I can enjoy our time with them. Maybe that is a competition between us, but that will be more fun if we want to spend our time together. If we're going to join in the competitions while we are lone better, we can ask some of our friends to place the bet for us.
I mean, that should count as a competitive one tbh. As long as some sort of argument was made even if you were friends, that should count as something like a competition, just that maybe it's a bit more on the lighter side since you're playing with your friends. Even with strangers, it should still count. As long as someone isn't an extreme introvert, I'm pretty sure communication would easily be established, even if you guys are people who just met for the first time. Plus, having someone to talk to about the events that happen can easily open up to some new views that you may actually gain enlightenment on.
We do not call that as competition like in the out there because we only gamble because of fun, and if one of us wins the game, that will not be a problem. That is why we need to find the right friends who will understand who we are and do the same thing. I am glad that I have some friends who can know each other and can be trusted, so I do not doubt our loyalty. So whenever we play gambling together, whether offline or online or even place a bet, we can trust that friend because we really know each other.

I support your point of view. In addition, the practice of blackmail and coercion to the necessary actions under the condition of non-disclosure of compromising information is very often used among the corrupt and bribe takers. So if a player has ever been involved in corrupt schemes, then get out of this vicious circle will be virtually unrealistic, as either he will lose his reputation or will continue to do what he is told.
There will be a breaking point for someone and I think that if that person is going to have a change of heart, I think that getting out of this vicious circle is possible but that means that he/she is ready to face the consequences and be ready to whistleblow on the corruption that he/she had participated into, reputation wise I think that depending on how that player delivers his/her words.
That is only if he can realize that what he did before is wrong and it's not matched with his heart. He needs to have a strong heart to get out of that circle, and maybe that needs help from other people. But once he tells his problem to other people, that can attract that person to investigate deeper about the corruption that already happened before.  Maybe only with that, the corruption will have a chance to eradicate slowly as the clean officer will search for people in that circle.
Eradicating corruption is indeed not easy because there will be a reliable team to anticipate if it is revealed and made suspects for those who are not involved because corruptors have great teams and lawyers, and corruptors also have strategies and look for victims who will be involved if caught.
and all because of money and greed, if tempted to earn large sums of money, anyone will get involved and even become the sole suspect.
Things like that often happen to organizations or governments, and anyone who is strong will win and the point is never to try or be tempted by money that is not his right because it is a temptation of how strong your faith is.
Yes, the corrupt people will have almost everything to escape from the investigation, and maybe they can pay off the people who know what they did not to tell the officer or police. That will be a big job for the clean officers to try hard to investigate and collect every proves out there, even if they need to use a trap to catch one of the corrupt people. In the government, some people are in that circle, and they can free to do what they want without thinking if they are breaking the law. Sooner or later, justice will be revealed and the bad people will get in jail by the police.
6894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being unpredictable on: March 23, 2021, 11:19:52 AM
Is there a way that you can ensure being difficult to predict at Poker? For example, if you never bluff, people will eventually get to known that and it will reduce your ability to profit from good  cards? Anyone there knows techniques or trick to avoid being easy to read?
Send mix signals.
This behavior let's you have good clue on the opposite player's emotions, therefore, behaving in a mixed manner while controlling your emotion gives you a good stand of winning, I don't know any other strategy but that's the most considered factor when playing poker game.
Sometimes, that can confuse us to use mixed signals if we are not well trained in changing our behavior in the poker game. It can make them know if we are just bluff, especially if we meet the pro poker player. They can easily know if someone is not playing tricks or always change the bluff. We can use that strategy, but we need to be very careful to apply that because we do not know if they are a pro poker player or a new player in the poker game.

Why are there many people in the forum always suggest XRP? There is a lawsuit against Ripple and its founders for sales of illegal securities. It is also centralized. I reckon the best altcoins for new sportsbooks to begin accepting are Litecoin, Monero and Dogecoin.
XRP as far as I know has the lowest transaction fees but yeah you are right that lawsuit is a problem. The problem with new sportsbook is that they are not as established as the other sportsbook so you will have a problem with trust for awhile. Doge might be a good alternative.
Rather than use XRP to gamble, we have the other altcoins that can suit us to gamble and even if those coins are not too low than XRP, the coin does not have a problem with the lawsuit. That will help us avoid the problem in the law, while we can still use it for playing gambling. Dogecoin will be the best coins to gamble as the price is not too high, and in the first time creation, Dogecoin is for a meme and fun only.

Betting against friends sure makes it more fun. I enjoy the trash talk and analysis of the game whether I win or lose my bets. To me it just another layer to enjoy sports betting overall. However, I think losing to fellow friends makes me compete more which resonates to more urge to bet to get even. To some people it could turn out bad, but I think what's important is to enjoy the game, thrill of betting with others and knowing when to stop.
Exactly, when things get a little competitive crossing the line sometimes is a possibility, that will only happen if the people you are playing against are your friends and almost some of your friends will not be able to take a trash talk or a joke but if you are competing against strangers I think that it doesn't really get that competitive but you still have to do your best because it is a competition after all. I don't do betting a lot but I don't like doing competition so I assume that I am more of a lone bettor myself.
I think betting with friends will give an exciting time for us because we can talk or trick them on the analysis or joke with them. When we gamble with them, I think the winner or loser will not be too important because I can enjoy our time with them. We can tell them how hard to recover their losses in gambling games, so we already give suggestions to them not to try to recover. If they are wise to see the situations, they will listen to our suggestion and force themselves to recover.
But mostly, they won't. While putting yourself in their shoe, you're likely to feel what they're feeling that there's a need to recover and that will make them do whatever it takes just to recover.
Yeah, they won't easily accept the suggestion instead to continue playing gambling. I wish they can understand that we really care about them and we do not want to see them lose more money. I still suggest them and explain not trying to recover the losses because we do not know if they can even recover the losses.

No, we do not have to drag them out from the gambling because that can trigger a fight between us. But we can tell them, and the rest will be up to them.
As long as you do your part of reminding it, that's already the point and zone of telling them what they must do if it's not working anymore.
That will be their responsibility to listen to our suggestion or not because no matter what, we can not force them to quit gambling unless they can see by themselves that playing gambling will make them lose more money.
