6901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ever heard of a First Bitcoin? on: November 28, 2016, 11:03:34 PM
The recently I found a new coin under the name FirstBitcoin.
Official site : http://bitcoincapitalcorp.com/
What would you say about a coin?
I was very embarrassed that here in the forum have no information about her.
I would like to know more information.

It dies coin, and has listed on coinqx but I'd visited the site and seems like it already died. And I think Coinqx is under http://bitcoincapitalcorp.com Which mean it has owned by the same person which have http://bitcoincapitalcorp.com .

And all of the projects in http://bitcoincapitalcorp.com/projects/
It has belonged to http://bitcoincapitalcorp.com and which means a high chance for to be a scam purpose.
6902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💸💸💸 【ChronoBank】 🌟🌟🌟 【ICO】 💸💸💸 on: November 26, 2016, 07:25:14 AM
Will the TIME token be on its own blockchain or will it be on ETH?
You may need read again at his first Ann post. But if you had read about his whitepaper, this project will run on the three different blockchain.
6903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My prediction market project on: November 26, 2016, 07:22:51 AM
Hi,

I'm a long time lurker. I have an idea and I would like to let everyone know for discussion.
I plan to create an ERC20 token and distribute it for free.
Then I will create a prediction market using this token.
The prediction market will be using augur's published markets, then we trade shares using the token i created.
The market will also use augur's oracles for resolution.

This way, we can have a prediction market without fees unlike augur's 2% fee each trade.

Let me know your ideas. I'm currently coding the token now. I will get the idea from the crowdsale of golem network.

Basically the ERC20 token that i will create will have a crowdsale but at the end of the crowdsale period the participants will get their tokens and also their eth. So basically, it's free. Just lock up your eth for the duration of the crowdsale.

Even the mighty Ethereum is failing. How will ERC20 be any different?
It will not be any different, The mighty tree was getting broken and what about a little stalk? It will mean nothing.
Is it a big mistake? We will get confirm if we just watch what happen with the mighty tree in the future. ERC20 is a little stalk.
6904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] vDice Ethereum Blockchain Gambling || Crowdsale is LIVE NOW on: November 26, 2016, 07:15:01 AM
vDice news and advertisements are everywhere. Looks very good with a very aggressive team. Still have lots of time before ICO ends. I wonder how much will be raised.

Based on my observation on Vdice contract addresses every day at least 500 Eth sent to the address
That indicates investor interest continues to grow I do not dare to guess how much total funding at the end of ico anyway good luck to the team.

It was meaning if everyday vdice geting up to $4655 and that was becoming good result for this project.
6905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 25, 2016, 03:02:04 PM
In my opinion, Zcash is just another hype. As of now, Zcash might be one of the most expensive coin but after a few months and after the hype is gone, you can see that it will slowly die. So if i were you, I will just stick on bitcoin and continue investing for long term rather than risking my money on coins like zcash.
It will not die soon, but totally their will never reach first hype again. The Zcash will below btc in my mind. And the signal was becoming the true in this time.
6906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best alternative to bitcoins on: November 25, 2016, 02:58:52 PM
There are no best alternative to bitcoins, it is because all coins in the crypto currencies are just a clone currency only that has a low value of price and majority of it are shitcoin only few are legit such as ltc, eth, doge, etc.

maybe the best alternative is ltc, doge and eth or etc, because the price is somehow to be stable righ now. but i am not sure for this and maybe its time to see on the coinmarketcap and the market.
The stable condition it wasn't meaning if will be best alternative of bitcoin and especially about ETH while the fork in a row was happening everytime, and this condition mean of ETH wasn't becoming such good alt coin for BTC, If we may think about the price and volume ETH still number 2 below of bitcoin today.
6907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: November 21, 2016, 06:13:01 AM
Hey everyone,

I have just started college doing software development so am new to all this. I am just wondering why there are not more bitcoin related sites out there that are bitcoin related ? I always thought of bitcoin to be a well supported thing and when I look at crowdfunding sites or bitcoin lotto sites they are of very poor quality. Why has no one decided to take these further and build something the bitcoin community can be proud of ?
If you're looking for something was made proud of bitcoin community, the answer was referring to the blockchain system. Too many crowdfunding of lotto site just not care about that. Early development was becoming the right answer for them.
6908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ups and Downs ! on: November 19, 2016, 02:58:07 PM
What do you think about the ups and downs of the currency Bitcoin ?
Whether it's an advantage or a disadvantage?
It can become advantages for all of the bitcoin users while we were talking about the traders, but it was gonna other if we weren't talking about the trade.
Just a short example, The volatility was becoming the primary source of the trader which can make some profit for them. no volatility = no trade.
6909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: November 19, 2016, 02:52:51 PM
Into 20 years will be mined around 90% from total coins avaible with that said, i do believe the demand and supply will work on those time, and i dont know the possible value, but i believe it will be around 2000 dollars.

think that it will be that much mined in 20 years I don't think so for price it might be higher then 2000

Too early think about the future of bitcoin, if we can spend some of your time for read about the latest news.
I have read about the first national crypto going to run in the future.
Could we have thought again about the future of bitcoin besides from his rate?
6910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2016, 02:44:19 PM
India is coming up fast ... and Russia too.
it is still china the number 1 bitcoin adopter , number 1 bitcoin miner ,
people knew about that and aware that anytime they can control more than 50% bitcoin supply ,
this is sounds like horrible but it is true ,
i don't think india or russia can compete with china in adopting bitcoin.

Why horrible? We must be happy...

People in others countries are losing their times don't accepting the coin yet.

China is doing their job, nothing wrong here.
They were getting 51% hash power, it meant a bad thing for all. It can affect the bitcoin. But, you need read more about this. And the another horrible thing if China will going to launch his national crypto coin and this will become an opponent for bitcoin. The competition of crypto will be so strict soon. I'm not feeling happy with this news.

6912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Friendly Countries on: November 18, 2016, 01:06:21 PM
Which country has most number of bitcoin users, miners and vendors? And in which country bitcoin is accepted the most? Like in at institutes or super malls or stores etc.
Has such data been calculated and available on the world wide web?
You can get a lot of the countries are bitcoin friendly at the South America, there are a lot of bitcoiners in there. And it's already supported by their environment. A lot of store which accepts bitcoin for his payment.
I may think if in some countries outside of the South America the bitcoin will be becoming friendly for all while Russian are pull his statement for ban bitcoin in his country.
6913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of BTC's blockchain being public? on: November 17, 2016, 11:00:42 PM
What are the advantages of BTC's blockchain being public? Would it not be more secure if it was hidden from people?

Because there are methods that could assemble the information in the blockchain with the information from certain other methods and could point with high precision what blockchain activity belongs to who. Secret services are researching methods like these.
What's wrong with public blockchain, and what's your mean about hidden from people? it refers to private blockchain? Feeling free for hear your solution about that.
6914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 17, 2016, 03:24:03 AM
in the present day bitcoin transaction is slow.but if u are comparing that with credit card transaction it is too slow  ..it may take some while to cope up with the same transaction speed with that of bitcoin .well i can assure that in the near future people will transact through bitcoins and it will be same as the bitcoin transaction and convinient too ..kudoos Smiley

Sometimes, Bitcoin transactions are slow but there are times that bitcoin transaction in my experience was fat. fast for wallet to wallet, and it depends on wallet you are using i think,
Block size, The delay between blocks for taking your transaction, The input value.
It doesn't depend on your wallet.
6915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there new people coming to Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2016, 03:10:23 AM
All good responses.  Most of that was my thinking as well.  I was sort of trying to see if like the forum Admin's have a better idea of how many people are joining this site, mostly because I am assuming a lot of people have more than 1 account, or possible many accounts on here.

My guess is Bitcoin is standing nearly still, with a few people here and there joining the cause, but I was just hoping for a definite answer

Thanks
Definite answer? There is no in my mind, Even on some published research about how many bitcoin users and is not tells me about the definite answer for that while I find this one.
http://www.coindesk.com/2016-bitcoin-challenge-100-million-users/
Some might have said about an unclearly answer too.

But I was getting some in here through the new users are talking about a fresh thing of bitcoin, and it has had a definite answer for me.  Wink

6917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 16, 2016, 01:35:00 AM
Peter Todd was one of the participants of zcash's parameter generation ceremony as a human witness and this is what he had to say about the cryptocoin. Warning to fans and supporters of zcash. You will not like it. I would also like to point out that this is of real concern to some of the people in the community who may think that zcash is the future of cryptocoins because of the strong development team behind it. This is not the case after reading these comments below from Peter Todd's blog here: https://petertodd.org/2016/cypherpunk-desert-bus-zcash-trusted-setup-ceremony#disclaimers

"The cryptography behind Zcash is both highly experimental, and relatively weak. Fact is, if zk-SNARKS turned out to be totally broken, unlike more mainstream crypto, it just wouldn’t be all that surprising..."

"On top of that, there appears to be uncertainty about the strength of the actual parameters chosen for Zcash’s crypto. The threat here is that an attacker may be able to create fake zk-SNARK proofs by breaking the crypto directly, even without having access to the trusted setup backdoor..."

"The current Zcash protocol inherits the same O(n^2) scalability problem that Bitcoin has, and then makes the problem significantly worse. First of all, unlike Bitcoin, Zcash can’t be pruned: every private Zcash transaction results in one or more revealed nonces that must be stored indefinitely by all Zcash nodes.

More importantly, verifying Zcash private transactions is orders of magnitude slower than verifying Bitcoin transactions: tens of milliseconds compared to a few microseconds. This is so slow that if Zcash users used private transactions frequently, even without attacks mining Zcash could become unprofitable for all but the largest mining pools even due to slow block propagation effects; if small miners were not forced out of business the Zcash network could even have difficulty maintaining consensus.

In my opinion the Zcash team has been irresponsible, maybe even dishonest, in their choice of block interval and size parameters.

This heart attack for zfans.
Beside of the Petertood's said. In my personally, likes to call that is a failure. Even it has different a milliseconds will be giving a lot of impact for the pre-assumption of someone.
6918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: November 16, 2016, 01:19:48 AM
Ethereum has a good future and it can be said that it is the only competitor now for bitcoin.bitcoin will remain dominant irrespective of any new altcoin coming in nearby future.

The Etheruem has a very strong development team and good community. So it will be a good competitor.

Yep, now Ethereum is a good competitor for Bitcoin, but only till time when China or other big country will release their own national cryptocurrency. Then the time of altcoin will ends.
I don't think so. The demand has caught by crypto, and I think, the government can think a twice for that. Although, the government can manipulate the market if restrict the civilians and the primary for using the national coins.
And how they used the core system? Blockchain? Or something a new one.
6919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 14, 2016, 02:01:20 PM
There are at least 2 or 3 points I'm very critical about when it comes to Zcash, but the inflation is not an issue. It's not higher as it was in Bitcoin when it started and some other coins. The impression of high inflation is a result of the distorted price which is a result of the combination of slow-start (low supply) and hype (high demand). That's why the price was way too high and now it drops to a point where the market sees a faire valuation - wherever that might be. But I doubt it will go 0.005. That would be about $3.5. Won't happen, not even if there is a real worst-case-scenario.

To think about the price one has to think about the marketcap at a certain point of time and how much coins there will be at that point.

But again: That's not a problem. The price had to go down. Or more precise: It never should have been where it was. And the inflation is just like Bitcoin.

I get your point, but at the moment there are only 25k coins, it'll be double that in a few weeks or so.
Then 100k, 200k, 400k, 800k, 1.6m ... The price will probably go down for many months (or years) to come.
In the meantime there will be many other coins without this flaw that will drive investors away from Zcash.
I think eventually the price will come down to around 0.005 btc.

it has possible for zcash, are goes to the another small level of his current rate? It seems like this could have become a bad thing for all who are investing in zcash. But, according to from the polo it was showing the decrease of buy orders volume on zcash, the supply has increased more and more. I may think if zcash will die soon.   Or equal with $5 in btc
