6901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: June 30, 2018, 01:38:57 AM
I wanted to participate in the Iagon pre-sale.  I joined what I thought was the official Iagon telegram.  Turned out it wasn't.  I followed the instructions on the pinned message, which directed me to send ETH to a specified wallet address.  Turned out it was all a scam, and I lost 5 ETH.

Really sucks.  The lesson is be careful out there.

Aww. That really sucks man. I'm not aware of Iagon but why did you join the Telegram though? What not look at the official website so that at least you will be safe. This is the first time that I heard this kind of scam being pull off by those criminals. Yes, I'm calling them criminals because they all are a bunch who steal other money. So just be careful out there because scammers are just around the corner.
6902  Economy / Speculation / Re: There's no point in re-testing $1300 on: June 29, 2018, 07:29:59 PM
Their analysis lack merit and to forecast that bitcoin is getting to 1300 anytime sooner look absurd to me. Bitcoin manipulation by the whales can not go far as bringing bitcoin to 1300.

Correct, I don't think that they will have to wait for the price to hit 1300$ before saying that they will buy a bunch. Even today they can do it at 5800$-5900$. Whales will be whales, they love to manipulate whenever they can and if someone see the price today at ripe for the taking, then obviously they will go for it and not to wait for the price to even dip further. I don't know why Tone Vays, maybe he wanted to influence the market again so that he as whales can buy tons of bitcoin in a snap.
6903  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bloodbath to End on: June 28, 2018, 03:18:18 AM
Well yes, everyone is expecting this blood path should end and should see coins growth back on track at least to the minimum. This current correction is the longest one compared to the past corrections. But if you have seen the hike right after the corrections happened earlier, it would be soothing us. There had been a huge hikes right after these corrections. So hoping for this correction to end and every coin value grow up.

Obviously its the longest because it has covered all of 2018. As compare to last year wherein if my memory serves me right, we didn't experience a month long drought, as bitcoin would tend to regular in about a week or two. Again, all we can do is hope that this nightmare will be over in a snap and the price going back to normal. But in reality, its hard not to think that it may go down the whole 2018 so I'm bracing myself and making the necessary adjustment in my crypto investment portfolio.
6904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy This Dip or Wait ? on: June 28, 2018, 02:39:41 AM
So BTC and most alts are down 10-25% pretty much across the board from 6:30 est. this morning.

So what do you think guys, buy this dip or wait for more blood?

I prefer investing right now while the market price is currently decreasing because in this way i can earn more profit when the market price goes back to normal.

Definitely that's one success criteria to look at. We should always buy in dips so that we can maximize our profits one the market becomes normal or at least bounce back again. I don't see any more blood in the next weeks or so except for minor price correction. Bitcoin as $6K and ETH at $400 is still a bargain. So don't let this opportunity get away from all of us, invest while you have the funds because one the market makes another significant run, I'm sure that we will be one of those thousands of people who will say yeah I made the right decision.
6905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is ETH will hit 400$ on: June 28, 2018, 01:52:47 AM
This is not impossible as we’ve seen this coin hit that price several times, but what is for sure is that this coin will always recover so better use this chance to get some.
Everything is possible in crypto due to its volatility. It was around $500 few weeks ago and now it's nearly hitting $400 while sitting at $430+. Before everyone is asking if ETH will hit $400 but now we don't want to hit it back at $400 because that's pretty low from the recent price.

Its now $440 but the support line is too weak. Its really sad to see the price free fall as well, similar to bitcoin. I just got lucky to dump a few of my stash at around $600+ in mid May because I needed money that time. But just like bitcoin though, Ethereum has a good chance to bounce back because we all know that investors are just waiting for that one news that will make the market turn into a bullish one. If that happens then all crypto including Ethereum will recover, but I don't think it will hit 4 digits this year. Maybe a good $800'ish will the best in can go, in my opinion.
6906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC update on: June 28, 2018, 01:10:00 AM
🚨BTC UPDATE!🚨

Conclusion: If BTC will hold 5900$ support, we can expect nice bounced back soon,
also RSI is very oversold so it can happened every moment,
from second way, if too many people start
opening long positions with leverage, whales may push BTC down again so that the stock exchanges do not lose large amounts of money. I do not expecting more decrease than 5000-5400$ zone which is strong support for BTC. Do not lose your patience! I’m pretty sure that good days will come for crypto.
it many times but i will do that again, we are here on long term, not for short.

I quite believe that this piece of information about the crypto market condition is necessary to raise our hope this time around where the bitcoin and altcoins market is in the dip. Keep doing this to erase panic in the community and keep our hope shining because I know the market will bounced back soon. The BTC price bounced back after moving below $6000, I think that was a major correction.

I think the strong support now is at $6K. And I don't think that it can go down that level again. But the problem I'm seeing is that there's no strong buy support either so I speculate that the price will go hovering around $6K-$6200 for long before we can see another progress. The investors faith are not there, that's why what we see is always a bull trap when everyone thought that we are recovering. Day traders are doing their thing by selling whenever they have the chance to make a profit.
6907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik calls Tron a scam in interview on: June 27, 2018, 08:38:44 PM
Well Vitalik being Vitalik, he made a lot of controversial comments before so I don't think that we can made a big fuss about this one. Its his opinion, and maybe he smells something that we can't because for all we know he is ETH man himself. Maybe blurting out in public is not his real strengths but we love him to saying what he really thinks no matters who's going to sideswipe with his comments. Anyone can argue with him, but I wouldn't take him seriously though. If I wanted to invest on TRON then I will do it no matter what people says.
6908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS is Ranked No.1 in China! on: June 27, 2018, 08:20:11 PM
This is just propaganda in my opinion. How can you rank something that hasn't proven its worth yet? How do they based the coins anyways and says that this coin is better than the other? I agree with all the drama the China has been putting up since they made their U-turn on bitcoin. Maybe they are just trying to belittle bitcoin by having their own ranking which I think the community doesn't agree or there could be a lot of arguments surrounding it.
6909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are falling! on: June 27, 2018, 07:56:11 PM
Hi, friend.

I want to know your about the bitcoin price reducations?
In your view, what do you see about significant reductions in bitcoin prices!?

What can you see from the positive or negative about it?

Thank you!

Significant reduction? The price is still strong when you think that it started at around $700 back in January 2017. But yeah from $20K to $6K is not good because we have lost a lot of money. However, the market can't go on a parabolic rise that's why we experienced this so called crashed.

I see bitcoin prices continue to fall in 2018 and the market is getting worse, I hope the market will recover quickly and bitcoin back to the moon

Well there's a lot of people saying that bitcoin will continue its downtrend. But then again, one positive side is that we can purchase them at a discount and just HODL on it. So once it bounce back, we can sell them making us a lot of money in the future.
6910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have we hit the bottom? I think so. on: June 26, 2018, 10:28:33 PM
Okay. That was a good one.
In regards with the question though. I dont think this is the bottom. We may experience a lot more dips if the panic wont be stopped. This is one good way to stop it.
Give them great news. Occupy their time and do not let them look at the price even for just a day.
We can minmize the sellers even if it reaches just small holders. It will still be an impact.

Yep, personally we have see another bottom but we really don't know when it will be because that's how everything works. Negative news brings the worst out of everything to all of us, some panic decided to just sell contributing to bleeding and free fall we have been seeing in the last 6 months. But give them a great news and you will see that it can bounce back in just a matter of days. Again, this is how everything works so we don't really care if it has bottom or not because we all know that it can recover.
6911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: June 26, 2018, 02:26:06 AM
Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is a payment system at its core and we should give first priority to use it as a payment system instead of looking to earn from the speculation activities. Bitcoin is valuable today just because the early adopters decided to use their Bitcoins as a payment system instead of holding their funds. As of now I am trying to spend at least 50% of my funds and hold rest of the 50% funds to balance my activities in the crypto sector.

Yes, bitcoin was meant to be a payment system, however, it evolved become a mode of investment for almost all of us that's why the term HODL suddenly pop out and now its part of our history. And I do agree that Holding has its advantages specially for those who doesn't want to trade. But I do believed that this method is best maximize when the price is really low maybe around 2011 and just hold and do nothing up until we made a significant run to almost $20K last year. But today, I don't think that it will give you that amount because the price keeps on fluctuating so for me holding is not the best strategy at this market situation.
6912  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: June 26, 2018, 02:10:41 AM
Wow great news! And really glad and thankful for Cin the Italian IOSt telegram moderator for contacting the necessary people in order for them to be able to reach out to MadZ and now confirm that they are at least alive Grin we'll all be waiting for the update and see what is going on! Glad that nothing too crazy has happened at least.

Wasn't able to post during the previous week not because I'm pissed for not being paid but because I got sick myself. Hope though that Madz is doing ok, because I remember one campaign wherein the manager suddenly went MIA so it was really a messed. However, it turn out to be that the campaign manager got sick and was hospitalized as far as I can remember. And thanks for the Italian IOST Telegram moderator for stepping up and reaching the necessary people.
6913  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: June 18, 2018, 11:24:26 PM
I don't think BITCOIN will reach < 3000$....... it's already at very low prices and I think that strong hands will buy in a very short time so market and BITCOIN will grow faster than ever.

Of course it could really happen. But I don't think that its possible at this point because bitcoin has somewhat recovered again and might test the $7K barrier. It was scary though to see the price bottom again this year and everyone was kinda frustrated and just sold them off thinking that it can go down further. Alas, last couple of days we are slowly bouncing back and hope that its going to be sustainable as least till we break $7K and move further away from the last bottom price.
6914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eos on: June 18, 2018, 10:38:27 PM
Have a read of this chat log from the EOS Block Producer Telegram: https://pastebin.com/wD7V4EU5

Pay special attention to the part where they agree to just print more tokens for themselves as needed.

Why would anyone with any sense invest in EOS?

Lol. That's obviously manipulation in their end and they agree to create more tokens and the worst part is that is being reserved for them. If its true then will go the path of XRP as well, too much hype and the people from behind are just enriching themselves. I really don't understand why people are totally sold EOS though, for me its just too much hype. It might end up a good pump-and-dump coins for all we know.
6915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: June 18, 2018, 10:14:32 PM
The only possible strategy in bounty is to try to get one that at least pays. If you achieve that you are already in a very good path frankly.

Right because there are a lot of bounty which promises good pay but at the end, its a total scam and suddenly disappear and didn't pay the bounty participants who works very hard. I like to join bounty at the beginning to maximize profit. I don't want to join bounties in the middle as you might get less tokens. I remember joining a bounty before, but after a week I move out because when I check their website there were obvious signs that something wrong with the said project and I was correct because the project suddenly closes in less than a month.
6916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when Bitcoin was new and..... on: June 18, 2018, 09:46:45 PM
I wish I knew about bitcoin in 2011, otherwise I would have invested on a large and now would have had a very good profit. Previously, I did not believe in bitcoin for a long time thought that it was fraud.

Well you are not the only one who already know bitcoin back in 2011 but chooses to ignore it. I already knew bitcoin in 2011 but I never thought that it will be where it is right now. I thought that its nothing but a fad, however, I was totally wrong and regret not fully understands what it can really bring that time. I didn't think it was a fraud though, more of a fad that will simply go away when all the hype is gone.
6917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why does coins change price constantly? on: June 18, 2018, 09:11:05 PM
Why does coins prices fluctuate so much and it is never been constant making predicting price much harder and much riskier and holding on to coins can be the best way right now.

why does it change prices constantly and never stagnant?

For me, in my own opinion the value of a coin is tied purely to the laws of supply and demand. In other words, the price is determined only by what the market is willing to pay. If more people want to buy bitcoins, then the price will increase. If more people want to sell, the price will decrease.

Secondly its value can be volatile when compared to more established currencies and commodities.

Yes, that's simply the main reason, why the price of a coins changes so quickly. If there's no demand for it, of course the price will just go down and when people started to offloading the coins into the market, obviously the price become cheap as well and the opposite happen is there is a high demand. That's why you will hear people saying how volatile this market is. Well, because of volatility, traders are profiting, so we must learn how to embrace it as well.
6918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What affects your decision to take part in a Bounty Campaign? on: June 17, 2018, 11:37:50 PM
Hello everyone!

I faced several Bounty campaigns and I have seen a lot of them with pretty similar conditions and requirements to participate. When I had a look at their Spreadsheets, I have found that the number of bounty hunters is different! There was a huge difference between the number of participants and the date of Bounty Campaign launch was the same (there was a difference of several dates between the launch dates). Their ideas were great, very promising, and the relationship between community managers and their community was excellent: great potential investors attention, fast replies, polite and useful explanations...

My question is: "What makes you choose one Bounty campaign and not another? What are the key factors that highly influence your decision? What are you looking for at the first sight and what do you expect from it before starting your participation and register in the Bounty?

(Don't know if this or similar topic exists, I haven't found one, sorry if it's already created)

Of course the project itself, you need to look at who is the team behind and if the project has a lot of potentials. Because we all know that projects can disappear, I think its also better to look who are managing the campaign. Usually trusted managers are so experienced that they wouldn't accept a project that they think could be a potential scam.

Would love to join a project that is really unique or a project like trying to penetrate the trading platform industry or introducing something new that will change the landscape of crypto industry. That's some project that I would like to join in the future though.
6919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is there a possibility that Ethereum will reach $200 this year? on: June 17, 2018, 11:21:38 PM
Ethereum price has diminish to extend that holding it is no longer profitable hence traders are seeking for safe place to keep their money. If no positive news about ether don't surface I don't doubt that Ether will be 200 usd by the end of the year.

Well crypto market has proven that everything is possible. Remember bitcoin's dramatic free fall? it could happen to ETH a well as its on the borderline $400-$500. However, it looks like there are new statement from dev's that might turn around this down trend.

https://www.coindesk.com/proposed-ethereum-roadmap-activate-biggest-upgrades-together/

Looks promising. So let wait and see how it pans out and hope that ETH can have a big boost with this news.
6920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangerous price area on: June 17, 2018, 10:58:34 PM
Stop mining if you really have a good miner right now, because it is not going to give you many profits. The same if you are trading, you are risking your money because of a bad market

But I'm sure that if one miner completely stops today, one will pick it up so the cycle continues. As for the dangerous levels, we have seen bitcoin floored in April and playing around the $6K range but mining didn't stop. So I don't think that miners will just shut it down because they are not earning at today's situation. But I'm sure that they have save enough for the rainy days that as business man, they can still operate at the current price and breaks even or even suffer a lost but its minimal that they would rather take the risk to continue doing it.
