6901  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which gateways can Merchants use to accept cryptocurrency payments online? on: June 22, 2018, 06:48:08 AM
You can use Bitpay,I remember that it is the biggest cryptocurrency payment gateway.
What kind of products are you selling?Physical or digital?I don`t think that anyone would buy physical products using cryptocurrencies.Do you do dropshipping or you are selling your own products?
6902  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is the attack "51%" legal? on: June 21, 2018, 12:38:24 PM
In addition to the previous quotes, I should say that the 51% is not only illegal (if used by illegal activities), but immoral. It makes the credit towards the crypto world to decay. If the power of the transactions fall into a person or a colluded group of persons, then, where is the decentralization?
From my perspective, this is just another example of a scam, and break all the bases of the crypto, even if it is not used for "illegal" activities, the mere existence of the will of having the 51% of the power just shows how the crypto can be manipulated and breaks the credibility on the system.

In most cases, activities that are considered as illegal are immoral as well, but some activities might legal, yet immoral.I think that a 51% attack is the same as corporate piracy.Corporate piracy is the action of buying 51% of stocks from some company that doesn`t want to be bought by you.Such activity is legal(it doesn`t break the law),but it`s immoral, because it might damage other people, who hold stocks in that company,if you decide to bankrupt the company.
6903  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-20] Will bitcoin recover? Will BTC go back to $10,000? on: June 21, 2018, 12:29:01 PM
What rise? And what is there to recover?

The fake pump that happened last year doesn't exist for me and for that reason there is nothing to recover. If we happen to reach $10,000 this year, it can be seen as an all time high based on regular demand, which is way more sustainable and offers more opportunities for further growth.

You know what my target was when we entered 2017? It was $2000 before the end of the year. At that point there was no hype, no future markets, nothing. It was a calm market that was supposed to slowly go up and book consistent gains throughout that year. We got something way different in return and it made everyone go nuts.

If we would happen to reach $6000 today as all time high everyone would be excited and happy, but due to that fake peak most people are disappointed now.

That`s how the crypto market works. It creates unsustainable expectations that the BTC price might reach 30K-50K USD after 1-2 years. All the naive newbies start buying btc,the bubble just keeps growing, untill the big whales decide to start selling and cash out the profits.OP,you are kinda wrong about the lack of hype back in January 2017.There will be always some sort of hype and big expectations regarding bitcoin. If there wasn`t any hype, the current btc price might`ve been 500 USD.
6904  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin sustain a high price? Does my math check out? Is this valid logic? on: June 21, 2018, 06:54:23 AM
Why do you focus only on block rewards? The miners get revenue from the transaction fees+block rewards and we don`t have to worry about their revenue and profits. If the BTC price goes down and mining becomes unprofitable, some miners will switch to altcoins, other will just leave. This will re-balance the market`s transaction fees so the remaining miners will get enough profits to continue mining bitcoins. The BTC price will reach 50K USD if the demand keeps raising, this is common sense and every market needs new money, coming from outside to keep the prices pumping.
6905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: June 21, 2018, 06:42:42 AM
It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.

Why not?1 or 2% recoveries of the market prices are a good sign,if they are consistent and continue for 2-3 weeks. The problem is that I don`t see such consistency. The markets will continue to stagnate and there won`t be any steady bullish trend this year. The patient HODLers will be rewarded for their patience, anyone ,who is waiting for fast profits will lose in the end.
6906  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government really scary? on: June 21, 2018, 06:16:31 AM
I don`t think that any govenment officials can track and steal your crypto currencies,if you store them on a decentralized wallet and you keep your private keys in a safe place. The Vietnamese communist governments might be really scary, but they can`t find your crypto. The european govenments aren`t that scary, they will never try to rob someone`s financial assets.
6907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin difficult to understand? on: June 21, 2018, 06:12:07 AM
Why do people have to understand bitcoin? They can use it without the need to understand how the blockchain works. Most of the people don`t even understand how a bank works, but they open bank accounts all the time.Do you know how PayPal and VISA work?I don`t think so,but most likely you have a PayPal account or VISA card.
6908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market talk, tips on trading, news insights, and risk management on: June 20, 2018, 12:18:57 PM
I`ve never seen someone using Soundcloud to post podcats about cryptocurrency trading tips and strategies.
Why don`t you use Youtube or some big social media.I don`t want to create a Soundcloud account just to listen to one audio.
OP,you have to put a disclaimer that all opinions in the podcasts are not an investment advice.
Good luck with this Soundcloud project.
6909  Economy / Economics / Re: World Governments Are Probably More Enthusiastic About Blockchain Than Perceived on: June 20, 2018, 12:13:11 PM
They won`t be so enthusiastic, when they find out how much it will cost to implement the blockchain technologies and much electricity will be consumed.Again, the only one,who is going to make the big profits from this treand will be the big online corporations. The tax payers will be ripped off again. Sad
6910  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-19] The difference between cryptocurrency and non-cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2018, 12:09:04 PM
I wish that there were no altcoins or ICO tokens in the crypto market, just the one and only bitcoin. Grin
By the way,all the huge hype around the crypto world is gone, the price growth just stopped and there are way less ICO projects launched this year. The crypto community has no fault for the "abundance of cheaters".We are not  the police. The "comical" situation this guy is describing isn`t comical for all the people, who were scammed by the army of cheaters.
6911  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high would Bitcoin go with McAfee as president? on: June 20, 2018, 07:01:10 AM
Recently, McAfee said that he was going to run for POTUS. Of course he is a realist and knows he isn't going to win, but will try to spread awareness on Bitcoin during the campaign, unfortunately he will most likely pump a lot of shitcoins along the way too, but who cares, just imagine the price of Bitcoin with a him in the Whitehouse. I think it would reach his $1,000,000 prediction overnight.

http://bitcoinist.com/john-mcafee-running-us-president-2020/

Just for fun, since we all know he will never be president, but this is the speculation subboard after all.

Perhaps he could run an ICO to fund his campaign. Grin
No,he is not a realist,he is a clown.I don`t think that anybody takes him seriously.
Having a real crypto supporter in the Whitehouse would be great, but McAfee isn`t the right person to take such responsibility.
6912  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto being unregulated is a strength and an advantage on: June 20, 2018, 06:56:35 AM
Any Kickstarter,Indiegogo,Gofundme crowdfunding campaign can do the same work as an ICO and I don`t think that those crowdfunding platforms are heavy regulated or it`s expensive to list a project there.
Actually it`s easier to create a crowdfunding campaign. With ICOs you will have to code smart contracts and do some other programming work.
ICO were unregulated in the past, now they are more and more regulated.I think that this advantage is gone.
6913  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hello, How much would you pay for very well made solid business plan which will on: June 18, 2018, 11:56:27 AM
Hello, How much would you pay for very well made solid business plan which will outline all important aspects of running ICO's  brokerage companies?

People are selling business plan creation services for $5 on fiverr.com,you are proposing a price of 100+ USD.
I don`t know what factors determine the cost of a good business plan.By the way, what is "ICO brokerage"?
Do you mean companies that organize ICO projects for their clients and charge them a fee?
6914  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase shuts down GAB.AI account on: June 18, 2018, 11:52:28 AM
They say that centralized exchange platforms are a cancer, but they had a Coinbase account. Grin
If Coinbase is a "cancer",why the Gab team was using it as their main wallet? This is kinda hypocrite.
I`m not surprized that their wallet is closed.Coinbase is a servant of the US authorities and the US authorities want full control over all kinds of social networks.
6915  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-18] Bitcoin Could Break the Internet, Central Bank Overseer Says on: June 18, 2018, 11:47:39 AM
Yeah, bitcoin can create the apocalypse and destroy the human kind.
Satoshi Nakamoto is the antichrist, all the bitcoin supporters are servants of the devil. Grin
The electricity consumption caused by bitcoin mining will destroy the global civilization. You were warned!
And, off course, all big crypto whales are illuminati, and they want to conquer and manipulate the world. Grin
6916  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is anybody here actively trading on BiteBTC? Is it legit? on: June 18, 2018, 06:08:28 AM
Trading airdroped altcoins with high prices(when you know that those altcoins aren`t listed on any major exchange platform) looks kinda suspicious.Perhaps they are manipulating their prices,or just making money out of listing fees.I would never send my personal info to some small exchange platform.I don`t even trust the big platforms.
6917  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you remember Bitconnect? I lost 3500 dollars in this pyramid! on: June 18, 2018, 06:03:51 AM
Do I remember BITCONEEEEEECT,WASA,WASA,WASUPP!!!!! Grin
Can anybody forget about that guy Carlos Matox(or whatever his name is).To be honest,I would never invest in project, with this guy invloved.I`m sorry about all the naive people, who believed and invested their hard earned money in this scam. Angry
6918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you held in your hands some actual euros and dollars as a result of mining? on: June 18, 2018, 05:59:38 AM
Even if you get a little profit in the first year(that`s not profit, because there`s no 100% return of investment),you will have to re-invest your net revenue into maintenance and improving the efficiency.
You can get some real profit after 12-15 years of running that mining farm, but the electricity costs have to be low all the time.
6919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Narrowing the Portfolio on: June 17, 2018, 12:14:05 PM
Having BTC,ETH,litecoin and monero can`t be called a portfolio, because their prices are kinda tied together and they follow the same pattern.Having a real investment portfolio is when you get assets with the opposite price patterns. For example, when the price of asset A goes down, the price of asset B goes up and it compensates the losses from asset A.This is real diversification or the investment risk.
6920  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-14] Final Frontier? William Shatner Boldly Goes into Bitcoin Mining on: June 17, 2018, 11:32:27 AM
William Shatner has nothing to do with this mining project. He doesn`t know anything about blockchain technology, crypto mining and bitcoin/altcoins.I guess that the person, who wrote this article is using William Shatner`s popularity to promote this project,or just for clickbait purposes.
It would be very interesting to see a working solar panel btc mining farm.Solar panels prices are getting cheaper every year.
