This is exactly what I was thinking when I first heard about this corporation starting to get into the cryptosphere. Have you seen those commercials they are running during primetime shows? It makes it look like a marketing ploy just so to get the attention of the stock brokers and gold holder outthere into using cryptocurrency instead. They will just make it harder for the normal people who are working blue collar 9 to 5 jobs to obtain bitcoin with the price becoming unattainable to buy.  Money is always the bottomline in the wallstreet. So do we really believe that they pass this opportunity for themselves? For all we know, they might be silently accumulating bitcoin for the last few years already. And been an active crypto traders for themselves. But no issues at all with that from my opinion. This will help the sustainable growth of bitcoin in the coming years. I do think this company greyscale has been doing it for years now just not under the same umbrella corporation but doing over the counter orders so to cover their tracks if anyone comes looking to see where all the bitcoin holding came from. It's probably an excuse they happily grab so that they can justify poor revenue and profit streams to their shareholders. News outlets like CCN have been very poor performers due to their low quality articles.
The bear market very likely plays a role too, because who aside from the few scam IEOs will buy their ad slots? Maybe a gambling site from time to time, but that's not enough for them to sustain themselves with. Meh.

When I was logging in I did notice was having some issues with the page showing up then disappearing from what sygambler was mentioning is happening to him.
Then I remembered when this occurred they had another web location were you can use incase you had issues with the current domain.
So went to old.sportsbet.io and to see if my current balance would show up and it took a little while for the site to load up (the pulsing greendot in the center of the screen) but it eventually did and my account displayed along with my bets and balance.
This is their back up site incase they are performing maintenance or the main site is causing conflicts with something in your browser.

This was an issue which was a common problem several months ago and I thought it was resolved as they had performed maintenance on and off for the week it occurred. They also had a message come up on the screen saying they were fixing the issue at that time. Somebody said to do an "F5" on the screen for it to disappear and have the site function as it normally would. Doing this solved the problem temporarily until they finish the maintenance and all seemed to work afterwards. For myself atleast. |
