6921  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: September 25, 2018, 11:42:02 AM
Nice one!
It's also interesting that BITdice has four decimal to make it harder to hit jackpot. I always thought that two decimals are standard.

Yeah four decimals also allows for higher possible multipliers.

I know at least two other dice sites with four decimals, and exactly so that you can go for high multipliers/payouts. That's sort of why dice is so popular IMO, the chance to hit it big with such a small bet. Personally never go for max payout except occassionally and I've won x100 a few times but seen plenty of hits of x10k or more. 100 satoshi on autobet hunting for that big payout seems to be popular with regular dicers.

I don't see how 2 decimals can make a big jackpot too. 1 in 10,000 will mean a lot of jackpot hits.

I think to chance to get the jackpot with 2 decimals will occur as much as possible because it is easier to get 2 decimals instead of 4 decimals but the jackpot that they hit will of course be the same. Because the calculation will be based on the basebet, big or small bet will determine the result, so if a player play on both site 2 decimals and 4 decimals and lets say he hits both with the same bet then the amount he receives will be exactly the same

If chance to get jackpot is higher with 2 decimals then you cant say that amount will be the same as with 4 decimals, since jackpot will get emptied more often. Unless this jackpot works differently as I imagine.

When you consider the amounts of big bets that are often played at Bitdice keeping 4 decimals makes sense, if it was kept easy all would win and the excitement of winning the jackpot would fade away. I think the jackpot works just fine, and in the end I think we'll should respect Bitdice decision to keep it at 4 decimals, as that's what makes it more challenging and fun to win.
6922  Economy / Economics / Re: My question about bitcoins economical shift on: September 25, 2018, 03:48:06 AM
As we know due to high inflation economical situation is very unstable !

Now im if the dollar collapsing then how the bitcoin or other coins value will be calculated??

Lets say all the fiat money will be gone and crypto currency will be used how the bitcoin price will be calculatwd??
If the dollar is falling the USDT...virtual currency will be still the base currency for crypto?

Hey economic situation was never really normal if you recollect the Great Depression, Bubble Crash or the Lehman brothers bankruptcy fiat never crumbled. I don't think under any scenario can dollar crash or become virtually inexistent as we literally base everything on dollars. If your hypothetical situation is examined it's very difficult to, fix a quantum way of pricing bitcoins as there's no currency to value it against.
6923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pump and dump collective? on: September 24, 2018, 04:47:13 PM
So i had an idea with really no know how on if it could work or how to implement it but here goes. I have been trading on BTC-e and i see that all the markets are controlled by large coin holders they pump and dump leaving the little guys screwed. So what if a large group of  us little guys got together and formed a Pump and dump collective and took the power out of the few large coin holders hands? could this work? Would it be profitable? How would we go about forming and controlling our group? Flame away.... Wink
You will not be able to control everyone, because they all will not submit to you, you better just follow the big pope, when Dumps, This is the best time to collect dump coins, hold and save. This is the easiest way to get rich because buying and holding is the best way to get profits. So when the pump of prices starts, they patiently wait for the right price for them to get richer. Use strategic plans for your future. Just collect and collect now, then we sell it at the right time.

Cassieheart like you said it's a old post and I just wonder had you and other members actually taken the plunge back then, at those rates I'm sure you'll would have been able to buy a lot of coins collectively, and then sell them in today's time causing ripples across the market, it's a shame that this idea was not executed lol, wonder what if that idea was executed would Bitcointalk would be the home of pumpers and dumpers?

In current scenario it's not possible to do this the rates are very high, and it would take loads of coins to cause a pump or dump like the one you had in mind.

6924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Juventus Football Club Will Launch Its Own Token! on: September 24, 2018, 01:08:54 PM
https://cryptocoin.news/news/juventus-football-club-goes-tokenized-20469/

It looks like more football clubs are joining in Smiley excited to see if they'll implement their tokens as a payment method for merchandise or perhaps even tickets!

I don't think this is good for the crypto market as this is purely a marketing gimmick, and has no real store value for it's investors, people shall buy this but won't get any kind of return and in short period of time they'll end this, and people shall leave in bad faith. I feel this kind of experiments will damage cryptos name, I do hope people are wise and stay away from such marketing gimmicks, or else they'll end up with a token but no price value, or a store value.
6925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fight between BTC and BCH communities drive away people from cryptos itself. on: September 24, 2018, 11:31:49 AM
We could see the fights between BTC and BCH community members accusing each other's coin and spreading negative thoughts about the crypto market itself as a whole. Each coin dev as well as its supporters wants to show the other coin down.It makes people who wish to enter crypto loose their faith in cryptos and stay back.

Come on guys, even if we wish or not we all are sailing in the same crypto environment boat.Don't accuse each other or else we all have to sink one day or another.

While it's true the fight between the developers has been going on since ages, it's in recent days that it's spiraled out on the path of newbies. It's pertinent to note, these are people who are just taking baby steps into the crypto world and are already bemused by the fact which is actually the coin they should invest in. There's so much confusion and fud spread at times you have to feel if these guys take a wrong investment decision. Hence it's true this in fighting has definitely dented new people sentiments of investing.
6926  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin the inflation killer :-> on: September 24, 2018, 08:02:27 AM
In my country the inflation rate averaged between 1% to 3% per year over the last 5 years. So whatever investments I had to make, I had to beat inflation for me to say that I am moving forward.

I am one of the fortunate people who invested in Bitcoin, when the price was around $400 per coin. Since then I have been smashing inflation on my investments made into Bitcoin. <Even after taxes>

In 2017 I obliterated inflation and I sold some coins, which was re-invested into other investments that also beat inflation. I can with all honesty say, that I am not bothered with inflation, even if it goes up to 100% for the next few years.

Let's celebrate the fact that Bitcoin enabled us to beat inflation for the last couple of years.  Grin <Well most of us, because we have to take into account that a lot of people have hyperinflation in their countries>

This is very true whichever country you belong to inflation is there, gone are the days where you could buy a property, or keep your money in bank and be happy you beat inflation. These days none of the assets we have matches the returns of Bitcoins, plus you're lucky to see inflation of up to 3% many countries have it higher, so a good part of the income goes into paying taxes, other gets eaten by inflation. There is no doubt in my mind that bitcoins returns, not only beat inflation but help you keep secured for many years to come provided you know when to buy, hodl and sell your coins.
6927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 24, 2018, 03:09:38 AM
Well just as I thought, Andy Murray will end this season early after competing in the Shenzhen and Beijing tournaments over the next two weeks if all goes to plan. He will not play in either of the remaining two Masters series events in Shanghai or Paris in October as he wants to get his body right for the start of the 2019 season. Nadal I think should also do the same end this season early to recover from a tough year.

When it comes to Murray it was expected he would not be able to participate in all the tournaments, given the beating his body has taken over the years. I'm glad he's made a wise, I would want to see a fit Murray at next years wimbeldon. When it comes to Nadal it'll be interesting to see if he withdraws too, we'll saw what his past injuries did to him this season, I hope he withdraws too and remains fit for next season.
6928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government trying to stop bitcoin, what I see on: September 23, 2018, 11:20:26 AM
Here is what I see each time the government tries to stop or control bitcoin-

Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries.

The government has been trying and has been hopelessly failing to stop the wave of Bitcoins users, some government have acted wisely and made it a legal tender like Japan. I feel bitcoins has the potential to uplift developing nations the most as they'll get a currency that'll appreciate in time, and can be cashed for fiat. If only governments were wiser they should legalise it and then tax it, this way both the users and governments shall earn money, as bitcoins cannot be stopped by any rules, or boundaries.
6929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: September 23, 2018, 08:42:48 AM
Just watched their press conference, looks like McGregor was back to his old ways trash talking, shouting over people, getting up in people's faces etc. Khabib is no joke, and McGregor would be wise not to treat him as such, as he will get choked the hell out if he does. Honestly, McGregor has a good record, but has lost three times already, whereas Khabib hasn't even gotten close to losing in any of his fights. It's going to be a tough fight for both of them, but I think that Khabib is ging to edge it out.

McGregor only knows one way to play mind games, and that way is to talk thrash but I feel he's choosing the wrong guy to try this trick as it'll horribly back fire on him. As we have seen in recent matches McGrecor is more of a loud mouth and cannot box that well, even though I agree he does throw in some decent punches but his defeats tell it's all. I'll also put Khabib as favourites to win their duel, I do hope it's a K.O. victory maybe it'll end McGregor thrash talking for good.
6930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BOXING Anthony Joshua vs Alexander Povetkin on: September 23, 2018, 04:40:55 AM
What's your take on the big heavyweights fight tonight?   AJ 1.1 is the obvious choice.  Maybe parlay material.

Round props are as follows,

over 8.5 2.35
under 8.5 1.63

Maybe a small risk on the over with some ethereum

Anthony was simply outstanding with his movements, punches and most important his attitude. He didn't let his inexperience gets in the way of his victory, as he was facing against an experienced boxer. When Anthony got the beating in the first round I thought he would loose, but he fought back in a way a champion should, and finally I saw a K.O. ending absolutely loved it.
6931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 22, 2018, 06:10:08 PM
Manchester United again showing signs of not a good football. Six games have passed and no signs of improving. I think it is time for Mourinho to leave Manchester United. He is there from a lot of time now and probably cannot fix things so I wonder why he has not already left.

I knew Manchester United would not win today and did not play it, I simply had an hunch that things may go terribly wrong in Old Trafford just like they did today.

I'll agree with you these same thoughts were there on my mind, there's not even one thing right with the head coach, when Martial plays so well in mid week, he decides to shatter his confidence by keeping him on bench, his transfers choices have been poor. In middle of the match it seemed Manchester United would loose with the way they played, it's sheer boring football and I could feel for sir Alex sitting there and seeing such a pathetic football from the club. It's time for Mourinho to go.
6932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: September 30, 2018 - SEC ETF Ruling on: September 22, 2018, 04:25:02 PM
Bitcoin seems to be rallying this month due to the high hopes associated with the SEC possibly agreeing with the pending ETFs.

I think I should be quite positive about VanEck-SolidX this time.

Do we send postcards to the SEC this month? Will it make any difference?

I'm not sure if they'll approve on September 30, but in the long term there're chances it'll be approved. As we'll know three out of five on the board of sec are pro bitcoins enthusiasts, they'll make sure to find a way to approve them. In the last hearings they said they were not filed properly, also there is a sudden wave of interest and optimism that it'll be approved, let's hope for the best.
6933  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin the answer to developing countries currency issues on: September 22, 2018, 12:59:27 PM
Well in most developing countries of the world especially in Africa and southern America the battle of a stable currency has been there issue and this countries has sometime serious of inflation and there currency are so weaker can only be accepted for trade within their country.
If bitcoin becomes adopted generally if will Forster a healthy trading ecosystem among countries and also tackle problems of inflation, slow and ineffective transaction processes and even prevent scam and corrupt practices

Indeed adopting Bitcoins shall do wonders for their economies, as it'll give them a strong currency that'll appreciate in the long run. Also if they start mining it, they'll be able to sell it for fiat which shall strengthen their economy. If they start to do local transactions they'll save money on printing new currency, and this currency shall keep on appreciating which will lead to more revenues for them. New jobs can be created to cater to this new industry, hence I feel bitcoins can be a magical solution for the growing countries.
6934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 22, 2018, 07:28:51 AM
AC Milan is not getting the desired results, they have endured a tough start to the campaign a defeat away to Napoli was hardly a surprise and a win against Roma was a positive result. Then the draw away to Cagliari was slightly disappointing but not a disaster while their opponents Atlanta have seen inconsistent results so it's possible for Milan to get 3points that means league position doesn't truly reflect their performances so far. They've not had the best of luck with their first fixtures. They've given a good account of themselves in every game as you'd expect under Gattuso. I think Atalanta's early start in the Europa League has spun their heads a bit. I'm definitely backing AC Milan to win this here. Atalanta's lack of fire power recently has me thinking this could be a low scoring game so it's possible to get between on under 2.5 goals.

Ac Milan has been on the decline for several years now, once a great club is now just another club battling each season to survive in the league. Indeed their results speak for themselves, they have had a rough start but the win against Roma should have been a turning point, in today's game no doubt Ac Milan are the favourites provided they can play some attacking football.

I'm looking forward to Monday night, now that Ronaldo has finally scored in the league it'll be interesting if he continues his goal scoring heroics, or in the long run he'll disappoint.
6935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 22, 2018, 02:53:01 AM
The era of Michael Schumacher was the most boring era to watch F1 races during that time. Every thing was pro Ferrari at that time and it was easy for Schumacher to win without any real rivalry. In the year 2005-2006 where F.Alonso showed some real rivalry and Renault at that time did big improvements, it was the time when F1 was good to watch again on TV. That was also the end of the era of M.Schumacher and Ferrari as they only won once more with Raikkonen in 2007 but not because of Raikkonen bravery rather because Hamilton and Alonso were fighting each other more than the others.

Nowadays the F1 is not as boring as in the Schumacher era to watch but still it is a bit more boring compared to MotoGP, but that has always been the case. At least the F1 Championship is still open , with Hamilton having more chances to win it. Last race on Singapore was a beautiful one to watch.

I partially disagree here Schumacher era was not boring, I have always been thrilled to see him race week after week and win it. I'll agree with you he had little or no competition boils down to the fact that other cars barely made any significant investments, politics connections also played a role. While this season technically would be boring in your words as Hamilton has won it all, barring few races. I really wish Ferrari sign Hamilton to get their glory days back.

how can I get coins by paying paypal?..need no id vertification

Hey it's really difficult to find buyers accepting PayPal for cryptos, as these kind of trades are notarious for fraudulent chargeback. I don't think here anyone will be keen to accept such a deal, however you can post in the currency exchange and see if someone is willing to take a risk, alternatively you can go to local bitcoins and search for a buyer those are the simplest options for you.
6937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: September 21, 2018, 02:32:11 PM
After recent changes to the merit system, I am trying to do something useful and contribute to the forum. And this is what I collect, hopefully it will change my merit.

This is an article about that, a gambling disorder in most young people
- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5841330/
As stated in the article, experts and analysts know the causes and issues that lead to gambling addiction, they have clearly spoken about the dangers, consequences, and effects of gambling on the nerves and health of a person then there is a series of methods to stop that. But we are still here very clearly, the number is still increasing significantly every year, it has no signs of diminishing, even rising dizziness.

And the problem here is I want to ask why that happens? All the information is complete but people still can not solve the gambling addiction problem, the analysis is useless or our greed still dominates all.

Please let me know your opinion on this issue and if you have enough power, what would you do to solve this

I don't agree with the research that gambling effects young mind and people only, as in my experience it's the aged seniors who're often playing and are addicted more to gambling. While it's true gambling does creates excitement in the mind of young gamblers, but they're able to get out of it. However when you look at seniors these're people who're constantly addicted and are often seen playing huge bets be it land based casinos or online ones.

Also you do not get merits for posting links, improve your language skills, participate more in discussions if people like your post naturally then they'll give you merits.
6938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold On for Dear Life on: September 21, 2018, 10:57:55 AM
Hold On for Dear Life = Bitcoin's strategy to hold by moving a number of assets into a Bitcoin wallet - to stay safe until it's decided to use it or sell it.
Investors who put their money in digital currencies like Bitcoin must be patient to face the fact that the latest trends show a decline in cryptocurrency values. Even so, this does not necessarily make Bitcoin owners panic and rashly release all of its assets in digital currency.

Increasing and decreasing markets are reasonable because they prove that the market has many fans and the market is very active. Some people cannot tolerate the rise and fall of the value of Bitcoin. "If it makes you see the roof at night for no reason, it's better not to have it at all." that's what I think.

Undeniably, digital currency is the future. You have to prepare it for years, we have seen how much the initial price of Bitcoin was launched, until now.

The following is a graph that shows bitcoin prices from 2012 to 2017

I will still hold the coins I have, and still trust in Bitcoin.

Hey hodl is the universally accepted policy of Bitcoin holders, this strategy has stood the test of time and has always rewarded those who followed it. If you have observed whenever fud hits the markets, or price drops happens people panic and immediately rush to sell their coins, but holders stay put they do not make rash decisions cause they know in long run they'll earn a lot. If you see the charts of of 2009 till date people have got super high returns which no asset can ever match. Though this year been difficult I'm sure in the long run all those who have hold on to their coins will be rewarded.
6939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: September 21, 2018, 03:41:52 AM
This will still be PSG, we all know that with the strength of PSG money can get world class players, for this season I think it is still difficult for other teams to serve PSG. This concert PSG started very well 5 times playing 5 wins.

Well it's true PSG has the best squad, and probably will even win the league title, but as we saw their performance in Champions League it's a reminder they can be beaten too. It is rightly said money can buy you players, not class and success, this is squad of massive ego and no one plays like a team. I think teams should target Neymar because he won't go back to defend and PSG will be exposed to the opposition.

I am a TRADER and sometimes also a HOLDER and recently I learned more about profitable investments from SITE and BOT (telegram) but all are scams
Recently appeared a BOT Mining Cloub (app telegram) I noticed many reviews about it and also tried to invest 60 $ and the results are quite good. I plan to invest 1 BTC in this BOT. Everyone let me comment on it

This has Scam written all over it so my advice would be avoid it, most of telegram groups are targeted towards newbies wherein they'll throw them a bait and then vanish. I am sure if you do some research you'll find out it's scam too, I think there're posts here of similar scam do research on it. I have never heard this app, and I don't like the concept as it has all the ingredients of scam.
