6921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on TV - From 2016 to 2018 on: April 20, 2018, 10:20:13 AM
...And in 2018, we are bubbles!

I love the bubble part since it doesn't criminalize Bitcoin before laymen on the streets. That tag leaves few hodlers like us to our fate and faith and the government and authorities should just STFO.

It's interesting to see how the Mass Media is portraying Bitcoin through the recent years...

6922  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-18]Unpacking the 5 Biggest Cryptocurrency Scams on: April 20, 2018, 07:02:04 AM
Does TBC (TheBillionCoin), a coin hyped to be more valuable than bitcoin, not also deserve a place in this unmeritorious clique of rogues? I bet there should be  a revised edition to your list.
6923  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the trend of Bitcoin prices? on: April 20, 2018, 05:24:44 AM
Since 4.13, when Bitcoin suddenly pulled up, does it mean that the bottoming is successful, Bitcoin will usher in a price increase, and it is expected to exceed $11,700, or even higher.
Son, the truth is - we are all speculators here. No one holds the holy grail. Nobody can accurately tell you where Bitcoin is headed. If they truly do, they won't be here wasting time. Rather they would be waiting for it at the designated route. However, to fathom the body language of any crypto I would suggest you peep into its historical data (on CMC). That will show you how the crypto had behaved in the past and what likely direction it might head.

These are just speculations that works with technical analysis. They have been stationed as graphs on the platform but if fundamental news comes, it turns the market to the extent that some investors can't understand any longer. You just wish that no news comes within this time.
You are absolutely right. So people don't think these things are cast in a stone and must be so. The news always shape the technicals. I am a TA person but I do pay attention to news.
6924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RBITToken.io Generate Passive Income thru our platform's Arbitrage; 50% coupon on: April 20, 2018, 04:57:52 AM
The investment amount, $25, isn't much as per individual level but when gathered together with others it should be a pile of cash.

My sincere concern is this: How do you share 100% profit to the holders of your token without reserving anything for your company.
100% of all profits will be distributed among RBIT Token holders each month.
Is this doable because it doesn't look like it to me.
6925  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to give Merits to some users. on: April 20, 2018, 03:23:29 AM
Yes, there is a limit to the number of merit you give per poster. Here is a link to the screenshot from the above poster on all you need to know about merit.

6926  Other / Meta / Re: Please help remove a ban from my account. on: April 19, 2018, 04:35:57 PM
I've found small mentions of "burst posting" and "post bursting" in sig campaign rules. I don't quite understand what it is.

But if it's burst posting, then I need to ask what the standard is. You have people posting 10 posts per day, but for some reason that's not burst posting as long as they're consistently posting 10 posts per day...
"but for some reason that's not burst posting as long as they're consistently posting 10 posts per day..."

That is absolutely not the guage for burst posting. In fact, the definition given that defines post bursting or burst posting on the stickies is merely scholarly, not practical reality. There are users here who make over 20 posts in a day with as little as 5-10 minutes intervals, depending however what responses they were making. But you can't fault these posts because they are constructive posts. Permit me to posit that only unconstructive posts made within this short intervals are deemed post bursting.

Where can i still apply to remove a ban my account, more than a month waiting for a response from the administrators of the forum no one helps me.
OP, your persistence for the ban to be removed clearly shows that the merit system is truly effective. I hope you have truly learnt your lessons and how to avoid any ban in the future.
6927  Other / Meta / Re: What is the next level after Legendary on: April 19, 2018, 02:47:55 PM
I am a Legendary now, what is the next level?
Perhaps you should do Theymos a pm on what his intentions are concerning ranking. Oh! Forget about it OP. You may not easily rank up if a higher rank is introduced seeing that you are still stuck at default merit.

After Legendary has got to be Moon am i right? Roll Eyes
Nope! That should be Seeker (of the Legends).

Legendary -> Donator -> VIP -> Moderator -> Global Moderator -> Administrator

J/k
Others, besides the Legendary rank are administrative positions. That isn't what the OP's question seeks to find out.

6928  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is more like “a psychological experiment than a serious investment" on: April 19, 2018, 01:22:00 PM
Well, Shiller may be right. The whole blockchain thing started as an experiment (psychologically) by Satoshi. But we can't say it is still driven by mere psychology now as several investments have taken to the blockchain tech and are achieving results. It is an investment but surely it will take more years for this to sync and sink in with people. Cryptocurrency is the new business module and just like what the E-mail did to the postal services, it will expectedly do same to banks.
6929  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-18] Porn in the blockchain Bitcoin. Mona Lisa in the Ethereum! on: April 19, 2018, 08:16:03 AM
Just yesterday, I shared an opinion on The Verge Porn, a similar discussion as the one here but centered on the supposed partnership between Verge and porn. Agreed that quite alright even moralists can't dictate what happens in business especially one with an open source if men with scared conscience decide otherwise. I honestly dislike the idea of the blockchain being used to enhance the success of pornography.
6930  Other / Meta / Re: Why the fuck did Admin lock up so many topics? wtf? on: April 19, 2018, 04:28:46 AM
This cleanup replays one of Eminem's hit tracks - Cleaning my Closet

Such an exercise will often leave many bruised and wounded along its trails. But it will expectedly send across a warning signal to those who post in repetitive threads.

your rigth sir.
Error Check, just for the purpose of semantics.

I guess you don't know that "your rigth (sic)" isn't the same thing as "You are right"

Again, the Sir nomenclature doesn't work well here in the forums. You may want to avoid using it, except you are addressing a Knight of Shinning Humour  Shocked
6931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: April 18, 2018, 05:46:41 PM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
That's what makes the difference between you and the successful trading YouTubers - time.

Time, study and decision are three precise ingredients to success whichever way we want to look at it. It takes hours of grilling to fine-tune a trading strategy and that isn't easy to come by. Trading success isn't a luck thing. Rather it depends on skills. So, kid go study and show yourself approved unto the trading world.

Blockchain is a technology....!
Nd technology doesn't depends on luck factor.... Undecided
If you have skills nd if you understand how it works, you would love to work on it nd gradually would be a billionaire............. Grin Roll Eyes Cheesy
And to what dishonour do we owe this spamming post of yours?
6932  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: savedroid scam on: April 18, 2018, 03:29:00 PM
These scammers keep getting to us no matter how hard we try to scrutinize them. That's why I don't indulge ICOs now. I had been beaten in the past and I don't want a repeat. I read the disheartening news here The Savedroid Scam

For those who think white paper and team members are the way to know a great ICO, now you know better.
6933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VERGE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH PORNHUB!!! on: April 18, 2018, 02:20:34 PM
Yeah its real, i see adult industries very promising and not everyone want to make payment using their credit card because fear of their wife etc.
Fear of their wives? Dang! That means supposedly most of those who indulge pornography are married men and they also know it is wrong. Thus, fear of their wives.

Porn is wrong. It encourages fornication and immorality. I ain't writing as a moralist here but from the point of commonsense.
6934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RUSSIA BLOCKS TELEGRAM -> BAD FOR ICOS? on: April 18, 2018, 02:02:06 PM
Telegram wasn't really such a big channel for promoting ICOs. To get people registered in your telegram group ICOs had to promote their group and pay extra money for that. Instead of promoting themselves through telegram they had to pay money to promote Telegram app. And anyway from what I have seen only airdrops were promoting their telegram group and force people to join it. Serious ICOs would let people choose where they want to register and how they want to receive news from them. So by banning telegram Russia didn't resolved much, probably they did this just for their country and the goal was not to affect ICOs

This here is the whole truth!
I dare add, the gospel truth

Cryptocurrency has really seen a lot this day in the hands of stranglers trying to smoother it from left, right and centre. But we count it all joy for this shows the potential that industry has. Only good things are attacked. But blocking telegram IPs for ICOs won't debar the Russians from participation.
6935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for future on: April 18, 2018, 03:23:00 AM
OP didn't specify his capital base (whether he is a money bag or one with a shallow pocket) so we can make our suggestions based on that. All other things being equal I would like to suggest two cryptos here:

1. Waves
2. Tidex token

ethereum, if my recommendation is safe even if the price increase has started to slow. its safe because almost 90% ico manufacture using ethereum platform, so ethereum in my opinion is still good enough for long term.
Yes, we know all that. But ethereum is over used and very expensive now to acquire in quantity. Of what use is a coin's profit when one doesn't have it in large quantity.
6936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look for in a New Project? on: April 18, 2018, 03:07:45 AM
For me I am always basing on its bounty manager and how they active they are on their telegram...
This is key to me too. I have come to realize that highly respected campaign managers here don't just choose campaigns for the sake of it. They peruse them and pick the ones that won't turn scams. OP should take his time and look carefully here, he will discover these managers.

I think you have to check through their website and figure out the goal and visions of the project
then you look into their whitepaper to ascertain their claims
after which you check through their roadmap and figure out their limits and shortcomings.
Tosin, if you go by those criteria you will sooner get scammed. Did you not read the story of Vionex and how they erased all traces to them and shutdown their website? It was a dramatic turn of event that shock the crypto community. I was lucky I didn't buy in during the ICO because I wanted them to be listed first before buying in

In all that and besides gauging a good ICO through my first points stated above, I also consider the use-case of the coin and marketing strategy. Team selection is secondary to me.

Payment received for the 7th week. Thanks.
6938  Economy / Services / Re: ALAX.io Signature Campaign on: April 17, 2018, 07:01:11 AM
I have to report that I have been witnessing reduction of my posts since four days ago. As I'm writing now, I have 26 post already for this week excluding the shortage. I hope it remains so.  I don't know if any other member has same issue.

I guess is my turn to witness such this week.

Please manager, take note incase there are more reduction. Thanks.
Me also hard 28 post as at yesterday but seeing your post now I just counted my Post's now to discover that am left with 23 posts left what is happening.
I think the delete thing is general. I have had some of my posts deleted too. I am not referring to past posts for previous weeks. I woke up this morning to discover that six of my posts were deleted from the current week. I wonder why.
6939  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does Pump Signals work? on: April 16, 2018, 08:06:06 PM
How can they pump manually?
Buying at the same time.
Buying at the same time basically defines what happens at the signal groups. And that's where the strength lies. Once that call is made and these members start buying, the ignorant and unsuspecting public will mistake it for a genuine price rise and FOMO sets in. Of course, we know people like to wait until price begins to rise, so the maddening rush begins and price begins to soar for the crypto in question.
6940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Poloniex Dead on: April 16, 2018, 01:35:25 PM
No, Poloniex isn't dead. I still use and patronize it. It was my virgin exchange. The patronage draught Polo is witnessing right now is what every unresponsive business/company faces after a long stretch of customers dissatisfactions and complaints. The Polo case should serve as a control warning to other over bloated exchanges too.

the main problem with polo is too long for your account to activate.
Mine got activated within 24hrs when I registered early last year. I guess I really was one of the blest of Poloniex.
