6941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: December 19, 2019, 07:28:49 AM
Hours ago, Bitcoin pumped from around 6.6k to around 7.5k but now it is slowly returning to its previous price.

A pump and dump?? Nahhh its normal already with the market Cheesy. If you really are in this market for a long time then you find this scheme as a normal situation already.

Today bitcoin loses its 7k glory, how are you guys holding up? What do you think will be the next stop? Do you think this drop in value is another strength to better bull run?
I'm still holding a bit of Bitcoin since I used most of it to buy a computer. I didn't care about the price already and still I don't care whatever happens for Bitcoin for the short term. The next stop is at 6k and if it goes down more then the next is the 5k which is a very very strong support already.
6942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 19, 2019, 07:18:28 AM
If there are some users here who wants to introduce crypto to the newbies then congratulations Cheesy.

For me, I don't want to introduce it to other people unless:
- they are an investor and have a background with other investments like stocks, bonds, ETF's etc.
- they are interested in cryptocurrency and have a little knowledge on it.

I don't want to introduce an investment to other people especially when I see that they are not interested on it because it will be useless. The hard truth is people always want to go for profits and not for losses. If they see that cryptocurrency is a risky investment, there is a chance that they will not be interested on investing on it since we know already how risky investing on cryptocurrency is.

One thing more is there are many advertisements already on the internet that are related to cryptocurrencies. Its up for them to decide if they want to do some research on it or not.
6943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: December 19, 2019, 07:12:52 AM
Dogecoin has been there for a long time already and even it has been listed on Binance, it didn't rise even a bit (or yes but after listing, it went down also).

There are better altcoins to invest with and Dogecoin is the coin which I don't see to put my money for. I don't want to spit some altcoins here but there are better altcoins. Why not invest on it instead on this meme coin Cheesy.
6944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright: "BTC is not Bitcoin" on: December 19, 2019, 07:08:42 AM
I wonder how he can hypnotize many people in the world and make people believe with his words.
This person is a stupid person and I see him more stupid than the world's most stupid person.
Well in the end, he can say whatever he wants on the internet and its up to the people if they will believe him or not. His words are pure stupidity. BTC is not Bitcoin he said then what is it then Cheesy. He is talking nonsense.
6945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 19, 2019, 06:29:58 AM
Since the Mid 2019, I already said to myself that I will buy a new computer before the year ends and that is what I did. I didn't care about the price of Bitcoin anymore as long as I can buy my computer for future use.

I sold some of my Bitcoins to buy a computer and I don't feel any regret for it even I know that the price of Bitcoin right now is considered at its lowest. I believe that Bitcoin will rise as always in mid to long term especially in 2020 as the halving of Bitcoin is fast approaching Cheesy.
6946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 19, 2019, 06:19:00 AM
~
now, the family is my first priority and gambling is my 5th priority..  before marriage, I had been very devastated, because I let gambling control myself, now that after a family I realize that my wife and child are my primary responsibility, their lives depend on me.
Me, I wouldn't even consider gambling as my priority or even include it because I don't want it and I don't want to get addicted into it. My family is my main priority at this moment and next is my future that is why I don't want to invest too much money in gambling. To all addicted gamblers who have family right now, stop gambling and focus on your family and you will never regret it Smiley.
6947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 18, 2019, 02:14:09 PM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or your family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?
Family is more important than anything else. Money is nothing if there is no Family, we earn money and we work hard because of our family, so it is pretty obvious that we choose family over gambling. Maybe this question is for those who are too much attached to gambling that can't control their mind playing gambling. Maybe it is hard for them to choose of the two.
I agree with this. I'm a family oriented person and I'm very close to my family and for me, they are the greatest gifts for me.

I will not and will never choose gambling or money over my family although if you are a money minded person, you will say "Your love with your family will be useless if you don't have money because your love can't make you buy necessities such as foods water etc." Probably, some of the addicted gamblers choose gambling over their family which is the worst decision a person can make.
6948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 18, 2019, 01:58:39 PM
I think it's another easy win by the Ginebra tonight, 54-77 Ginebra leading the game,... I think there is no way NP can still rally and come back to win.
Ginebra already figure out how to beat the NP and it seems like if they win this, they are 90% to advance in the PBA finals.
It's an easy win, the final score is 132-105, for Ginebra to score that much, we can say that the NP has lack of defense.
With this kind of win by the Ginebra san miguel, NP should not expect that they can even the series.

As usual, both imports scored well but the contribution of the locals of the Gins is better, especially Jeff Chan who has a very good shooting night.
and once again they also got outrebonded with a huge margin.
NorthPort has only 9 players that are playing and Standhardinger and Qualls are playing for too much minutes in the playoffs. They are having a heavy load management right  now and they are not getting enough time to rest themselves.

On the other side, Ginebra's roster are just better than NorthPort's roster in my opinion that is why they win the last 2 games. They lost Game 1 maybe so that they can adjust to how NorthPort is playing. NorthPort must step up in Game 4 or else, they will be eliminated by the crowd favorite Cheesy.
6949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: December 18, 2019, 01:55:41 PM
Paying other people for their betting tips is just worthless. Like you, they are just betting too and their picks are also their predictions. They are nothing different with your normal bets.

It will be better if you will bet with your own predictions and picks so that if you lose, you will not blame anything but yourself only. Know your risks if you are gambling as always and don't follow other people's predictions and picks.
6950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 18, 2019, 01:43:55 PM
I would rather not say anything about it, ever, because I might be a target for hackers if assuming it's online or get robbed if it's offline.
The point number 4 shouldn't be seen as a problem as long as you're above 18. It's only your addiction that will determine what people around you will say about your gambling habit.
Not only hackers but also the thieves that will know your winnings. This is why if I'm winning in gambling especially if its online, I'd rather not say it to anybody even to my family or friends. If I win in offline gambling, I always treat my companions so that they can get a share of my winnings since I'm a thoughtful person Cheesy.
6951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 18, 2019, 01:14:15 PM
Lakers and Bucks will going to  start the winning streak again trying to make history for most win.
Yes they have to because their winning streak was stop, Lakers could have a better chance if Davis was able to play, Lebron just can't carry the team alone even against the Pacers. Anyway, they just focus now on maintaining their good record, winning 10 times then loss 1 game is already outstanding.

Pacers won, 105-102, coincidence that the longest winning streak on the NBA was broken just a day apart? Lebron James almost got a triple double with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

And now Bucks and Lakers are going to start their winning streak again by facing each other.

The Bucks ended their winning streak yesterday against a Luka-less Mavericks and a day after that, Lakers also ended their winning streak against the Pacers. I don't think that there is a coincidence with it. Maybe they are just destined to lose right now for some reasons Cheesy.

With the match of the Bucks and Lakers, I will still go with the Bucks even though their win streak is over already. What happened to them against the Mavericks is just a choke I think Cheesy.

Newbie constructive post = 0 Merit, neglected.

Higher Rank constructive post = Merit, Merit and Merit......

Everyone puts oil on the oily head. Sad Sad Sad
There are some users who started newbies when the merit system has implemented but they still managed to get a legendary rank. I know some but will not enumerate them but those are the ones who are contributing here in the forum in their own way.

I thought that this merit system blah blah blah thing has stopped already. The system will be 2 years on January 2020 and still there are newbies who are whining. It is like a government, if you don't want the rules they implement then either go to another country or accept it. It is the same with the forum. If you don't want the rules they implement then leave. Nobody cares with your whining nonsense Wink
6955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 14, 2019, 12:56:51 PM
Not too much.

After the Bitcoin halving which will happen to the mid 2020, I don't like to expect too much with Bitcoin. Last 2018, many expected that the bull run will continue in that year but the opposite of it happened. In the last parabolic run of 2019, many expected that it will break its all time high and create a new but what happened. I don't want to expect too much for Bitcoin in the short run but in the long run, for sure Bitcoin will rise slowly but surely Smiley.
6956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 14, 2019, 12:45:33 PM
After 24 minutes of basketball, NorthPort is leading the game with a score of 51-39.

Qualls is hot, scoring 27 points. Though the game is not yet over but we could see NorthPort still have that momentum and confidence.

Hope this trend will continue and NorthPort will win this game 1.

I thought the first game of the semi was the TNT vs Meralco, I really don't know that a game will start today.
It looks like Ginebra are coming back now, they scored more in the 3rd quarter and this game is now close, hopefully the northport will win in this game so I would bet on the Ginebra in game 2.

Good luck bisdak40 whichever team you are betting now, I hope you'll win.
A huge 34 point win for the NorthPort as they defeated the Ginebra 124-90.

I didn't watch the game but I know already that they will carry they momentum they got on their last matchup between NLEX that is why I put all of my funds into them and I didn't regret doing it Cheesy. Now lets watch again tomorrow for the TNT-Meralco matchup. The matchup of 2 MVP teams Cheesy.
6957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 14, 2019, 12:40:18 PM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every projects before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible
I don't want to say this but I will for the sake of those bounty hunters who are hoping that they will get money in bounty hunting. The years where bounty hunting is profitable is over already and bounty campaigns are full of scammers already. I'm not saying that you need to stop bounty hunting but don't expect too much on it and don't invest too much time on it.

For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results
Nahhhh!!!!! Even IEO's are scams. Say a token who launched an IEO that is now a successful. Those tokens which launched their IEO's on Binance?? They are pure bullshit. If you will see the token economics, a huge percentage of the total token supply goes to CZ and Binance so they can dump it whenever they want. See what happened to MATIC a few days ago.
6958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 14, 2019, 09:40:51 AM
Bitcoin as a currency that is decentralized, they is no Headquarters for Bitcoin and it has no Central office where they distribute information concerning Bitcoin, Like illicit transactions that money was lost but recovered after some investigations through the distributed information.

like someone said on my previous thread that more people will be comfortable using bitcoin if these features comes into place.

Share your thoughts.
For your information, bitcoin transactions are already traceable thru blockchain.info website. The only problem is they can't trace who really is the owner of the addresses.

If you will see in the past years, there are some scammers who are getting arrested but there are more scammers who aren't arrested because they are intelligent enough to both hide themselves and to market. So in short, Bitcoin is a traceable currency already but it isn't that easy to trace because of the pseudo-anonymous feature of Bitcoin itself.
6959  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin will replace money sa aking palagay ganeto ang mangyayari on: December 14, 2019, 07:28:28 AM
Main point: Kung marereplace man ng bitcoin ang typical currency natin, hindi to ung instant na biglang next year e biglang  biglang bitcoin na agad ang ginagamit lahat. Not saying na ito ung mangyayari, pero kung sakaling mangyayari ito(after whatever number of decades), hindi ung tipong  mabubura agad ung PHP. Depnding on gaano ka-lala ung inflation natin at that time.

Mas maganda pa if gawin nalang nating alternative ang crypto as another way of paying sa mga tao kaysa palitan ito. Pwede naman na pagsabayin ang dalawang ito di ba Cheesy.
6960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 14, 2019, 06:51:30 AM
I'm looking forward for Northport now because of their flawless 2-0 victory against top seeder NLEX ROADWARRIORS.

NorthPort's confidence is very high now with that win over the NLEX road Warriors and they could take this opening game of the series with the Barangay Ginebra Kings as well. Odds for this game is good for those who will bet for the Batang Pier like me  Smiley.

NorthPort (3.15) Ginebra (1.34)

Very winnable game for the NorthPort squad here in game1, so i'll go with them.
The momentum of NorthPort right now is high because they beat the #1 in the eliminations and they will carry it here in the Semis against Ginebra.

I also bet for them with the same odds as you said and I hope that they win this time. Their confidence is high but it will be a hard fight for them because they will face the crowd favorite Cheesy.
